Ilhan Omar's un-Islamic winery and what we know

Rep. Ilhan Omar (Squad-MN) claims that her alleged inflated net worth was due to an accounting mistake. If this indeed is the case, then Omar's judgment in who she hires is obviously so poor that she is not qualified to be a member of Congress. But if you believe any average accountant could make such an enormous accounting error, then you need to question your own judgment. It simply doesn't happen to that extent.

Earlier this year, Omar reported a net worth of around $30 million, which brought up the question of possible fraud. Then Nick Shirley investigated a bunch of Somali-led scams highlighting the infamous 'Learing Center' (or Learning Center for you spelling buffs) in Minneapolis. The 'Learing Center' received $1.9 million in 2025 via Minnesota's Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) and there are reports they received around $4 million total over prior years. It was Shirley who exposed the fraud as his investigation into the Somali-led scams brought attention to Omar's financial dealings.

Omar just dropped her latest financial disclosure bombshell, and holy moly, it turns out she and her hubby, [not the brother hubby] former political consultant Tim Mynett, somehow scraped together a net worth somewhere between a modest $6 million and a "whoa, nelly" $30 million by the end of 2024.

Nearly all of that cheddar comes from Mynett’s ownership in his two companies, which were worth a combined grand total of no more than $51,000 at the end of 2023. Lawmakers get to play the fun game of disclosing assets in vague ranges, so the exact size of Omar’s personal jackpot remains a delightful mystery. What we do know is that their net worth exploded by at least 3,500 percent in a single year. Nothing suspicious there, folks. Move along.

This miraculous cash avalanche might create a few awkward moments for the Minnesota Democrat, who spent February whining to Business Insider about a "coordinated right-wing disinformation campaign" that had the audacity to claim she’s worth millions. Omar dismissed any suggestion that she’s sitting on more than a few thousand bucks as "ridiculous" and "categorically false." She even hopped on X to taunt her critics: "maybe try checking my public financial statements and you will see I barely have thousands let alone millions."

Turns out Omar has her better half to thank for rocketing her straight into multimillionaire territory in 2024. Mynett’s California winery eStCru LLC and his venture capital outfit Rose Lake Capital pulled off financial miracles that would make even the most optimistic lottery winner blush. End of 2023? Combined stake worth no more than $51k, bank accounts with less than $700 between them, and the dynamic duo of Mynett and his partner, former DNC adviser Will Hailer, were getting sued by angry investors who claimed they’d been defrauded out of millions.

By the end of 2024? Mynett’s stake in the two firms had magically inflated to between $6 and $30 million, and he and Hailer settled those pesky lawsuits with cold, hard cash. The Washington Free Beacon has the receipts.

Mynett’s various business adventures have been a delightful recurring headache for Omar ever since the two tied the knot back in March 2020. They were both still married to other people when they first crossed paths, of course, but that didn’t stop them from starting up an affair while Mynett was raking in a cool $2.9 million from Omar’s campaign as her political consultant. That arrangement proved short-lived once the public started paying attention to all the cozy financial ties. By the end of 2020, Mynett wisely bailed on political consulting and pivoted with Hailer into the glamorous worlds of wine and venture capital. Because nothing says "fresh start" like leaving one ethically questionable gig for two more.

MN fraud scandal: 6th family member who met with Keith Ellison to plead guilty

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) and AG Keith Ellison (D) face questioning over an alleged $9 billion fraud. Critics accuse them of a cover-up, diverting funds meant for vulnerable citizens. Imagine that, a pair of Democrats being accused of covering up fraud.

Yet another member of a family within Minnesota’s Somali community is expected to plead guilty on Thursday in the massive fraud scandal that has drawn national attention and prompted criticism of Attorney General Keith Ellison over a meeting he held with members of the family in question. Let me repeat: Ellison met with members of the family in which one guy will likely plead guilty of fraud.

Gandi Mohamed, 45, (Probably D) is expected to either plead guilty at a change of plea hearing scheduled for Thursday or choose to enter a plea of no contest, which would allow him to accept conviction and be sentenced without admitting guilt, according to court records. No contest is as good as pleading guilty, but sounds better.

Mohamed is the sixth member of his family who would be pleading guilty in the scheme prosecutors say fraudulently claimed to be serving meals while instead pocketing $14 million from the federal child nutrition program, Fox 9 Minneapolis reported.

Center of the American Experiment policy fellow Bill Glahn told Fox News Digital that "it’s good that he and his co-conspirators have all been convicted in the case, however, a courtroom trial would have been a useful exercise to show the public the scope and scale of the fraud."

The Mohamed family was present at the now infamous 2021 meeting between Ellison and members of the Somali community where would-be fraudsters could be heard asking the state's attorney general to help them secure more funding, before the conversation turned to campaign donations.

"The only way that we can protect what we have is by inserting ourselves into the political arena. Putting our votes where it needs to be. But most importantly, putting our dollars in the right place. And supporting candidates that will fight to protect our interests," one of the Somali community members says in the recording.

"That's right," Ellison responds.

Ellison has denied any wrongdoing regarding the recording, saying he was completely unaware of the fraudsters' crimes at the time of the meeting. [And if you believe that, you might be interested in a bridge I have for sale in Brooklyn]. The meeting occurred before any convictions in the case and before President Joe Biden’s Department of Justice had indicted anyone."I took a meeting in good faith with people I didn’t know and some turned out to have done bad things. I did nothing for them and took nothing from them," Ellison wrote in an April 2025 op-ed for the Minnesota Star Tribune.

Following that meeting, Gandi gave the maximum $2,500 campaign donation to Ellison that the attorney general returned to the Department of Justice in 2025.

"Our Attorney General, Keith Ellison, is not only looking the other way but doing so after taking donations from these very fraudsters," Republican Dalia al-Aqidi who is running for Congress in Minneapolis against Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) told Fox News Digital. "This is a betrayal of every Minnesotan who trusted him with that office."

Al-Aqidi explained that the voters in her district are "furious" about the fraud scandal.

"Which is why I've rolled out a five-point plan to prevent fraud before it starts," al-Aqidi said. "This isn't just about taxpayers, it's about people who really need food and housing. Preventing fraud isn't complicated, it just takes the political will to stop this type of abuse. It's clear that this scheme is being used to buy votes, and that has to stop."

Minneapolis' economy circles the bowl at a $203 million loss

Minneapolis city officials just dropped a bombshell preliminary report, claiming the feds' massive immigration crackdown (Operation Metro Surge) slammed the local economy with an estimated $203 million hit in January 2026 alone (and spilling into the roughly 11-week operation overall).

Leftist Mayor Jacob Frey called the damage "staggering" and firing off a direct challenge: "Was this operation, that has inflicted so much damage on our city that we can indeed calculate in real dollars, was it worth it?"

Frey and other incompetent leaders are now begging for federal and state cash to bail them out, insisting the totals are likely lowball estimates and don't capture the full pain.

Breaking down the city's math on the wreckage: Small businesses and restaurants got hammered hardest, bleeding $81 million (some accounts nudge it to $82 million) in lost revenue. Fear kept customers away, foot traffic tanked, and entire stretches of the city turned into ghost towns.

Workers, illegal aliens and citizens alike, stayed home scared, costing $47 million in lost wages.
Throw in extras like $4.7 million+ in hotel cancellations stretching into summer, plus spikes in social services demands, police overtime, and other ripple effects, and you hit that eye-popping $203.1 million "impact" figur
e.

Congrats Dems; you really know how to make your screw ups hit record proportions.
Frey hammered the point home: "Families were torn apart, small businesses lost millions and students had their learning disrupted." He framed the whole surge, with up to 3,000 federal agents flooding neighborhoods, as something that "stoked fear and ultimately chaos in the communities that we love," adding, "The damage caused by this operation doesn’t disappear just because the operation is ending."

This fresh mess surfaced in mid-February 2026, straight from the city's own preliminary assessment, and got splashed across local media like the Star Tribune, KSTP, FOX 9, and more.

Important note: These are estimated economic damages from reduced activity, not a straight punch to the city's budget or tax haul, though it obviously drags those down indirectly. And no, this has zero connection to the 2020 George Floyd riots (which racked up far bigger regional damage numbers in the hundreds of millions to over half a billion).

This one's tied squarely to the 2025-2026 ICE operation and its fallout in immigrant-heavy communities.

Gov. Walz chickens out and will work with Trump and Homan

Minnesota's gone full clown show, and finally, that giggling maniac and Elmer Fudd Lookalike Contest Winner, Tim Walz, has decided to play nice, agreeing to chat with Trump officials after Border Patrol shot and killed Alex Pretti in Minneapolis last Saturday. Cue the predictable leftist meltdown, screaming "execution!" with zero proof, as usual.

Meanwhile, some on our side jumped the gun claiming he was seconds from a mass shooting spree. Look, the guy was strapped at the protest, sure, but he didn't have his carry permit. Before you clutch your pearls, that's just a $25 fine in MN, not some felony strip-your-rights deal like domestic violence. And he also failed to carry any ID while remembering to carry an additional two loaded magazines for his weapon.

The whole thing turned into a messaging dumpster fire, so now Trump's riding in to mop it up, tapping Tom Homan as the go-to guy, probably not just for the state ops but to deal directly with Walz and sort this disaster.

"The Governor made the case that we need impartial investigations of the Minneapolis shootings involving federal agents, and that we need to reduce the number of federal agents in Minnesota," his office wrote in a release.

Renee Good and Alex Pretti, both Minnesota residents and U.S. citizens, were fatally shot and killed by federal immigration officers in separate incidents in Minneapolis.

Trump agreed to talk to the Department of Homeland Security about ensuring the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is able to conduct an independent investigation, Walz' office said, and also agreed to look into either reducing the number of federal agents in Minnesota or working with the state "in a more coordinated fashion on immigration enforcement regarding violent criminals."

Oh, so now you're all cooperation and "productive," Tim?

For days you've been on a full-blown unhinged tirade against federal immigration officers, comparing it to the third day of Gettysburg, dropping not-so-subtle war-with-the-feds hints, and capping it off by equating your own state's descent into chaos (which you enabled) to Nazis hunting Anne Frank. It's deranged. You're deranged, Timmy.

Screaming nonsense through a bullhorn while perched on a fence like a mental patient is not leadership; it's performance art for the asylum.

And surprise, your nonstop lies just got another American killed. But hey, maybe the real kicker is that leaked anti-ICE Signal chat blowing up over the weekend, courtesy of reporter Cam Higby. Turns out some top Minnesota Democrats, allegedly including Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan, were admins or dispatchers in a coordinated effort to track, obstruct, and interfere with ICE ops. Some might call that a how-to manual for domestic terrorism.

Shocking, right? Not really, coming from this clown car.

Funny how the Left forgot to mention a crucial detail about the guy who ICE neutralized

Governor Tim Walz, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey wasted no time rushing out statements after federal immigration authorities fatally shot an armed suspect in Minneapolis on Saturday morning but conveniently omitted the fact that the suspect was armed and posing imminent danger.

Tampon Tim Walz demanded, "The President must end this operation. Pull the thousands of violent, untrained officers out of Minnesota."

See how he used the dead guy as a sacrificial lamb for 'the cause'?

Repulsive Rep. Omar went even further, declaring, "This appears to be an execution by immigration enforcement." She added that she is "absolutely heartbroken, horrified, and appalled" that federal agents "murdered another member of our community." She had to be pulling our collective leg because the victim was a white man, and we all know how she and many on the Left really feel about white guys.

But according to Omar, the shooting wasn't "isolated or accidental," rather it was part of the Trump administration’s effort to "trying to beat us into submission." How's that for throwing gas onto the already burning fire of hatred burning in her state?

She went on to claim President Trump has transformed Minnesota from a "place of refuge" into a "war zone where unchecked federal forces murder our neighbors."

Mayor Jacob Frey piled on, asking, "How many times must local and national leaders plead with you Donald Trump to end this operation and recognize that this is not creating safety in our city." Well golly gee, it almost sounds as if Mayor Jake has aspirations for doing something special for himself in 2028.

The Department of Homeland Security offered a far different account, telling conservative outlets such as The Daily Wire that officers were conducting a "targeted operation" against an illegal immigrant "wanted for violent assault." During the encounter, the suspect approached Border Patrol agents with a "semi-automatic handgun" and was pronounced dead at the scene after violently resisting attempts to disarm him. [For any liberals who may be accidentally reading this, a semi-automatic handgun, like semi-automatic rifles, is a weapon that fires a round once, each time the trigger is pulled.]

DHS stated: "At 9:05 AM CT, as DHS law enforcement officers were conducting a targeted operation in Minneapolis against an illegal alien wanted for violent assault, an individual approached US Border Patrol officers with a 9 mm semi-automatic handgun. The officers attempted to disarm the suspect but the armed suspect violently resisted."

The contrast between the DHS facts and the inflammatory rhetoric from Walz, Omar, and Frey couldn't be starker, yet highly predictable.

The pile-on didn't stop there.

Comrade Rep. Alexandria [aka Sandy] Ocasio-Cortez (Democratic Socialist-NY) having finally recovered from nearly being killed during the January 6 protest of 2021, nasally chimed in with her typical apocalyptic drama: "Americans are being killed in the street by their government. Our Constitution is being shredded and our rights are dissolving. Resist." She added, "We have a responsibility to protect Americans from tyranny."

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) called for ICE to be "out of Minnesota now."

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani joined the chorus: "As tens of thousands across America protest the violence that ICE sows with impunity, federal agents shot and killed another person in Minneapolis today," adding, "ICE terrorizes our cities. ICE puts us all in danger. Abolish ICE." He was going to add: 'And free, free, free Palestine,' but bit his tongue.

[Fun Fact: Mamdani is currently receiving feline anti-allergy injections as he plans to get a cat in the near future. Dogs, of course, are out of the question--the prophet hated dogs.]

The Department of Homeland Security has promised more details on the armed confrontation are coming. But don’t hold your breath waiting for the outrage brigade to acknowledge the suspect was armed and resisting. If we're lucky, we might find a short sentence mentioning he was a registered gun owner, but that would likely be buried deep in the article where liberals tend to fade out.

DOJ Drops the Hammer on Minnesota Church-Storming Wackos After Anti-ICE Meltdown

Well, folks, the Trump administration isn't messing around when it comes to people who think interrupting a church service is the height of civil discourse.

A pack of anti-ICE screamers stormed the Cities Church in Minneapolis smack in the middle of Sunday worship, apparently convinced that one of the pastors moonlights as the head honcho of ICE's St. Paul office. Dozens of these geniuses burst in, turning a sanctuary into their personal protest stage. Churchgoers told Fox News Digital the mob even tailed them into the parking lot afterward, surrounding cars and playing human barricade.

President Trump's team didn't take long to respond with something stronger than a sternly worded tweet.

Attorney General Pam Bondi responded to the situation. "I just spoke to the Pastor in Minnesota whose church was targeted. Attacks against law enforcement and the intimidation of Christians are being met with the full force of federal law."

She then added, for those in the back: "If state leaders refuse to act responsibly to prevent lawlessness, this Department of Justice will remain mobilized to prosecute federal crimes and ensure that the rule of law prevails."

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt piled on via social media, after footage showed the crowd yelling through the service like it was open mic night at a bad comedy club. "President Trump will not tolerate the intimidation and harassment of Christians in their sacred places of worship," she said.

The AG continued: "The Department of Justice has launched a full investigation into the despicable incident that took place earlier today at a church in Minnesota."

And Harmeet Dhillon, the Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights, chimed in with the kind of resolve we haven't heard from that office in years: "We will not rest until we are able to deliver justice."

Of course, while the feds are mobilizing to protect houses of worship from being turned into flash-mob venues, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey is out there doing his best impression of a community organizer who never quite got over 2020.

Appearing on CBS' "Face the Nation," Frey basically shrugged off the whole thing and defended the protesters as misunderstood patriots. He pushed back hard on any suggestion that local leaders might bear some responsibility for the chaos.

"This is not about safety. What this is about is coming into our city by the thousands and terrorizing people simply because they're Latino or Somali," Frey said. "People in Minneapolis are speaking up. They're speaking up peacefully. They're standing up for their neighbors. And this is not just about resisting Trump. This is about loving and caring for the people that call this city home. And it's been inspiring."

If you enjoy  Brain Flushings and would like to subscribe or Buy Me a Coffee, and check out the sponsors on this page, I would appreciate it, as it supports my work and my coffee drinking habit. No pressure and subscribing is free.

Sure, Jacob. Storming a church, chasing families to their cars, nothing says "inspiring" and "peaceful" like that.

The DOJ's civil rights investigation is officially underway, and it's nice to see federal law enforcement treating attacks on Christians and law enforcement personnel with the seriousness they deserve. In other words, the adults are back in the room, and the tantrum crowd is finally getting the timeout it so richly earned.

Ilhan Omar Drops an F-Bomb on America, Calls It the 'God***n United States' in Wild ICE Rant

If you're wondering just how far the anti-ICE hysteria on the left has gone, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) just took it to a whole new level. During a Democratic field hearing in St. Paul on Friday titled "Kidnapped and Disappeared: Trump's Deadly Assault on Minnesota," Omar compared U.S. immigration enforcement to the authoritarian nightmares she fled in Somalia, and then she let slip that she never expected to see this kind of thing in the "goddamn" United States.

"I don't want to curse, but those of us who escaped places like that, the one place where we thought we would never experience this is the U.S. goddamn states," the woman who married her own brother said, clearly wanting to curse.

She didn't stop there, the witch doubled down, declaring that Americans should be ashamed. "And we should all be ashamed that it is the United States that is allowing for this to take place, and it is being… broadcast to the rest of the world, where people are calling and saying, 'Are you sure this is America?' I am ashamed, and we must do everything that we can to bring back the America we all escaped into."

This came amid escalating tensions in Minnesota, where thousands of federal agents have been deployed following a massive fraud scandal late last year. The flashpoint includes the killing of Renee Good by an ICE agent, which critics have seized on to claim strong-arm tactics and intimidation. President Trump has even floated invoking the Insurrection Act to restore order, though he seemed to walk that back on Friday.

Omar didn't hold back on her GOP colleagues either, accusing Republicans of being fine with an "occupation that is terrorizing people in Minnesota that live in Minneapolis and St. Paul."

"When my constituents call for help, we don't ask them who they voted for, because that is what it means to be an elected U.S. representative," she said. "So it is appalling for our colleagues on the other side of the aisle to be OK for the president to carry out retribution here in Minnesota. "It is appalling for our Republican colleagues to be OK for there to be cell detentions in ICE for American citizens," she continued. "It is appalling for them to be OK for there to be checkpoints in American cities where people are asked for their papers. And it is appalling for Americans to have to carry their citizen papers only to be told they are not sure those papers are correct."

If you enjoy  Brain Flushings and would like to subscribe or Buy Me a Coffee, and check out the sponsors on this page, I would appreciate it, as it supports my work and my coffee drinking habit. No pressure and subscribing is free.

Needless to say, the comments lit up conservative corners of the internet. Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) fired off on X: "No member of Congress should ever refer to our country as the ‘U.S. Goddamn States.' What should be the consequence of saying that?"

Elon Musk said in response: "Whatever the penalty is for treason," which can be as severe as execution. Trump administration's immigration crackdown. But dropping the "goddamn" bomb on the entire country? That's next-level garbage and it's not going over well with folks who think, that at the very least, members of Congress should show a shred of respect for the nation they swore an oath to serve.

Smiling anti-ICE agitator accused of punching FL trooper as Gov. DeSantis declarers, "This is not Minneapolis"

Smiling Cruz seen allegedly resisting arrest

Jennifer Cruz is seen allegedly resisting arrest in Florida. She was detained after allegedly punching a trooper in the face during an immigration enforcement operation, according to Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier.

James Uthmeier

"This is Jennifer Cruz of Jacksonville," Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier wrote in an X post, sharing an image of the woman, who appeared to smile as law enforcement restrained her, but of course, it could have simply been gas.

Moments before she cracked a grin, video [below] shows Cruz kicking toward a female officer while other law enforcement members had already placed her hands behind her back.

"Jennifer disagrees with immigration enforcement and decided to commit a few felonies by getting out of her car and punching a Trooper in the face. But unlike Minnesota, we don't put up with this nonsense. Not today, Jennifer," Uthmeier wrote.

Authorities were seen restraining Jennifer Cruz, who allegedly punched a Florida trooper during an immigration enforcement operation. (@AGJamesUthmeier on X)

Footage shows a chaotic scene as authorities attempted to detain Cruz. As several officers placed her hands behind her back and walked her toward one of their vehicles, Cruz is seen attempting to kick another female officer nearby. Cruz then smirks as the officers detaining her place her on the hood of a vehicle. Once placed in the back of the vehicle, she is seen flailing her corpulent legs and continuing to shout at officers until the doors are slammed.

A News4JAX reporter spoke to Juan Alvarez, the owner of the Mi Pueblo grocery store which was near where the incident occurred. He said he witnessed a traffic stop involving a state trooper.

"ICE agents showed up with the state trooper. They detained the driver," he said.

"And so yeah, they had an operation going on. And after that, they had detained another person. But it seems they got into an altercation with that person. It turned violent," he said, noting that more law enforcement showed up.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis shared Uthmeier's post and wrote, "Really bad decision to attack one of our troopers. This isn't Minneapolis…"

DeSantis also mentioned the incident at an unrelated press conference on Thursday.

"I do know that there was a woman who came out and assaulted one of our troopers," DeSantis said. "Let me just tell you guys this is not Minneapolis. That is not going to end well for you in Florida."

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, (R-FL), quipped in a post, "Never go full Jennifer." [Jennifer is the new Karen.]

"This is how it's done. In Florida, we respect law enforcement and have no patience for far-left extremists who choose to defend dangerous criminals instead of their fellow Americans. This isn’t Minneapolis. In Florida, if you break the law, you will pay the consequences," Rep. Greg Steube, (R-FL), asserted on X.

Woman deftly removed from car by ICE after impeding enforcement ops in-- guess where

The dolt in the hat with sign obviously doesn't understand physics: light vs. heat

A video blowing up on social media shows ICE agents dragging a woman out of her vehicle after she allegedly used it to block a lawful enforcement operation Tuesday in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This mess comes less than a week after Renee Good was fatally shot by agents when she tried the same stunt, interfering with operations and striking an ICE agent with her vehicle.

The driver (still unidentified) parked her car across multiple lanes, clearly trying to stop ICE vehicles during an anti-ICE protest. As agents moved in to clear protesters off the road, they approached her after she tried to wedge them between her car and another vehicle."Go, go, go, go," people yelled at the driver as agents surrounded the car.

Agents reached through the open window, unlocked the doors, grabbed her, and dragged her out.

She resisted hard as they pulled her from the vehicle, screaming that she had been "beaten up by police before" and that she was disabled. She claimed she was just trying to reach a doctor's office and that's why she hadn't moved her car.

Clinging to her open car door, she shouted to bystanders that she was an "autistic, disabled person." Agents pried her hands loose, pushed her against the vehicle, and slapped on the handcuffs.

Bystanders blew whistles and yelled "Stop," "That’s so f**ked up," and "All you do is hurt."A few minutes later, protesters and black-clad agitators swarmed ICE vehicles and started pounding on them. Agents had to hit back with pepper spray and pepper balls to disperse the crowd. Several people ended up on the ground in cuffs as officers restored order.

Protesters kept calling the ICE agents "Nazi's," with one yelling, "You will pay for your crimes." ICE ERO Acting Executive Associate Director Marcos Charles said at least 60 protesters who had "impeded us or assaulted an officer" were arrested.

This Minneapolis clash shows the real danger federal immigration officers face doing their lawful jobs. Less than a week after Renee Good struck and injured an ICE agent with her vehicle (leading to the fatal outcome), agents are still dealing with nonstop defiance. Protesters keep putting themselves and officers in needless danger. The tragedy with Good should have been a wake-up call. Clearly, it wasn't.

The Dem Narrative Is Falling Apart as DHS Exposes the Identities in CBP Shooting in Portland

The Dem narrative is falling apart like an Ikea bookcase yet again as the DHS exposes the real identities behind the so-called "married couple" in the CBP shooting incident in Portland.

No surprise, the two injured parties turn out to be suspected affiliates of the notorious Tren de Aragua gang.

Fox News reported on how Portland leaders demand ICE shut down operations in the city following the shooting of two migrants linked to Tren de Aragua, [TdA] is a transnational criminal organization originating from Venezuela.

As fresh protests flare up and Democrats voice their predictable outrage over yet another shooting involving a federal immigration agent in Portland, the Department of Homeland Security is cutting through the noise to lay out the facts on the two individuals involved and their suspected gang ties.

In a Friday post on X, DHS identified the pair as Luis David Nico Moncada and Yorlenys Betzabeth Zambrano-Contreras, describing them as Venezuelan criminal illegal aliens and suspected members of the foreign terrorist organization Tren de Aragua. According to the agency, the two attempted to run over a U.S. Customs and Border Protection agent and others with their vehicle, prompting the agent to open fire in self-defense.

The incident unfolded around 2:19 p.m. local time when Border Patrol agents stopped the vehicle and identified themselves as law enforcement, DHS explained.

"Yesterday, two suspected Tren de Aragua gang associates, let loose on American streets by Joe Biden, weaponized their vehicle against Border Patrol in Portland," DHS wrote, adding that "the agent took immediate action to defend himself and others, shooting them."

Sounds familiar, doesn't it?

Both suspects fled the scene but were later located by Portland Police, who provided first aid before transporting them to a hospital.

DHS noted that Moncada, the driver, entered the U.S. illegally in 2022 and was released into the country under the Biden administration. Beyond his suspected Tren de Aragua ties, he had prior arrests for driving under the influence and unauthorized use of a vehicle, and he faces a final order of removal.

Zambrano-Contreras, the passenger, entered illegally in the El Paso area in 2023 and was likewise released by the Biden administration. DHS stated she "played an active role in a Tren de Aragua prostitution ring" and had been involved in a previous shooting in Portland.

Pushing back hard against media portrayals, DHS labeled reports of the pair as an innocent "married couple" as "REVOLTING LIES," clarifying in another X post that "the two criminal illegal aliens who attacked Border Patrol in Portland are a gang member and his prostitute NOT an innocent ‘married couple.’"

Democrats, predictably mindless and reactionary, rushed to condemn federal law enforcement almost immediately after Thursday's shooting.

Portland Mayor Keith Wilson called for ICE to "halt all operations" in the city pending a full independent investigation. But Wilson has no authority to halt federal law enforcement operations and is whistling in the wind.

"We know what the federal government says happened here," Wilson said during a news conference Thursday. "There was a time when we could take them at their word. That time has long passed."

He went further, insisting that ICE agents and DHS leadership "must fully be investigated and held responsible for the violence inflicted on the American people in Minnesota, in Portland, and in all the communities across America."

Oregon Gov, Tina Kotek (D) weighed in, attributing the incident to the "reckless agenda of the Trump administration."

"While the details of the incident remain limited, one thing is very clear: when a president endorses tearing families apart and attempts to govern through fear and hate rather than shared values, you foster an environment of lawlessness and recklessness," she said.

Kotek highlighted concerns from Oregon's attorney general and others about excessive force by federal agents in Portland, arguing that "today's incident only heightens the need for transparency and accountability."

Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR) took to X to blame the Trump administration for 'inflaming violence.'

"I'm monitoring the first awful reports of two people shot in Portland by federal law enforcement," Wyden wrote before knowing who these thugs are. "I'll keep you updated, but Trump's deployment of federal agents in my hometown is clearly inflaming violence, and must end."

This latest episode follows the fatal shooting of anti-ICE protester Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis under similar circumstances. The Trump administration maintains that Good, while obstructing immigration enforcement, attempted to run over an ICE agent, who fired in self-defense, leading to her death. And Good's wife, when the shooting occurred shouted that it was her fault.

Both incidents have sparked widespread anti-ICE protests nationwide and drawn sharp rebukes from prominent Democrats, even as DHS continues to highlight the dangerous criminal elements released under previous policies now facing consequences.

Suspected Gang Member ‘Weaponized’ Vehicle Against Border Patrol Agents In Portland, DHS Says

Well, folks, the hits just keep on coming in the ongoing saga of open borders meeting reality. A suspected member of the notorious Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua decided to turn his car into a battering ram against federal immigration officers in Portland, according to the Department of Homeland Security.

One quick-thinking Border Patrol agent drew his weapon and fired a defensive shot at the vehicle after the driver allegedly tried to mow down law enforcement. The suspected gang member and his passenger, also believed to have gang ties, peeled out and vanished into the night like the bad guys in a low-budget action flick.

Here's the official DHS rundown: "At 2:19 PST, US Border Patrol agents were conducting a targeted vehicle stop in Portland, Oregon. The passenger of the vehicle and target is a Venezuelan illegal alien affiliated with the transnational Tren de Aragua prostitution ring and involved in a recent shooting in Portland. The vehicle driver is believed to be a member of the vicious Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua. When agents identified themselves to the vehicle occupants, the driver weaponized his vehicle and attempted to run over the law enforcement agents."

"Fearing for his life and safety, an agent fired a defensive shot. The driver drove off with the passenger, fleeing the scene," the statement continued.

This came out after whispers started spreading that federal immigration agents had shot and wounded two people in Portland. Whether those rumors line up perfectly with DHS's account is still sorting itself out, but the timing is certainly convenient for anyone looking to stir the pot.

And let's not forget the fresh wound from the day before: an ICE agent in Minneapolis fatally shot a woman who blocked a road with her vehicle. As officers approached and asked her to step out, she reportedly backed up, then lurched forward. One agent in front fired the fatal shot. The Department of Homeland Security labeled the incident "an act of domestic terrorism."

"This is the direct consequence of constant attacks and demonization of our officers by sanctuary politicians who fuel and encourage rampant assaults on our law enforcement who are facing 1,300% increase in assaults against them and an 8,000% increase in death threats," the agency said.

That Minneapolis shooting lit the fuse for mass demonstrations.

Gov. 'Tampon Tim' Walz (D-MN) threatened to call in the National Guard while calling for mass protests across the United States against immigration officers. Walz had been in the National Guard, lied about his rank, and when his unit, the 1st Battalion, 125th Field Artillery Regiment was to be deployed to Iraq, he retired, leaving his unit to go to war.

Because nothing says "public safety" like rallying crowds to demonize the people trying to enforce the law against actual violent gang members. Classic. Stay frosty out there, America. The clowns are running the circus, and the imported thugs are providing the entertainment.

BREAKING: Minneapolis Catholic school shooting, prompted huge law enforcement response

Alright, folks, strap in for another grim chapter in the saga of a world gone mad. A shooting rocked Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis on Wednesday, and the details are as gut-wrenching as you’d expect. Minnesota’s own Governor Tim Walz, never one to miss a chance to emote on X, chimed in with, "I've been briefed on a shooting at Annunciation Catholic School" and "I'm praying for our kids and teachers whose first week of school was marred by this horrific act of violence." Thanks for the prayers, Tim, but let's get to the meat of this.

The Minneapolis Police Department, via a city message, tried to calm the panic with, "there is no active threat to the community at this time" and "the shooter is contained.”  Fox 9 sources say the suspect, whose name is still under wraps, isn't just contained but dead. One less problem to deal with, I suppose. City officials added, "Stay away from the area to allow emergency personnel to help victims." Solid advice, because nothing screams chaos like rubberneckers clogging up a crime scene.

The visuals are straight out of a nightmare. Footage from the scene showed parents hustling their kids away from the school, probably wondering how "back to school" turned into "run for your life." Locals told Fox 9 they heard so much gunfire they thought someone was hammering shingles on a roof. That's right, gunshots so frequent they blend into the neighborhood soundtrack. A federal source, not one for sugarcoating, told the outlet that a "substantial number" of people were injured. No word on specifics, but that phrase doesn't exactly scream "minor incident."

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem jumped in, saying, "DHS is monitoring the horrific shooting at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis." She added, "We are in communication with our interagency partners, and will share more information as soon as it becomes available. I am praying for the victims of this heinous attack and their families."

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, not to be outdone in the "I’m on top of this" department, declared, "I’m monitoring reports of horrific violence in South Minneapolis." He's in touch with Chief O'Hara, and the city's emergency response team is apparently activated. "We will share more information as soon as we can. Please give our officers the space they need to respond to the situation," he said.

The ATF's St. Paul office confirmed their agents are on the scene, responding to "an active shooter situation at Annunciation Church in Minneapolis." And President Trump, never one to sit out a crisis, posted on Truth Social: "I have been fully briefed on the tragic shooting in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The FBI quickly responded and they are on the scene. The White House will continue to monitor this terrible situation. Please join me in praying for everyone involved!"

Monitoring, praying, briefing: sounds like D.C. has a thesaurus open to the crisis management page.

The school, part of Annunciation Church and serving K-8 kids, just kicked off the academic year on Monday, per Fox 9. Nothing says "welcome back" like dodging bullets, right? This is where we're at, schools turning into war zones while politicians and bureaucrats churn out the same tired script.

Ilhan Omar blames police for crime spree, umbrellas for the rain, and the gun for the shooting of cinematographer

Blames her brother for their failed marriage

Minnesota has seen a recent surge in violent crime after police have been leaving the job in droves due to the "defund the police" movement, the disrespect the uniform brings down on them from the far-left, and the state officials basically allowing thugs to get back out on the streets before cops even write their reports.

Rep. Ilhan Omar (Democratic socialist-MN) blames the police for the criminal behavior of the criminals because blaming the criminals for what they do would be like shouting "Mohammad was a pedophile!" in a Wahhabi mosque during Dhuhr.

Omar, who is quick to judge others lest she be judged, [after all, she married her own brother, divorced him, married and divorced another guy, then married her campaign advisor after paying him millions in campaign donations] also blames the gun held by Alec Baldwin for magically shooting and killing Halyna Hutchins on the set of "Rust," a movie being filmed in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Ms. Omar sees no connection in the reduction in policing in Minneapolis, and the fact that crime and basic lawlessness has spiked like a porcupine seeing a roadkill ghost. At a Saturday town hall event in the city she claimed,  "[W]hat we must also recognize is that the reduction in policing currently in our city and the lawlessness that is happening is due to two things."

Yes, they are two things, like bullets and guns. In other words, there is a definite relationship between the two, and while umbrellas and rain are not a bidirectional cause and effect, police presence or absence is clearly related to criminal behavior.

Funny how, after the death of George Floyd,  police presence declined over the last year due to lack of morale, early retirement and just plain leaving. In the wake of the reduction violent crime rose 17% that year and a record was set by the city for murders in Minnesota's largest city.

But Ilhan Omar has an agenda and refuses to acknowledge the connection. She claims the Minneapolis PD is "dysfunctional," like her marriages.

She is a disgrace who lacks wisdom and gratitude to a country she constantly vilifies, and a flaming anti-Semite who should have been admonished when she made it obvious on several occasions.

'Genius' with bad teeth gets nearly 9 years for arson in Minn. riots

The proverbial "s**t-eating grin

If you're dumber than a box of cat litter you ought to not set stores on fire and then post it on Facebook with a blow-by-blow description of your crime. For a cretin from Illinois, that's exactly what he did.

The 29-year-old [with a matching IQ] mouth-breather was sentenced to eight years and nine months in the slammer for setting a Minneapolis store on fire amidst the riots following the death of thug George Floyd. The idiot would have likely gotten away with his crime, but he wanted Facebook fame and posted his crime online, tipping off law enforcement.

[Let's just call him] 'Scumcrumpet Jones,' was busted in Chicago on May 31, 2020 at 2:21 a.m. for violating Chicago's emergency curfew order implemented by Mayor Lori Lightfoot after protests escalated into "mostly peaceful" violent riots.

After the bust, law enforcement went through 'Jones' social media where they found his self-incriminating Facebook posts. He had multiple videos with him in Chicago and is heard saying, "Let's start a riot" and "I'm going to start doing some damage."

Brilliant!

On May 29, the genius, who hails from Galesburg, IL,  posted a 2-hour video on Facebook Live showing him committing crimes in Minneapolis.

"['Jones'] announced that he came 'to riot,' and is depicted handing out artillery-shell fireworks, encouraging violence against law enforcement officers, actively damaging property, breaking into buildings, and looting businesses," according to the Department of Justice.

The silly schmuck was purportedly caught on video saying, "They got SWAT trucks up there . . . I've got some bombs if some of you all want to throw them back . . . bomb them back . . . here I got some more . . . light it and throw it." He is then seen in the video asking for lighter fluid, entering the boarded-up Sprint store in Minneapolis and entering the back room. He knocked boxes into a pile and splashed them with the lighter fluid, then tells a juvenile whom he had taken with him from Galesburg, to light the pile on fire.

The legend in his own mind then fled the building yelling, "I lit it on fire!"

He then allegedly went to loot an Office Depot and is seen on video taking items from the store.

On June 1, 2020, the dickweed was charged with civil disorder, carrying on a riot, and possession of unregistered destructive devices. In April, he pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court to one count of arson. On Tuesday, he was sentenced to eight years and nine months in prison followed by three years of supervised release.

So, while most of these idiots have gotten away with their crimes, this idiot's need for "fame" got him caught. And that is why I refuse to print his full photo and his name.

Imagine, he's going to spend almost nine years in the barrel.

"George Floyd Square" becomes dangerous--kind of like George Floyd

A reporter was talking about police reform changes at the eponymous "George Floyd Square," where the thug life ended for Floyd, and suddenly gunshots were fired, leaving the reporter, Philip Crowther, to run and seek cover.

Crowther is an international reporter for the Associated Press GMS. He was covering the anniversary of Floyd's final arrest when the shooting interrupted his reporting.

“BREAKING: shots appear to have been fired at George Floyd Square. Quiet now. People still sheltering in place,” Crowther posted early Tuesday afternoon. “We heard a few dozens sounds of what appear to have been shots fired on this block. Everyone sheltered in place. Lots of running. No apparent need for medics. Will update.”

Social workers were quick to not arrive on scene.

“From our vantage point we see one broken window, apparently from one of the shots fired,” he continued. “Consensus among reporters here at George Floyd Square was that we heard anywhere between a dozen and two dozen shots fired.”

“Quick rough footage of the moment we heard shots fired at George Floyd Square. We counted 30 upon looking back at the footage,” Crowther added.

“George Floyd Square very quiet again now,” the reporter said about one hour after his initial tweet. “But a fellow reporter just had her phone smashed because she took photos of a storefront hit by a bullet.” The phone smashing was a simple gesture to honor the death of a fellow thug.

On April 20, a jury found former Minneapolis Police officer Derek Chauvin guilty of second-degree murder, third-degree murder, and second-degree manslaughter in relation to the death of Floyd. There seems to be little doubt that the verdict was largely determined by the media, the failure to have the trial elsewhere, and the pressure put on jurors by an enraged, anti-cop mob.

Floyd’s death was a perfect excuse for the violent protesting and riots across the nation last summer.

Black Lives Matter, a Communist group central to the protesting and rioting, has called for the national defunding of police officers. Their voices only amplified following the Floyd incident and the need for greater policing was put on display by the Marxist anarchists.
