5 Georgia men who torched cop car at George Floyd riots sent to the slammer

Five amigos have each been sentenced to over a year in federal prison for burning a police car in Georgia during the riots that broke out there after George Floyd died in police custody, likely from an overdose of drugs in his system.

Bruce Anthony Thompson, 23, Jesse James Smallwood, 22, Delveccho Waller, Jr., 23, Dashun Martin, 24, and Judah Coleman Bailey, 21, all of Hall County, Georgia, all pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit arson.

The police cruiser was parked outside the officer's apartment complex in Gainesville when the five miscreants torched it in the early hours of June 1, 2020.

The idiots met in downtown Gainesville before spotting the SUV. "Look, man, check it out," one of the men said to the group. "Let's cover our faces with masks and s**t and fire a flare through the window of the cop car."

So they did and the car lit up the darkness.

Almost two weeks later, the geniuses were arrested. The Atlanta Journal Constitution reported that law enforcement spotted the car belonging to Jesse James Smallwood--it matched a description of the one at the scene of the crime. Inside Smallwood's vehicle was three explosives and a flare gun.

Brilliant!

The defendants were also sentenced to three years supervised released and will have to pay the Gainesville PD over $3,600 in restitution for the vehicle.

The officer involved in Floyd's death in Minneapolis, Derek Chauvin, was sentenced to over 22 years in prison after being convicted of murdering Floyd, a known thug.

"George Floyd Square" becomes dangerous--kind of like George Floyd

A reporter was talking about police reform changes at the eponymous "George Floyd Square," where the thug life ended for Floyd, and suddenly gunshots were fired, leaving the reporter, Philip Crowther, to run and seek cover.

Crowther is an international reporter for the Associated Press GMS. He was covering the anniversary of Floyd's final arrest when the shooting interrupted his reporting.

“BREAKING: shots appear to have been fired at George Floyd Square. Quiet now. People still sheltering in place,” Crowther posted early Tuesday afternoon. “We heard a few dozens sounds of what appear to have been shots fired on this block. Everyone sheltered in place. Lots of running. No apparent need for medics. Will update.”

Social workers were quick to not arrive on scene.

You can see the video here

— Philip Crowther (@PhilipinDC)

“From our vantage point we see one broken window, apparently from one of the shots fired,” he continued. “Consensus among reporters here at George Floyd Square was that we heard anywhere between a dozen and two dozen shots fired.”

“Quick rough footage of the moment we heard shots fired at George Floyd Square. We counted 30 upon looking back at the footage,” Crowther added.

“George Floyd Square very quiet again now,” the reporter said about one hour after his initial tweet. “But a fellow reporter just had her phone smashed because she took photos of a storefront hit by a bullet.” The phone smashing was a simple gesture to honor the death of a fellow thug.

On April 20, a jury found former Minneapolis Police officer Derek Chauvin guilty of second-degree murder, third-degree murder, and second-degree manslaughter in relation to the death of Floyd. There seems to be little doubt that the verdict was largely determined by the media, the failure to have the trial elsewhere, and the pressure put on jurors by an enraged, anti-cop mob.

Floyd’s death was a perfect excuse for the violent protesting and riots across the nation last summer.

Black Lives Matter, a Communist group central to the protesting and rioting, has called for the national defunding of police officers. Their voices only amplified following the Floyd incident and the need for greater policing was put on display by the Marxist anarchists.

Biden plans to meet with family of drug-addled man who resisted arrest and died of overdose of fentanyl

The President of the United States plans to meet with the family of George Floyd on the anniversary of his death. Biden may also plan more meetings with the family on Floyd's birthday, his first release from prison, his second release and so on, and the anniversary of the day he stuck a gun in a woman's stomach in front of her son while his cohorts robbed her.

So far, those dates have not been discussed with the White House communist party planner, but the family is hopeful and stand to make a few bucks on Tik Tok if it pans out.

Floyd likely died of massive drug overdose of fentanyl after he tried to pass a counterfeit twenty dollar bill. The police were called and attempted to arrest him for about the ninth time in his miserable life, and he died while being properly restrained, according to Minneapolis Police Department protocol, as former officer Derek Chauvin held him down with a knee to the side of his neck.

The legacy media made Floyd into a saint, much like they did with Dr. Anthony Fauci, while the Democrats used the Floyd death to push their politics and help divide the country even more than they already have. But hey, anything for votes and don't let a crisis go to waste.

When the death occurred last May 25, it provided an opportunity for Black Lives Matter and Antifa to riot and steal from Black-owned businesses.

White House press ginger Jen Psaki said Friday that Biden would mark the day but didn’t provide specifics because she never does.

Biden previously set Floyd's death anniversary as the deadline for passage of the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act, a police reform bill that basically ties the hands of police and treats criminals like monks. The bill stalled in the Senate but passed in the House in March.

The bill would ban chokeholds, end qualified immunity for law enforcement against civil lawsuits and create national standards for policing. Republicans oppose ending qualified immunity because cops could be sued for simply doing their job.

Psaki on Friday admitted the bill was "unlikely" to pass by Biden’s deadline but insisted progress continues to be made on it.

Floyd’s family also plans cash in on Floyd's death and will host events with Democrat politicians and race hustlers [same old, same old] in Minneapolis on Tuesday.

Chauvin was convicted of second-degree unintentional murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter last month for kneeling on Floyd’s neck for more than nine minutes during an arrest on May 25, 2020. The court would have added a jaywalking charge if video was available to show him crossing the street illegally.

Three other former police officers await trial in connection with the case. With the crazed mob looking for blood, and the Democratic Party afraid to not appease them, it's likely the officers will be screwed, blued and tattooed.

Derek Chauvin's attorney files a motion for a new trial

Eric Nelson, the attorney for former Minneapolis cop Derek Chauvin, has filed a motion for a new trial Tuesday. You may remember [if you aren't living in a Tibetan cave] that Chauvin was found guilty of murder in the death of a Black man with a long history of criminal activity.

The court filing lists several grounds, one of which was that his right to due process and fair trial were violated when the court decided against sequestering the jury from the get-go, and refusing to grant a change in venue.

Some of the filing states:
The Court abused its discretion when it failed to sequester the jury for the duration of the trial, or in the least, admonish them to avoid all media, which resulted in jury exposure to prejudicial publicity regarding the trial during the proceedings, as well as jury intimidation and potential fear of retribution among jurors, which violated Mr. Chauvin’s constitutional rights to due process and to a fair trial.
While Nelson didn't provide specific details in the filing, Judge Peter Cahill [who appeared to favor the prosecution as he allowed emotional testimony into the courtroom] said at the end of trial that Chauvin's legal team may have grounds to overturn the trial on appeal due to the antagonistic call for violence by the disgusting Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA).

Nelson also argued that the court violated Chauvin’s rights by not ordering Morries Hall — the man in the car with Floyd before his death — to testify at the trial or to submit into evidence “his statements to law enforcement regarding his” interaction with Floyd.

According to the bird cage liner known as The New York Times, Hall invoked the Fifth Amendment during the trial after his lawyer argued that Hall’s testimony could expose him to drug-related charges.

But even more importantly, Nelson requested a hearing to throw out the court’s verdict “on the grounds that the jury committed misconduct, felt threatened or intimidated, felt race-based pressure during the proceedings, and/or failed to adhere to instructions during deliberations.”

One of the jurors, Brandon Mitchell, 31, was later discovered to have allegedly lied during the jury selection phase of the trial. He spoke publicly to the media after the trial was over and was photographed wearing a shirt that said “BLM” and “Get Your Knees Off Our Necks” last summer in Washington, D.C. The filing, however, did not mention Mitchell, so it’s unclear whether it even relates to him or not, although it should definitely be mentioned.

Chauvin was found guilty earlier this month of second-degree murder, third-degree murder, and second-degree manslaughter in the death of George Floyd. His sentencing is currently scheduled for June along with expected riots.

Government planned to arrest Derek Chauvin had he been found innocent

The Biden Department of [in]Justice was reportedly planning to arrest Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer, and charge him with civil rights violations if the jury found him innocent of murdering notorious George Floyd. Lucky for Chauvin, he was found guilty on all three counts against him, even several which didn't seem relevant to the case.

So while the police officer was found guilty, it turns out we are living in a police state under this crazy radical administration. This is not to excuse what Chauvin did--it appeared to be horrendous--but it's beginning to look rather obvious that justice comes in colors and that isn't justice at all.

report from the Minneapolis Star Tribune stated:
“Leading up to Derek Chauvin’s murder trial, Justice Department officials had spent months gathering evidence to indict the ex-Minneapolis police officer on federal police brutality charges, but they feared the publicity frenzy could disrupt the state’s case. So they came up with a contingency plan: If Chauvin were found not guilty on all counts or the case ended in a mistrial, they would arrest him at the courthouse, according to sources familiar with the planning discussions.”
But the "backup plan" wasn't "necessary" the report said, once Chauvin was found guilty on April 20th [which also turns out to be Hitler's birthday, may he rot in hell]. He was found guilty of second-degree murder, third-degree murder, and second-degree manslaughter. If they were able to convict him on jaywalking, they would have done so, but the video doesn't indicate he crossed the street illegally.

However, the oxymoronic DOJ is moving forward with the case, planning to level charges of civil rights violations against the former officer, who is still awaiting sentencing for the murder and manslaughter convictions.

Notably, before the jury announced their verdict, Co-President Joe Biden publicly said he was “praying” jurors would hand down the “right verdict” and convict Chauvin. [During his prayers, at least 250 American babies across the country were brutally put to death in the wombs of their mothers because Biden never let his religion get in the way of his politics.]

“I can only imagine the pressure and anxiety they are feeling," Biden said, "and so I waited until the jury is sequestered and I called [the Floyd family]. I wasn’t going to say anything about it … it was a private conversation.”

Floyd, a multiple offender who is best known for putting a gun to the stomach of a woman while her child looked on, and for doing massive amounts of drugs, has become the poster child for Black Lives Matter, an organization with an obvious semantic overload of a title, that clearly only cares about the black people who suit their socialist agenda.

Biden, who is obviously cognitively deteriorating in front of us as he mumbles and gaffes, should have kept his nose out of the court's business altogether, but he didn't. Neither did other members of the Democratic Party such as Rep[ulsive] Maxine Waters (D-CA) who called for crowd intervention if Chauvin skated and then later denied her intentions.

But let's get back to the point at the beginning: the fact that the DOJ can be wielded as a political weapon should concern all of us. There is no doubt that they handle conservatives differently than they do the left. The latest example is that of Rudy Giuliani and Hunter Biden, both failed to report foreign dealings but only Giuliani's home was raided by the FBI for his electronic devices.

And when Rudy asked them to take his computer with information about Hunter Biden, they refused to take them. Now that smells fishy.

Derek Chauvin's defense witness' tenure as chief medical examiner to be investigated

Maryland officials plan to conduct an investigation into all the deaths that occurred to those in police custody that were overseen by former police officer Derek Chauvin's defense witness. So if you testified on behalf of Chauvin, they're coming after you.

The person in this case is state's chief medical examiner, Dr. David Fowler.

Dr. Fowler was Maryland's chief medical examiner from 2002 to 2019 and is now a member of a consulting firm. He testified that the primary cause of George Floyd's death was a sudden heart rhythm disturbance that occurred during police restraint due to underlying heart disease.

He also said the fentanyl and methamphetamine in Floyd's system, and possible carbon monoxide poisoning from auto exhaust, were contributing factors in his death. But his testimony contradicted the prosecution's experts who said Floyd, a notorious scumcrumpet, died due to a lack of oxygen. Fowler also classified the manner of death in the case as "undetermined," contradicting Hennepin County's medical examiner who ruled it as a homicide.

The investigation announcement came from Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh and Gov. Larry Hogan (D) on Friday less than 24 hours after the AG's Office received a letter from Washington, D.C.'s former chief medical examiner Roger Mitchell, and signed by 431 doctors [Dr. Jill Biden was not among the signees] from around the country.

The letter stated that Fowler’s conclusions were so far beyond the bounds of accepted forensic practice that all his previous work could come into question.

The letter called for probes at the state and federal level into Fowler’s medical license as well as a review into the Maryland Office of the Chief Medical Examiner during Fowler's 17-year tenure.

"Dr. Fowler's stated opinion that George Floyd's death during active police restraint should be certified with an 'undetermined' manner is outside the standard practice and conventions for investigating and certification of in-custody deaths," the letter said. "This stated opinion raises significant concerns for his previous practice and management."

"We agree that it is appropriate for independent experts to review reports issued by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) regarding deaths in custody," Coombs said in a statement. "We are already in conversations with the Governor's Office about the need for such a review, and have offered to coordinate it."

Bruce Goldfarb  the chief medical examiner's office spokesman, said the agency is "committed to transparency and will cooperate fully with an inquiry."

Like they have a choice.

Even Democrats are angry at Waters and will back censure resulting in her losing her musical chair

She's one of the most racist and corrupt politicians on Capitol Hill and has been the catalyst, at least in part, for the Los Angeles riots and the current ones over the Derek Chauvin-George Floyd case.

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) couldn't allow justice to run its course, She got her butt on a jet and headed for Minneapolis to help cheer on the leftist rioters and basically said that former police officer Derek Chauvin should be found guilty, not only for the three counts against him, but for First Degree Murder of George Floyd, who is now an angel in heaven, flying even higher now than ever before.

Due to Waters' boneheaded move, the case might be declared a mistrial, as it should. Even our Co-President Biden got in the act and stupidly added to the mix by saying he hoped the "correct" verdict was reached, and alluded to a guilty verdict as he has all along the trial.

It was so stupid of Waters that even some Democrat lawmakers are reportedly “so angry” with remarks she made over the weekend about the Chauvin trial that they are willing to back her GOP-led censure, which would strip her of her position as chairwoman of the House Financial Services Committee, a position she should have never been appointed to in the first place after her past history of financial dealings with her husband's bank.

The idiot said that "protesters" [aka rioters] were "looking for a guilty verdict" and if they don't get what they demand, "we cannot go away," she shouted. Regarding what “protesters” should do if they do not get the verdict that they want, Waters responded that activists have “got to stay on the street,” “get more active,” and “get more confrontational.”

By "confrontational" she means riot, destroy, loot, and attack innocent White people.

According to Fox News' Chad Pergram, the anger among the left "metastasized" after Judge Peter Cahill, who presided over the case involving Chauvin and Floyd, blasted Waters on live TV during closing arguments Monday.

“Some Democrats conceded privately they are not pleased with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) saying that Waters shouldn’t apologize,” Pergram wrote. “Fox is told that a lot of Democrats are angry at Waters, are concerned about the optics of potential violence being linked back to her and Democrats generally.”

Gee, whatever gives us that impression?

Moderate Democrats were hurt during the election when far-left lunatics pushed to "defund the police." These lunatics, it should be noted, have private security and don't need police to protect them. It's the rest of the public, particularly the poor, who would suffer most if the police weren't able to do their job.

Pergram noted that the reason Democrats are reportedly angry at Waters doesn't seem to be based on any kind of moral issue--Democrats only pretend to be moral--but rather because they are “concerned about the optics of potential violence being linked back to her and Democrats generally.”

Meanwhile the media, particularly CNN and MSNBC are licking their chops hoping for more riots to fill their coffers.

Pergram explained that Democrats’ majority is so slim now that they can only afford to lose two votes on their side. “One knowledgeable Democrat told Fox that some Democratic members are so angry at Waters now that they would relish the opportunity to censure her,” Pergram said. “So, McCarthy’s censure resolution may actually have legs.”

In a statement Monday, McCarthy announced that he would seek to censure Waters:
This weekend in Minnesota, Maxine Waters broke the law by violating curfew and then incited violence. Increased unrest has already led to violence against law enforcement and her comments intentionally poured fuel on the fire. We’ve heard this type of violent rhetoric from Waters before, and the United States Congress must clearly and without reservation reprimand this behavior before more people get hurt. But Speaker Pelosi is ignoring Waters’ behavior. That’s why I am introducing a resolution to censure Rep. Waters for these dangerous comments, and I hope that all my colleagues – both Republican and Democrat – will stand up for peace on America’s streets.
Waters double-downed on her remarks at an interview on Monday, making a baseless, disgusting claim that Republicans were attacking her in an attempt to raise money from the "KKK" [a Democratic racist organization] and "white supremacists' an incredibly small number of morons that the left pretends is leading the charge against all Black people.

These are the kinds of incendiary remarks that should get that gas bag censured.

Waters claimed that her comments about being “confrontational” were about “confronting the justice system” and “confronting the policing that’s going on,” in spite of her being totally nonspecific about who she wants to confront.

“I am not worried that they’re going to continue to distort what I say. This is who they are and this is how they act,” Waters said without providing any evidence that her opponents had distorted the comments that she made. “And I’m not going to be bullied by them.”

By distorting, Waters is referring to the notion of quoting her words.

Pelosi appreciates Floyd dying for her cause

Speaker Nancy "Flying Hands" Pelosi (D-CA) thanked George Floyd for dying and thus "sacrificing" his life, albeit involuntarily, for the cause of "justice" and the support of the Democratic agenda of dividing the country, thus preparing it for a glorious future of socialism.

"Thank you George Floyd for sacrificing your life for justice," Pelosi said through her designer face mask during a press conference with the Congressional Black Caucus just outside the Capitol building. "Because of you, and because of thousands — millions — of people around the world who came out for justice, your name will always be synonymous with justice," and fentanyl.

Some staffers on Capitol Hill thought Pelosi's remarks stupid, tone deaf, self-serving, and racist. Conservative pundits and Twitter tweeters went after the old congresswoman's remarks almost the second it left her hands.

Several users had this to say:

In response to the criticism, Pelosi quickly tweeted a short statement, referencing her initial remarks, which her office labeled a clarification but was actually a walk-back:
George Floyd should be alive today. His family’s calls for justice for his murder were heard around the world. He did not die in vain. We must make sure other families don't suffer the same racism, violence & pain, and we must enact the George Floyd #JusticeInPolicing Act. https://t.co/tWln9NRg1g— Nancy Pelosi (@SpeakerPelosi)
Since Floyd's death in May of last year, Pelosi has used his death and been at the front of the Democrats' effort to enact sweeping new criminal justice reforms designed to combat the minute amount of police violence and racial bias in law enforcement. Like present gun laws, these protections for all groups of people are already protected under the law, but if the Democrats didn't have the racism platform, they would only have the infrastructure platform to push their socialist agenda.

"The Demo Rap"

House Democrats have twice passed similar reforms — named in honor of the nine-time incarcerated thug, George Floyd — in the months since his death.

Say his rap sheet.

Biden sees 'systemic racism' as a "stain on our nation" but doesn't define it

What is systemic racism?  What system of government can you point out that has a system within it that favors one race over another?

How about affirmative action?

The quota system favors minorities and provides them with an unfair advantage in education and employment over white people and Asians. The best example of recent times is the Harvard scandal that favors Blacks and other minorities over Asians in their admission standards. The quota system has also been an integral part of hiring in corporate jobs, particularly in government.

But if systemic racism (not individual racism because there are idiots in all nations) can be shown in our society, a system of racism that is not in direct conflict with our laws, I would like to see it. And if you see it and can point it out, tell President Biden and the "Party of the Donkey" because they talk about it all the time and don't explain what it is.

Co-President Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr. disrespected the nation during a speech he muttered following the verdict in the George Floyd case on Monday, saying that “systemic racism” was a “stain” on America’s “soul.”

That is a disgusting lie.

“Today, a jury in Minnesota found former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin guilty on all counts in the murder of George Floyd last May,” Biden mush-mouthed. “It was a murder in full light of day and it ripped the blinders was off for the whole world to see the systemic racism the vice president [Co-President Kamala Hahaharris] just referred to. There’s systemic racism that’s a stain on our nation’s soul.”

The only stain he should worry about is the one in his Joe Boxer briefs.

“The knee on the neck of justice for black Americans, the found fear and trauma, the pain, the exhaustion that black and brown Americans experience every single day,” he continued, making reference to Derek Chauvin's knee that was not on the neck of the drug- addled Floyd.

“The murder George Floyd, launched a summer of protests we hadn’t seen since the Civil Rights Era in the 60s, protests that unified people of every race and generation in peace and with purpose, to say enough, enough, enough of the senseless killings. Today, today’s verdict is a step forward. I just spoke with the governor of Minnesota who thanked me for the close work with his team.”

“I also spoke with George Floyd’s family again, a remarkable family of extraordinary courage,” Biden added, in spite of the fact that Floyd had little contact with them of late.

“Nothing can ever bring their brother, their father back," Biden said, confident that he was correct for a change. "But this can be a giant step forward in the march toward justice in America. Let’s also be clear," he added ironically, "as such a verdict is also much too rare. For so many people, it seems like it took a unique and extraordinary convergence of factors, a brave young woman with a smartphone camera, a crowd that was traumatized, traumatized witnesses, a murder that lasts almost 10 minutes in broad daylight for the whole world to see.”

Actually, it was the crowd of angry onlookers shouting at the cops that may have been a factor in Chauvin keeping Floyd pinned down on the ground as he had to keep his attention focused on the possible danger that might erupt.

The death of George Floyd was a tragedy and Chauvin was to blame, at least in part, for his death. But to find him guilty on all three counts seems wrong, but it's easy to say when you're not in the jury box.

However, there's no doubt in my mind that Biden and Maxine Waters were influential in the outcome and at the very least, Waters should be admonished or expelled from Congress.

The jury should have been sequestered at the very outset and the case should have been heard in a different location--that's a no-brainer.

PBS' Yamiche Alcindor's total lack of legal understanding should not be a barrier to her reporting

The "PBS NewsHour" so-called correspondent Yamiche Alcindor's legal analysis of the closing arguments of the Derek Chauvin trial has the same credibility as Iran's claim that their weapons grade uranium enrichment will only be used for energy supply.

Chauvin's attorney, Eric Nelson, focused heavily in his closing arguments on George Floyd's heavy drug use and levels at the time of his death, along with his poor health. Nelson said that these factors, rather than Chauvin's knee on Floyd's upper shoulder, were the cause of his death.

But Alcindor did her fact-checking by relying on the prosecution's case which exclusively relied on Chauvin's use of force and not on any mitigating factors.

"Chauvin's lawyer said it flies in the face of common sense to say Floyd's death was not caused at least in part by his underlying conditions or drug use," Alcindor tweeted. "This argument is in direct contradiction to the prosecution's case which says believe your eyes, Chauvin's knee killed Floyd." So according to this idiot "correspondent," we should #BelieveAllProsecutors.

Critics mocked the taxpayer-funded reporter for her poorly informed analysis.

"Yes, typically the defense and the prosecution do present contradictory arguments," Daily Caller reporter Dylan Housman told Alcindor.

"Does not seem odd or surprising that the defense case would be in 'direct contradiction' to the prosecution case. That's the way it works," Washington Examiner senior political correspondent Byron York chimed in.

"Yeah wow so weird that the defense is contradicting the prosecution," conservative commentator Matt Walsh reacted.

CNN senior legal analyst Laura Coates, who somehow was able to get a law degree, ignorantly tweeted: "Defense begins the closing by defining reasonable doubt, not with why #DerekChauvin is innocent. Think about that," an apparent dismissal of the bedrock principles of the American justice system.

Think about this, Laura: the defense does not need to prove innocence. The prosecution needs to find guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.

Tlaib calls for lawlessness and end to prisons

Potty-mouth squadette, Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) did some mind reading on Monday when she went on Twitter posting that the death of Daunte Wright "wasn't an accident" and apparently called for an end to policing.

The congress cretin said that the police system should be ended because it could not be reformed due to it being "inherently [and] intentionally racist."

In the eyes of the left, all police are racists, even the Black cops; roads are racist, even though it takes thought to be racist; Trump and all Republicans and those who voted for Trump are racist, even though Tlaib and the rest of her ilk have tried to silence conservative voices so she has no idea who we really are.

To call for an end to policing and incarceration, is to call for a country that looks like Seattle, Ferguson, New York City, Detroit, and I can go on with more Democrat-lead cities that have experienced rioting, looting, burning, assaults, and murder under the pretense of racism.

Tlaib, who is best known for calling the President of the United States a "motherf***er," seems to equate policing to "government funded murder." The truth is, she probably knows better than that if she has ever looked at the actual crime statistics.

Tlaib posted her bile after Wright, 1 20-year-old Black man, was shot and killed by a female police officer with 25 years of experience on the force. The tragic incident occurred in Minnesota this past weekend.

Body camera footage made public shows the officer yelling "Taser," before she fired her handgun. This has led officials to characterize the shooting as an  "accidental discharge" after it was believed the officer meant to grab a Taser but instead fired her gun; a bonehead mistake that cost Wright his life.

Wright drove off, crashed and died. He had been stopped for having expired tags on his car and he is also said to have had an outstanding warrant for his arrest.

The officer has been put on administrative leave, as is routine with any shooting by a cop.

Fate has caused emotions to ramp up and provide an excuse for opportunistic scumbags to loot and riot as this comes during the trial of Derek Chauvin, a former police officer involved in the death of George Floyd last year. That trial is in its third week as the defense is presenting their case for acquittal.

Local officials, and President House Plant, have requested protesters remain peaceful, which, according to the Comedy News Network, they mostly are.

A state of emergency has been declared and a curfew implemented across several counties.

POTUS considering invoking "Insurrection Act" after Rand Paul attacked outside WH

Pres. Trump speaks at Londonderry, NH rally
Aug. 28, 2020

It looks as if President Trump has had enough. After the RNC Thursday, scores of violent protesters surrounded Rand Paul, his wife and two friends, and nearly knocked them to the ground. The police escort prevented them from going down, just as Paul prevented an officer from having the same thing happen to him.

[Certain] Black Lives Matter activists also harassed others who attended the Rose Garden festivities--they were screamed and cursed at and one young anarchist double-flipped "the bird" at an elderly lady for the crime of being a white Trump supporter.

And preceding this violence, Democratic-run cities and towns, places that have been under the leadership of the left for decades, have experienced violent riots, looting, burned out buildings and even murder. Democrat leaders refused to allow law enforcement to stop the anarchy, and some like, Maxine Waters, Ayanna Pressley and Democratic VP nominee, Kamala Harris, have gone so far as to encourage the activists.

President Trump has reached his limit, and it's too bad it took this long.

Trump said Friday night that he's seriously considering invoking the Insurrection Act of 1807 in order to quell the rioting that is killing towns, cities and even people. The catalyst for this was the RNC incidents by Black Lives Matter [when they aren't law enforcement or Trump voters].

At his first post-convention campaign rally, he told his supporters in Manchester, NH, about the "thugs" who attacked Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) and others after leaving the event where he gave his acceptance speech on the South Lawn Friday morning.

“They took tremendous abuse,” President Trump said. “Rand Paul was in big trouble last night. He’s a friend of mine. They walk out and they get accosted and they get abused. They get spit on. It’s a disgrace.” He explained to the audience that Sen. Paul "would be in either very bad shape or dead . . . that would include his wife" if the D.C. police had not been there to run interference with the crowd.

Trump faulted Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser, a Democrat, for allowing the "anarchists" to get near the White House. He said, "We're not going to allow that to happen."

“Our country’s going to change,” he said. “We’re not supposed to go in, unless we call it an 'insurrection.' But you know what we’re going to do? We’re going to have to look at it. [White House Chief of Staff] Mark Meadows is here. and we’re going to have to look at it, because we’re not going to let that happen to people that go to the White House to celebrate our country.”

Had President Trump intervened with federal personnel during the riots, the left would have labeled him a 'dictator.' Since he hasn't gone in, Biden is blaming him for the violence. Meanwhile, Trump has shown incredible patience and appropriately allowed local government to handle it--he offered federal help was told he was not to get involved while the left allowed the anarchy to go on for three months now.

The president has criticized Democratic governors and mayors for doing nothing and refusing help in dealing with the riots, which began over the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis It was recently learned that his death was actually caused by the fentanyl in his system, not by the knee to his neck by officer Derek Chauvin who held him down for over eight minutes.

“If a city or state refuses to take the actions that are necessary to defend the life and property of their residents, then I will deploy the United States military and quickly solve the problem for them,” he said at the time, indirectly implying the use of the rarely used Insurrection Act.

Trump referred to the protesters as "agitators" and "troublemakers." Using his go-to insult he said that Mayor Bowser "should be ashamed of herself for that kind of display of incompetence.”

“That’s what’s happening in Portland, and that’s what’s happening all over. You have Democrat-run cities,” he said.

Trump then spoke about Biden, saying the Democratic nominee for president is only speaking out now about the violence because his popularity is falling in the polls. He waited over three months to open his mush-mouth only for political reasons, not because he actually cares.

“The poll numbers have swung,” Trump said. “Today it was announced that Joe Biden is coming out of the basement, because the poll numbers have totally swung. It was a rapid swing.”

Totally.

Portland Mayor removes head from butt, calls it a riot

Ted Wheeler, the failed leftist Democrat Mayor of Portland, Oregon has finally removed his head from his nether regions when he finally concluded the riot in his town was a riot and not merely a protest. His enlightenment came when the rioters tried to set fire to a police precinct and blocked the exits while cops remained inside.

No rioters were shot in the process which shows an incredible amount of restraint on the part of police. Had they shot their way out of what would have been an inferno, the left would have called it police brutality. Had the officers been burned alive, the left would have blamed them for their own demise.

But Wheeler had a rude awakening as he worried that the attempt to kill police officers would help reelect President Trump.

“When you commit arson with an accelerant in an attempt to burn down a building that is occupied by people who you have intentionally trapped inside, you are not demonstrating, you are attempting to commit murder," Wheeler said in a news conference with Portland Police Chief Chuck Lovell.

"Don’t think for a moment that you are if you are participating in this activity, you are not being a prop for the reelection campaign of Donald Trump — because you absolutely are," he said. "You are creating the B-roll film that will be used in ads nationally to help Donald Trump during this campaign. If you don’t want to be part of that, then don’t show up.”

And that is why he was upset.

After about 70 days of rioting, a riot was finally declared Wednesday evening. It finally occurred to Wheeler that it was a riot when agitators descended upon the Portland Police Bureau’s East Precinct building, spray-painted over security cameras, broke a glass door with a 2x4, lit a fire using an accelerant and threw fireworks and other objects at officers. The scumbags came well-prepared.

Police said that a truck also attempted to run over officers but according to NY Rep. Alexandria Obviously-Commie (D), the driver was only trying to get a loaf of bread and the cops must have been in his way, so she doesn't blame the driver.

The front doors of the precinct were barricaded before the fire was started with more than 20 officers and civilian employees inside, police said, according to FOX 12.

Officers used tear gas to disperse the rioters and at least eight people were arrested. A federal court order bars police from using tear gas unless a riot is declared.

It took several months before Wheeler admitted that violent behavior, looting, burning and destroying businesses was a riot that was looking for a reason to begin and found it in the death of a man named George Floyd.

Floyd tried to pass off a counterfeit twenty dollar bill and the police were called to make an arrest. The new video shows what happened during the arrest and sheds more light on the event as Floyd was not only high on drugs, but also complained of a breathing problem before former officer Derick Chauvin put his knee on his neck for nearly nine minutes at which point Floyd died. This is not to excuse Chauvin and the three officers who did nothing involved, but now it appears as if it wasn't a racially motivated or premeditated incident.

Back to Wheeler.

“I believe that city staff could have died last night,” the weasel mayor said. “I cannot and I will not tolerate that. This is not peaceful protests. This is not advocacy to advance reforms.”

But he could and he did tolerate months of rioting. It took an incident that would help Trump's reelection for Wheeler to do something about the violence.

He wasn't even concerned about how the rioting would likely spread COVID-19, for some reason. In fact, was any Democrat, or the media [but I repeat myself] worried that the nationwide protests would spread the virus?

Wheeler also urged the peaceful protesters to avoid gatherings that could turn destructive or violent, according to Oregon Live. He did not, however, urge them to socially distance.

“If you are a nonviolent demonstrator and you don’t want to be part of intentional violence, please stay away from these areas,” Wheeler said, referring to the nonviolent demonstrators who were cheering on their violent counterparts. “Our community must say that this violence is not Portland, that these actions do not reflect our values and these crimes are distracting from reform, not advancing.”

If it isn't Portland, what is it, because it sure isn't Stink River, Arkansas.

The left blamed Trump for the riots because he sent in federal agents to quell the violence that began before their arrival. Then the Democrats said if the federal agents would leave, the violence would end and an agreement was struck with Gov. Kate Brown [who is white and plans to apologize for her surname lest she be canceled for racial appropriation], and ICE regarding the removal of agents, which began on July 30th.

Wheeler said the city expects “additional planned attacks on public buildings” in the coming days and said he was giving the police leeway to do what they needed to do to counter those plans as long as it can be done without threatening peaceful protesters who continue to cheer on the violence but don't get their hands bloody.

On Wednesday, the useless Portland Police Chief Chuck Lovell said rioters aren’t forwarding the cause of racial injustice protesters. "Portlanders need to send a strong message that enough is enough," he said. “This movement is really powerful, but the violence has taken away from it.”

In terms of racial injustice, the only law on the books that actually favors one group over another is Affirmative Action, which favors people of color over whites in the use of racial quotas in hiring and education. Its intentions were good, but it hurt a lot of people in the process.

NYPD lieutenant apologizes for taking knee with protesters

Protests cure Covid?
An NYPD Lieutenant Robert Cattani was not wearing his Colin Kaepernick "Pig Socks" when he took a knee in late April alongside George Floyd protesters, but his virtue-signaling helped maintain the false narrative that police are racists and brutal in spite of the facts. How Cattani is a cop, much less a lieutenant, is astonishing.

Rather than facing his fellow officers face-to-face, he sent them an email telling them "the cop in me wants to kick my own ass."

The New York Post obtained a June 3 email by Cattani of the Midtown South Precinct. In the cowardly email he said that he regrets his "horrible decision to give into a crowd of protesters' demands" by kneeling at Foley Square in Lower Manhattan along with a few other cowardly officers, but perhaps they were scared or actually believe the crap being spread by Antifa and their ilk.

“The conditions prior to the decision to take a knee were very difficult as we were put center stage with the entire crowd chanting,” Cattani posted. “I know I made the wrong decision. We didn’t know how the protesters would have reacted if we didn’t and were attempting to reduce any extra violence.” They may have hit him or called him names.

Video from the demonstration shows thousands of protesters chanting and rhyming, “NYPD, take a knee” at the men in blue who obediently did what they were told.

After some prodding from the crowd, at least four cops knelt and were met with raucous cheers. Fortunately for the cops, nobody in the crowd peed on them or shot Silly String at them.

Cattani made the excuse: “I thought maybe that one protester/rioters who saw it would later think twice about fighting or hurting a cop,” he wrote. “I was wrong. At least that [sic] what I told myself when we made that bad decision. I know that it was wrong and something I will be shamed and humiliated about for the rest of my life.”

Good for him. Humiliation over failure to perform one's sworn duty is cleansing and good.

“We all know that a–hole in Minneapolis was wrong,” Cattani added, referring to fired cop Derek Chauvin who has been charged with murdering Floyd. Cattani also knows that Chauvin is the exception, not the norm, of that kind of behavior and taking a knee puts that fact into question by the a-holes he knelt with.

“I could not imagine the idea of ever coming back to work and putting on the uniform I so wrongly shamed,” he wrote. “However, I decided that was the easy way out for me and I will continue to come to work every day being there for my personnel.”

Because he can use the money and hey, retirement is not that far in the future.

Should Cattani be fired?

No. Hopefully those of us on the right don't see every screwup as a reason to add another person to the cancel culture. Let the other a-holes [on the left] run with that idea. Maybe Cattani has even learned from his mistake and I would give him the benefit of any doubt one may have.

Aside from the military in combat, I cannot imagine a tougher job than a police officer. And hearing about an officer exhibiting Stockholm Syndrome can get me angry.

NBC minimizes the vandalism to St. John's in D.C.

Tom Costello, a Nothing But Claptrap (NBC) "reporter, was part of an "MSNBC Live" show with host Stephanie Ruhle, and tried to convince the hundred or so people who watch their garbage that St. John's Episcopal Church in Washington, D.C., received only "some vandalism," from the anarchy that took place in our nation's capital for six days now.

Ruhle began her question to Costello by saying that while it's the sixth day, "it seemed pretty peaceful from just looking at the pictures." She then asked the charlatan reporter, "How was it close up?"

Once the smoke had cleared from the church after it was set on fire and graffiti sprayed on the walls, it probably did look peaceful. Sadly, George Floyd, the victim of police brutality who was killed by former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin probably looked peaceful after Chauvin killed him, but that doesn't mean that violence wasn't perpetrated on Floyd or the church.

The aftermath of violence often looks peaceful.

But Costello, being the weasel reporter that he is, replied to the question: “Yeah. It’s dead quiet at the moment. Let me just give you the lay of the land. Across the street here is St. John’s Church. As you know, that’s the church that had some vandalism and President Trump stood in front of with a Bible a few nights ago.”

Some vandalism?

What a sugarcoated, trivializing statement. That's like Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) describing the 911attacks on the Twin Towers as "some people did something."

Even their local NBC affiliate downplayed the damage of the fire at first with the headline: Historic Church Near White House Damaged Amid Unrest; Leaders Pray for Healing.” The subhead read: “St. John’s Church, known as the ‘Church of the Presidents,’ was damaged after peaceful protests near the White House took a destructive turn.”

Just some people actually did something.

The nursery of the church was set ablaze, large fires burned right outside the church, the protective glass covering a stained-glass window was destroyed, and filthy-worded graffiti was spray-painted on the building's exterior by some people.

Fortunately, the damage didn't destroy the church outright, but some people gave it the old Antifa try.

But the real crazy part is how the left and their political operatives want to now abolish police departments all across the country. That should make things go more smoothly for some people who want to do something.

Hey, why not also abolish fire departments to really do the job these freaking anarchists want to do to the country?

Wife of Derek Chauvin files for divorce on day he's charged with George Floyd killing

The wife of Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer charged with killing George Floyd has quickly filed for divorce, her lawyer said. They had been married since 2010.

The announcement came Friday that Kellie Chauvin, a former Mrs. Minnesota winner, is seeking to ditch Derek Chauvin, on the same day he was charged with murder.

The former cop is white and Floyd is black, so that created an excuse for a pandemic of violence all across the country with Canada soon to [most likely] follow as there is little to do there at present.

In a statement by Sekula Law Offices obtained by WCCO it said:
This evening, I spoke with Kellie Chauvin and her family. She is devastated by Mr. Floyd’s death and her utmost sympathy lies with his family, with his loved ones and with everyone who is grieving this tragedy. She has filed for dissolution of her marriage to Derek Chauvin.
While Ms. Chauvin has no children from her current marriage, she respectfully requests that her children, her elder parents, and her extended family be given safety and privacy during this difficult time.
Chauvin, 44, was taken into custody on Friday and initially charged with third degree murder and manslaughter. Bail was set at half a million dollars. However, a private medical examiner [Dr. Michael Baden] has determined the cause of death was asphyxiation, which would pump up the third degree charge to possibly murder in the first or second degree.

Floyd was killed by Chauvin after passing a counterfeit twenty-dollar bill at a delicatessen. A video caught him kneeling on Floyd's neck while the victim begged for his life and bystanders tried to convince the rogue cop to get off of him, which he did not for eight minutes and 46 seconds. Three other cops stood by and calmly watched the killing take place.

Floyd was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Chauvin's wife, Kellie, had her own legal run-in with the law in a forgery-related incident where she wrote a bad check at a grocery store for $42.24 back in 2005. She was married to her late ex-husband at the time, Kujay Xiong, and lived in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

Letters for payment were sent to Kellie's home about the bad check but she failed to pay the amount due by July 2005, and a criminal complaint was filed against her in August. She eventually paid the money and the case was dismissed.

Ironically, Kellie and Derek met when she worked at Hennepin County Medical Center when he brought a live suspect in for a health check before an arrest. He came back to the hospital and asked her out. The irony is that this medical center is where Floyd was declared dead on Monday.

Kellie currently works as a realtor with Re/Max Results. She had two children with her first husband, who has since died.

On Thursday it was revealed that Floyd had worked with Derek Chauvin as security guards at the El Nuevo Rodeo club, the club owner confirmed.

"Chauvin was our off-duty police for almost the entirety of the 17 years that we were open," Maya Santamaria told KSTP-TV, but she didn't know if the two men knew each other as there were over 20 security guards, including off-duty officers working at the club on any given night. However, there were times when they would have been working at the same event, she explained.

According to Santamaria, Chauvin had a tendency to display anger and overreact to situations.

'He sometimes had a real short fuse and he seemed afraid,' she said.

"When there was an altercation he always resorted to pulling out his mace and pepper spraying everybody right away, even if I felt it was unwarranted."

So maybe Chauvin killed Floyd because he was afraid of letting him get up off the ground, even though he was handcuffed from behind. It's just a theory.
