Texas apparent woman indicted for attempting arson of GOP Headquarters

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — Well, folks, the "mostly peaceful" resistance brigade is at it again. A federal grand jury in San Antonio has indicted a 22-year-old New Braunfels woman for the alleged arson attack on the Comal County Republican Party Headquarters. Grace Carol Brown is charged with actual and attempted malicious damage by fire to property involved in interstate or foreign commerce.

According to the indictment, on January 14, Brown allegedly broke a window, tossed a backpack inside, failed to squeeze through the window herself like a bad cat burglar, and then decided to light a rolled-up magazine on fire and hurl it into the building. Real master criminal stuff there. She also left a note at the scene, because these revolutionaries always need to make sure the rest of us know how deep and thoughtful their tantrums are.

The note, preserved for posterity by the feds, read: “Report this: I burned down the Nazi Party of NB’s office. F**K DJT F**K ICE, Liberty or die.”

Ah yes, the classic "Liberty or die schtick . . .  but first let me commit a felony" manifesto. The backpack inside reportedly contained ethanol, gasoline, a lighter, matches, and other goodies, your standard Antifa Amazon shopping list for leftist 'patriots'.

Investigators say Brown's writings showed a deep disdain for the Comal County Republican Party, ICE, federal law enforcement, and certain Executive Branch officials she labeled "Enemies of the U.S. Constitution." 

The note also featured the Drei Pfeile symbol, the three arrows thing cooked up by the Iron Front in 1930s Germany that's now a favorite of Antifa-aligned activists and other black-bloc cosplay enthusiasts.

Brown was arrested within days. New Braunfels Police, the Fire Marshal’s Office, and the FBI handled the investigation. She's facing federal charges plus state burglary and arson counts. If convicted on the federal stuff, she could be looking at five to 20 years in prison, where she'll have plenty of time to reflect on how burning down buildings is apparently the purest form of "democracy." However, the probability of her actually serving any real "time" is about as likely as finding a kangaroo driving for Uber Eats.

U.S. Attorney Justin R. Simmons announced the indictment on Friday. Somewhere out there, a whole bunch of people who spent years screaming about "threats to democracy" are suddenly very quiet about this one.

MS Synagogue Arson Suspect Laughed While Confessing

The suspect in the arson attack on Mississippi's oldest synagogue, Beth Israel Congregation in Jackson, has confessed to setting the fire because of the building's "Jewish ties." According to the FBI affidavit, he even laughed about the act, declaring that "he finally got them." 

What a racist cretin.

The accused cretin, Stephen Spencer Pittman, targeted Beth Israel and the associated Goldring/Woldenberg Institute of Southern Jewish Life in the early hours of January 10. 

Security footage captured a man pouring what appeared to be gasoline inside the synagogue. Pittman later admitted to his father that he had committed the crime, referring to the buildings as the "synagogue of Satan." He described the details with amusement: stopping at a gas station for fuel, removing his license plate, smashing windows with an axe, dousing the interior, and igniting the blaze with a torch lighter.

A genius among cretins.

The father's intervention thankfully proved decisive. Pittman texted him beforehand, sending a photograph of the synagogue with the message "there's a furnace in the back." When his father pleaded with him to come home, the young man replied defiantly that he was "due for a home run" and that he "did my research." 

Physical evidence corroborated the confession: burns on Pittman's body [as he was just learning how to use fire] text messages, and location data placed him at the scene.

He now faces federal charges of maliciously damaging or destroying a building by means of fire or an explosive.

The destruction was severe. The library and administrative offices were heavily burned. Two Torah scrolls were destroyed entirely, and five others damaged. One of the surviving scrolls had endured the Holocaust and had been preserved in a glass case, a quiet testament to resilience now scarred once more.

This is not the first time Beth Israel has faced such hatred. In the 1960s, the Ku Klux Klan bombed the synagogue because of its courageous stand during the civil rights era. History repeats itself in the most depressing ways by the lowest functioning people in our society.

Jackson Fire Chief RaSean Thomas spoke for many when he said: "We stand with this community and affirm that hate has no home here. Jackson is stronger when we stand together."

On Monday, yellow police tape still cordoned off the entrances. Broken glass and soot marked the scene, yet people had already begun to lay flowers at the threshold, small gestures of solidarity amid the wreckage.

Beth Israel remains Mississippi's only synagogue in Jackson, and it is closed indefinitely while repairs begin.

Such attacks don't occur in isolation. Antisemitic incidents have surged dramatically in recent years, from the Tree of Life synagogue shooting in 2018 to the Bondi Beach terror attack just before Christmas. The Anti-Defamation League recorded over 9,000 documented antisemitic incidents in 2024 alone, the highest figure since tracking began in 1979.

This arson in Mississippi is another grim marker. It reveals not merely one disturbed individual, but a broader sickness: the willingness of some to target Jews precisely because they are Jews, to revel in destruction, and to frame it as some form of justice. 

The laughter in the confession is chilling, a reminder that hatred often arrives wearing a smile. Yet the congregation endures, as it has for over a century and a half, determined to rebuild and to continue bearing witness in a world that too often requires such witness.

Alleged anti-Israel arsonist accused of torching 11 NYPD cars arrested by feds: source

The feds nabbed a 21-year-old "Free Palestine" firebug, Jakhi Lodgson-McCray, on Monday after a month-long manhunt for allegedly turning a Brooklyn NYPD parking lot into a fiery graveyard of 11 squad cars, law enforcement sources told The Post. The June 12 blaze racked up a cool $800,000 in damages, and this wasn’t his first dance with chaos.

Lodgson-McCray, a repeat offender with a rap sheet screaming protest antics, strolled into federal custody and is set to face a judge later Monday, sources said. The NYPD had been hot on his trail, plastering his mug across the city and dangling a $30,000 reward for anyone who could pin him down.

"We have him on video for about 40 minutes prior to the incident. He is by himself, and, like I said, a substantial video canvass after the fact, where we track him all the way back to Manhattan," NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny said last month, painting a picture of a lone arsonist slinking through the night.

But torching cop cars wasn’t enough for this guy. Cops say Lodgson-McCray, already a known face in the protest scene, also trashed a Columbia University statue during a wild September rally. "He’s also wanted for a criminal mischief incident in Columbia University back in September, where he disguised himself as a student and caused over $1,000 of damage to a statue on the campus," Kenny said. "We believe, based on his social media, that he’s very active in the protest community, involving the Free Palestine movement."

The scumcrumpet is no stranger to cuffs. His arrest record kicks off in January 2023, with busts for resisting arrest at an anti-ICE protest and a string of other stunts, like burning a flag at a city embassy and raising hell at anti-Israel demos. Surveillance footage even caught him slipping into a bodega after allegedly setting the NYPD cars ablaze, cool as you like. Those 11 torched vehicles are going to cost taxpayers at least $800,000 to replace, the NYPD reports. Just another day in the life of New York’s protest underworld.

Fires rage in Israel by Hamassholes: National Emergency Declare

As Israel paused to honor its fallen on Yom HaZikaron, a day heavy with the memory of those who gave their lives for the Jewish state, flames tore through the Judean Hills. While Israelis mourned, some Palestinians celebrated, their voices rising on social media with vile instructions to kindle more destruction. 

This was no mere coincidence of nature—it was arson, deliberate and hateful, aimed at the heart of a nation in solemn reflection. Hamas cannot suck more.

Montana Tucker, her voice trembling with urgency, shared the grim reality: “A national state of emergency has been declared here in Israel due to the fires. Praying for everyone’s safety. ” The images she posted are a gut-punch, the kind that make you question the depths of human malice.

Marina Medvin, with characteristic clarity, reported, “Arab arsonists are starting fires all over Jerusalem. 3 have been arrested so far.” She added, “The photos and videos out of Israel are harrowing. Greece and Italy are reportedly sending fire fighters to assist.” Medvin’s follow-up was even starker: “Palestinian terrorists are calling for more arson on social media.” The evidence is there, undeniable, in screenshots that burn the eyes as much as the fires burn the land.

An Israeli mother, her words raw with anguish, asked the question that hangs over this horror:

“How do you react to a whole group of people who actually set your country on fire? And to those, easily identifiable, who support it on social media? Right suggestions only.” It’s a question that demands an answer, though the civilized world might flinch at the implications. 

The fires forced the closure of Highway 1, Israel’s lifeline, as Fire and Rescue Commissioner Eyal Caspi raised the alert to its highest level. Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar, in a desperate bid for aid, reached out to Greece, Croatia, Italy, Cyprus, and Bulgaria—help that won’t arrive before nightfall.

The perpetrators’ hatred is not subtle. Palestinians who despise Israel, branding all its citizens as “settlers,” have been explicit. Hamas, that festering sore of a terrorist group, urged its followers on Telegram to “burn whatever you can of groves, forests, and settler homes,” adding, “Youth of the West Bank, youth of Jerusalem, and those inside Israel, set their cars ablaze… Gaza awaits the revenge of the free.” 

The Jenin News Network echoed the call, inciting arson against “the groves near the settlements.” On X, the Palestinian channel “Akhbar Filastin” issued a bloodthirsty directive: “A call to the revolutionary youth and all the heroes of the West Bank.. Settlers’ homes and the surrounding areas are your target. Burn them with your Molotov cocktails and set fire to the grass near the settlement outposts.”

Israeli police have detained three suspects, per JNS, but the threat looms larger. Knesset member Zvi Sukkot warned, “As the fires spread, calls are being published on Arab networks to ‘set fire to the occupied forests and settlements,’ and there is a real concern, based on past experience, that Palestinians will attempt to set additional fires in Judea and Samaria and throughout the country.” This is not a one-off; it’s a pattern, a strategy of hate.

As Yom HaZikaron gives way to Yom Ha’Atzmaut, a day meant for celebration of Israel’s improbable survival, the festivities have been canceled. The fires, the arrests, the calls for more violence—they cast a shadow over a nation that has endured too much yet stands resolute. One cannot help but wonder: what kind of soul cheers the burning of another’s home? And what kind of world allows such hatred to fester unchecked?

Azusa, CA police arrest homeless suspect by a brushfire

Fox News reported that police and residents of Azusa, California, a small city in Los Angeles County, worked in unison Friday to prevent a suspected arsonist from allegedly carrying out his sick goal of lighting more fires. 

At least three large wildfires threaten the area as winds are expected to pick up again.

With more cops patrolling due to the wildfire emergency, Azusa Police Department Captain Robert Landeros reported that the first responding officer arrived quickly at Pioneer Park around 11:30 p.m. This followed after neighbors confronted a homeless suspect, who was still at the scene when the officer arrived.

"This was intentional," Landeros stated on Monday. "Some of the neighbors confronted him, stopped him from setting an additional fire in the park."

Video footage captured an Azusa officer handcuffing a man near a rapidly spreading brush fire, which county firefighters managed to extinguish swiftly.

The suspect, identified as 39-year-old Jose Carranza-Escobar, described as "a transient" with his last known address in Azusa, confessed to igniting the brush fire.

This arrest occurs as firefighters are tackling at least three active wildfires in Los Angeles County, which have resulted in at least 24 deaths and widespread property damage.

Carranza was detained on arson charges. Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman was scheduled to provide further details in a news briefing about Carranza and arrests related to fire-related looting later that Monday.

Landeros emphasized that Azusa police, along with partner agencies including Hochman's office, the county sheriff's office, neighboring department arson investigators, and the California National Guard, are adopting a "zero-tolerance" policy towards arson amid the conditions of high winds and a dry climate that exacerbate the wildfires across Southern California.

"Everybody’s out there," he said. "We’re watching. Even our citizens are."

He noted that the foothills near the town are considered a high-risk fire area with homeless encampments where fires have previously started.

"We're constantly conducting enforcement operations in that area," Landeros explained. "Residents are obviously on edge when there are major fires."

Forecasts predict strong winds returning to the region this week, which could intensify the ongoing fires and cause additional hazards by knocking down trees and branches that could catch fire.

"Azusa PD urges everyone to remain alert as fires continue to affect the county," Landeros said in a weekend statement. "We must be cautious of individuals who may enter our community with the intent to start fires."

Last week, another incident saw a group of Los Angeles residents intervening when they spotted a homeless man with a blowtorch. He was apprehended, but the police lacked sufficient evidence to charge him with arson.

Video from that event shows him with a torch head and a yellow fuel tank before being subdued by at least five residents who tackled him to the ground.

Upstate NY Firefighter's Death May Result in Bail Reform Law

Billy Steinberg, 37, a volunteer firefighter, responded to an unoccupied vacation home in upstate New York's Sullivan County on January 15. The blaze was allegedly set by a serial arsonist, Mohammad Islam, 32, according to local reports.

Billy was an assistant chief with the Forestburgh Fire Company when he died of an apparent heart attack, according to the US Fire Administration.

Islam is accused of breaking into the vacant home and using paper and wood, he is alleged to light the blaze that incinerated the house, as per the criminal complaint. He was charged with second-degree burglary and fourth-degree arson. 

William Steinberg died of a heart attack while responding to the fire.

Islam had previously been charged on Jan. 14 with arson and burglary for two previous fires — on Jan. 10 and on Jan. 13, according to criminal complaints, but was set free a day before the fire that Steinberg responded to and from which he died. State Senator Mike Martucci (R) from Hudson Valley, blames the death and property destruction on bail reform law.

Martucci spoke at a press conference and said that he was introducing "Billy's Law to authorize bail and pre-trial detention for all felony arson charges, as a way of keeping mentally ill arsonists from hurting anyone else before trial.

“Our state leaders should not need any more evidence that bail reform is a failed policy. Before one more innocent life is lost, action must be taken,” Martucci said. “Billy’s Law is a practical step with a broad and bipartisan consensus to address the dangerousness of repeat offenders and protect our volunteer firefighters.”

Steinberg’s father, Jim, said that “the system has failed our community, my family, and Billy,”

It also failed the vacation home owner who was an innocent party, as well as his or her insurance company that provided coverage for the home.

“At this time, my family and I are pleading to the New York State Senate and Assembly to change bail reform to protect our firefighters and the citizens of New York, so they never have to endure this type of tragedy themselves,” Steinberg said.

Assemblywoman Aileen Gunther, a Democrat from Forestburgh, said she would introduce legislation “to make sure that this never happens again.” This sounds virtuous but it's only a deterrent, not a total fix.

Islam is being held in Sullivan County jail on $100,000 bail.

5 Georgia men who torched cop car at George Floyd riots sent to the slammer

Five amigos have each been sentenced to over a year in federal prison for burning a police car in Georgia during the riots that broke out there after George Floyd died in police custody, likely from an overdose of drugs in his system.

Bruce Anthony Thompson, 23, Jesse James Smallwood, 22, Delveccho Waller, Jr., 23, Dashun Martin, 24, and Judah Coleman Bailey, 21, all of Hall County, Georgia, all pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit arson.

The police cruiser was parked outside the officer's apartment complex in Gainesville when the five miscreants torched it in the early hours of June 1, 2020.

The idiots met in downtown Gainesville before spotting the SUV. "Look, man, check it out," one of the men said to the group. "Let's cover our faces with masks and s**t and fire a flare through the window of the cop car."

So they did and the car lit up the darkness.

Almost two weeks later, the geniuses were arrested. The Atlanta Journal Constitution reported that law enforcement spotted the car belonging to Jesse James Smallwood--it matched a description of the one at the scene of the crime. Inside Smallwood's vehicle was three explosives and a flare gun.

Brilliant!

The defendants were also sentenced to three years supervised released and will have to pay the Gainesville PD over $3,600 in restitution for the vehicle.

The officer involved in Floyd's death in Minneapolis, Derek Chauvin, was sentenced to over 22 years in prison after being convicted of murdering Floyd, a known thug.

Muslima jihadi indicted at tender age of 19

A 19-year-old Minnesota Muslim woman (Muslima) who is accused of setting fires at the St. Catherine University campus, in St. Paul, was charged with terrorism Wednesday after she allegedly attempted to assist a terrorist organization last year.

Tnuza Jamal was charged in federal court for attempting to provide material support to Al Qaeda, lying to the FBI and arson. She was first arrested January 17 after she set eight fires in seven campus buildings at the school. 

Fortunately, the fires she set were rather anemic and nobody was injured nor was there much property damage, partly due to her experience with fire, and partly due to her intelligence.

She admitted to law enforcement  that she started the fires, which prosecutors say were the result of "reading about the US military destroying schools in Iraq or Afghanistan and she felt that she should do exactly the same thing," a criminal complaint read.

"Hassan said she wanted the school to burn to the ground and that her intent was to hurt people," the complaint stated. "Hassan said this was that same thing that happened in 'Muslim land' and nobody cares if they get hurt, so why not do this?"

Maybe because the kids on campus weren't involved? Maybe because there have been over 32,500 jihad attacks since 911?

The actual details of the terrorism charge is unclear but a federal statement alleged that she tried to provide support to al Qaeda in September by trying to provide the terrorist organization with "personnel."

Hassan, a former English major [a major she intended to use to obtain a job as a famous novelist] is accused of lying about writing a letter to her roommates in March, asking them "to join the jihad in fights," and to "[j]oin al-Qaeda, Taliban, or Al Shabaab," according to Fox 9.

Hassan, who is not the sharpest knife in the Eid tree "told the police and fire investigators 'You guys are lucky that I don't know how to build a bomb because I would have done that," the complaint said.

The young lady is being held at the Ramsey County Jail where she will likely demand and receive Halal food, a Koran and a prayer mat.

Texas mosque burned down; cause unknown

Victoria, Texas -- An early-morning fire has destroyed a Texas mosque. This mosque has been the target of hatred in the past but the cause is still unknown.

According to The Victoria Advocate a convenience store clerk saw smoke and flames shooting up from the Islamic Center of Victoria around 2 a.m. Saturday and called the fire department.

Battalion chief Jeff Cowan of the city's fire department said that when they and the police arrived, the mosque was completely consumed in flames. 

It took about four hours to extinguish the blaze and there were no injuries reported.

Victoria Fire Marshal Tom Legler asked for help from state and federal fire investigators to determine the cause of the fire.

Shahid Hasmi, the Islamic Center president, would not speculate as to the cause, but he said the building was burglarized a week ago. In July 2013, a man admitted to painting "H8" on the outside of the building. That's a computer shorthand for the word "hate."

The mosque has a congregation of 100 members, and is not known to be a hotbed for terrorist ideology, anti-Christian, anti-gay,  anti-American and anti-Semitic teaching.

Muslim pleads guilty to mosque arson

Houston, Texas -- When the fire was first set, it was called a "hate crime" and the Houston chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) called authorities to demand an investigation for a possible bias motive. They cited a "recent spike in hate incidents targeting mosques nationwide."

But it turned out to be a fake hate crime. 

CAIR calling itself a Muslim advocacy group is like Brian Williams calling himself a purveyor of truth. The Hamas-linked CAIR want it all to be about hate crimes against Muslims because that's how they get their influence and power in society. And it makes it harder for the rest of us to call Islam out on jihad terrorism.

Some Muslims need to see themselves as victims to justify jihad activities and use hate crimes against Muslims as a "currency to buy power and influence in our victimhood-oriented society," as Robert Spencer said. It also deflects attention away from jihad terror activities and onto the poor victims of hate crimes.

There have been many instances in which Muslims fabricated "hate crimes" that included attacks on mosques and other Muslims. In February, for example, a New Jersey Muslim was found guilty of murder that he tried to convince the jury was an act of "Islamophobia." And in 2014, a Muslim in California killed his wife and also blamed it on "Islamophobia."

But on Friday, Gary Nathaniel Moore, 38 from Houston, was sentenced to four years in prison. He pleaded guilty to torching a storefront mosque on Christmas Day last year. 

Moore, a devout Muslim, attended that very mosque for five years and prayed there five times a day, seven days a week.

Go figure.

Moore will be eligible for parole in two years.

Israel on fire--not an accident

Haifa, Israel -- Tens of thousands of Israelis are being evacuated from their homes as wildfires rage in various parts of Haifa, with a population of about 300,000. The fires are also threatening homes near Jerusalem and the West Bank.

One minister said that about half of the fires were "apparently arson," but this has not been confirmed by law enforcement.

No deaths or serious injuries have been reported but the national ambulance service say about 35 people have been treated for smoke inhalation as hundreds of military reservists have been activated to help fight the three-day outbreak.

Schools, kindergartens, retirement homes and the University were evacuated.

The Mayor of Haifa, Yonah Yahav told Channel 2 TV that there was some evidence that one of the fires began when "someone tossed a cigarette in an area full of oil and flammable fluids" in an industrial area.

Highway 443 linking Jerusalem and Tel Aviv was closed to morning traffic on Thursday after another fire reached the city of Modi'in.

About 300 students were evacuated from a school in a settlement known as Talmon, and homes and cars were damaged in the blaze.

Cyprus, Italy, Russia, Croatia and Greece have sent help and equipment, including aircraft, to help tackle the blazes.

Four Palestinians have been arrested and are to appear in court on suspicion of starting a bonfire 'negligently'.

"Almost 50% of the fires are apparently arson," Internal Security Minister Gilad Erdan told Army Radio. 

Education Minister Naftali Bennett, the leader of the Jewish Home party, Tweeted (in Hebrew): "Only those to whom the country does not belong are capable of burning it."

The Arabic-language hashtag #Israel_on_fire began trending and most of the tweets expressed pleasure and satisfaction over the outbreak of fires.

Here's a question: if being Islamophobic in America is considered to be racist, why isn't being anti-Semitic also being racist?

Anti-Muslim fire set by um, a Muslim

A little mosque on the Houston, Texas prairie was set on fire on the day celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. 

Yes, Christmas Day. A fire was set at a storefront mosque and the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) was quick to "jump-the-sword" by blaming it on "anti-Muslim sentiment." I still wonder what kind of "relations" Islam really wants to have with America.

Unfortunately for the CAIR script (that never changes) it was discovered that the fire was actually set by a fellow Muslim who attends the mosque--a 37-year-old guy named Gary Nathaniel Moore. He was arrested last Wednesday.

It seems that mosque-torching has become somewhat of a Christmas holiday tradition among Muslims as the same thing happened last year in Fresno, California. It's what they do to make the rest of us look bad by accusing us of the crime.

In the latest Islamic attempt of trying to blame it on the infidel, the Houston Chronicle reported that the Houston man was arrested on Christmas Day. 

Nicole Strong, a spokeswoman for the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (all but one of which Muslims, who take the Koran literally, are permitted to use for their jihad pleasure) confirmed the arrest of Moore early Wednesday after midnight. He appeared in court on Wednesday morning.

Moore had been attending the mosque for 5 years, and prayed the required 5 times a day, 7 days a week, day in and day out, rain or shine, hell or high water. He was a very very religious Muslim and has a zabiba (forehead callous caused from Islamic prayer) to prove it.

Surveillance video from multiple nearby businesses helped investigators identify the religious miscreant and a search warrant of his home was issued and conducted. A backpack with clothing that matched the suspect on the video was found along with two-packs of charcoal lighter fluid bottles that matched another lighter fluid bottle found at the scene of the fire. Probably not a coincidence.

Reuters "journalist" Jon Herskovitz also reported on the arson, but somehow forgot to mention that Moore was a regular attendee of the mosque. If you read what Herskovitz wrote, you will not need an emetic for a week:

"Anti-Muslim sentiment has been on the rise in the United States, stoked by recent Islamic State-related attacks in France and California and anti-Muslim statements by Republican presidential hopefuls.

"The Council on American-Islamic Relations, which tracks such incidents, said the scale of vandalism, damage and intimidation at American mosques this year is the worst in the six years it has kept records." 

It's disgusting how the mainstream media refuses to report the truth.
