With elections near, rapist of NYC jogger held without bail, for a change

The homeless New York City alleged serial rapist, who was recently accused of choking and sexually assaulting a woman jogger, was uncharacteristically held without bail during his Friday afternoon arraignment. With the New York gubernatorial election next Tuesday, the Democrats want to pretend that they are tough on crime so they're holding the [alleged] perpetrator as his victim remains hospitalized in an intensive care unit.

The known thug, Carl Phanor, 29, appeared before Judge Jonathan Svetkey and is facing an initial charge of first-degree rape and two counts of predatory sexual assault and strangulation. There are also other charges but these are the heavies. He was led into the courtroom just before 2:45 p.m. Friday, wearing a light gray hoodie sweatshirt, sweatpants and handcuffs. Except for the latter accoutrement, he appeared to get his fashion sense from John Fetterman. He tended to sway as he stood in front of the judge.

He did not enter a plea during the appearance, when Svetkey ordered him to be held without bail and to undergo a mental health assessment before his next court date on Nov. 9.

Meanwhile, the victim of Thursday's attack is being treated for bone fractures.

Prosecutors said that Phanor goes by several aliases and has demonstrated a "clear predatory pattern."

Phanor, who police said is homeless, is being represented by a court-appointed attorney. The defense attorney asked for bail to be set, and told the court that Phanor had been abandoned by his parents and needs mental health assistance. So he's the victim, not the 43-year-old jogger he allegedly injured and raped.

The suspect was taken into custody only hours after his most recent alleged attack on Thursday.

The jogger had been running along a path near West Street and Pier 45 around 5:30 a.m. Thursday when Phanor approached her from behind, according to the New York Police Department.

The man grabbed her and began choking her, causing her to partially lose consciousness, police said. He allegedly knocked her to the pavement, then took off her clothes and raped her.

He then ran off, but not before grabbing the victim's debit card, wallet, cellphone and headphones, police said.

The victim was able to get the attention of another jogger, who called the police. She was taken to a local hospital for treatment and evaluation.

Gabrielle Sumkin, who identified herself as the passerby who called police, told the New York Post she had spotted the woman with torn, dirty-looking clothes and no shoes.

"She was just wearing one sock," Sumkin told the Post, adding that the woman was holding her eye. "This woman seemed like she was legitimately very hurt, and it was clear that something had happened to her."

Sumkin reportedly recalled the woman saying, "I need help."

Police said later on the same day of the incident that Phanor was also wanted for two prior incidents: one from October and another from March.

A 48-year-old woman had been walking along the FDR Drive service road, near East 37th Street in Manhattan, around 5 a.m. on Oct. 6 when Phanor allegedly approached her from behind and choked her, police said.

He then ripped her pants as he tried to rape her, but the woman fought back, police said. Phanor allegedly stole her wallet and cell phone before he fled the scene on a bicycle.

Police said he later tried using the victim’s credit card at a nearby smoke shop.

And months earlier, on March 27, a 39-year-old woman had been jogging in the area of Pier 40, just blocks away from the scene of the November attack, when Phanor approached her on a bike, cops said.

Phanor allegedly "pushed the victim to the ground and began to choke the victim," the NYPD said.

He then sexually assaulted her and stole her cell phone before fleeing on the bicycle, police said.

In all, Phanor was charged with first-degree rape, two counts each of predatory sexual assault, two counts of strangulation, two counts of robbery and a single count of a first-degree criminal sex act, court records show.

NYC: No bail outta jail McDonald's ax-wielder arrested again, no bail and out again

Michael Palacios, 31, was arrested and released without bail last month after pulling out an ax and smashing up a McDonald's in New York City, terrorizing the diners and destroying the interior of the fine establishment. He was arrested and before the ink dried on the police report, he was back out on the street as the Big Apple's bail reform allowed him to walk.

On Sunday evening Mr. Palacios was approached by New York's Finest after he was seen spraying graffiti in Brooklyn. So he grabbed a high-end bike from a nearby coffee shop [where the unsuspecting bike owner was likely drinking a $10 frappadappachino mocha deNiro with whipped cream and caramel] and tried to outpace the cops before he was caught and arrested, the New York Post reported.

The two-wheeler he used for his attempted escape, valued at $3,500, was damaged. According to police, Palacios was in possession of graffiti paraphernalia when he was arrested, and he is also a suspect in another graffiti incident in Queens back in June.

The pimple on the butt of society was charged with grand larceny, two counts of criminal mischief, possession of stolen property, making graffiti, and possession of graffiti instruments. In addition, the miscreant was charged with the graffiti incident in June.

Due to the severity of the charges, Palacios was released without bail on Monday after the ink dried on the police report.

NYC coward charged in subway hammer attack has rap sheet decades long

A New York City thug is facing attempted murder, robbery, and assault charges for an alleged cowardly attack of a woman on the stairs of a Queens subway station on Thursday.

William Blount, 57, was caught on video sneaking up behind an elderly woman, using a hammer to strike her on the head multiple times, and tried to kick her down the stairs. 

He was arrested Sunday and his address was listed at a former hotel that was transformed into a homeless shelter at the start of the dreaded coronavirus scourge that started in a lab in China.

It was discovered that Blount had been arrested four times in New York City on charges of robbery, illicit drug possession, burglary and larceny between 1983 and 1993. But at least he didn't vote for Donald Trump, city officials said.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams put the minds of New Yorkers at ease when he verbally condemned the attack on the woman, Dr. Nina Rothschild, a research scientist at the Department of Health.

"Violence against any New Yorker is unacceptable but an attack of a city worker who has dedicated her work to keeping people safe is particularly horrific," Adams tweeted on Friday and receiving several "likes" and "retweets," which indicates that some people read his heartfelt tweets.

Dr. Rothschild, 57, suffered a fractured skull, a brain bleed, and several head wounds and is in critical, but stable condition, according to reports. 

Crime in the subways of New York City has increased over 75 percent from January 2021 to this past January, according to NYPD statistics, and it appears that with bail reform, this may be the start of something big.

Adams unveiled a "Subway Safety Plan" last week, which will deploy joint response teams throughout the subway system to offer direct support to the homeless as opposed to the potential victims of the homeless and other miscreants.

"I hear it every time I’m on the subway system – people tell me about their fear of using the system, and we’re going to ensure that fear is not New York’s reality," Adams said about the plan, which may involve hypnosis and anti-anxiety medication for subway riders.

Soros has ties to group that bailed out suspect in shooting of Jewish mayoral candidate

Brown evidently learned his marksmanship from Stevie Wonder because, while he was at point blank range, he only grazed the target's sweater.

So Brown was arrested and bail was set at $100,000 for his attempted murder arrest, for which he was charged. But he was bailed out on Wednesday by the Louisville Community Bail Fund, a project run by Black Lives Matter Louisville, an anti-Semitic arm of the national BLM.

The Louisville Community Fund is also “fiscally sponsored” by the Alliance for Global Justice, which is tied to billionaire George Soros, a far-left schmuck dead set on destroying the inner fabric of the United States and all capitalist nations. He has, for example, supported the Defund the Police movement and was very possibly the person who supplied the pallets of throwing bricks used by BLM and Antifa at the riots in major American cities.

The police said that Brown entered Greenberg's office and opened fire on February 14. There were five people in the room and he missed all of them and got Greenberg's sweater.

Brown pleaded not guilty to four counts of wanton endangerment and attempted murder at his arraignment on Tuesday. He was released the next day on bond and house arrest, and if you're not pissed, you're not paying attention.

“Our criminal justice system is clearly broken,” Greenberg said in a statement. The word "broken" is a lazy way of not looking at the problems that exist and simply generalizing with one word. Our criminal justice system is selective, bias, and one might even say racist in favor of "oppressed minorities."

Greenberg went on: “It is nearly impossible to believe that someone can attempt murder on Monday and walk out of jail on Wednesday.”

“It’s unfortunate Mr. Brown has been bailed out of jail, due to his propensity to violence,” Louisville Metro Council President David James said in a statement to WLKY. “I think it’s irresponsible and I hope those who contributed to posting this bond are prepared to be held accountable if Mr. Brown injures someone while out.”

Though the bail fund is based in Louisville and is meant for the local community, it has received major financial backing from some powerful national and global left-wing groups, according to National Review.

Upstate NY Firefighter's Death May Result in Bail Reform Law

Billy Steinberg, 37, a volunteer firefighter, responded to an unoccupied vacation home in upstate New York's Sullivan County on January 15. The blaze was allegedly set by a serial arsonist, Mohammad Islam, 32, according to local reports.

Billy was an assistant chief with the Forestburgh Fire Company when he died of an apparent heart attack, according to the US Fire Administration.

Islam is accused of breaking into the vacant home and using paper and wood, he is alleged to light the blaze that incinerated the house, as per the criminal complaint. He was charged with second-degree burglary and fourth-degree arson. 

William Steinberg died of a heart attack while responding to the fire.

Islam had previously been charged on Jan. 14 with arson and burglary for two previous fires — on Jan. 10 and on Jan. 13, according to criminal complaints, but was set free a day before the fire that Steinberg responded to and from which he died. State Senator Mike Martucci (R) from Hudson Valley, blames the death and property destruction on bail reform law.

Martucci spoke at a press conference and said that he was introducing "Billy's Law to authorize bail and pre-trial detention for all felony arson charges, as a way of keeping mentally ill arsonists from hurting anyone else before trial.

“Our state leaders should not need any more evidence that bail reform is a failed policy. Before one more innocent life is lost, action must be taken,” Martucci said. “Billy’s Law is a practical step with a broad and bipartisan consensus to address the dangerousness of repeat offenders and protect our volunteer firefighters.”

Steinberg’s father, Jim, said that “the system has failed our community, my family, and Billy,”

It also failed the vacation home owner who was an innocent party, as well as his or her insurance company that provided coverage for the home.

“At this time, my family and I are pleading to the New York State Senate and Assembly to change bail reform to protect our firefighters and the citizens of New York, so they never have to endure this type of tragedy themselves,” Steinberg said.

Assemblywoman Aileen Gunther, a Democrat from Forestburgh, said she would introduce legislation “to make sure that this never happens again.” This sounds virtuous but it's only a deterrent, not a total fix.

Milwaukee cop shooting suspect was out on bond

A member of the victim class and a suspect in the Thursday shooting of a Milwaukee Police Officer had a number of felony cases and an active warrant out against him, at the time he allegedly shot MPD Officer Herbert Davis, 26.

The alleged shooter, Jetrin Rodthong, 23, is charged with resisting or obstructing officers, bail jumping, driving or operating a vehicle without the owner's consent [aka stealing the freaking car], and drug possession, along with a few side dishes thrown in for flavor. He had been released on bond because our society is screwed up.

Officer Davis was hospitalized after being shot and has since been released.

"As much as we help the community, they’ll help us as well. It really means a lot," Davis said after he was released Friday, according to FOX 6 Milwaukee. "You expect that from your brothers and sisters, but you don’t know what you’re getting in certain situations."

Davis was responding to reports of an injured or sick person Thursday on the 2100 block of W. St. Paul Avenue. He arrived at the location to discover a person slumped over in a vehicle, a press release states.

Once Davis approached the individual later identified as Rodthong, the suspect allegedly attempted to flee the vehicle and exchanged gunfire with Davis.

Rodthong then apparently wanting to become a police officer one day, entered Davis' police vehicle, used the car to flee the scene, crashed into another motorist and attempted to evade officers on foot. Officers eventually caught up to him and apprehended him without incident.

Thankfully, Rodthong is not black so Antifa and BLM were elsewhere ruining other communities.

Davis, Rodthong and the driver of the vehicle Rodthong crashed into were transported to a hospital for treatment. Sadly, Rodthong has also been released with non-life-threatening injuries.

"The Milwaukee Police Department would like to thank the community members that stopped and remained at scene to help our wounded officer," MPD said in the press release. "We would also like to thank the Milwaukee Fire Department for providing prompt medical attention to our officer."

The MPD is leading an investigation into the case along with a load of other cases of violence against police officers. It's the latest trend sweeping the nation.

On Wednesday, a Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Deputy was shot multiple times by a fleeing suspect. On Jan. 21, two New York Police Department officers, Rivera and Mora, were fatally shot while responding to a domestic dispute. Two days later, Harris County Precinct 5 Corporal Charles Galloway was fatally shot during a traffic stop in Houston. Four days after that, three Houston officers were shot and wounded while pursuing a suspect.

And then we saw Jacqueline Guzman, a former actress in New York City, complain about the memorial of Officer Rivera that had a "Sea of Blue" attend the memorial along the city's Fifth Avenue. She was fired from her acting job before ever getting the chance to be someone else.

Milwaukee recorded 23 murders — a 155% increase compared to nine homicides recorded during the same period last year — as of Monday, according to the medical examiner.

Arrested for assault, set free, then allegedly beats 2 random NYC women, set free again

A poor homeless 23-year-old man named Darrell Johnson is a victim of the system, but with New York City bail reform, he no longer is incarcerated and is free to live his life as he sees fit because of his victimhood status.

Mr. Johnson was charged last year of beating a man last year and under the old, inhumane ways, would have spent significant time locked up in a cage with nothing but a steel toilet, an aluminum mirror, and "three hots and a cot." But thanks to the Democrats and their humane treatment of Johnson and others in similar situations, he was free to go.

Then he allegedly attacked and violently assaulted two women in the Upper West Side of Manhattan on Thursday. One of the women was beaten so badly she suffered a "disfiguring laceration" to her face, according to law enforcement sources. [H/T The New York Post]

So Johnson was set free again because when bail is free, you're free to go.

Johnson has over a dozen arrests since 2014. Last year, on August 3rd, the poor guy was hit with assault and harassment charges just because he allegedly beat the crap out of a guy, punching him “about the face with a closed fist multiple times” in a Harlem building, according to a court complaint.

Johnson then allegedly “used his feet to kick and stomp” the man in the attack.

Maybe the guy deserved it. 

But Johnson was released without bail because none of the charges were severe enough to be eligible for restriction under the revamped state laws. Had he protested along with the others on January 6th, he'd still be in the slammer. However, it's likely that Johnson is not very political and certainly not a Trump supporter, so there you have it.

With last year's case still pending, our Mr. Johnson was back out on the mean streets of New York City where he allegedly approached a 50-year-old woman at Broadway and West 79th Street in Manhattan around 9:20 a.m. Thursday and assaulted her in a “violent, unprovoked” attack, sources reported. This was the women with the disfiguring facial laceration previously mentioned.

Johnson waited a full three minutes later when he allegedly assaulted another woman just one block away. The court records show that he allegedly walked up to the 32-year-old victim on West 80th Street and began punching her in the face. She was taken to St. Luke's Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

In court on Friday, Manhattan prosecutors waved a finger at the young man and recommended he be released under [pretend] supervised monitoring. The judge granted the request and Johnson is currently back out on the streets, angry and misogynistic. 

A woke representative for the DA’s office said the charges were not harsh enough to allow the judge to order Johnson held on bail. Had Johnson actually killed even one of the women or men, or hurt a family member of the judge or DA, well that would be a different story.

We now live in a society where the lives of victims have less value than those of felons, and the people who make those laws that protect them are never themselves affected by their decisions.

Waukesha murder suspect upset that he's being "dehumanized"

The 39-year-old racist black male who allegedly rammed a red SUV into white children and elderly white women at a Christmas parade in Waukesha, Wisconsin in November, is upset with people who don't like him and thus treat him as if he is a piece of human excrement crawling with maggots. 

Imagine that.

This turd killed six people and injured dozens more and he wants us to speak nicer about him, whining to Fox News that was being “dehumanized” and “demonized.” Boo freaking hoo.

The report described the suspect as "soft-spoken" appearing "calm, lucid and and took time to answer each question.”  That's wonderful because he probably will not be able to claim temporary insanity, and, along with his history of anti-white, anti-Semitic rhetoric, that defense is gone. 

The reporters were the first people to visit the racist scum since he was taken into custody following the massacre of innocent folks. Even his mother didn't come to see him but she did release a statement that blamed Wisconsin's criminal justice system for failing her son!

The only failure of the Wisconsin criminal justice system is that they should have never let him loose on such a pittance of bail requirement. He was released on a mere $1,000 bail a few days before the attack, in which officials are now admitting was an "inappropriately low" amount.

The suspect is a felon with a rap sheet depicting domestic violence, drug convictions, domestic violence and other convictions in Wisconsin and he is also a registered child sex offender in Nevada. He served prison time in Georgia for beating his girlfriend, records show, and overall, he is a scumbag who needs to be put away because the public hasn't "dehumanized" him or "demonized" him--the. dickwad did it to himself.

After the deaths and injuries of the innocent, the saddest part of this story is the fact that Wisconsin doesn't have the death penalty.

Local media reported that the records from the court hearing where the suspect was released no longer exist due to “technical issues,” like similar technical issues with Hunter Biden's laptop.

Heavy.com, a fact-finding website, and other various journalists online, provided posts the suspect allegedly had on social media accounts. The posts express anti-Christian sentiment, hatred for Republican politicians and conservative media, and “black nationalist rhetoric.”

Is it any wonder the story has all but disappeared on the mainstream media?

Texas: recently released black career criminal fatally stabs white 80-year-old grandma

If the races were reversed, this would be a huge CNN, MSNBC, ABC etc., story. But the Texas career scumcrumpet who was recently released from prison was black. The guy had nearly 70 prior arrests and is accused of fatally stabbing an 80-year-old woman in broad daylight as she was out shopping.

The scumbag, 38-year-old whose name will not be mentioned here, was shot and killed by a responding officer who was flagged down by witnesses at the scene. Police said the man was armed with the 6-inch blade. Sadly, he wasn't stabbed in the chest by police and left to die as he did to Rosalie Cook after shopping at her local Walgreens in Houston.

Ms. Cook was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

The incident caused outrage from the Houston Police Officers' Union, which blamed the "total failure" of criminal justice reform for his release weeks earlier -- without paying bail.

Her son, Chuck Cook, said his mother was a “perfect” grandma to six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. “Nobody should have to go through this, an 80-year-old woman, disabled, had to walk with a cane,” Rosalie's son said.

The cops were already in the area after receiving calls around 10:15 a.m. about a man matching the stabber's description who was demanding money from shoppers at knifepoint at a nearby grocery store.

Two years ago, the perp was charged with assaulting a public servant -- breaking the person’s nose -- while being transferred to county jail, KHOU reported. Overall, he had been arrested 67 times and faced dozens of charges throughout his career as douche nozzle scum. The charges included assault, theft, trespassing, possession of marijuana, and burglary of a vehicle, according to the Houston Police Officers' Union.

“Rxxxx Lxxxx should never have been free. Now an innocent woman has been murdered. Everyone deserves better. This is absolutely shameful,” the Houston Police Officers' Union tweeted Monday, sharing his public record.

In response to the tweet, union president Joe Gamaldi tweeted, “The monster who stabbed, murdered, robbed an innocent 80 yr old grandmother over the weekend, has been arrested 67 times! And was out on 2 felony PR bonds! The colossal failure of bail and CJ reform in Houston is on full display here. Innocent people are dying. This has to STOP!!

A mental examination conducted in October 2019 deemed the crap weasel “temporarily incompetent,” and he was committed to a psychiatric hospital, KTRK reported. In March, a judge approved a request from the head of the mental facility that his stay be extended by 60 days.

On April 30, a judge waived two bonds -- one for felony theft, the second for the assault on the peace officer – and approved his transfer to a private residential care facility. By May 1, he was released to the Royal Personal Care Home. He escaped before Saturday’s incident, but few details were released by authorities.

“The defendant had a history of mental illness and he should have been kept off the streets. He recently absconded from the personal-care facility where the judge ordered he live instead of being held in jail,” the Houston District Attorney’s Office said in a statement.

“The judge had not issued a warrant for his arrest even when he had absconded, so police did not even know to look for him and unfortunately this tragedy occurred before he could be returned to court.”

The judge evidently sucks or is incompetent, or both. Needless to say, if he purposely refused to issue a warrant, he needs to be removed from the bench and apologize profusely to Ms. Cook's family.

“Where’s the outrage when our cops are putting their lives on the line arresting the same person time and again who’s got a violent history,” Houston Police Chief Art Acevedo told KHOU.

Body camera footage is being reviewed of the take-down of the perp. The cop that shot him is a nine year veteran.
