Another cop awakens BLM

A Chicago police officer (whose melanin quantity has not been disclosed) shot and killed a man and woman while responding to a domestic disturbance call on Saturday. The location of the scene was on the city's West Side.

One victim, Quintonio Legrier, 19, was pronounced deat at 4:51 a.m. and Bettie Jones, 55, and a neighbor of Legrier and a mother of 5, died at 5:14 a.m. at another hospital.

Autopsies are awaiting scheduling, the ME's spokesperson Becky Schlikerman said.

The shootings occurred around 4:25 a.m. when police responded to the call. They "were confronted by a combative subject," the Chicago Police Department said in a statement.

Legrier's mother, Janet Cooksey, told the Chicago Tribune that her son studied engineering at Northern Illinois State and that he "was going somewhere." She revealed that her son had mental issues and said that her son "didn't have a gun. He had a bat."

So that made it wrong to shoot him because bats aren't guns.

Well, according to a Breitbart.com report, in 2011 "there was 323 murders committed with a rifle but 496 murders committed with hammers and clubs."

The truth is, we weren't there to see what really happened but it seems that our new "default" position is to blame the cops and not the attackers. In fact, the Associated Press pressed the Chicago PD for more information but received no response. It is unclear if either Legrier or Jones were armed or if there is any video of the incident.

Ms. Cooksey said she wants Mayor Rahm Emanuel to provide her with a personal apology, but she may need to take a number and get in line. "Are we gonna get protected or is the police just gonna keep taking lives?" Cooksey said. "I mean, whose gonna answer these questions?" she asked.

Right now the Chicago PD is under a federal civil rights investigation regarding the video that was recently released showing a melanin challenged officer, Jason Van Dyke, shooting a 17-year-old black person, Laquan McDonald, 16 times in 2014. The video seems very damning but let's not have a knee-jerk reaction to every case that comes into the public view. I'm not saying the police are innocent in this case, but I am not willing to condemn the people who protect us ever day.

I hope this terrible incident doesn't lead to more violence and public unrest and destruction of property. That would be the fault of George Soros.
