Pittsburgh's Jewish Dems see Trump as a better option after Harris kisses up to anti-Israel/anti-Semitic politicians in PA

PITTSBURGH – The Jewish community in Pittsburgh is sending a strong message to the Harris-Walz campaign as the election nears: continue to align with those who oppose Israel, and expect to lose votes from Jewish Democrats.

The controversy began when the Harris campaign invited speakers to their rallies who attributed the October 7 attacks, which resulted in 1,400 Israeli civilian deaths, to Israel itself, despite the Jewish community's explicit objections.

"These pleas were ignored," a source involved in the discussions told The Post. The campaign proceeded to feature Pittsburgh Mayor Ed Gainey and Allegheny County Executive Sara Innamorato, both of whom have been criticized for implying, alongside Rep. Summer Lee, that the violence wasn't initiated by Hamas on October 7.

"The violence did not start on October 7th." - A statement co-signed by Gainey and Innamorato.
This statement, issued on the anniversary of the attacks, drew immediate backlash from Jewish leaders in Pittsburgh, where a significant portion of Pennsylvania's Jewish population resides and is ready to vote.

With such votes at stake, the Democratic Party's association with anti-Israel figures might cost them Pennsylvania's 19 electoral votes, potentially deciding the 2024 presidential election in favor of Donald Trump.

This scenario isn't far-fetched. Several Jewish Democrats in Pittsburgh have voiced feelings of betrayal by their party, contemplating voting for Trump instead.

Aviva Lubowsky, a mother of two, while not switching her vote, highlighted the risk:

"If the Democratic Party wants to retain its Jewish voter base, they have to eschew and denounce extremists in the party," she said. "The rhetoric they are using is dangerous for the safety of my children. It’s causing people who would otherwise vote for [Harris], to vote for Trump."
Jennifer Murtazashvili, a Jewish political scientist, noted the broader shift:

"The mainstream progressive left has a major problem on its hands," she remarked, indicating that many in her circles are leaning towards Trump due to doubts about Harris' commitment to Israel and fighting anti-Semitism.

The discontent is palpable, with a significant portion of Jewish voters showing less enthusiasm for Democrats than at any time since the Reagan years.

A Jewish Democratic voter expressed the community's frustration:

"There are undecided voters in the Jewish community where I never thought they’d be," he said, mentioning encounters at holiday services where traditional Democrats are now unsure.
The sentiment was echoed by another voter considering Trump:

Summer Lee

"They obviously understood how dangerous it would be for Summer to be there," she criticized the campaign's strategy, pointing to the careful navigation around Rep. Lee's involvement.
The fear of a Harris administration not adequately preventing Iran from nuclear capability was also a significant concern driving some towards Trump.

These issues resonate deeply in Pittsburgh, where the memory of the 2018 Tree of Life synagogue shooting, the deadliest antisemitic attack in U.S. history, lingers, alongside recent attacks on Jewish students.

Despite this, some like Audrey Glickman, a survivor of the Tree of Life tragedy, still support Harris:

"Kamala Harris is not a Squad member. She’s been to Pittsburgh more than once and talked to us more than once and has worked on antisemitism as an issue," Glickman defended Harris, expressing disappointment in the local leaders' rhetoric.
However, for others like Lubowsky, who still wishes for Harris to win, the Democratic Party must act to reclaim support:

"I have never voted for a Republican in my entire life. I will be for the first time this election," Lubowsky declared, planning to vote for Republican James Hayes in the local election.
This election cycle reveals a historic shift, with American liberal Jews feeling politically homeless.

Pittsburgh synagogue mass shooter gets his sentence for nation's "worst anti-Semitic attack"

The Jew-hating coward who stormed a synagogue in the center of Pittsburgh's Jewish community and began shooting worshippers, killing 11, and wounded 2 congregants and 5 police officers, in the deadliest anti-Semitic attack in the country's history, will be sentenced to death. Sadly, when it finally happens, perhaps in twenty years or so, the scumbag will be given a painless, lethal injection. At least they say it's painless, but I hope they're wrong.

The shooter, who will remain unnamed, is a white supremacist who has spewed Jew hatred online before he initiated the attack on the Tree of Life Synagogue in 2018.

Members of three congregations had gathered for Sabbath worship and study on the day of the carnage.

The shooter is a former truck driver from Baldwin. He was convicted on 63 criminal counts and the jury on Wednesday recommended that he be put to death for the attack.

He showed little reaction as the sentence was announced, briefly acknowledging his legal team and family as he was led from the courtroom. A judge will formally impose the sentence later.

Jurors were unanimous in finding that the shooter's attack was motivated by his anti-Semitism, and that he chose Tree of Life for its location in one the largest and most historic Jewish communities in the U.S. so that he could “maximize the devastation, amplify the harm of his crimes, and instill fear within the local, national, and international Jewish communities.”

They also found that he lacked remorse and has a brain the size of a split pea.

The family of 97-year-old Rose Mallinger, who was killed in the attack, and her daughter, Andrea Wedner, who was shot and wounded, thanked the jurors and said “a measure of justice has been served.”

“Returning a sentence of death is not a decision that comes easy, but we must hold accountable those who wish to commit such terrible acts of antisemitism, hate, and violence,” the family said in a written statement.

The shooter's lead defense attorney, Judy Clarke, declined comment because she's bright enough to know better.

The verdict came after a long trial as jurors heard the details of how the shooter reloaded at least twice as he cowardly shot the unarmed Jews. He surrendered only after he ran out of ammunition.

Now the wait begins as the process of executing a murdering piece of human excrement sits on death row, probably for years and millions in attorney's fees, before they put his lights out.

And where there is never a shortage of anti-Semitism in the world, this garbage heap of a man will be lauded in prison by sympathetic skinheads and other Jew haters.

Pittsburgh Synagogue Murderer Eligible for One-Way Ticket to Hades: jury decides

The scum weasel who entered the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh and murdered 11 people almost five years ago has been determined to be a good candidate for the death penalty, a federal grand jury announced Thursday.

Prosecutors were seeking the death penalty and the jury agreed that the human excrement whose name will not be revealed, planned his attack for six months and said that he wished he could have killed more Jews. The cowardly shooting of unarmed individuals is the deadliest anti-Semitic attack in U.S. history.

The coward was found guilty in June of all 63 counts he faced, including 11 counts of obstructing the free exercise of religious beliefs resulting in death and 11 counts of hate crimes resulting in death. Sadly, this piece of excrement can only be executed once.

The verdict was read in front of survivors and victims' family members, after about two hours of deliberations

“It has been nearly five years since 11 people were taken from us. They were beloved and valued family members, friends and neighbors. They cannot speak for themselves, and so their family members will speak for them,” Maggie Feinstein said. She is the director of 10.27 Healing Partnership, a program dedicated to helping survivors of the shooting and those affected by the cowardly attack.

Attorneys representing the shooter asked for a life sentence if he pleaded guilty, but prosecutors, with the support of most of the victims’ families, refused and took the case to trial to pursue the death penalty. The bastard’s lawyers also argued that he was impaired by mental illness and a “delusional belief system took over his thinking,” dictating that he had to kill Jews to stop a genocide of white people, the AP reported.

Evidently, the jury didn't buy it.

We can agree that Hitler was also mentally ill, but he sure as hell deserved to die.

The coward killed 11 people on October 27, 2018 and wounded two other worshipers and five cops.

This was not "gun violence," as the Left likes to label these attacks. The guns were just tools in the hands of a racist POS and could have just as easily been a car being used as a weapon. Had anyone in the congregation been armed, lives would have been saved. But you know the Left is going to make it a political issue.

Jurors are now going to hear the horrific details of how the shooter inflicted pain and trauma on his Jewish victims before they decide if his crime will ultimately result in capital punishment. After hearing arguments from the prosecution and the defense, including possible pleas from the shooter’s family members, the jury must be in unanimous agreement for the death penalty to be carried out.

There is really no doubt that this is the person who did the killings. Now it's up to a jury to decide his fate. If he gets a life sentence, he will undoubtedly meet and be greeted by a handful of like-minded neo-Nazis in prison who will shake his greasy hand.

Trial of Pittsburgh synagogue shooter that left 11 worshippers dead has reached a verdict

In October 2018, an anti-Semitic coward entered the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh and began shooting unarmed Jews, killing 11 in one of the deadliest and cowardly anti-Semitic attacks on US soil. In addition, five police officers and two other individuals were injured.

The shooter, 50, whose name will not be mentioned here, was tried on 63 counts, including hate crimes resulting in death and obstructing the free exercise of religion resulting in death.

The jury deliberated for merely a few hours following closing arguments on Thursday.

The coward initially offered a guilty plea in exchange for a life sentence, as opposed to the death sentences he meted out to the congregants, but federal prosecutors turned him down.

So now jurors need to decide whether the shooter should receive a death sentence of get life in prison without the possibility of parole. Personally, I'd go for curtain number one, because there are enough skinhead cretins in prison to see this piece of human excrement as a hero.

The shooter's lawyers said he was diagnosed with schizophrenia and structural brain impairments. But he was able to maintain a job as a truck driver and understood his actions at the time of his slaughtering of unarmed Jewish congregants.

In a pretrial filing, prosecutors said that the shooter “harbored deep, murderous animosity towards all Jewish people.”

Pennsylvania man arrested for allegedly shooting at city environmental workers

Pittsburgh, PA -- police arrested Henry Rainey, 37, at the end of last month for allegedly firing a long rifle at a pair of city workers. He was apprehended at his home May 31 and is charged with two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of reckless endangering and one count of criminal mischief for the May 23 shooting.

Rainey had been awaiting his preliminary court date.

"He had a black long rifle with him. He had some words with the refuse workers, aimed the weapon at them and started firing," Police Sgt. William Watts told Pittsburgh's Action News 4. "The refuse workers hid behind the truck. No one was hit, there were no injuries but the truck was disabled due to the damage to the gunfire."

The city's Environmental Services truck was struck by bullets, but the workers did not sustain injuries, according to investigators.

The shooting took place outside the home of Rainey's woman friend. Police executed a search warrant for the home and found a scary AR-15 semi-automatic rifle, ammunition and items giving law enforcement leads on the shooter's identity.

These are not gun problems--they're social problems such as absentee fathers, the culture, and mental health. And let's face it--the media and Hollywood only make matters worse.

Mass shooting in Pittsburgh: 2 dead, 11 injured

Some violent guns began shooting in people's hands in Pittsburgh, PA.

The guns began shooting during a house party around East Ohio Street and Madison Avenue at about 1:00am on Sunday. There were said to be around 200 people at the house, according to local reporters, which, by any. standard, is a big party.

Two people were shot and killed and 11 other individuals suffered injuries and are being treated at local hospitals.

The investigation is ongoing in the North Side neighborhood known by locals as Deutschtown, which is German-English for Germantown. However, information has not been released as to whether the victims or the guns were German.
