Anti-Gun SCOTUS's bodyguards shoot would-be carjacker outside her home

A pair of deputy US Marshals shot a wannabe carjacker who pulled a gun on them while they were guarding the home of Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor in Washington, DC. She has no problem with her bodyguards being armed, but not so much for the little people like us.

Anyway, the marshals were parked outside Sotomayors home in northwest DC on July 5th when a nice young felon named Kentrell Flowers, 18, walked up to one of their cars around 1:15 a.m. The young man pointed a gun at one of the federal agents, the US Marshals Service reported.

Surprise! One of the agents drew his weapon and fired several rounds at young Flowers, while a second officer also began firing at the suspect.

Lucky for the young man, the US Marshals weren't the best shots on the block and Flowers was taken to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Sotomayor was not at home when the incident occurred.

Metropolitan Police detectives are investigating the shooting, and recovered a semi-automatic handgun from the scene. The suspect's firearm was recovered at the scene.

“The Deputy US Marshals involved in the shooting incident were part of the unit protecting the residences of U.S. Supreme Court justices,” the US Marshals office said in a statement.

The young Flowers was charged with armed carjacking, carrying a pistol without a license, and possession of a large capacity magazine. So even if Sotomayor's call for crazy-strict gun laws, this would have done nothing to stop the crime.

Sotomayor's 'Hood'

The US Marshals office and Metropolitan Police Department declined to elaborate further on the case, which remains under investigation. Yet another in the latest series of high profile carjackings of federal agents and VIPs in Washington, DC.

Last year, Secret Service agents assigned to President Biden’s granddaughter, Naomi, opened fire on a group of people attempting to break into an unmarked Secret Service car.

Officials said the agents found three people attempting to enter the parked car at Naomi’s Georgetown neighborhood just before midnight on Nov. 12.

In January, former Trump administration official Mike Gill was fatally wounded by a carjacker as he sat in his vehicle on K Street at about 5.

But have no fear. Hunter Biden promises to get to the bottom of this while he is in charge.

Carjacking suspect receives his karma from the car he was carjacking

Chicago -- An [alleged] incompetent carjacking suspect painfully discovered the reason why we have a Second Amendment in the U.S. Constitution. He is now in critical condition after being shot by the owner of the vehicle he attempted to steal.

Police report that about 1:30 a.m. on Monday, a man sat in his car when a carjacker [allegedly] began firing his gun at him, as WBBM-TV reported.

And then the [alleged] carjacker got the surprise of his life--possibly the last surprise of his life--when the 45-year-old owner of the vehicle began returning fire with his concealed carry licensed handgun.

The incompetent carjacker also wasn't as accurate with a gun as the man he intended to shoot because he was shot in the chest and was taken to Loyola Hospital where he is listed in critical condition.

The intended victim was not injured and the incompetent carjacker's gun was found at the scene of the incident.

Police are still investigating the incident and view it as an attempted carjacking.

Feel good story of the day: carjacker gets his karma good and hard

San Antonio, Texas -- a Texas grandmother, Shirlene Hernandez, 72, was walking into a gas station last Tuesday morning to buy a can of soda when a scumbag grabbed her car keys and mercilessly beat on her, hitting her repeatedly in the face, according to WBRC.

Three good men came to her aid but the scumbag had stolen her vehicle and was off "in a frenzy" the report stated.

But the scumbag's joyride came to a tragic end. He was found to be as dead as roadkill on a nearby highway soon after he had stolen Ms. Hernandez's car. The car was totaled and so was he.

“There’s a lot of people who would say what goes around comes around, karma. I did not think that; the only thing I got (was) really sad because he had died,” Hernandez graciously said.

“Now granted, he had hurt me, but the Lord saw fit to take him out of his misery.”

What comes around, crashes and burns.

Ms. Hernandez will recover from the beating she took but unfortunately, she is unable to work without her car, according to the article.

But there's an even happier ending: an online fundraiser raised nearly $28,000 by Tuesday night and had gone over the set goal by nearly 600 percent.

The carjacker leaves behind a pair of sneakers, soiled underwear, and pie.

The Crreative News Network gets slapped for calling D.C. carjacking death an "accident"

Washington, D.C., -- The Creative News Network (CNN) reframed a botched carjacking in which two teenage girls used a taser on a Uber Eats driver but that resulted in a serious vehicle accident that caused his death.

Rather than calling the incident what it was, a carjacking, they referred to the driver Mohammad Anwar's death merely as an "accident."

The reason CNN apparently left out the important detail about what caused the "accident," might have something to do with the fact that the girls are Black. In fact, carjackings among young people in Washington, D.C., has increased significantly of late, and most have been committed by young Black men.

The fake news network received a butt-load of backlash over the weekend as a result of their selective methods of reporting what police called "felony murder" as an accident.

The girls — ages 13 and 15 — were charged with felony murder. Police officials say they attacked Anwar with a stun gun during the attempted carjacking, the car later crashed, flipped on its side, and Anwar died from his injuries after being thrown from the vehicle. The girls, for their part, were more interesting in what happened to their respective cellphones in the accident, not so much what happened to Anwar, 66, who came to the U.S. in 2014 to create a better life for his family.

The enhanced murder charges against the teens stem from a legal doctrine that "allows a killing that occurs in the course of a dangerous felony, even an accidental death, to be charged against the felon as first-degree murder," according to Nolo's Plain-English Law Dictionary.

Video of the carjacking incident made the rounds on social media. It shows the event in progress as the car speeds off with Anwar hanging outside. It crashes and the videographer races toward the scene. Meanwhile nearby National Guardsmen pull the girls from the wreckage with Anwar's body twitching nearby on the ground as onlookers just kept looking on, doing nothing to help him, as most onlookers are wont to do.

One of the teen girls can be heard saying, "Please, my phone is in there. My phone is in there," as Anwar was dying nearby. She cared more about her freaking phone than a human being she was responsible for killing.

This is what our society is devolving into.

CNN reported:
"Police said the girls, 13 and 15, assaulted an Uber Eats driver with a Taser while carjacking him, which led to an accident in which he was fatally injured"
It did not lead to an "accident"--it led to a felony murder.

By Sunday morning, CNN's verbal calisthenics of the murder as an "accident "was one of Twitter's top trending topics with more than 100,000 tweets.

Comedian Tim Dillon mocked:
"These girls made a whoopsie when they murdered this man. Total accident. They were in wrong place at wrong time! They're good kids! Kids murder in cold blood/ make mistakes."

Fox News host Laura Ingraham reacted:

"Wonder what took CNN so long to report what the rest of us did days ago. Doesn't advance their poisonous race narrative, that's why."
Another Twitter user said.
"A white man shoots 6 Asians and 2 white people, and he is a white supremacist. A middle eastern man shoots up a store, and well, 'Don't jump to conclusions,' they say. 2 young black girls assault a man with a taser and murder him, and it's an accident. Oh, the hypocrisy."
Yet another user said:
"If these girls were white, this headline would be worded much differently and the outrage factor would be dialed up."
It would have led to a CNN party if the two girls were White men.

As one person rightly noted:
"It's always interesting how CNN and other news organizations are highly selective when determining whether or not it's worth mentioning the demographics of those involved in incidents such as this."
The trouble is, no matter how much outrage the Crappy News Network receives as a result of how they report stories they aren't going to change as long as the outlets have the backing of rich leftists who propagate such crap.

The only bright side to this horror is that more than $400,000 had been raised for Anwar's family by Sunday afternoon.

DC mayor lays the blame on victims of auto theft: doesn't mention dead victim

Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser shared a video on "preventing auto thefts" but failed to mention the most recent victim that became the catalyst of the problem. Specifically, Mohammad Anwar, a 66-year-old Uber Eats driver.

Anwar died a few days ago after two teenage girls allegedly tasered him in order to steal his vehicle. The car crashed and he died from injuries sustained in the incident.

The suspects, who police say are ages 13 and 15, have been charged with murder in the death of Anwar.

The girls got into Anwar’s car around 4:30 p.m. at the Navy Yard Metro Station as he was making deliveries, Leo said.

"Auto theft is a crime of opportunity. Follow these steps to reduce the risk of your vehicle becoming a target. Remember the motto, #ProtectYourAuto," a tone-deaf Bowser wrote on Twitter Sunday.

She received immediate backlash.

You can see Bowser's video here. The music is catchy and as serious as a box of puppies.

And this one:

The girls fought Anwar for his car then leaving him dead after he was thrown from the vehicle when it wrecked.

One of the girls told D.C. police that they had set out with a stun gun to steal a car on Tuesday, according to court testimony from homicide unit Detective Chad Leo. Due to their age, their identities have not been released.

Mohammad Anwar

Anwar was of Pakistani descent.

National Guard troops who happened to be in the area pulled the two girls from the wrecked car. The teens are each charged with felony murder and armed carjacking and are being held in custody pending their next court date on March 31.

Carjacker with a gun shot dead by his target with a gun

Milwaukee -- A carjacking suspect was shot and killed by the man he was trying to carjack and rob at gunpoint, police say.

The intended victim, 24, was sitting in his vehicle on Monday, waiting for his shift to begin when the 21-year-old suspect attempted to rob him at around 5:50 a.m. near the Milwaukee Tool Corporation.

"This is the worst thing that could possibly happen to someone," MPD Captain Andra Williams told FOX6. He said the failed carjacker was also armed and that as carjacking and vehicle thefts continue to climb, this incident should serve as a warning.

It wasn't clear if Williams meant that what happened was the worst thing that could happen to a would-be victim, or to the perpetrator who got killed trying to commit a crime.

"This should be a wake-up call to everyone in the community that this is not a game. This is very serious," Williams lectured the law-abiding public.

The would-be victim had a concealed-carry permit and is cooperating with law enforcement.

People who work in the area told FOX6 that carjackers often target businesses looking for vehicles to steal. Now many of the workers have decided to protect themselves and their property and have concealed-carry permits, as is their right under the Second Amendment.

According to Alderman Cavalier Johnson, who represents the neighborhood on the northwest side of the city, and whose first name totally suits him, the shooting was "completely preventable."

"That young man didn't have to die today. He didn't have to lose his life, but he made a bad decision and he did," Cavalier said, implying that if the carjacker simply didn't carjack cars and maybe finished school and got a job, he would be alive today and driving his own car instead of carjacking cars.

Johnson wants parents to educate their kids about the dangers that come with crime, instead of educated their kids about the values of a good education.

"This isn't a game. This isn't live-action 'Grand Theft Auto.' You don't re-spawn after you're dead," he told FOX6.

I bet there were no "Gun-Free Zone" signs in that parking lot, but if there were, it might have saved the young man's life . . . and gotten the other young man killed.
