Ukraine: A Developing Situation

The Ukraine is now being occupied by about 2,000 Russian troops. President Obama even made a speech about it. Kerry looked tired as he said some useless sentences about the situation.  Viktor Yanukovych, the exiled president of Ukraine is wanted for murder, but said that he never gave the orders to kill protesters and apparently broke
a pencil to emphasize his point.

So now Obama has problems. He has failed in Iraq, Syria, Libya, and Afghanistan. Now he has problems in Ukraine and Russia, and his pen and phone isn't going to get him out of this so easily. The new government of Ukraine is saying the Russian presence is an invasion to their sovereign nation but Putin doesn't seem to be worried.

Obama should worry. And with Obama as president, we all should worry.

De Blasio, the Socialist Sellout

Socialist and New York City Mayor, Bill de Blasio, has rescinded on an agreement for the city to share space with four public charter schools. Harlem Success 4 is one of these schools and the move screws over educators and about 700 students and their parents. Eva Moskowitz is the CEO of the Success Academy Network and calls this decision "the saddest day in Success Academy history." Ms. Moskowitz is a former councilwoman and is de Blasio's political adversary.

Instead of honoring Mayor Bloomberg's decision to work with these schools, de Blasio pulled "an Obama," and exacted retribution from his enemy. Seventeen schools were promised free space in public school buildings last October, but not anymore. Good job Billy; you kissed up to the United Federation of Teachers better than most, and they supported you completely.

Charter schools have historically outperformed traditional public schools, especially in reading and math, two subjects de Blasio evidently never studied.

But you've always hated charter schools because they couldn't do anything for you politically; they could only help kids academically. The Harlem Success 4 charter school is a perfect example of that, with an amazing success rate by kids who otherwise were at risk.
Amy Moskowitz

Although charter schools receive taxpayer funding for operating expenses, they are managed privately and do not get funded to build or lease their facilities. De Blasio couldn't care less.

"Explaining to students and families that they won't have a school next year is the most heartbreaking thing I've done at Success Academies," Moskowitz said in a statement. "No parent should have to go through this."

Andrew Campanella, president of National School Choice Week said, "This extreme action puts de Blasio, a progressive Democrat, at odds with not only President Obama, but most charter-supporting mayors and governors across the country."

Nina Rees, CEO of the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools, called de Blasio's decision, "outrageous." I call it cruel, uncaring, and distinctly progressive Democratic.

You can look for the union label for all of de Blasio's decisions.

My Brother's Spelling Bee Keeper"

My Brother's Keeper, Obama's distraction from the economy, scandals, and Obamacare, is getting a $200 million commitment from nine foundations. It's a program designed to help young men and boys of color by keeping them in school, and eventually have them train for good jobs. This is Obama using his pen and his phone to help his "brothers," but not his real brother; however, that's another story.

My Thoughts in Black and White

Putin sees Ukraine as part of Russia and would fight to get it back.

Kerry sees Putin as a bully and warns him to keep his hands off Ukraine. Perhaps he'll draw a line in the sand if the calculus changes.

Putin sees Kerry as a hirsute chihuahua who he can kick across the room, and he continues with his military exercise.

Obama sees what's going on in the world and plans to cut the military budget to anemic levels.

Liberals are proud of his progressive humanistic outlook of the world, and will remain so until the crap hits the fan.

Putin rides horses and hunts bears shirtless.

Obama rides a Schwinn in shorts and hunts for his TelePrompter.

Kerry rides his wife's coattails.

Putin rules with a thuggish, vicious, terrible strength and instills consequences for his enemies.

Obama rules from the rear where the view stinks, and believes his lies have no consequences. Truth is his enemy.

Kerry speaks like an American, acts like a communist, and pretends to be intelligent. Maybe if he plays his cards right, Putin will enlist him.

Regulation Nation

Real freedom isn't something the government gives you; it's the freedom of being left alone by the government. It started with the Blue Laws--laws forcing businesses to be closed on Sunday mornings in order to allow people time to go to church. Today it is the mountains of regulations that businesses my adhere to or pay the price of breaking these regulations.

In the 1950's, about one in twenty small businesses required a license to operate; today it's greater than one in three. And the idea that we really need licenses to operate professionally or efficiently is ludicrous. If it made sense then we would need a license to have kids, not just to get married.

In Texas, if you want to be a computer technician you need to first get a private investigator's license. To do that, you need to either work with a licensed PI for three years as an apprentice, or get a degree in criminal justice. I wonder what the government sees as the reason for this requirement, but I'm sure someone like Jay Carney could explain it.

This blog that you're reading doesn't require that I license and register it, but the city of Philadelphia sees it differently. They require a $300 business privilege license to blog.

Massachusetts mandates that all children in daycare centers brush their teeth after lunch and they even supply the toothpaste. How nanny state of them.

If you want to give tours in Washington D.C., you must be licensed or face 90 days in jail. The only purpose this license can serve is to bring in revenue to the fat cats who make their living off of how you make yours.

In Santa Monica, California, it might be illegal for you to smoke in your own home. Smoking had already been banned on beaches, parks, restaurants and near office buildings, but that wasn't enough. Now the ban extends to new tenants in apartments and condos. Tenants who lived there prior to the ban don't have to worry--all they have to do is designate whether their place is "smoking" or "non-smoking."

These are just a few examples of crazy regulations; examples of how the government has become so intrusive in our lives that a day doesn't go by when they aren't involved in our activities. It's pretty bad when you even have to deal with the bureaucracy when going out of business, but that's exactly the case in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. If you want to have a "going out of business sale" you must first submit reams of paperwork itemizing what you plan to sell off. Next you must pay $2 on every $1000 worth of inventory you're planning to sell, and pay this fee whether or not it gets sold.

Finally, there's the intrusion of government in cases where they can force you to provide your services when you feel religiously compromised. This was the case last August in New Mexico when their Supreme Court ruled that a commercial photography business that offers services to the public "is subject to the state anti-discrimination laws." That is, they "must serve same-sex couples on the same basis that it serves opposite-sex couples." I'm not so sure that this is a case of discrimination--I believe it has to do with the photographer's religious beliefs and values, and her right to not perform a service that goes against these beliefs. It isn't like the gay couple can't go elsewhere and in the free market (where the government stays out of the equation) this business will reap the rewards or punishment of their decision.

Freedom is the right to make your own life decisions without government interference as long as you do not hurt or endanger others. In the free market, my decisions will affect my success.

Let's Not Hold onto Holder

Why isn't anyone doing anything about Eric Holder and his refusal to uphold the Constitution? After all, that's his job and what he swore he would do. He didn't swear to uphold parts of it, especially those parts that the president also agrees to uphold. He agreed to uphold all of it. Sorry, but you don't get to choose, and you don't get to change the law to suit your purposes. Who does Eric Holder think he is, President Obama? Oh, wait--Obama made the same promise.

The Peacemaker Military Budget by Colt

Sometimes a good old-fashion analogy can clarify a situation better than a long, technical explanation. This post is about the proposed military budget cuts just announced by Chuck Hagel, the Secretary of Defense. What follows is an analogy of using a famous gun, the Colt .45 Peacemaker to represent the US military complex.

Imagine the entire military establishment is a Colt .45 Peacemaker, the Gun that Won the West. This gun, also known as the Single Action Army, SAA Model P Peacemaker, M1873, is a single action revolver and holds six cartridges. It was designed for the U.S. government and was the military standard service revolver until 1892.

Words, Not Sticks and Stones

Chuckles HaHaHagel held a press conference today in which he outlined a suicidal strategy of cutting the military every which way but loose. The numbers he is proposing reflect the lowest number of troops since pre-World War Two, and he plans to cut back on our ships and aircraft as well.
After showering with Barack

This strategy shows the same insight the Obama administration has shown with the economy in general, and will show the world that the United States means it when it says, "I'm a little peeved at you, Mr. Putin and Mr. Assad. We need to talk at your earliest convenience, if it isn't too much trouble."

Hagel is suggesting we cut our present military from 520,000 troops to 490,000 and then by 2016 to 450,000. That is about the same size army as Columbia or Turkey. He also wants to ensure that those who would have planned to make the military a career change their mind, by keeping enlisted salaries at the poverty level, freeze wages of high ranking officers, and screw around with healthcare co-pays and benefits.

Just days ago Obama said that the time of austerity is over--he definitely wasn't speaking about the military. Obama sees no problem investing in loser companies like Solyndra, but refuses to give our military what they need to keep our country safe.

If you think Ronald Reagan's notion of peace through strength was wrong, and our enemies will respect us for using diplomacy instead of strength, then I suggest you get your head out of the sand, or that other place you probably have it stuck up in, and get real. Our enemies only respect strength and laugh at weakness. They are wetting their burkas and salwaar kamese over Obama and his lines in the sand.

It's time for all voters to tell their local and state politicians that we need a strong military, and Chuck Hagel is not being honest with us anymore than Susan Rice was back in 2012.

Israeli Apartheid Week: Confused Ideology of Hatred

Has it been a year already? Wow, how time flies when you're between Israeli Apartheid Weeks. In many leftist college campuses, Israeli Apartheid Week is in full swing and the pro-Palestinian anti-Semites, anti-Zionists are staging their week of hatred starting today.

This event often uses street theater, including the forcing of students to pass through mock checkpoints and erecting an "apartheid wall." Israelis call this a security barrier and it has helped them keep Palestinian suicide bombers out of Israel's streets, buses, and restaurants, thus protecting the civilian men, women, and children it is designed to protect.

These pro-Palestinians are trying to equate Israel with South Africa's former apartheid state and they call for a boycott of Israel. But they really don't want a total boycott of Israeli products because without them, these pro-Palestinians would be living a life of misery.

Pro-Israeli groups are attempting to counter the Israeli Apartheid Week movement by erecting a "Wall of Truth" that displays things the anti-Semites don't show you, and they want to put on street theater of their own that portrays men dressed as suicide bombers with AK-47s and  keffiyih, dramatizing a bomb scene in a cafe, for example.

I believe they should go a step further and show how the injured are treated in both Israeli and Palestinian hospitals after a suicide attack takes place. You see, the Israelis actually treat wounded Palestinians in their Jewish hospitals, but the converse is not true. In fact, if a wounded Israeli sought medical treatment in a Palestinian hospital, it's likely that he or she would not leave that hospital alive.

Instead of their "Apartheid Wall," I would have a wall lined with photos, actual on-the-scene photos of the results of their suicide attacks. It would show the dead babies, children on bombed out school buses, and other atrocities committed by these barbarians in all the graphic, sinister detail. It would be horrifying and ugly, but it would be honest.

Of course, there will still be some anti-Semites who will try to justify the carnage by blaming it on the victims; there will always be anti-Semites. But some of the more intelligent students will see the truth: that when you must choose between the civilized and the barbarians, the right choice is obvious.

Lying About the Lies with No Regrets

Don`t you just love it when a person lies then lies about the lie and then about how they felt about lying when they first lied? Susan Rice, National Security Adviser, lied to us back in 2012 when she went on five morning TV talk shows and said the cause of the 911 attack in Benghazi was due to an anti-Muhammad video. (How can anyone be against such a wonderful, gentle, pedophile, and killer?)

Sue said she had no regrets when Dick-I-Lean-Left-of-Left Gregory asked her that tough, probing question. She claimed to Dick that she shared "the best information that we had at the time." Then she had the audacity to add, "The information I provided . . . was what we had at the moment."

That would be true if it wasn't a lie.

Obama Draws Line in Sand Using His Etch-a-Sketch Tactic

Kelly Ayotte (R-NH) wants President Obama to send a clear message to President Putin to keep away from the Ukraine's political crisis. This time, if Obama draws a line, he should not draw one that disappears when your hand shakes.

FCC Walks it Back, Sort Of

Imagine the conversation: "Don't worry, the reason we're doing this is to put Fox News and those right wing nut bloggers in their place. You can do exactly what you've been doing--the President has no problem with that."

That might have been the conversation between the FCC with CBS, MSNBC, NBC, ABC, and the New York Times. (You know them: "All the news that's fit to print. ") At least that's a good possibility since none of these "news" media told the story of how the FCC wanted to do a "study" about how the news is gathered. I wrote about this in my previous entry.

When James Rosen was investigated by the Obama administration, these media giants spoke out against it because they saw the real possibility that they could be next. But now they say nothing, acting deaf and dumb (i.e. stupid) about this obvious disregard of the First Amendment. They would have a lot to lose, unless they were told they didn't.

First Amendment: What, He Worry?

Should the Federal Communications Commission have the right to monitor American newsrooms? Sure, if you believe they have the right to redefine the US Constitution. Think of the FCC as your Big Brother who knows what's best for you. Not.

Here's the deal. The FCC wants to launch a new study so that they can decide what you news you "need" to hear. Your opinion doesn't matter. These FCC clowns will conduct a "General Population Survey" to "measure what your real needs are versus what you think they are." So, what you perceive you need to know is not the same as what the GOVERNMENT says you need to know.

Lying Liars

It's estimated that over 136,000 people have died since the Syrian revolution began in 2011. Assad still hasn't turned over his stash of chemical weapons and when Jay Carney was confronted about this by Ed Henry of Fox News, Carney admitted that Assad has certainly "blown some deadlines."

So, while Assad has blown some deadlines, we have Jay Carney blowing some smoke in places where smoke should not be blown.

Can you recall the last time Carney has actually answered a question directly, factually, and honestly? I honestly cannot. The same goes for Obama and his entire administration.

Kiev is Burning, Obama's Not Available

Kiev is on fire. At the time of this writing, 26 people are confirmed dead, and others may have been trapped in a burning building. This is an anti-government protest specifically aimed at Vladimir Putin and the Obama administration is calling on Viktor Yanukovych, the Ukraine President, and his government to calm things down. Unfortunately, things aren't as serious to President Obama as they seem to be to the protesters because he did not personally intervene, but had Joe Biden and John Kerry do so.

Kerry "shares the grave concerns expressed by Vice-President Biden directly to President Yanukovych today regarding the unacceptable violence on the streets of Kiev," said Jen Psaki, the Obama State Department spokesperson and Obama apologist. "Ukraine's deep divisions will not be healed by spilling more innocent blood."

Yesterday, Biden called the Ukrainian president to express his concerns. (Obama was busy at the time, and he was comfortable knowing that Biden had his "6.") He asked Yanni, as his friends call him, to pull back government forces and address the legitimate complaints of the protesters and called for political reform. Biden added that the US is committed to supporting peaceful solutions that the people of Ukraine desire.

In spite of the fact that yesterday's violence was the deadliest in about three months, it still wasn't enough to drag Obama away from doing whatever he does when he's being the "coolest POTUS ever." Let's face it, Obama doesn't know what he's doing and when the going gets tough, he gets going elsewhere.

This isn't leading from behind; this is leading with his behind.

No More Free Rides

If you get something for free, you place less value on it than you would if you had to pay for it. This is just simple, common sense. So what makes anyone think that welfare and other entitlements is a good thing?

When I worked as a psychotherapist in New York City, a substantial number of the patients that came to the clinic were Medicaid recipients. They were seen once weekly and were given ongoing appointment schedules. If they had to cancel, they were asked to give the clinic at least 24 hour notice so that we could use their timeslots effectively. But cancelling appropriately was as rare as a liberal using facts to make decisions rather than feelings. Patients who paid out of pocket, or who had coverage through their employer (those with jobs often had coverage), were much more dependable when it came to showing up for session and for cancelling when necessary.

Fee for service therapists at the clinic only got paid when they actually had a patient session. There was no penalty for Medicaid patients not calling in to cancel--we call them "no shows," and this had become an ongoing problem. The situation became one in which the therapist was dependent upon the mental patient to do the right thing and allow a scheduling in the open timeslot.

Entitlements like Medicaid, Food Stamps, and other programs that give away free stuff is fine and necessary, but it is all too easy to use these programs to create strong dependency and a nanny state. (I am not referring to Social Security--we've paid into that.) Moreover, in the case of psychotherapy, where clients pay nothing for treatment, there is a devaluing of treatment when it's free. I believe there should be a small penalty for being a "no show" and the patient must pay it by the following visit or be terminated from treatment.

The government has become too much like a rewarding parent, or Santa Claus. If you want to make people responsible adults, you need to hold them accountable for their actions. No more free rides. No more Obama phones. It's time for our nation to put on their big boy pants.

Sebelius Strong Arming

As you know, the Obamacare roll-out has been as successful as Solyndra and getting answers about Benghazi. Obama's minions are under the gun and this is especially true for Kathleen Sebelius, the figurehead of HHS, or as it's laughingly called, Health and Human Services.

Sebelius is refusing to answer the question as to whether or not she's still going around to companies with her hand out to support this chameleon law, a law that has been "tweaked" (as opposed to twerked) over 30 times. Of course, this is unconstitutional, but the Constitution is an old document, according to Obama and many leftists of late.

The problem is serious. The HHS is the regulator of Johnson & Johnson, a company held by the Robert Wood Johnson company. Sebelius is going to this company asking them for money--a company she can make trouble for via an HHS audit--and it places them in a peculiar situation. Worse, it's illegal for Sebelius to do it in the first place because it's an obvious conflict of interest. It isn't like other instruments of government have tried to make trouble for conservative groups, right? Oh wait, I forgot about the IRS and what they are doing with the Tea Party organizations applying for 501(c) 3 status; after years, they're still waiting while all of the Democratic affiliated organizations got their status.

But I digress.

We all know Obamacare is a mess; Sebelius has a big load on her plate (picture what I'm saying here) and now she even has to defend why Obamacare enrollees have no avenue of appeal regarding unfavorable health care determinations. Maybe the administration will say "It only impacts a very small portion of the huge population enrolled in the program," implying that 22,000 people don't count all that much, but it also shows a lack of clarity in the planning of this "law."

I watch Fox News and I hear a lot of Republicans complaining. That seems to be our national sport. What are we going to do about it, our lawmakers, that is? It's time to do something about this lawless president but congress needs to act.

Obama's New Hitmen

The Obama administration (or regime, take your pick), is now using the IRS for political purposes. He is now using this already messed up branch of government to oversee businesses. Companies must now swear that if they lay off any workers that  they are not doing it due to Obamacare. Of course, this comes to us by the man who would be king.

In a country that has become great because of our freedoms and free enterprise, this administration is looking to impose itself into what used to be the free market by dictating what a company can and cannot do in order to ensure its own survival. The purpose of the employer mandate the administration released on February 10th was to make the compliance process easier for employers. The 227 page document had a requirement, hidden on pages 125-126 where employers had to swear, under penalty of perjury, that they haven't scaled down the number of employees or cut back hours to protect themselves from the costs of Obamacare.

The IRS is already under investigation (albeit by a big Obama campaign donor) for its unlawful practice of political bias toward the left, and now the left wants the IRS to come down hard on employers to do business their way. It's going to hurt them and perhaps destroy them, but it seems that Obama doesn't give a rat's butt--his signature legislation is more important than the people it supposedly was written to serve.

A significant percentage of America doesn't want Obamacare. Insofar as the "Affordable Care Act" is concerned, it is neither affordable and the government doesn't really care. The only accurate thing is that it is an act, one perpetrated on the American people.

Maybe it's time for all of us to write to our representatives and tell them how we feel. Mine, unfortunately, is Chuck "Mega-Nostrils" Schumer. He makes Karl Marx look like Rand Paul. But perhaps your senators and representatives will realize what a disaster Obamacare is.

NBC PC Programming

Forget al Qaeda, the real terrorists are Hispanic assassins and European terrorists who want to destroy the world. Muslims are never seen as bad guys, there are no beheadings, stonings or anti-Semitic rants, at least that's the way NBC sees modern day terrorism as depicted on their show called Chuck. The series ran from 2007 to 2012.

In spite of this oversight, I really like the show--I've been watching it on Netflix and I'm hooked.

The series was created by Josh Schwartz and Chris Fedak and starred Zachary Levi, Yvonne Strahovski, and Adam Baldwin (no relation to the brothers Baldwin). Baldwin plays John Casey, a tough NSA agent who, along with agent Sarah Walker (Strahovski), are assigned to protect Chuck Bartowski (Levi), who is the "intersect"--a guy with a computer imprinted in his brain. The computer is a merge of the CIA`s entire database, which the bad guys try to obtain by capturing Chuck.

While the episodes are predictable, they're still fun to watch. Most people don't get killed, but there is a lot of gun-pointing and threats of death. It's nothing like real terrorism where American ambassadors can get killed by a group of YouTube critics with RPGs and mortars, or when Israeli children are murdered by Palestinian Muslims with an axe to grind with the Jews. No, Chuck is nothing like real life, but like I said, it is fun and worth seeing if you enjoy predictable suspense (which I do).

In this age of political correctness, even when people scream "Allahu Akbar" and begin shooting their co-workers, we must call it "workplace violence," lest we be called a racist. We've even bought into the idea that religion is the same thing as race.

If you'd like to learn more about Islamic terrorism, television is not the way to go. Join the military or become a real CIA agent.

My latest novel, Jihad Joe, is about Islamic terrorism and suspense.  In it I challenge the precepts of the religion through my protagonist, Zed Nill, a journalist, captured by terrorists and destined to be killed if the American President refuses to release three Gitmo prisoners.  Of course, American policy demands we never give in to terrorists, and for Zed, the clock is ticking.

It's Kerry's Turn in the Barrel

Hamid Karzai, POA (as opposed to POTUS) released 65 scum-sucking jihadists today from prison in Afghanistan. As the women-hating, Jew-hating, Christian-hating, America-hating, non-Muslim-hating men from the religion of peace left the prison, they laughed like a bunch of schoolboys on a new road to adventure.

Why Bob Costas is an Idiot

Bob Costas they say, is suffering from pink eye, but I believe it may be more serious than that; I'd say he has a case of pinko. He spoke glowingly of Vladimir Putin and it became very clear that he, Costas, should stick to sports broadcasting and stay as far away from actual politics and history as possible. He's either an idiot or a communist.

You remember Mikhail Gorbachev and glasnost. Well, glasnost was not originated by Gorby to describe how he led Russia "out of its totalitarian state and to democracy, to freedom, to openness" to quote his words (Disinformation by Lt. Gen. Ion Mihai Pacepa and Ronald Rychlak, p. 14). Glasnost is deception and an art perfected by Russian rulers. Even George W. Bush was fooled by Putin when, in 2001, at the end of the Slovenia summit he said of Putin: "I looked the man in the eye. I found him to be very straightforward and trustworthy" (p.14). Bush might have added: "so will you carry me across the stream, Mr. Scorpion?"

The IRS is Watching and They're Everywhere

Fifty is the new forty, gay is the new normal, and the IRS is the new Gestapo. Now with the implementation of Obamacare, the IRS has become the enforcement arm of the "law," that has robbed over 6 million people of their original coverage, leaving them at risk of losing everything, should they undergo a medical emergency. The IRS now has incredible political power, and while Obama is busy getting to the bottom of this phony IRS scandal, nothing is actually being done and the IRS has grabbed even more power than it ever had.

A Pen a Phone and a Timebomb

It's a brilliant ploy. President Obama uses his executive directive to ease up on those immigrants who would move to the USA, enjoy the good life, and then try to make our country theirs, in spite of the fact that they have given "limited support" to terrorists or terrorist organizations. While liberals see no problem inviting them to live here, conservatives are smart enough to see the problem: they hate us, they hate our way of life, they hate our freedom and laws, and they want to make the world an Islamic caliphate.

But it makes Barack Hussein Obama look good to the low-information voters, those liberals who never met an illegal alien they didn't like, or a liberal President who didn't make unilateral decisions.

Rep. Robert Goodlatte (R-VA, not Starbucks) stated: "President Obama should be protecting U.S. citizens rather than taking a chance on those who are aiding and abetting terrorist activity and putting Americans at greater risk." Goodlatte is chairman of the House Judiciary Committee and is currently working on immigration reform with the GOP House leadership team.

America is a nation of immigrants and if they want to follow their religious convictions, and establish a world caliphate, that's just peachy with Obama, it seems. The more one sees him in action, the more one sees a man who is doing harm to this country and is putting its people at greater risk. He may not be a Muslim, (although technically he is via his father), but he is doing nothing different than a Muslim would do who is looking to establish Islam as the dominant religion in the USA.
Their photographer applied for US status

Let me be clear: the DHS and the State Department are now saying that people who have provided "limited material support" to terrorists or terrorist groups, are no longer going to be automatically barred from the United States. We are going to allow terrorist supporters to live among us. You see, there was a post-911 provision in the immigration law that kept out everyone who lent support to these groups; it applied to just about every scumbag terror-supporter. The provision is known as the terrorism-related inadmissibility grounds.

This latest "pen and phone" move by Barack should not be considered to be a liberal move--it should be considered suicidal.

Lucky for Barack Hussein that he has his own secret bunker.

A New York reporter is taken hostage by terrorists. If POTUS refuses to release 3 Gitmo jihadists, the reporter will die in 24 hours—they will behead him and show it on the Internet. There is only one way out but the clock is ticking . . .

Comrade Costas at the Olympics

No toothpaste tubes, no shampoos, no throwing used toilet paper into the toilet, and don't drink the water, it tastes like vomit. It's beginning to look a lot like whoever is in charge of the Sochi Olympics, was the consultant for Obamacare. This is what you get when the job is done by government, and in this case, under the auspices of a cruel dictator, Vladimir Putin.
Hands in pockets checking for holes

NBC's Bob Costas is a sportscaster. He knows as much about politics, it seems, as Banjo Boy from Deliverance knows about Boolean algebra. He opened the Olympics with a Putin profile, depicting him as a peacemaker and a statesman, crediting him with preventing a US airstrike on Syria and getting Iran to come to negotiations over their nuclear program. Costas calling Putin a statesman is akin to Obama referring to terrorists as "folks;" it's asinine.

No to the Gay Life in Russia and other Places

The United Nations (a.k.a. United Nations of Islam) has verbally admonished Russia for its laws against homosexuality. Imagine, if you will, how horrible it must be, for a gay person in Russia getting arrested for a "crime" involving another gay person committing the same "crime" that has no victim. Imagine how terrible it must be for simply expressing your love, or at the very least, your sexual feelings toward someone of your same gender. You could be put in the Russian slammer for five years. And it is in the slammer where homosexual behavior runs rampant and unchecked.

The Obamacare Wreck

Obamacare is now projected to lose over 2 million jobs for Americans, but according to his administration, that's a good thing. It'll give folks a chance to do some of those things they've always wanted to do but had to work 60 hours a week just to make ends meet. Like maybe plant a garden or read some Plato. Because even without full-time work, perhaps at a job that didn't provide a healthcare plan for them, with Obamacare, folks will be able to get on the system.

And children (those are folks under the age of 26) will not even have to leave the basement or put down their game controllers to receive benefits from Mommy's plan. This is how the spin-doctors of the Obama administration tell the story.

What is most frightening is that this may be part of the grand plan of Obama. I know that may sound a bit "conspiracy theory" ish, but what if he really does want to see the country go socialist? After all, there is no doubt that he's a socialist--he was brought up that way.

O'Reilly Obama Omaha Omahahaha

"It's discouraging to think how many people are shocked by honesty and how few by deceit"--Noel Coward

Yesterday's interview by Bill O'Reilly of President Obama showed more defense than the Denver Broncos had at the game. In the ten minute interview that aired  before the Superbowl, O'Reilly asked a series of pointed questions, which, I believe, were quite relevant, but the answers Obama gave were nothing more than the typical filibuster you expect to hear from him. They did not answer even one of the questions posed, and what came out of the "confrontation" was an attack on Fox News and O'Reilly. This was a perfect example of Saul Alinsky's Rule number 5 (in his "Rules for Radicals") which states: "Ridicule is man's most potent weapon." Unfortunately, O'Reilly had no choice but to be respectful to the Socialist in Chief, and his comebacks were more powder-puff than hardball (excuse the expression--it was not intended to give Chris Matthews any credit). If you would like to see the interview on the Fox News Network along with Howard Kurtz's thoughts go here

Punxatawny Phil v POTUS

Happy Groundhog Day. (Did I already say that earlier?) Did you know that ever since 1887, every February 2nd, Punxatawany Phil, that geriatric groundhog, has predicted whether or not we will get an additional 6 weeks of winter? Yes, we put our faith in trust in a rodent more than we do in our current president.
Tastes like chicken

Clymer Freas, the city editor of the Punxatawny Spirit, came up with the idea. With a name like Clymer, who'd a thunk? The thing is, a very distinct possibility exists that ole Clymer's way of interpreting Phil's prognostications is butt-backwards. I say this because Phil's accuracy is only at 39%, according to Stormfacts, an organization who cares about this kind of stuff.

Remember, Phil never said, "If you like your winter, you can keep your winter."

So maybe if Phil sees his shadow it means that Spring is on the wing, not the other way around. Or maybe it was just a good way to sell papers in 1887.

In either case, Phil is more trustworthy than Barack Obama, any day.

Islam on the Dole

The North American Islamic Trust (NAIT), an offshoot of the Muslim Student's Association, received over $10 thousand in farm subsidies since 1998. Ironically, it did no farming with the money.
NYPD: "Don't Look, Don't Tell"

NAIT was involved with the 2008 Holy Land Foundation case that determined the Muslim Brotherhood was funding Hamas, a known terror organization.

The farm subsidies NAIT received were probably legal, just like the money doled out to non-terrorist millionaires and billionaires who also don't farm the land. Since NAIT is a nonprofit "charity group" land owner, they are eligible to receive money from us taxpayers in order to funnel their "charity" to folks who would by farming implements like RPGs and AK 47s.
