The North American Islamic Trust (NAIT), an offshoot of the Muslim Student's Association, received over $10 thousand in farm subsidies since 1998. Ironically, it did no farming with the money.
NAIT was involved with the 2008 Holy Land Foundation case that determined the Muslim Brotherhood was funding Hamas, a known terror organization.
The farm subsidies NAIT received were probably legal, just like the money doled out to non-terrorist millionaires and billionaires who also don't farm the land. Since NAIT is a nonprofit "charity group" land owner, they are eligible to receive money from us taxpayers in order to funnel their "charity" to folks who would by farming implements like RPGs and AK 47s.
"Organizations with no history of agriculture are getting in on taxpayer-provided farm subsidies," said Adam Andrzejewski (pronounced "Ski"), Republican candidate for governor of Illinois and founder of OpenTheBooks.com.
Nobody is claiming NAIT has done anything illegal (except funding of terrorists, perhaps), but this is a good example of government growing so big that its left hand doesn't know which nostril the right hand has a finger stuck up in its nose.
So who is NAIT? They are an offshoot of the Muslim Students Association (which is an arm of the Muslim Brotherhood) and founded in 1973 by a group of Middle Eastern-born college students and whose founders were mostly members of the Muslim Brotherhood. Saudi Arabia helps fund them, as they do with many mosques here, including those of the terrorist variety. Jamal Said, former Allied Asset Advisors Fund board member--a Sharia approved investing company--was specifically named in the Holy Land Foundation case as a co-conspirator. For more on this moron, go here .
Interestingly, NAIT complained and whined before the 2008 Holy Land Foundation verdict was reached. They cried about how they "suffered injuries" from the "public branding" of being associated with their associates. Oh, the poor dears. So, in 2008 their farm subsidies were halted but the Fifth Circuit Court overturned the group's "co-conspirator" status after NAIT's appeal and pressure from the ACLU, (another terrorist rights supporter). In 2010, the money began making its way back to NAIT's non-farming efforts and "charity" events.
Remember, the Muslim Brotherhood supports Hamas, a known terrorist organization, and were invited to the White House by Barack Hussein Obama.
As it turns out, there is possibly some good news. The subsidy program that is providing money to these bogus claims may be slated for cuts in the latest farm bill that passed through the House this week. Allah only knows.

A reporter is taken hostage by Islamic terrorists who plan to behead him in 24 hours if POTUS refuses to release 3 Gitmo prisoners. But the US doesn't make deals with terrorists and there is only one way out . . .the
clock is ticking.
