Israeli Consul-General says Mamdani is an anti-Semite behind a fake smile

Israel’s Consul-General in New York City, Ofir Akunis, has accused the city’s mayor, Zohran Mamdani, of being an anti-Semite who conceals himself behind a false smile, which some would call a sh*t-eating-grin.

The charge was made in an interview with CBS News on Sunday.

“He is saying, I will ensure the security of the Jewish community in New York. How will you do it if you are saying that Israel is responsible for a genocide in Gaza?” Akunis said. “This is a disgusting lie, Mr. mayor. You know that there is no genocide in the Gaza Strip.”

In fact, the Gazan population has grown significantly since 1948 as the graph shows [below].

1948: Approximately 80,000 residents (pre-refugee influx). Large numbers of Palestinian refugees arrived after the 1948 war, raising the population to roughly 240,000–245,000 by 1950.

Steady growth followed (driven largely by high fertility rates), with a temporary dip after the 1967 war.
By the early 2020s the population exceeded 2 million (US Census Bureau International Database estimates used in the main series: ~2.10 million in 2023 and ~2.14 million in 2024).

End of 2025 (PCBS): About 2.13 million. The Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics reports a decline of roughly 10.6% relative to pre-war projections, attributed to deaths, missing persons, outflows, and lower births during the war that began in October 2023.

Sources: Annual figures 1950–2024 primarily from the US Census Bureau International Database

So if that's what Mamdani, or any other jihadi calls genocide, they're peeing on your leg and telling you it's raining.

His S.E.G.

Akunis further condemned comrade Mamdani for applying the word “monsters” to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, the influential pro-Israel lobby group in the United States. He didn't even have to mention Mamdani's anti-Semitic history and how she "Liked" a post on X praising the October 7, 2023 attack on innocent Israelis at a music festival and in their homes.

“It’s the same word that the Germans, that the Nazi regime used against the Jewish community,” Akunis said.

The consul-general closed the interview by issuing a warning to the United States, a nation of which he declared himself a devoted admirer. “It’s very emotional to me to see the American flag right here in the streets of Manhattan,” he stated. “I don’t want to see them force the Sharia laws on you. You must stop them now before it will be too late for you.”

Mamdani and his ilk need to get thrown out of office either by vote or impeachment. Please repost of you agree and feel free to comment.

Dallas PD shot and killed member of Jasmine Crockett's security team

This is one of those Texas-sized tales that makes you wonder if the Lone Star State is secretly running a reality show called "How Many Red Flags Can One Guy Wave Before Someone Notices?"

Out of Dallas comes word that a man shot and killed by police after a standoff, tear gas, barricaded vehicle, the full SWAT drama, was none other than Rep. Jasmine Crockett's (D-TX) own bodyguard. The suspect, going by the name Mike King, was wanted for impersonating a police officer. He ran a business called Off Duty Police Services, hooking up North Texas cops with side gigs, all while apparently driving a fake undercover cop car and using stolen plates lifted from a military recruiting office.

Several photos show the guy, identified as Mike King, working congressional security (via CBS News):

"A man shot and killed by Dallas police earlier this week was a familiar figure in North Texas law enforcement – and part of the security detail for U.S. Rep. Jasmine Crockett, sources told CBS News Texas.

Multiple law enforcement sources tell CBS News Texas the man, known publicly as Mike King, had been using aliases while running a business that placed officers in off-duty jobs.

King was killed Wednesday night after a standoff with Dallas police SWAT officers. Police say he fled into a hospital parking garage, barricaded himself inside a vehicle, and was forced out by tear gas before pulling a gun on officers. Big mistake.

Sources say he was wanted for impersonating a law enforcement officer and had claimed to be one while operating Off Duty Police Services, an online platform connecting North Texas officers with off-duty work. Authorities have not released his real name.

Law enforcement sources also say King drove a fake undercover police vehicle and used license plates stolen from cars outside a military recruiting office. His background, which sources say includes a criminal history, raises questions about how he managed extra-duty jobs for police officers and secured a high-level security role for a sitting member of Congress.

Documents obtained by CBS News Texas show a person named Mike King received payments for 'security services' from Crockett as recently as last year."

There's a whole boatload of questions screaming for answers here, but as the outlet noted, neither Crockett’s office nor the Dallas police are in the mood to chat right now.

For the record, Crockett recently tossed her hat in the ring for the Democratic primary for Texas' US Senate seat and came up short. Maybe next time she'll vet her security team a little more thoroughly than "he looks official in the replica cruiser."

Stay classy, Lone Star politics.

Report: US service members wounded in Iranian drone strike in Kuwait

The CBS News report published on Wednesday reveals a far grimmer picture than previously admitted of the Iranian drone strike on American forces in Kuwait.

United States service members suffered brain injuries, shrapnel trauma, and burns in the attack, which struck a tactical operations center at the Shuaiba port outside Kuwait City on March 1.

Sources described a “grim and chaotic scene” in the strike’s aftermath, according to CBS, and more than 30 American military members were hospitalized.

What emerges here is not merely an underreported incident but a stark illustration of how rapidly the costs of confrontation can mount, and how initial accounts—whether from design or caution—can obscure the true human toll when Iran chooses to strike directly at American personnel in the opening hours of open conflict. The injuries detailed, from traumatic brain effects to severe burns and embedded shrapnel, speak to the indiscriminate violence of such drone assaults, even against a fortified position. That dozens were wounded so badly, with some facing possible amputation and many requiring urgent evacuation to facilities in Germany, Walter Reed, and elsewhere, underscores a reality that polite official statements had earlier downplayed.

US sends F-22s to Israel while Trump ponders pounding Iran

American F-22 fighter jets touched down at an Israeli Air Force base Tuesday evening as tensions with Iran continue to soar.

According to reports from Walla's Amir Bohbot and Israel's public broadcaster, at least a dozen of these stealth killing machines, among the most advanced fighters on the planet and exclusive to the U.S. arsenal, landed amid the escalating showdown between Washington and Tehran.

President Trump has grown increasingly frustrated with the limits of U.S. military leverage against Iran, per sources familiar with the matter cited by left-leaning CBS News. This frustration follows briefings where aides told the president that, unlike the recent operation that removed Nicolas Maduro in Venezuela, any move against Iran would demand far more than a single strike. The Monday CBS report noted that such an action could drag the U.S. into a prolonged military campaign across the Middle East.

Pentagon officials earlier this week voiced serious concerns about the potential costs of such a campaign, warning it could claim the lives of American troops and our allies, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The WSJ and Axios highlighted that Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Dan Caine strongly opposed war with Iran, a claim Trump pushed back against in a Truth Social post. The WSJ added that several other Pentagon officials echoed similar warnings to Caine, though he was the most prominent voice.

Trump himself said General Caine "would [not like] to see war in Iran, but if a decision is made on going against Iran at a military level, it is his opinion that it will be something easily won."Sources told The Jerusalem Post on Tuesday that Trump remains undecided on the path forward: whether to pursue a deal with Iran, launch a weeks-long war aimed at toppling the regime, or opt for a narrower strike to pressure Tehran into accepting better terms.

With fake news and wild speculation flooding the airwaves, even top American and Israeli officials sometimes appear as uncertain about Trump's next move as the rest of us. One emerging option, now being widely leaked according to sources, involves Trump hunting for a middle-ground approach: a limited, short-duration attack on the Islamic Republic.

Thanks for following Brain Flushings, guys. Please consider subscribing, and if you would like to support my work, visit the sponsors on this page, or you can Buy Me A Coffee.

The Islamic Revolution's 2026 anniversary could well be its last.

Bottom line: the pieces are moving, the rhetoric is heating up, and the F-22s on Israeli soil are a very clear signal that the Trump administration isn't bluffing when it comes to Iran. Stay tuned; this story is far from over.

Trump Cheers as Minnesota Judge Refuses to Hamstring “Highly Successful” ICE Operations

President Trump is singing the praises of a "highly respected" Minnesota federal judge after she shot down the state's desperate bid to slap a temporary restraining order on I.C.E. operations in the heavily Democratic-controlled state.

On Wednesday, U.S. District Judge Kate Menendez, a Biden autopen appointee, flat-out rejected Minnesota's request to freeze I.C.E.'s work while the state's lawsuit against the Trump administration crawls through the courts.

"A highly respected judge declined to block I.C.E. operations in the very politically corrupt State of Minnesota. I.C.E. will therefore be allowed to continue its highly successful operation of removing some of the most violent and vicious criminals anywhere in the World, many of them murderers, from the State," Trump declared. "The great patriots of Law Enforcement will continue to make our Country safe. RECORD LOW CRIME NUMBERS!!!"

Judge Menendez was careful to note that her ruling on the emergency motion wasn't a preview of how she’ll ultimately decide the bigger case. As CBS News reported, she said: "I think the issues are really important and I don't want to suggest by not acting immediately one way or the other that I think they are unimportant. To the contrary, I understand this is important to everybody."

Minnesota had begged for a quick two-week timeout, claiming the state needed breathing room to prepare its legal challenge and insisting that the 3,000 federal agents flooding Minneapolis and the surrounding areas were somehow trampling on citizens' rights.

The feds are required to respond to the lawsuit by January 19. Menendez also turned down a federal prosecutor’s request to push back that deadline because of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, telling both sides the matter was simply too urgent for any delay.

The whole circus kicked off Monday when radical Minnesota AG Keith Ellison announced the state was suing the Trump administration to halt what he dramatically called an "invasion" of federal agents. The timing was no coincidence: the lawsuit dropped just days after Minneapolis resident Renee Good was fatally shot by an I.C.E. agent following a confrontation in which she drove her vehicle toward him. That incident has fueled nonstop protests for more than a week now, prompting the administration to pour even more agents into the city.

Then, on Wednesday night, another I.C.E. shooting sent Minneapolis spiraling further into outrage. According to DHS, a federal agent was ambushed and attacked by three individuals while attempting to take a suspected Venezuelan illegal immigrant into custody on the city’s Northside.President Trump isn’t backing down.

If you enjoy  Brain Flushings and would like to subscribe or Buy Me a Coffee, and check out the sponsors on this page, I would appreciate it, as it supports my work and my coffee drinking habit. No pressure and subscribing is free.

On Thursday he fired off a warning shot on Truth Social, threatening to invoke the Insurrection Act if Minnesota's "corrupt politicians" don't rein in the chaos: "If the corrupt politicians of Minnesota don't obey the law and stop the professional agitators and insurrectionists from attacking the Patriots of I.C.E., who are only trying to do their job, I will institute the INSURRECTION ACT, which many Presidents have done before me, and quickly put an end to the travesty that is taking place in that once great State. Thank you for you [sic] attention to this matter!"

Bottom line: Trump is thrilled, I..C.E. keeps rolling, and the left’s attempt to kneecap federal immigration enforcement in Minnesota just hit a brick wall.

You can bet there's more to follow.

CBS ratings circling the proverbial bowl of destiny

Rating fall, new hosts flop at CBS News.

In a move that critics are calling “the journalistic equivalent of putting pineapple on pizza,” CBS News has tanked its ratings with a revamped “CBS Evening News” featuring John Dickerson and Maurice DuBois. The duo replaced longtime host Norah O’Donnell earlier this year, ushering in what the network billed as a “magazine-style, less headline-driven” format. Spoiler alert: viewers are snoozing harder than a congregation during a tax code sermon.

“It’s been critically panned, ratings down week by week and from this time last year,” a source dished to the Daily Mail, probably while clutching a latte and a pink slip. The show’s executive producer, Bill Owens, is reportedly drowning under the weight of his own ambition. “Bill Owens is also overstretched and feeling the pressure with this lawsuit from Donald Trump,” the insider added, referencing a $20 billion legal smackdown over “60 Minutes” allegedly turning Kamala Harris’s election-year interview into a choppy TikTok remix.

Owens, who’s been juggling “60 Minutes” like a circus clown on a unicycle, was tapped last summer to resuscitate “CBS Evening News.” Instead, the show’s ratings have belly-flopped harder than a lead balloon. Nielsen numbers from last week show a 14% year-over-year nosedive, while advertisers are fleeing faster than hipsters from a gluten-heavy buffet. For the week of February 10th, the show saw a 24% drop in the coveted 25-54 demographic. “That demographic is very important to advertisers,” a former TV news exec told Status. “The experiment is failing.”

Meanwhile, inside sources are painting a picture of chaos that would make a Three Stooges reunion look organized. “I would say it’s a five-alarm fire,” the exec whispered dramatically. Another producer chimed in, “It’s mind boggling. They took the ‘news’ out of the ‘Evening News!’ It’s not surprising the audience is leaving in droves.” Case in point: a recent Oval Office appearance by President Trump and Elon Musk got a measly 22 seconds of airtime. “This is one of the most consequential periods for news in years,” a source groaned to Status. “And [yet] they are often minimizing the biggest story of the day to 20 seconds.”

The network’s leadership isn’t exactly inspiring confidence either. Early Owens fan Adrienne Roark has already jumped ship, and rumors swirl that CEO Wendy McMahon might be next to walk the plank. “Why did McMahon and Owens decide to try to reinvent the ‘Evening News’ in this challenging moment?” an industry insider mused. “Any excuse you give the audience to change their habit is a massive risk. The habits are so fragile in this new media landscape. So if you give them an excuse to stop watching, they will.”

Still, CBS loyalists are clinging to hope like it’s the last lifeboat on the Titanic. “We are in this for the long term and are confident in our long game,” they insisted to the Mail. “We expected this.” Sure, and we expected the moon to be made of cheese. Meanwhile, ABC and NBC’s evening news programs are quietly sipping champagne as their ratings tick upward. “It’s almost impossible to build it once you’ve lost it,” a producer warned. “So to have a drop off like that suggests that this asset… is circling the drain.”
In short, CBS News has rolled the dice on a bold new format and landed on “ratings bankruptcy.” Stay tuned—next week they might replace the anchors with sock puppets and a kazoo orchestra.

Biden leaks strike plans and IRGC Commanders go into hiding

"I'm mahaman hum beh dee dah man"

It looks as if our alleged President leaks in more ways than one. He and his administration have been repeatedly leaking plans of alleged retaliatory strikes against those who were behind the murders of three U.S. soldiers and wounding about 40 other personnel. Predictably, those responsible, the commanders of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps have gone into hiding to avoid being "Qasem Solemeinied."

Thanks Joe--we knew we could count on you for f*****g things up.

CBS News reported that Biden officials confirmed  “that plans have been approved for a series of strikes over a number of days against targets — including Iranian personnel and facilities — inside Iraq and Syria.”

[H/T The Daily Wire.]

He might as well have gotten on top of the White House with a megaphone and mumbled his plans out to the public to forewarn the terrorists that we're coming for them with plans to blow them to smithereens.

Jennifer Griffin of Fox News, responded to the CBS report by noting that “all of those IRGC commanders have already left Syria and gone into hiding leaving those bases.”

“The Pentagon usually does not telegraph so much if it wants the element of surprise,” she added, implying that Biden wanted them to leave so he could put on a show for the public that he's finally do something.

The Biden administration tried to diminish Iran’s involvement in the over 160 Iranian-backed terrorist attacks against U.S. forces in the region over the last few months, telling Politico that they don’t believe Tehran has full control of the terrorist groups that it funds.

Why the administration is trying to take the heat off the world's biggest sponsor of global terrorism can possibly be explained by former Obama adviser Susan Rice, whose heart is in Iran.

Politico said that the “disclosure” by the Biden administration, “could lower the chance of the U.S. getting pulled into a direct confrontation with Iran,” as long as no terrorism commander gets hurt.

The Biden administration blames Israel for Iranian-backed terrorist groups attacking U.S. forces, saying that if Israel stopped trying to kill Hamas terrorists inside Gaza who carried out the October 7 terrorist attack, “there would at least be a tactical pause in the region by all Iran-backed groups,” Politico reported.

So all Israel had to do was to allow Hamas to do their thing and leave with no retaliation and those brave Americans would not have been killed.

The Biden administration is not only weak, it' cowardly and clearly anti-Semitic, because anti-Zionism is anti-Semitism.

Useless Secretary of State Lloyd Austin was asked on Thursday about IRGC commanders running for cover back to Iran to avoid being killed by U.S. forces.

“Has there been too much telegraphing, or is the point not to kill any Iranian commanders?” a reporter asked.

“In terms of telegraphing about strikes and whether or not people leave or would have left, you know, I won’t speculate on any of that,” Austin said, proving he's a 'good company man' who's should know the answer to that question. “I will just tell you that, you know, we will have a multi-tiered response, and again, we have the ability to respond in a number of times depending on what the situation is.”

Blah, blah, de blah.

Tom Cotton (R-AR) blasted the Biden boobs on Thursday for tipping off the terrorists saying that it's a reflection of  “Biden’s policy of fear and appeasement and conciliation.”

“Just like with Ukraine and before that with Afghanistan, he’s scared of his own shadow,” Cotton said. “He keeps worrying about escalation. What we saw over the weekend was a massive escalation by Iran. The only way to solve that threat is to directly target Iran’s terrorist forces throughout the region and in Iran itself, to make it clear that we will never tolerate the deaths of our fellow Americans.”

And for G_d's sale. quit blaming the victim, Israel.

ACLU defends a pedophile/murderer who was finally executed in FL

The far-left American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) is hardly American and hardly calls for civil liberties for all people; only their comrades on the left. They received intense flack this week after they defended a convicted murderer and pedophile who was finally given what he deserved: a one way ticket to hell.

It's likely the anti-American ACLU sided with the now dead pedophile-murderer--he wanted to have his genitals mutilated and disguise himself as a woman.

“The state of Florida never provided medically necessary gender-affirming care to Dxxxx Oxxx — causing her [him] enormous suffering,” the ACLU claimed, “and violating her right to be free from cruel and unusual punishment for the more than 30 years she was in state custody.” [My comments are in brackets, and the perpetrator's name has been censored.]

Oxxx’s lawyers tried to get him taken off death row by claiming that he was insane, which the state Supreme Court rejected. They also claimed that he was a delusional schizophrenic and was transgender, which placed him in victimhood status and an intersectional hero.

Expert psychiatrists testified that Owen showed no signs of either of the mental illnesses — schizophrenia and gender dysphoria, according to CBS News. The report said that the psychiatrists believed that it was an “act.”

Turns out he was just an evil dickweed.

Owen was sentenced to death for raping and stabbing a 14-year-old to death and raping a 38-year-old, who he beat to death with a hammer — both in 1984. He also attacked two other women, but they both survived.

The tweet elicited strong reactions online from people who called out the insanity of the matter, because some people cannot understand how someone who is just evil can do such horrible things to their fellow human beings.

“If HE had been executed in a timely manner, it wouldn’t have been a problem,” actor and brilliant conservative James Woods said in a tweet. “Then the loved ones of HIS murdered victims wouldn’t have been the ones who actually suffered for thirty years.”

Gays Against Groomers tweeted, “The @ACLU is very upset that a man who raped and murdered a 14 year old girl was never given ‘gender affirming care’ in prison before he was executed. This is not parody. Holy f*** these people are monsters.”

“The ACLU is working tirelessly to ensure that a delusional echo chamber — in which the suffering of a male serial rapist and murderer of women denied ‘medically necessary gender affirming care’ takes priority over his victims — encompasses the world and is mandated by law,” writer Wesley Yang tweeted.

“Try to imagine the mindset of the person who would read that tweet and bow their head in sorrow, shame, and indignation on behalf of the inhumane treatment of the male rapist and murderer of a mother and her 14-year old daughter denied ‘medically necessary gender affirming care,’” Yang added. “The ACLU fully inhabits that mindset and is sparing no expense to inflict it through the law everywhere in America.”

Another conservative, commentator Allie Beth Stuckey tweeted, “The only injustice in Owen’s case is that it took the state 40 years to execute him.”

The Left has gone completely crazy with their priorities, and the ACLU is only one example. Check out Capitol Hill if you want to see more insanity.

Man shouting and attacking cops with 5 foot steel bar shot and killed

Oxnard, CA -- Officers were responding to a DUI investigation on the side of the road when a man, Adam Barcenas, 60, who was not involved in the incident began shouting and wielding a 5-foot steel bar in a threatening manner was ordered to stop but continued to come toward three police officers on scene. Barcenas refused to stop and continued to come toward the officers and was shot three times.

The Oxnard Police Department has released bodycam video footage on March 17 of the incident. It should only be viewed [below] at your discretion as it is disturbing as it shows Barcenas confronting officers Shayn Schwartz, Alexus Santos and Bryce Parker. The latter two were assisting Officer Schwartz with the DUI incident.

Barcenas has a long history of violence, disorderly conduct and robbery, according to VC Star. He had also attacked two senior citizens in 2019 in Oxnard, one of whom, Armida Castro, 71, had died several days after the attack.

The bodycam footage shows the three patrol cars parked near a grassy area and bench outside the post office between A Street and Oxnard Boulevard. Santos is speaking to the DUI suspect and you can hear Barcenas shouting as he approached the cops, "Hey, you f**king pigs. I hate you."

Santos warned her fellow officers, "Watch out...get back," as Barcenas came into view holding a long steel rod. Santos pulled out her taser, as shown in the video.

Barcenas can be seen holding the bar and approaching Schwartz, and it looks like he was lifting the pole to strike when he was shot. He was then seen stumbling and dropping the pole, which is the disturbing part of the video, which shows the footage of all three bodycams from different viewpoints.

The incident was captured in three different bodycam footage. In all of them, officers can be heard shouting: "Hey, put it down!" After the shots were fired, Schwartz said to his radio: "Shots fired. Officer needs help." The department said three of the four rounds fired hot Barcenas, He was struck in his inner right thigh, left hip, and left upper torso. Barcenas was initially treated at the scene. He was later taken to Ventura County Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

The incident will now be investigated by the department's major crimes unit. The report will be submitted to the Ventura County District Attorney's Office for legal review, and an administrative review will be performed by the department's professional standards division to determine whether the cops' actions were in line with agency policy.

The DA's office will also be investigating the case to determine whether the use of force was legally justified.

True to form, the left-leaning media showed their bias.

CBS News, for example, had the headline: "Suspect allegedly armed with metal steel bar killed in Oxnard police shooting."

First of all, steel bars are metal so the headline is redundant, but let's not quibble.

What CBS leaves out is important information about the suspect.

Here's what they wrote:
A 60-year-old Oxnard resident died following an officer-involved shooting, police said.
The incident unfolded as officers were conducting a DUI investigation in the 100 block of West Fourth Street around 6 a.m. Sunday. There, the suspect who was not the subject of that probe allegedly ran toward officers with a metal steel bar.

As a result, police gave verbal commands to put the bar down. The suspect then allegedly continued to advance toward officers in a threatening manner, police said.
"Two of the police officers drew their department issued tasers, and one police officer drew his service weapon. The suspect advanced to within just a few feet of one of the police officers, prompting the officer involved shooting," Oxnard police said in a news release.

The suspect was struck by gunfire and was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. No officers were injured.

Anyone who might have witnessed the incident was asked to call Det. Meagan Tobey at (805) 385-7755.
It's almost as if CBS [and other left-leaning outlets] would like us to believe the suspect, who they don't name, was simply a resident of Oxnard and not the obvious miscreant his history shows.

Nobody should have to die in such an incident as what took place in Oxnard, but when you leave out key information, and especially fail to show the bodycam footage of what took place, you're creating more distrust and hatred for the police and may even be promoting protests and violence in a situation in which the police response was justified.

But let's not pretend the mainstream media has no agenda.

Suspect arrested in San Francisco synagogue shooting

An suspect has been arrested in connection with a shooting inside the Schneerson Center, a synagogue in San Francisco, on February 4th.

The suspect, Dmitri Mishin, is believed to have fired several shots at worshipers before cowardly fleeing. It turns out that he was firing blanks, which would have been great if his father had done the same 51 years ago before Dmitri was conceived. But fortunately, nobody was hurt and no damage was caused other than what was likely a trauma that will last a lifetime for those who thought they were going to die.

Mishin is being held on suspicion of disturbing a religious assembly, brandishing an imitation firearm and causing another to refrain from engaging in a religious service, according to CBS News.

Sadly, nobody in the congregation was armed to return fire, but California has some of the strictest gun laws in the country and guns are only carried by people who don't care about abiding by the law to prey on those who do.

He entered the Jewish place of worship and “[started] shooting in the air everywhere, and talking about the Mossad, and this and that, and craziness, and then he seems to [waiver] and leave,” Alon Chanukov, junior rabbi and vice president of the Schneerson Center, told CBS.

The outlet reported that Mishin is also a suspect in a similar incident that occurred on Tuesday night at a theater about a kilometer from the synagogue.

Investigators reportedly found evidence connecting Mishin to both incidents during a search of his home.

DC top cop gets no confidence vote after newly appointed

Acting US Capitol Police Chief Yoganada Pittman replaced former Chief Steven Sund after his resignation resulting from the January 6th Capitol incursion. [H/T CBS News]

In spite of the fact that Pittman fits the intersectional victimhood criteria as a woman of color, she received a no confidence vote in her inherited role.

The U.S. Capitol Police Labor Committee, which represents Capitol Police officers, announced that 92 percent of those participating in a recent ballot voted that they had no confidence in Pittman, as reported by CBS News. Other top leaders also received a no confidence vote after the Capitol incursion.

“Capitol Police offers have delivered an overwhelming vote of No Confidence in the senior leadership of the U.S. Capitol Police,” the union said in a news release.

“The Executive Board of the Capitol Police Union called for rank-and-file members to consider a vote of no confidence late last week following the senior leadership’s mishandling of the insurrection at the Capitol on January 6th,” the union said. “The board took this unprecedented step after reviewing details of the events on, and leading up to, January 6th and the subsequent deaths of 6 people, and injuries to approximately 140 Capitol and Metropolitan Police officers.”

“[O]ur leadership clearly failed us. We know because we were there,” union chairman Gus Papathanasiou said in a statement, according to CBS News.

“The past week of the impeachment trial showed members of Congress and the entire country, devastating details of the violence that Capitol Police officers faced during the insurrection,” Papathanasiou said, according to Fox News. “It was the darkest day in the history of the department.”

Papathanasiou said there are leaders within the department who are better suited for leadership than Pittman and the rest of the current leadership team.

“We hope Congressional leaders and the entire Capitol Hill community understands that continuing with the current USCP leadership is not an option,” he said.

“The current leadership is just a continuation of the past regimes on this Department and there needs to be accountability. Their failures are inexcusable. This vote, which the majority of the officers in the bargaining unit participated in, shows they have lost our trust. The anger in this department is widespread and the trust that has been broken it is not going to be regained.”

Pittman has said the department knew before the pro-Trump rally that took place Jan. 6 that the demonstration would not be a typical protest. Democrats accused then-President Donald Trump of “inciting an insurrection” with his speech that day, but that wasn't true if you listened to his words.

It isn't clear, however, how much they knew and when they knew it and is the subject of a letter from House Republicans to Speaker Nancy "Frenetic Hands" Pelosi, according to Fox News.

The letter was submitted by House Administration Committee Ranking Member Rodney Davis of Illinois, House Judiciary Committee Ranking Member Jim Jordan of Ohio, House Oversight Committee Ranking Member James Comer of Kentucky and House Intelligence Committee Ranking Member Devin Nunes of California.

It seeks to understand what was done about Sund’s early warning about the Jan. 6 rally.

Sund said that on January 4th, he approached the House Sergeant at Arms Paul Irving asking for National Guard support but Irving seemed more concerned about "the optics" of a Guard deployment and didn't believe the "intelligence supported it."

Now we have thousands of National Guard troops at the Capitol for an interminable amount of time before Pelosi has them relieved of their post and return home to their families and jobs.

AG Barr slams Mueller, calls Steele dossier very troubling and more

Attorney General Bill Barr spoke with CBS's Catherine Herridge on Thursday about the FBI's use of the Steele dossier in the investigation into the Trump campaign. The most troubling aspect is the fact that it could have contained Russian disinformation. [And the Democrats accuse Republicans of colluding with Russia!]

"Based on the evidence that you have seen," Herridge began, "did senior FBI officials conspire to throw out the national security adviser?"

“Well, as I said, this is a particular episode,” Barr replied. “And it has some troubling features to it, as we’ve discussed. But I think, you know, that’s a question that really has to wait an analysis of all the different episodes that occurred through the summer of 2016 and the first several months of President Trump’s administration.”

In the interview, Herridge mentioned the Steele dossier and how the footnotes suggested that it was "the product of Russian disinformation."

“And there were multiple warnings to the FBI at that time, yet they continued to use that. How do you explain that?” Herridge asked Barr.

“I think that’s one of the most troubling aspects of this whole thing,” Barr said. “And, in fact, I said it in testimony on the Hill, I can’t remember if it was my confirmation, that I said I was very concerned about the possibility that that dossier and Steele’s activities were used as a vector for the Russians to inject disinformation into the political campaign.”

“I think that is something that Robert Mueller was responsible for looking at under his charter, which is the potential of Russian influence,” Barr continued. “But I think it was ignored and there was mounting indications that this could very well have been happening and no one really stopped to look at it.”

It was ignored because Trump beat Clinton.

Later in the interview Barr was asked about the DOJ's decision to drop the charges against former national security adviser and former three-star General Michael Flynn. He explained that the department acted out of a sense of justice and "undid what was an injustice," and added, "it's not gonna be the end of it."

Herridge asked him to elaborate on his statement that it was “not gonna be the end of it,” and he responded, “I said we’re gonna get to the bottom of what happened.”

Herridge asked about the U.S. Attorney John Durham's current criminal investigation into the roots of the Russia investigation. Barr said,  “Well, as you know, I’m not gonna predict the outcome. But I said that we’re certainly — there probably will be a report as a byproduct of his work. But we also are seeing if there are people who violated the law and should be brought to justice. And that’s what we have our eye on.”

Finally, Barr was asked whether those involved in the Flynn case, a clear miscarriage of justice, he responded,  “I don’t wanna get into particular individuals.”

Hopefully the nation will see real justice carried out and those responsible in the FBI and elsewhere, will be held accountable. But don't hold your breath.

'Network admits what the 'BS' stands for in CBS News

"All the News that fits our narrative"
CBS "News" has admitted that a video they recently played was partially staged  while denying they didn't know it was staged when they were staging it to make it look as if the Cherry Medical Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan was crowded due to the pandemic.

The BS piece showed a clip in which myriad vehicles were staged in line for COVID-19 testing.

In reality, CBS got nailed by Project Veritas.

Like CNN's Jim "I Love Me" Acosta, the event was kabuki theater to fake a message that went along with their agenda.

“Our insider witnessed the whole thing and came to Project Veritas, because he knew we would protect him,” James O’Keefe, founder of the organization, said. “The insider told us that medical personnel were taken away from treating patients and making the line longer for actual patients wait for the COVID-19 test.”

And all the while the two-fisted, hard-hitting, investigating "reporters" at CBS had no clue they were being tricked.
Project Veritas said O’Keefe asked the insider: “You’re telling me you’re a hundred percent certain that CBS News, CBS News Corporation — national — staged a fake event. They faked the news. They faked the reality and broadcasted that to all of their audience last Friday on ‘CBS This Morning.'”

O’Keefe said the insider replied, “a hundred percent. Absolutely.”

The organization quoted its anonymous insider, (whose name was not used for obvious reasons) saying, “based on my knowledge, CBS News had asked Cherry Health to fabricate a line to obtain newsworthy footage, I was given this knowledge from a colleague at Cherry Health.”

“After reviewing their response, I can say definitively that the majority of the line shown in their footage is fake. After CBS had gotten the shot they wanted the entire line dispersed and drove in separate directions,” the insider said.

So what part of "they didn't know" did they not know? Who was driving which vehicle? How much gas was in each vehicle's tank?

“Some [vehicles] did U-turns, others parked in nearby parking and the rest just drove through the testing site without being tested,” the insider explained.

“As I stated previously, the nurses did exclaim frustration as it caused an unduly long wait time for a patient that actually needed the testing.”

But thankfully, there were no immediate emergencies waiting intervention.

An accompanying video included a comment from a man labeled as Nick Ross and identified as a corporate cleaning site supervisor at the facility.

“Apparently the news crew wanted more people in the line because they knew it was scheduled,” Ross said.

“We pretended. There were a couple of real patients, which made it worse,” Alison Mauro-Lantz, a registered nurse, was recorded on hidden camera as saying.

“We had no clue that we’re going to have to, like, do fake patients,” another woman, also identified as a nurse said in the video.

But when Project Veritas asked Cherry Health President and CEO Tasha Blackmon, she lied and said the facility never created a line for the cameras.

“We and CBS News had nothing to do with that line,” Blackmon said.

CBS said it never did such a thing, and blamed the medical center.

“CBS News did not stage anything at the Cherry Health facility. Any suggestion to the contrary is 100% false. These allegations are alarming,” the network said in a statement to Project Veritas.

What they must have meant was that none of the people in the vehicles worked for CBS News directly--an honest mistake if you're Brian Stelter.

“We reached out to Cherry Health to address them immediately. They informed us for the first time that one of their chief officers told at least one staffer to get in the testing line along with real patients. No one from CBS News had any knowledge of this before tonight. They also said that their actions did not prevent any actual patients from being tested. We take the accuracy of our reporting very seriously and we are removing the Cherry Health portion from the piece.”

So, at least their lie didn't cause any actual people from being tested, so it was only a white racist lie.

But Blackmon said she was innocent of any subterfuge as her nose grew three times its normal size.

“Let me be clear: We are not aware of CBS staging anything as part of their visit to our site,” she said, as her shnozzola grew another inch. “I have never spoken with the president of CBS, or any other CBS executive.”

“I can assure you that I did not instruct any staff to get in their cars and line up and I have no idea when it was filmed or who was in each car.”

The question therefore is, who instructed staff to get in their cars and line up?

“How many more stories have staged events to support a media outlet’s narrative,” O'Keefe said. “CBS News was caught because someone stepped forward. We need more insiders to come forward — especially as our leaders make decisions during this pandemic based on what they see in the news.”

O’Keefe said that seeing fake news on TV is as common as President Trump's use of the words, "tremendous," "very, very," "they should be ashamed," and "good job."

And to Project Veritas I say: "Good job."

CBS deletes a "fact check" proving Trump was wrong

CBS "News" deleted what they laughingly referred to as a "fact check" of one of President Trump's claims during his national Oval Office address on Tuesday. This came after it showed that the president underestimated the number of women who are sexually assaulted traveling to the southern border.  (HT Daily Wire)

"Women and children are the biggest victims by far of our broken system," Trump said about the explosion of illegal immigration at the U.S.-Mexico border. "One in three women are sexually assaulted on the dangerous trek up through Mexico."

Trump's numbers were clearly way off.

CBS ran a live "fact check" of Trump's speech, and posted this:
Fact check: 1 in 3 women sexually assaulted while traveling to cross the border.
CLAIM: The president claimed one in three women have been sexually assaulted traveling to the border.
FACT: Between 60 percent and 80 percent of female migrants traveling through Mexico are raped along the way, Amnesty International estimates.
That's right, Trump said two out of three women are sexually assaulted crossing the border, but the real number is more like two out of three, and up to eight out of ten women are sexually assaulted.

CBS realized their gift of truth to the President and quickly deleted it. This is what fake news looks like and it should concern anyone looking to prevent the United States from becoming a third world country.

CBS anchor tries to blame DHS official on child's death. He asks: 'Um, have you heard of doctors?'

The Leftist media is doing all it can to frame DHS with the death of an 8-year-old Guatemalan boy who died coming across the border.

On Wednesday, CBS "news" anchors pummeled U.S. Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Kevin McAleenan with questions, all of which attempted to put the blame for the child's death on his agency.

However, McAleenan made it clear that the decision to release the boy from the hospital was a decision made by the hospital professional medical staff, certainly not that of DHS. Any idiot should be aware of that save for CBS news, it appears.

Co-anchor Dana Jacobson’s first question to McAleenan: “In our reporting earlier, Commissioner, it was that the child had a 103-degree fever earlier in the day. Why bring a sick child back to a detention center instead of keeping him at the hospital?”

McAneenan replied, “That’s a call made by the medical professionals.”

As Newsbusters notes, Jacobson apparently couldn’t process McAleenan’s answer, so she pressed: “But are you satisfied with the medical conditions and facilities, I guess, resources – that are available at these detention centers? Should sick children come back into your custody there?”

McAleenan, stifling his exasperation, replied: “I’ve explained to Congress, I’ve testified on this, I’ve talked about it publicly for months and months,” before explaining in detail what Jacobson apparently couldn’t understand.

Later in the segment, CBS News correspondent and author Tony Dokoupil implied other illegal immigrant children might have died after being held by DHS, saying, “I'm curious. We know of two children who’ve died in the past month. Can you guarantee us that there are not more children that we have not heard about that have also passed away?”

Dokoupil obviously was trying to get him to confess that somehow it's the poor facilities of the United States that caused the deaths of the children, not the irresponsible behavior of the caretakers of these children who hauled them thousands of miles on a dangerous journey.

Let's be clear--if you drag your kid thousands of miles through dangerous territory and sadly he or she dies from the journey, do you really believe the blame goes to the people who have tried to render care and may have failed, or to the idiots who bring the children into the danger?

Tillerson slams Trump who then says Tillerson 'is as dumb as a rock'

Former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson appeared on CBS News journalist Bob Schieffer sitting down with the veteran newsman during a fundraiser for the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, the Houston Chronicle reported.

Tillerson spoke about President Trump and some observations during his tenure as Secretary of State, saying that he always had to remind President Trump that some of his plans wold "violate the law." He also said that he and Trump did not share a "common value system" and were "obviously starkly different in our styles."

President Trump, who is no shrinking violet, fired back that Tillerson saying that he was "as dumb as a rock."

“When the president would say, ‘Here's what I want to do, and here's how I want to do it,’ and I'd have to say to him, ‘Well, Mr. President, I understand what you want to do, but you can't do it that way. It violates the law, it violates the treaty, you know. He got really frustrated,” Tillerson said. “I think he grew tired of me being the guy every day who told him he can’t do that and let’s talk about what he can do.”

He said he told President Trump that he would be willing to “fight the fight” to change laws in Congress so the president could press forward with his agenda.

Trump also fired back on Twitter, saying Tillerson "didn't have the mental capacity needed" as the nation's top diplomat.

But let us not forget that President Trump picked him.
"He was dumb as a rock and I couldn’t get rid of him fast enough," Trump said. "He was lazy as hell. Now it is a whole new ballgame, great spirit at State!"
Tillerson, 66, was fired from the White House in March after rumors of a rift between him and Trump had been circulating for some time. In leaving, Tillerson said Washington, D.C., can be a “very mean-spirited town.”
Rex's Parents

Tillerson also contended Trump tends to act “on his instincts”  and this was incongruent to the way Tillerson worked. “What was challenging for me – coming from the disciplined, highly process-oriented ExxonMobil corporation – to go to work for a man who is pretty undisciplined, doesn’t like to read, doesn’t read briefing reports, doesn’t like to get into the details of a lot of things, but rather just kinda says, ‘Look, this is what I believe,’” Tillerson explained.

Tillerson also believes that there is no question that Russia interfered in the 2016 election and seeks to "undermine our confidence and undermine the world's confidence in us," the Houston Chronicle reported.

President Trump replaced Tillerson with Mike Pompeo, and it's clear that Pompeo is doing a better job and is much more qualified than Tillerson.

Hillary says Bill's office BJ was not abuse of power

Hillary Clinton was interviewed by CBS News correspondent Tony Dokoupil on "Sunday Morning."

He asked the former first lady, former senator, former secretary of state and former 2016 presidential campaign losing candidate if she believed her husband's affair with then-22-year-old White House intern Monica Lewinsky was an abuse of power.

"Absolutely not," she said without cracking a smile. She even said that Bill was right not to resign amid the scandal the led to his impeachment on perjury and obstruction charges.

"It wasn't an abuse of power?" Dokoupil asked incredulously because when a 49-year-old U.S. president gets an Oval Office BJ by a young, impressionable intern, it is abuse of his office, no matter what Hillary says.

But Clinton responded, "No. No." She said that it wasn't an abuse of power because Lewinsky "was an adult" at the time of the BJ in the Oval Office.

Clinton then skirted over the issue by talking about Trump.

"But let me ask you this: Where's the investigation of the current incumbent, against whom numerous allegations have been made, and which he dismisses, denies, and ridicules?" she said, hoping Dokoupil forgot the original topic. "So, there was an investigation [of Bill], and it, as I believe, came out in the right place."

Came out in the right place? Is she kidding? Monica Lewinsky was just one of many who the #MeToo movement failed to prosecute. Let's never forget Bill's alleged rape victim, Juanita Broadderick. She actually has some corroboration to her allegation.

Clinton's comments came swiftly after she rejected comparisons between Bill's actions and the uncorroborated allegations leveled at Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. In fact, she called the swearing-in ceremony at the White House "a political rally," at a Comedy News Network (CNN) last week.

Hillary, however, is a political joke. I hope she runs again in 2020.

Is Trump right about video games?

On the heels of the Feb. 14 Parkland, Florida school shooting, President Trump told gaming industry leaders on Thursday that video games have been linked to real-world violence. The shooting also launched a predictable political debate over gun control laws.

But is Trump correct? Are video games a contributing factor, a catalyst, to armed violence?

The science is not "in." The issue remains unsolved, and opinion goes both ways.

Trump spoke with the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) less than a month since the shooting which killed 17. It was the latest mass shooting in the USA with over 30,000 gun-related deaths, mostly from suicide followed by handguns, many of which are obtained illegally and used in gun violence in Democratically controlled cities with tough gun control laws that are often not enforced by law enforcement.

After the mass shooting, Trump said that video games might be a possible contributing factor in firearms violence.

In a January 16, 2018 paper in Science Daily, researchers found no evidence to support Trump's belief that video games make players more violent.

The series of experiments had over 3,000 participants and demonstrated that video game concepts "do not 'prime' players to behave in certain ways and that increasing the realism of violent video games does not necessarily increase aggression in game players."

The dominant model of learning in games is that by exposing players to concepts, such as violence in games, makes those concepts easier to use in 'real life.' This is known as priming

The left-leaning CBS News released a study by The Radiological Society of North America that showed playing violent video games might actually produce temporary neural changes that help control emotions, rather than cause violence though priming.

Brain scans in 11 young men who shot at video game characters for about 10 hours in a week's time had decreased activity in areas of the brain associated with inhibition, attention, and decision-making.

After the Florida shooting, Trump said that he's "hearing more and more people say the level of violence on video games is really shaping young people's thoughts," and rather than exploring the data and making an informed decision, he believes that speaking to interest groups will help decide what he hopes to do.

Let me be the first to say here, I do not play violent video games nor would I want my family to play them. I think they're horrible, but I also believe in the First Amendment, and there is no conclusive proof that they cause people to act violently.

Oh, and another point, most mass shooters are over 21. The real problem with the last tragedy wasn't the gun nor the shooter's age; it was clearly law enforcement's failure to do its job.

Freaking period!

CBS fires top lawyer: no sympathy for Vegas victims

The face of hate
Politics has gotten to the point where it's crazy and the people who define the opposite side of the aisle as 'evil' are mentally ill. I'm primarily speaking about Democrats, because that's how they see Republicans.

Hayley Geftman-Gold, a top lawyer for CBS, bragged that she is "not even sympathetic" to victims of the Vegas shooting because "country music fans often are Republican" [and when they aren't they should be killed for liking country music, I suppose] when she spoke about the tragic shooting Saturday night that left at least 58 dead and 500 wounded or injured.

This woman is CBS's vice president and senior counsel. Can you believe she took to Facebook after the gunman opened fire at the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival in Las Vegas.

"If they wouldn't do anything when children were murdered I have no hope that Repugs [sic] will ever do the right thing," the asshat wrote in a now-deleted message that was first captured and reported by the Daily Caller

The heartless sicko went on: "I'm actually not even sympathetic bc [sic] country music fans often are Republican gun toters [sic]."

Her reference is probably regarding the Sandy Hook shooting, in Newtown, Connecticut in 2012, in which Adam Lanza, 20, killed 20 children and six adults. The solution to these horrible shootings, in the minds of liberals, is to have tougher gun control laws.

How's that working out for Detroit and Chicago? Their laws are among the toughest in the country and these cities are among the highest gun-related homicide rate in the country.

And the guns that are guilty of murder, used by the gang-bangers, are illegal handguns, not 'assault weapons.'

Geftman-Gold has worked for CBS since 2016 and is a graduate from Columbia University law school in 2000, according to her LinkedIn bio. Evidently, the standards at Columbia have come way down--one need not be a Republican to think that there's something wrong with her thinking.

The heartless Hillary Clinton lover doesn't work directly for the network's news division and a company spokeswoman told Fox News that "CBS is looking into the matter."

Yes, CBS has to look into whether it's okay to say you have no sympathy for dead Republicans. I wonder what they'll decide--I can't wait.

Obviously, Geftman-Gold has the right to say whatever horrible thing she wants, just like the idiots on their NFL knees do, but their employers do not have the obligation to forgo any consequences they deem appropriate for such callousness and stupidity.

FBI evidently confronted Eric "Boom Boom" Swalwell over the weekend and hoo boy

It has been a rough stretch for former Rep. Eric "Boom Boom" Swalwell . You know, the guy who's known for the fart heard round...
