It's becoming abundantly clear that politicians on the Left would go to any lengths to stay in power, but who ever thought they would go so far as to set the stage for a former president, who is running for a second term, to be assassinated? It's un-American, it's evil, and it's disgusting.

Just one day after another failed assassination attempt on Donald Trump, the former twice-failed presidential candidate, former Democratic Senator from New York, and former first lady Hillary Clinton, said that President Trump posed "a danger to our country and the world."

How freaking ridiculous. How hyperbolic and dangerous are words like that which fall on the ears of the lunatics who crave fame and believe that Trump is a threat to democracy and the planet. And let's be very clear: Clinton knows it. She knows how provocative saying crazy s**t like that is to people who believe that killing Trump is the only moral thing to do.

And now it's okay to say that crap out loud?

Forget the failures of the Secret Service leadership. Forget that the leadership of the FBI is in the bag for the Democrats along with Homeland Security and the Department of Justice. This is incitement and it needs to stop!

Of course freedom of speech is guaranteed in the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, but incitement of violence isn't included in that freedom. 

In spite of this, all the legacy media, not including Fox News, has scores of people saying that it's Trump's fault that people have tried to assassinate him two times [thus far].

FDNY will be hunting down firefighters who booed Letitia James

The full-figure NY Attorney General Letitia "Get Trump" James spoke to the FDNY firefighters in a ceremony at a Brooklyn church last week. It went over like a fart in a 2-man submarine.

Now the head of the FDNY is pushing back against a report that they are actually "hunting" down firefighters who booed and shouted "Trump, Trump, Trump." 

"Oh, come on. We’re in a house of God. First, Uhm, simmer down,” the New York AG said, attempting to simmer the crowd down. “Thank you for getting it out of your system,” she finished up with, rudely talking to these men as if they were children.

In a statement, FDNY Chief of Department John Hodgens said that the firefighters who disrupted James’s speech will be forced to take woke “re-education” classes and may be forced to adopt their own pronouns.

And while they claim to not be hunting down the protestors, they want them to turn themselves in so that they can be disciplined.

"Nobody is hunting anyone down," FDNY spokesman Jim Long told Fox News Digital in an email on Sunday morning. "We’re looking into those who clearly broke department regulations. It has nothing to do with politics. It’s about professionalism at an official event held in a house of worship."

Re-education has everything to do with politics--it's the opposite of freedom of expression as found in the U.S. Constitution and it's a Marxist tactic.

The New York Post first reported that FDNY Chief of Department John Hodgens wrote in an email to department brass that the FDNY’s Bureau of Investigation and Trials was investigating the incident and "will figure out who those members are." If that doesn't sound like hunting down people, I don't know what to say.

"I recommend they come forward. I have been told by the commissioner it will be better for them if they come forward and we don’t have to hunt them down," Hodges said in the email obtained by the Post. If that doesn't sound even more like the FDNY plans to hunt down their Trump supporters, you cannot be convinced otherwise.

The booing erupted as James walked up to the podium to honor the swearing-in of the first full-figure African American woman chaplain of the FDNY, the Rev. Pamela Holmes, as well as other first responders.

Following the ceremony, Hodgens admonished the rowdy behavior of the firefighters.

"Today’s ceremony was about one thing: the accomplishments of the members being promoted," he said. "The members whose behavior distracted from that celebration were an embarrassment and not befitting of the world's best fire department."

James led the months-long civil trial against Trump in New York City that alleged the former president had inflated his assets and committed fraud.

Judge Arthur Engoron handed down his ruling last month, finding Trump liable for more than $350 million in damages and barring him from operating his business in New York for three years.

SCOTUS rules on Washington high school coach who was fired for prayers

Joe Kennedy, a high school football coach in Washington state who was fired by the school district over post-game prayers was reinstated to his old job by March 2023, as ruled by the court documents filed on Tuesday.

Kennedy coached at Bremerton High School and was put on leave in 2015 for reciting prayers to the Lord at the 50-yard-line following the conclusion of games.

Initially, the coach prayed by himself, but eventually he was joined in prayer by students from his and the opposing teams.

Court documents state that this evolved into motivational speeches that also included religious themes.

After an opposing coach, who likely lost to Kennedy, brought it to the principal's attention and Kennedy was told by the school district to desist, which he did for a while, and then notified the school that he would resume praying as before. 

The story grew in the media, who hates religion in general, and when Kennedy announced that he was going back to praying on the field, it raised concerns for is safety. But when he did pray after a game, many people would rush onto the gridiron in support.

The district offered to allow Kennedy to pray in other locations before and after games, or for him to pray on the 50-yard line after everyone else had left the premises, but he refused, insisting that he would continue his regular practice. After continuing the prayers at two more games, the school district placed Kennedy on leave. As far as he was concerned, they could go to hell.

The case made its way to the U.S. Supreme Court this past June and ruled in favor of Kennedy getting his old job back. Something about freedom of speech and an old government document that had stuff about inalienable rights or something along those lines. 

Yes, Kennedy's prayers on the field were protected under the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

Per the court documents filed Tuesday, Kennedy must be reinstated to his previous position as assistant coach of the Bremerton High School football team on or before the "ides of March" [aka March 15] 2023. The Bremerton School District cannot retaliate against Kennedy for "conduct that complies with the terms of the Court’s Order," the court documents say.

The district also cannot interfere with or prohibit Kennedy from offering a prayer consistent with the Supreme Court’s opinion, so yes indeed, they can go to hell.

Kennedy is also entitled to attorneys’ fees and costs, but the district has said those fees will ultimately be decided by the U.S. District Court after an "exacting process.

Kennedy and the district will file a joint submission on Nov. 8 detailing either side’s proposed wording on the disputed issues and relief issued to Kennedy.

Secret Service investigates teacher for alleged threat to our VP

The U.S. Secret Service is charged with the protection of the president and vice president and are now looking into an allegation that a North Carolina high school teacher told her classroom of impressionable students that Vice President Mike Pence "should be shot in the head," according to many reports.

"The woman allegedly told her class at Cuthbertson High School in Union County that Pence should be 'shot in the head,' WJZY reported over the weekend," The Charlotte Observer wrote.

The teacher, who has not been identified, made the statement the same week Mr. Pence stopped in Union County to campaign for the GOP congressional candidate Rep. Dan Bishop.

Officials of Union County Public Schools say they are taking the allegations "very seriously" and the teacher has been placed on administrative leave according to a statement provided to WBTV and other news outlets. The Observer said the Secret Service is investigating.

It seems as if our national politics has become our national religion. People who still cannot get over the 2016 presidential defeat of Hillary Clinton and exhibit Trump Derangement Syndrome, in many cases have become dangerous and are willing to get physically violent as evidenced with Antifa, for one example. But a school teacher making such a violent statement should be disciplined and investigated.

The school district said in a statement: 

"Union County Public Schools is aware of the allegation of inappropriate comments made by a Cuthbertson High School teacher. District administrators are taking this allegation seriously and an investigation is being conducted. This is a personnel matter and information related to this alleged incident is protected by state law."

NBC Charlotte spoke with former FBI assistant director Chris Swecker regarding what the investigation might entail. “I’m sure they will eventually get around to going out and interviewing the teacher,” Swecker told the station.

Swecker explained that federal authorities will probably be trying to answer several questions to determine whether criminal charges will be filed. Americans have a First Amendment right to say almost anything they wish to say, but that right does not extend to making threats of violence or inciting violence.

Swecker explained that it must be taken into consideration as to whether the statement was an imminent threat and whether she has the means [weapons, for example] to carry out her words. Officials will also look into whether she has made other threats and if she has a criminal record--if she does, then why is she working in a public school?

“Whether it was actually an imminent threat, does she have weapons?” Swecker said. “Have other threats been made? Does she have a criminal record?”

The teacher's comments prompted criticism in the community.

"You should not be bringing in those type of viewpoints to your job," Union County GOP Chair Allison Powers told WBTV.

Powers isn't calling for the teacher to be fired, but says the comment was inappropriate. "To just wish that kind of violence on anybody is just way out of bounds,” Powers said.

Firas Obeid [whose name also spells: "die for bias"], a parent to two students at the school, said he doesn't necessarily support the vice president, but also said the comment was wrong. "This is the vice president of the United States. He's an elected official,” Obeid told the station. "Affiliation to a specific party does not entitle us to make a statement like that to anyone.” He is correct.

Union County, along with neighboring Mecklenburg County, are in the state’s 9th Congressional District where Bishop narrowly won a special election against Democrat Dan McCready this month. Trump and Pence both visited the district, along with Donald Trump Jr. 

Their visits pushed Bishop over the top, political analysts said, and this may have caused the teacher to lose her rational mind.

Weird Frederica Wilson wants to incarcerate you if you make fun of her

Looney tune Frederica Wilson, a Democratic [naturally] congresswoman representing Florida's 24th District went to an immigrant detention concentration camp with a congressional delegation on Tuesday. After the visit she said that people who use their freedom of speech to freely say whatever they want about members of Congress "should be prosecuted" if they make fun of her and other idiots in her party such as Alexandria Obviously-Cretinous.

"They went inside around 1 p.m. with the purpose of investigating the conditions that migrant children are living in" [and which they helped create by refusing to fund border facilities and personnel working at the border], CBS Miami reported.

"Joining [Weird] Wilson was fellow South Florida Rep. Donna Shalala (FL-27), Rep. Bennie Thompson (MA-02), Rep. Brenda Lawrence (MI-14), Rep Yvette Clarke (NY-09), Rep. Katherine Clark (MA-05), Rep. John Lewis (GA-05) and Rep. Madeleine Dean (PA-04)."

"Those people who are online making fun of members of Congress are a disgrace and there is no need for anyone to think that is acceptable," Wilson said during a press conference. "We are going to shut them down and work with whoever it is to shut them down, and they should be prosecuted" for exercising their First Amendment rights. She called for a new law enforcement team to be assembled in order to deal with people who make fun of her and wants to call them "Black Shirts."

If Trump refuses to form a Black Shirts team, Wilson plans to call on Antifa to assuage the problem with their form of intervention.

Later during the press conference, Wilson said: "This administration has shown a blatant disregard for the mental and physical health of children in custody. They’re spending weeks, and even months, in detention conditions that are tantamount to living under house arrest. We are upset about it."

[When President Obama had the children put in cages, Wilson said:]

Wilson, wearing her signature clown hat, added: "We came today to say we will shut this down because this does not have to be this way. These children can be processed and sent to foster care, they can be processed and sent to next of kin, aunts, grandmothers, people in the community who know them and that’s what we are fighting for today."

Then she ripped up her Congressional copy of the U.S. Constitution and threw the pieces in the air laughing maniacally all the while.

Wilson garnered national recognition in October 2017 over a spat she had with then-White House chief of staff John Kelly, who called the idiot "someone that is that empty a barrel" for allegedly using "a presidential call to Gold Star widow Myeshia Johnson for her own political gain."

Wilson later laughed over the whole ordeal, which sparked national outrage, after she said on camera: "I'm a rockstar now."

By "rockstar" she meant "rock head in a cheap cowgirl hat." 

If it was up to the left, only they would have full constitutional rights.

Carlos Maza has hissy fit over Ted Cruz defending Steven Crowder. Cruz destroys him

The stream of BlazeTV's  "Louder With Crowder" has been demonetized by YouTube mainly because they don't have a backbone or a single set of cojones amongst the entire staff at YouTube. Steven Crowder, the conservative comedian, was shut down after complains by the lisping gay Mexican activist Carlos Maza.

Maza is formerly of Media Matters, so that should tell you where his head is at when it isn't elsewhere [i.e., stuck in his nether regions]. The Vox activist went berserk over Cruz’s voiced support for free speech and traded words with the Republican Senator from the great state of Texas.

"This is ridiculous. YouTube is not the Star Chamber — stop playing God & silencing those voices you disagree with. This will not end well," said Cruz on Thursday.

In a subsequent tweet, Cruz wrote: 

"This is nuts. YouTube needs to explain why [Steven Crowder] is banned, but [Samantha Bee] ('Ivanka is a feckless c***.') & [Jim Carrey] ('look at my pretty picture of Gov. Kay Ivey being murdered in the womb') aren’t. No coherent standard explains it. Here’s an idea: DON’T BLACKLIST ANYBODY."

Maza took a shot at Cruz and, without a shred of even one example, insanely accused YouTube of being biased in favor of "right-wingers."

"A U.S. senator is coming to the defense of someone who spent two years calling me a 'lispy queer,'" the lispy queer responded. He actually refers to himself as a "queer" so in respect to his use of a personal pronoun, so will I.

"They do this because they know that [YouTube] cares more about looking fair to right-wingers than it does about stopping hate speech and harassment," he said, proving that he is delusional.

In follow-up tweets, Maza claimed that the censorship of right-learning creators on big tech platforms is not actually censorship and protested against "hate speech," a vaguely defined, subjective term that's as honest as the term "Islamophobia." That is, the term "hate speech" usually means any speech the person making the accusation wants to shut down, a totally unconstitutional move.

"Conservatives have spent years arguing that even basic content moderation is a form of 'censorship.' Their goal is to scare platforms like [YouTube] away from enforcing their hate speech policies. And it’s working, because YouTube doesn’t have the guts to protect its creators," the lispy queer dishonestly wrote.

"You can’t give these people an inch. They won’t stop crying ‘liberal bias!’ until they’re allowed to use hate speech with impunity. And that’s exactly what [YouTube] is allowing them to do,” Maza whined, not defining his use of the term.

"Sigh," replied Cruz. "This individual claims to be a 'journalist.' Then he throws a fit & demands that YouTube CENSOR views he doesn’t like."

"Here’s a crazy idea," offered Sen. Cruz, "if you don’t like what [Steven Crowder] says, ARGUE AGAINST HIM. Make your case in what John Stuart Mill called the 'marketplace of ideas.'"

This confused Maza. He had no idea why a cereal company would have any say in the matter about marketplaces.

On Tuesday, YouTube admitted that Steven Crowder's videos "don’t violate" any of their policies after "conducting an in-depth review of the videos flagged" by queer activist Carlos Maza. But the platform reversed course after the queer activist threw a hissy Twitter fit, accusing YouTube of being anti-LGBT and encouraging LGBT employees at the company to "walk out" in protest.

The scared the bejeezus out of YouTube as they feared the world would not see them as being woke and not respect the wishes of queers and transgender minorities by refusing to go along with their demands.

"Update on our continued review–we have suspended this channel’s monetization," YouTube said on Wednesday, as they capitulated to the demands of the drama queen. 

"We came to this decision because a pattern of egregious actions has harmed the broader community and is against our YouTube Partner Program policies.”

YouTube is full of crap. Their Partner Program policies is a moving target and constantly changing as it moves ever further to the left. If you want to see our First Amendment rights disappear, you can just sit back and do nothing. 'Unplanned' movie causes Twitter explosion

Twitter went ballistic on Sunday after scores of folks were upset because they weren't able to follow the pro-life movie "Unplanned," which was shown in movies over the weekend.

The ongoing "mysterious" problems with the movie's Twitter account come after it was somehow banned on Saturday and was only reinstated later in that day after enough people complained. Twitter did not provide details on why the account was suspended and nobody can imagine why Jack Dorsey, a strong proponent of free speech, would allow such a thing to happen . . . just kidding.

On Sunday, thousands of people noted that every time they tried to follow the movie's account that their Twitter accounts automatically unfollowed the account moments later. 

Is it possible that Twitter advocates infanticide and is afraid to allow people to see the pro-life side of the issue and the rights of those who cannot advocate for themselves?

Actress Patricia Heaton tweeted: 

"Hey @jack - why aren’t you letting me follow @UnplannedMovie ? I’ve tried eight times to support my friend @AbbyJohnson and @Twitter won’t let me. Others are having the same issue. Please correct this. Thank you."

NewsBusters VP Dan Gainor tweeted: 

"What @Twitter is doing now is deliberately aimed at hurting @UnplannedMovie. I hope lawyers go after them. Eh @pnjaban? I'd love to see @jack cope with a few million documents worth of discovery."

Attorney and Fox News contributer Harmeet K. Dhillon tweeted: 

"Twitter is censoring @unplannedmovie and also interfering with the rights on this platform of over 100,000 other Twitter account holders to learn about the film. Who will hold Twitter accountable?"

Guy Benson tweeted: 

"Add me to the list. I’ve now defaulted back to not following @UnplannedMovie several times, despite my efforts to follow the account. @TwitterSupport"

Jason Howerton noted that "Unplanned" was not trending despite tens of thousands of recent tweets.

ESPN slaps Keith Olbermann lightly on the wrist after calling on his twits to ruin someone's life

Was his Twitter account hacked, as it always seems to happen to liberals who get caught saying dumb s**t? Probably not, as is nearly always the case.

Former relevant person Keith "Worst Person in the World" Olbermann, an anti-Trump #Resistance dolt, got an earful from ESPN after demanding Brian Broom, a Mississippi Clarion-Ledger journalist be fired and encouraged his Twitter dweebs to harass a 22-year-old turkey hunter who bagged a turkey in season and who Broom wrote about for his outlet.

Olbermann posted Broom’s Clarion Ledger article chronicling Hunter Waltman’s kill of a rare white turkey to Twitter on Tuesday. And in typical unhinged fashion, the former MSNBC personality urged social media users to make Waltman’s life “a living hell.” He stopped short of asking for a revenge murder of the young man.

“It be rare and beautiful so me should kill it,” mocked the 60-year-old. “This pea-brained scumbag identifies himself as Hunter Waltman and we should do our best to make sure the rest of his life is a living hell,” the B-B-brained Olbermann tweeted.

The virtue signaling moron added, “And the nitwit clown who wrote this fawning piece should be fired.”

According to Fox News, ESPN “confirmed that it has ‘spoken to’” Olberman over his controversial comments concerning the young hunter and Broom.

"We have spoken [gently] to him about not making personal attacks," an ESPN spokesperson said in a statement.

As Broom noted in his feature on Waltman, the hunter received mild criticism online, mostly because some argued that the turkey he killed was not wild, but domestic livestock. The hunter maintained that the rare bird was “100 percent wild,” and certified wildlife biologist Bob Eriksen agreed.

"The naked head and neck do not appear to be as ornate as one would expect in a domestic turkey gobbler," Eriksen, a Natural Resources Conservation Service technical service provider, informed Broom. "Even in a first-generation cross between an eastern wild turkey and a domestic bird there would be evidence of domestic traits such as a very large, ornate head and neck and an excessively large dewlap. In addition a F1 would exhibit short lower legs that would be heavier than those of a wild eastern.”

But we should take it from the leftist science deniers, the bird was being raised by domesticated wolves.

The Clarion-Ledger’s Executive Editor Sam R. Hall took a swing at Olbermann for his ignorance of hunting culture, his outrageous call for Broom to be fired for doing his job, and for his disrespect for the U.S. Constitution's First Amendment.

“Keith Olbermann says Brian Broom should be fired for writing this story. What was I thinking? I guess I should have fired our outdoors writer for writing about a hunter killing an unusual turkey during turkey hunting season,” teased Hall.

The executive editor added that Olbermann's comments were “recklessly irresponsible.” He left out stupid, rude, disgusting, anti-American and sanctimonious.

"Someone with his following needs to understand the possible impact of his words," Hall noted. ”Telling over 1 million people to make someone’s life a living hell could have seriously dangerous consequences. In our newsroom, that would be a fireable offense, not writing a story about a hunter bagging a turkey.”

In November of 2017, Olbermann, one of the loudest voices in the #Resistance movement, announced the end of his YouTube show “The Resistance" for GQ magazine. During his goodbye, Olbermann assured the public that President Donald Trump’s presidency would soon come to an end, but he was wrong and he remains a irrelevant to reasonable people.

By attacking both the First- and Second Amendments, Keith Olbermann proved that he is the "Worst Person In The World."

Is Trump right about video games?

On the heels of the Feb. 14 Parkland, Florida school shooting, President Trump told gaming industry leaders on Thursday that video games have been linked to real-world violence. The shooting also launched a predictable political debate over gun control laws.

But is Trump correct? Are video games a contributing factor, a catalyst, to armed violence?

The science is not "in." The issue remains unsolved, and opinion goes both ways. 

Trump spoke with the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) less than a month since the shooting which killed 17. It was the latest mass shooting in the USA with over 30,000 gun-related deaths, mostly from suicide followed by handguns, many of which are obtained illegally and used in gun violence in Democratically controlled cities with tough gun control laws that are often not enforced by law enforcement.

After the mass shooting, Trump said that video games might be a possible contributing factor in firearms violence.

In a January 16, 2018 paper in Science Daily, researchers found no evidence to support Trump's belief that video games make players more violent.

The series of experiments had over 3,000 participants and demonstrated that video game concepts "do not 'prime' players to behave in certain ways and that increasing the realism of violent video games does not necessarily increase aggression in game players."

The dominant model of learning in games is that by exposing players to concepts, such as violence in games, makes those concepts easier to use in 'real life.' This is known as priming. 

The left-leaning CBS News released a study by The Radiological Society of North America that showed playing violent video games might actually produce temporary neural changes that help control emotions, rather than cause violence though priming.

Brain scans in 11 young men who shot at video game characters for about 10 hours in a week's time had decreased activity in areas of the brain associated with inhibition, attention, and decision-making.

After the Florida shooting, Trump said that he's "hearing more and more people say the level of violence on video games is really shaping young people's thoughts," and rather than exploring the data and making an informed decision, he believes that speaking to interest groups will help decide what he hopes to do.

Let me be the first to say here, I do not play violent video games nor would I want my family to play them. I think they're horrible, but I also believe in the First Amendment, and there is no conclusive proof that they cause people to act violently. 

Oh, and another point, most mass shooters are over 21. The real problem with the last tragedy wasn't the gun nor the shooter's age; it was clearly law enforcement's failure to do its job.

UC student who stole 'MAGA' hat may face felony charge

An apparent mentally challenged female liberal college student at the University of California stole a 'Make America Great Again' hat from Matthew Vitale during a campus meeting. Vitale is a member of the University of California Riverside Republicans and he plans to file criminal charges against the low-functioning Edith Macias.

The entire profanity-laced incident went viral on YouTube when Macias posted her "SnatchAHat" video online. It shows her physically grabbing Vitale's hat from his head and then verbally assaulting him for "genocide," a word she probably should look up.

By posting the video and showing that she took it from the young Republican, the brilliant Macias raised the crime to a felony. She is likely not a law major--probably majors in lesbian dance theory.

Now that the video was released, Vitale says he wants her arrested.

He spoke to Todd Starnes on a Fox Radio interview. "Honestly, this isn't me trying to get revenge on her," he said, "this is me just trying to say: 'Look, behavior like this is not tolerated in this country. There are individual rights and individual freedoms that we are granted as per the Constitution, that everybody's granted. It doesn't matter what your beliefs are.'"

University chancellor Kim A. Wilcox released a statement calling for "respectful dialogue" but Vitale said it didn't go far enough in condemning Macias' [bizarre, illegal] behavior.

Wilcox said in a statement that "Coequal to our dedication to mutual respect is our commitment to free speech and the free exchange of ideas." A university requires an environment where students and scholars can freely express ideas and pursue knowledge, while promoting respectful dialogue among individuals or groups with opposing viewpoints [unless you're a conservative or Milo Yiannopoulos]."

Vitale said her response was "very disappointing." 

"UCR affirms its dedication to free speech, but [adds] free speech has to come under shared values of mutual respect, which is not freedom of speech," Vitale said. "The moment that you stop protecting speech that is controversial, is the moment that your right to speak your mind is taken away."

A spokesman for U of C told Fox News that the school champions free speech--as long as it remains cordial. But he was not at all clear as to where he would draw the line, and the U.S. Constitution doesn't mention the word 'cordial' in the same context as freedom of speech.

Schools used to be bastions for free speech. Now they're bastions for free liberal speech.

A number of profoundly libtarded students on campus started a "Statement of Solidarity with Edith Macias." The statement claims free speech has been "used as a dog whistle for the protection of white supremacists violence in the University of California system and elsewhere." 

They provided zero examples.

Like the way Antifa claims to be against fascism but are themselves tactically fascist, the Solidarity with Edith Macias idiots are claiming Macias is the one being "harassed," not Vitale. 

They also say that she has been "doxxed," which is defined by Google as: "search for and publish private or identifying information about (a particular individual) on the Internet, typically with malicious intent."

Again, there is nothing to support their ridiculous claim. They just like to hear themselves pretending to be relevant.

Because of the terrible things that have happened to the perpetrator, they demand the university pay Macias' rent, grant her amnesty, cover her legal fees, condemn white supremacists [including all white people who were born white on purpose or by accident], and support a sanctuary campus.

Why not demand the university supply her with a clothing allowance, free tuition and books, and grant her degree in lesbian dance theory?

These people are crazy and Vitale dismisses them as a fringe group and says that he's "overwhelmed" by the support he's received from across the country and from both sides of the aisle. 

He believes that freedom of speech can be a nonpartisan issue that all can rally around.
