Riley Gaines Smacks Down ‘Deranged’ Keith Olbermann After He Tries to Slam Her Swimming Skills

Leave it to Keith Olbermann, the perpetually unemployed basement-dweller, to pick a fight with a champion like Riley Gaines, host of Gaines for Girls on OutKick.com. Spoiler alert: it didn’t end well for the guy who’s been fired more times than a circus cannon.

Olbermann, who seems to think tweeting snark from his mom’s basement qualifies as a personality, decided to take a swing at Gaines’ athletic record after Education Secretary Linda McMahon pointed out that Gaines might’ve clinched a race if not for a biological male competing. Olbermann, ever the keyboard warrior, fired off this gem:

“She finished 85th in the Olympic Trials,” the loser sneered. “She finished tied for 5th in the only race including a transgendered athlete. If there had been none, she MIGHT have finished tied for 4th, or had 5th place to herself.”

Then, because he can’t resist stepping on his own rake, he added: “[Gaines] was, somehow, a worse swimmer than she is a MAGA stooge.”

What a dork.

Big mistake, Keith. You don’t poke a lioness with a stick and expect to walk away unscathed. Gaines, a former NCAA swimming star, clapped back with the kind of precision that’d make a sniper jealous. She pointed out she was 15 during those Olympic trials.

“And I placed 5th in the nation in a sport measured in .01s of a second without going a best. Would you say the 5th-best college football player is objectively bad at their sport?” she fired back. Then came the knockout: “No. You’re just a misogynistic pig [and] an old, deranged man with a terminal case of TDS who can’t hold down a job.”

Boom! That’s gonna leave a mark.

And she’s totally on the money about him. Olbermann’s resume reads like a rap sheet of terminations like Fox Sports, Current TV, ESPN (twice, because once wasn’t enough), and MSNBC/NBC. The man’s been canned so often he probably lists “professional firing victim” on his LinkedIn.

Not content to let him slink away, Gaines upped the ante, telling Fox News Digital she’d race Olbermann for charity. At first, she hesitated, and for good reason: “I’d challenge [Keith] to a race where the loser puts up $ to the charity of the winner’s choice, but no one wants to see him in a Speedo.”

Fair point because the mental image alone is enough to make you want to bleach your brain. But Gaines, being the class act she is, threw down the gauntlet anyway—a 200-yard freestyle for a good cause. Olbermann, predictably, scurried back to his cave, dusted the Cheeto crumbs off his keyboard, and tweeted this pathetic dodge:

“This is a brilliant idea [Riley]! A 66-year-old man with an arthritic left knee and chronic stress fractures in the right foot,” he whined. “Somebody you could finally beat!”

So shut up, Keith. Nice try. Even in your glory days, if you ever had any, you’d have been lapped by Gaines before you could say “unemployment check.” Let’s talk credentials. Gaines? A decorated NCAA swimmer with a trophy case full of accolades: 2021 and 2022 All-SEC First Team, 2022 SEC Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year, and one of the most accomplished swimmers in Kentucky’s history. Olbermann? His greatest athletic achievement was reportedly smacking his head on a subway pole at Shea Stadium in 1980, leaving him too dazed to drive. True story.

This isn’t Olbermann’s first time getting schooled by a strong woman. He once tried to tangle with Megyn Kelly over her NBC exit, and she mopped the floor with him. “But the record is very clear that I left voluntarily because I wanted to raise my family,” Kelly shot back. “Something you don’t know anything about because no one would marry you.” She didn’t stop there: “And you have no children. You have a cold, lonely life in which you’ve become a bitter, bitter man.”

He probably went back to the basement and cried quietly into his cat-pissed sofa.

And now, here’s Olbermann, still bitter, still deranged, shouting into the void, desperate for clout by attacking a woman with more talent in her pinky than he’s got in his entire rant-filled existence. Riley Gaines isn’t just a better athlete—she’s a better human. And Keith? He’s just a sad, jobless troll who keeps picking fights he can’t win. Keep swinging, buddy. You’re only knocking yourself out.

Keith Olbermann's newest attempt at relevance: hopes for Trump's assassination

Former semi-relevant leftist, Keith Olbermann went on social media and posted his hope that former President Donald Trump would be murdered--he used the word 'assassinated' but that's what murder is.

The lunatic leftist went onto his X account Saturday and replied to a Joe Biden campaign post which featured a video of a segment of a speech Trump recently made in Dayton, Ohio.

The “Biden-Harris HQ” post of the video was captioned: “Trump says he has been treated worse than Abraham Lincoln, who was assassinated.”

To that, crazy Olbermann responded, “There’s always hope.”
There's always the hope https://t.co/SBlFO3kKnA

This sounds like something "the worst person in the world" would say.

Olbermann was immediately blasted with online replies to his post that calls for killing someone with differing political opinions. You would think Keith gets his opinions from Vladimir Putin.

Here are a few of the responses to his dark statement"
Perhaps @SecretService should pay Keith a visit. We all know Keith is mentally unstable.

At the very least this is a TOS violation. @Safety @Support
I really believe Olbermann has a serious but undiagnosed mental disorder. Perhaps earlier in his not so illustrious career people thought of him as feisty and edgy, but as time went by, it became apparent that his thinking was not offbeat as much as it was crazy.

His true character was seen last August when he told championship woman swimmer Riley Gaines that she "sucked" at swimming. The following month he called HBO host Bill Maher a "scumbag" for opposing the Hollywood writer's strike.

Olbermann left MSNBC in early January 2015 for reasons unknown. My guess is that he "sucked" as a tv host.

World's Worst Person Keith Olbermann calls for Jake Tapper's resignation for doing journalism

Failing podcaster and possible borderline personality sufferer Keith Olbermann blasted Comedy News Network's Jake Tapper for not discrediting the Durham Report because it uncovered the FBI's anti-Trump lies.

Tapper admitted that the report was "devastating" to the FBI and Olbermann, never one to mix reality with his leftist opinion, wrote, "It isn't. Not even close. No charges, just partisan ‘conclusions.’ And Tapper of the new non-journalistic Chris Licht CNN is propagandizing." Licht, of course, is CNN's CEO.

Staff at CNN are attacking Licht for allowing a former President of the United States and candidate for a second term, to be interviewed by the network at a town hall. How dare he allow for free speech and actual journalism by allowing Trump to speak on their network.

Olbermann, who was fired from MSNBC in January 2011, called Tapper's comments about the FBI the network's "new scandal," and like all jealous losers called for his resignation.

"Jake Tapper needs to resign," Olbermann tweeted to the 440,000 people who read his whiny demand.

What Jake Tapper said about the Durham Report was that it was "devastating to the FBI and to a degree, it does exonerate Donald Trump."

I'm sure Tapper wasn't happy about the report's finding but, to his credit, he gave what sounded like an honest journalistic response. And to Olbermann's discredit, he gave the response the few who follow him expected.

The report released Monday by Durham found that the Department of Justice and FBI "failed to uphold their mission of strict fidelity to the law" when it launched the investigation into alleged Trump-Russia collusion.

The hoax perpetrated by those agencies severely impacted the results of the 2020 presidential election that was ultimately won by a corrupt and cognitively impaired miscreant.

Fun Fact: in 2017, Tapper couldn't report enough about the Trump-Russia collusion scandal and legitimized the then "confirmation" of the Steele dossier. To his credit, he at least conceded that not all of the details of the dossier were fully corroborated and only partially sucks at reporting accurately.

Olbermann: why are we "wasting vaccinations on Texas" after lifting mask mandate

Liberal loon Keith Olbermann has a habit of showing the nation just how hateful he is. Even some Democrats are beginning to realize this fact, in a Party where facts matter less than feelings. [H/T Fox News]

The YouTube douche nozzle says that people who live in Texas don't deserve to get vaccinated for coronavirus because "Texas has decided to join the side of the virus" by lifting its mask mandate.

These are the words of an angry, hard-left flame thrower who apparently has the compassion of a scorpion and the understanding of a cucumber when it comes to medicine. And he hates it when government backs off and expects its citizens to act like responsible adults.

Olbermann is the worst person in the world, to quote his words about everyone he disagrees with.

Olbermann left ESPN to start an anti-Trump tirade on YouTube, where he responded to a tweet from Texas Republican Gov. Greg Abbott outlining plans to re-open the state and revoke mask mandates.

"Why are we wasting vaccinations on Texas if Texas has decided to join the side of the virus?" Olbermann posted.

The former MSNBC pseudo-intellect's opinion didn’t go over well, even with the left.

"I just think it’s wrong to make gross generalizations about the lives and potential deaths of an entire population," Dallas Morning News reporter Evan Grant wrote. "It is mean-spirited and unhelpful on every front."

"People deserve to stay safe and healthy no matter who they voted for," left-wing pundit Molly Jong-Fast posted in response.

Many others blasted Olbermann on Twitter:

The next tweet suggests that Olbermann's post should get him banned from Twitter, but that probably won't happen because he isn't a conservative.

Shehan Jeyarajah tweeted:

And another blunt response:

And my favorite tweet:

Olbermann is not a nice person, to be kind. He is known for his angry, often profane outbursts. He began his career as an anchor on ESPN's "SportsCenter" but then became political and went to MSNBC from 2003 to 2011

Olbermann later bounced around the industry and anchored an anti-Trump online program for GQ, "The Resistance," and authored a book titled, "Trump is F*--ing Crazy: (This is Not a Joke)." [This is not a joke.]

The cover of the book showed Olbermann draped in the American flag which was clearly touching the ground, a violation of U.S. flag code.

Like the morons who constantly attack people they hate with Hitler/Nazi/Holocaust analogies because they're stupid and lazy, Olbermann compared Trump to Osama bin Laden because he fits the description perfectly.

Keith Olbermann loses his stuffing over ACB

Comrade Keith Olbermann is losing his mind as evidenced in a rapid onset rant on a YouTube video Thursday. He said that people who support President Trump, including federal judge and SCOTUS nominee Amy Coney Barrett, "must be prosecuted and convicted and removed from our society."

“Trump can be and must be expunged. The hate he has triggered, [he ranted ironically] the pandora’s box he has opened, they will not be so easily destroyed. So, let us brace ourselves. The task is twofold,” the lunatic bloviated. “The terrorist Trump must be defeated, must be destroyed, must be devoured at the ballot box and then he and his enablers and his supporters and his collaborators and the Mike Lees and the William Barrs and the Sean Hannitys and the Mike Pences and the Rudy Giulianis and the Kyle Rittenhouses and the Amy Coney Barretts must be prosecuted and convicted and removed from our society while we try and rebuild it and to rebuild the world Trump has nearly destroyed by turning it over to a virus.”

And if this mentally ill person got his way, he would get rid of everyone with whom he disagrees. In fact, he would get rid of the entire Republican Party.

“Remember it. Even as we dream of a return to [Olbermann's] reality and safety and the country for which our forefathers died that the fight is not just to win an election, but to win it by enough to chase at least for a moment Trump and the maggots off the stage,” the schizophrenic said in a free associative rant.

“And then try to clean off what they left. Remember it. Even though to remember it means that the fight does not end November 3. But in many ways will only begin that day.”

Newsbusters highlighted separate remarks made by the deranged Olbermann in a video posted on Wednesday where he “repeated a lie about Barrett.”

“A note about the Handmaid Supreme Court Justice. Amy Coney Barrett was not just in the fundamentalist sect that The Handmaid’s Tale was based loosely. She was in fact, her title was, in fact, handmaid, we are told,” the low information lunatic said. “She should resign and she should withdraw, but she won’t. Roe v. Wade will have to be protected by new laws or the number of judges on the court changed.”

Newsbusters added, “Apparently the secular Olbermann isn’t aware that the term ‘handmaid’ actually predates the HBO show and is used in the Bible. Also, Olbermann is lying. Even Handmaid creator Margaret Atwood said the show is not based on the group Barrett was in.”

Olbermann was never much good as a leftist opinion guy when he had his own show on MSNBC. But he speaks with an authoritative sounding voice and it's easy to fool many on the left is you sound sincere, no matter how ridiculous your thoughts are.

Even Olbermann believes his own malarkey.

C'mon, man. You know you want to follow Brain Flushings--it's free and worth every penny. And remember, every time you click on an ad, an angel gets its wings and a liberal sheds a tear.

ESPN slaps Keith Olbermann lightly on the wrist after calling on his twits to ruin someone's life

Hands up, don't think
Was his Twitter account hacked, as it always seems to happen to liberals who get caught saying dumb s**t? Probably not, as is nearly always the case.

Former relevant person Keith "Worst Person in the World" Olbermann, an anti-Trump #Resistance dolt, got an earful from ESPN after demanding Brian Broom, a Mississippi Clarion-Ledger journalist be fired and encouraged his Twitter dweebs to harass a 22-year-old turkey hunter who bagged a turkey in season and who Broom wrote about for his outlet.

Olbermann posted Broom’s Clarion Ledger article chronicling Hunter Waltman’s kill of a rare white turkey to Twitter on Tuesday. And in typical unhinged fashion, the former MSNBC personality urged social media users to make Waltman’s life “a living hell.” He stopped short of asking for a revenge murder of the young man.

“It be rare and beautiful so me should kill it,” mocked the 60-year-old. “This pea-brained scumbag identifies himself as Hunter Waltman and we should do our best to make sure the rest of his life is a living hell,” the B-B-brained Olbermann tweeted.

The virtue signaling moron added, “And the nitwit clown who wrote this fawning piece should be fired.”

According to Fox News, ESPN “confirmed that it has ‘spoken to’” Olberman over his controversial comments concerning the young hunter and Broom.

"We have spoken [gently] to him about not making personal attacks," an ESPN spokesperson said in a statement.

As Broom noted in his feature on Waltman, the hunter received mild criticism online, mostly because some argued that the turkey he killed was not wild, but domestic livestock. The hunter maintained that the rare bird was “100 percent wild,” and certified wildlife biologist Bob Eriksen agreed.

"The naked head and neck do not appear to be as ornate as one would expect in a domestic turkey gobbler," Eriksen, a Natural Resources Conservation Service technical service provider, informed Broom. "Even in a first-generation cross between an eastern wild turkey and a domestic bird there would be evidence of domestic traits such as a very large, ornate head and neck and an excessively large dewlap. In addition a F1 would exhibit short lower legs that would be heavier than those of a wild eastern.”

But we should take it from the leftist science deniers, the bird was being raised by domesticated wolves.

The Clarion-Ledger’s Executive Editor Sam R. Hall took a swing at Olbermann for his ignorance of hunting culture, his outrageous call for Broom to be fired for doing his job, and for his disrespect for the U.S. Constitution's First Amendment.

“Keith Olbermann says Brian Broom should be fired for writing this story. What was I thinking? I guess I should have fired our outdoors writer for writing about a hunter killing an unusual turkey during turkey hunting season,” teased Hall.

The executive editor added that Olbermann's comments were “recklessly irresponsible.” He left out stupid, rude, disgusting, anti-American and sanctimonious.

"Someone with his following needs to understand the possible impact of his words," Hall noted. ”Telling over 1 million people to make someone’s life a living hell could have seriously dangerous consequences. In our newsroom, that would be a fireable offense, not writing a story about a hunter bagging a turkey.”

In November of 2017, Olbermann, one of the loudest voices in the #Resistance movement, announced the end of his YouTube show “The Resistance" for GQ magazine. During his goodbye, Olbermann assured the public that President Donald Trump’s presidency would soon come to an end, but he was wrong and he remains a irrelevant to reasonable people.

By attacking both the First- and Second Amendments, Keith Olbermann proved that he is the "Worst Person In The World."
