Thousands have lost their jobs, millions have been furloughed, the global economy has collapsed, tens of thousands have died and many more have suffered painful symptoms of the Chinese Communist Wuhan Coronavirus, or COVID-19.
But NBC's Chuck Todd of "Meet the Press" wants us to look on the bright side and see the "good news" from the pandemic: "clean air" and "good views," which demonstrates that he's just as stupid as Spike Lee who believes the planet is angry at us.
“Before Corona, after Corona, this is changing everything,” Spike Lee said. “But you know why, the reason, I read an article about it, how pollution is clearing up, skies are clear, animals are coming out. I mean, you know, the Earth was angry at us. People may think I’m crazy that I believe it in my heart and soul, that we had gone too far and Earth said, ‘Hold up, we gotta change this.’”

The earth is a rock, it doesn't think or feel anything. It is us, we humans, through our thinking that determine what beauty is for us. Anyone who believes that crap is a pagan.
During one of his left-leaning, Trump-bashing, fake news broadcasts of “Meet the Press,” Todd ended a segment by welcoming viewers to take pride in the clear skylines that are now happening due to everyone being forced indoors and not going to work.
“If there is a good thing about this economic crisis, it has been the clean air, and views we haven’t seen for a long time,” said Todd while the camera panned to before and after pictures of various skylines now free of air pollution: Los Angeles, New Delhi, Paris.
People on social media roundly roasted the jerk for being so tone-deaf as Americans suffer unprecedented economic hardship while he's making a fat salary sitting on his butt at home.
“Spoken like a true bubble dweller [who’s] still collecting his big paycheck…undeserved based on his performance,” said one Twitter user.
“Have nonessential worker douche nozzle say it while he is receiving no income,” said another user.

Douche nozzle--how apropos.
