Chrissy Matthews admits to 'inappropriate' behavior at MSNBC

Former MSNBC "Hardball" host Chris Matthews has gone public for the first time since leaving the show amid allegations he was sexually harassing a staff member. He finally admitted that he was "inappropriate" and also found his accuser's allegation "very credible."

“I didn’t argue about it, I didn’t deny it,” Matthews told Vanity Fair, referring to journalist Laura Bassett's allegation that Matthews harassed her sexually.
In a column for GQ in late February, Bassett wrote that in one encounter in 2016, as she was preparing to appear with cable news leftist on his show, he "looked over at me in the makeup chair next to him and said, ‘Why haven’t I fallen in love with you yet?’”

He was married at the time but was prepared to knock boots with Bassett, if she would have him, it seems.

Matthews abruptly resigned from “Hardball” — after a 20-year run that had recently included other controversial comments — three days later.

At the time, Matthews said of the #MeToo movement, “A lot of it has to do with how we talk to each other, compliments on a woman’s appearance, that some men, including me, might have once incorrectly thought were OK, we’re never OK. … I’m sorry.”

What an ass.

Matthews, an avid progressive told Vanity Fair, “I accepted the credibility of the complaint in [Bassett’s] article.

“I didn’t want to challenge the person that made the complaint and wrote the article. I thought it was very credible and certainly within the person’s rights to write that article, of course. That was highly justified.

“Basically, as I said, to repeat myself, it’s inappropriate in the workplace to compliment somebody on their appearance, this is in the makeup chair, and I did it.”

At least he didn't say, "Why haven't I jumped your bones the minute I laid eyes on you?"

His wife, Kathleen Matthews, had no comment.

Will Bannon run with Milo in 2020?

It's no secret that Breitbart head case Steve Bannon is getting more and more frustrated with President Donald Trump. He's so frustrated that he might run for president of the United States just to stick it to him in 2020. And while he isn't saying who he'd select as a running mate, my anonymous source said he's looking at Milo Yiannopoulos.

And it's hard to imagine anyone who'd make a better president than a chronically angry guy who called the president "an eleven-year-old child."

Vanity Fair (the magazine that groveled on their symbolic knees in a stark apology to liberals and leftists everywhere for have the audacity to make a fun video about Hillary Clinton and their recommendation she get out of politics and maybe take up knitting) wrote an extensive report about Bannon.

The writer, Gabriel Sherman, stated that the former White House chief strategist expressed concern over Trump's longevity as president. Evidently Bannon isn't happy about the direction the administration is going and is thinking that his own direct hands-on is needed for national politics.

Nothing could be further from the truth. What Bannon knows about politics was what 18th Century barbers knew about surgery.

It was the genius Bannon who stood behind the election of Roy Moore, if that example means anything to you.

In October, Bannon told an adviser he'd run for president if Trump doesn't run again in 2020. In private conversations since getting fired from his White House gig, Bannon said Trump only as a 30 percent chance of serving out his term, whether it be impeachment or removed by the Cabinet invoking the 25th Amendment.

Sherman reached out to White House staff for a comment and was told that Bannon has been calling to get his old job back. One staffer told him "the president's best decision was firing James Comey. His second best decision was firing Steve Bannon, bar none."

That's hard to disagree with.

WikiLeaks, the Muslim Brotherhood and Huma Abedin

The Clinton campaign team scurried and worried to set up a defensive wall to protect Hillary's "body woman," Huma Weiner Abedin, according to emails made public by WikiLeaks. Specifically, they were protecting Abedin from the fact that she has familial connections to the Muslim Brotherhood.

In January, Hillary's top aides discussed how to respond to a forthcoming Vanity Fair article about Abedin's role and enormous influence with Clinton.

Nick Merrill emailed Hillary: "As discussed, we don't know what the tone of the piece will be, but I wrote some shell point, below, that we can adapt as need."

The email included a list of talking points that include a bullet point on the subject of "Muslim Brotherhood Accusations" regarding the belief in some right-wing circles that Abedin, whose family has links to the terror-funding Islamic group in Saudi Arabia, is a secret terrorist:
To perpetuate baseless accusations about someone's faith to sell magazines is reprehensible, and frankly surprising coming from Vanity Fair. For fringe partisans to make these claims is bad enough. But years later, after being denounced by everyone from John McCain to Marco Rubio, for a magazine to pick up and give column inches to this nonsense is as irresponsible as it is baseless.
WikiLeaks also revealed how the campaign prepared talking points on Abedin's personal life about her now estranged husband, Anthony "Carlos Danger" Weiner, and his perverted exploits on Twitter. (See also Bill Clinton and Google "The Energizer Bunny.")
Huma's personal life is just that, her personal life. She is a wonderful mother which she balances with a very impressive career. I don't know how she does it all, but she does, with grace and humility.
And a full-time nanny, I would imagine.

But what about the truth in regard to who Huma Abedin is? In an August 22, 2016 article in Jihad Watch, it discusses how Hillary's top aide published anti-American articles when she worked as Assistant Editor at her mother's radical Muslim journal, the "Journal of Muslim Minority Affairs."

The article blames the United States for 9-11 and blamed women for violence.

Huma's father, Syed Abedin, a Muslim scholar, also had a questionable background.

An article in the Washington Free Beacon discusses how he outlined his views on Sharia law and his belief that the Western world has made Muslims "hostile." Not much is spoken about him, but he was tied to the Saudi government until his death in 1993 and was a strong advocate of Sharia.

Abedin's Muslim Brotherhood (MB) connections have been fully exposed by Andrew McCarthy, and although the facts are public, they are mostly ignored. Both parents are members of the MB and she has worked closely with Abdullah Omar Naseef, who financed al-Qaeda when Hillary was secretary of state.

Huma and Naseef overlapped while she worked at the Journal of Muslim Minority Affairs.

So the WikiLeaks leak leaked nothing new about Huma, but perhaps it will finally bring attention of her background to the public that wasn't exposed to it in the liberal media.

A ISIS-inspired PR stunt goes awry in France

Cannes -- The French are not known for their comedy nor their ability to make pets out of snails and frogs. They are also not known for being stupid as a culture, but they tried their best to disprove that notion Friday.

A French internet company pulled a PR stunt that may have resulted in some people soiling their skivvies. They used a group of fake commandos who menacingly approached the Hotel du Cap Eden-Roc, a celebrity hotel near the Cannes Film Festival and roughly translated means "The Hotel with the Hat on Eden Rock."

Intelligent people by the hotel panicked as they witnessed what they believed was another ISIS attack in France.

The Hollywood Reporter wrote that six men in military-style gear approached the hotel where Vanity fair editor Graydon Carter was hosting an exclusive elitist party of liberals on the property. One of the "military" men stormed the stairs leading up to the resort.

Publicist J.R. Savet told the Hollywood Reporter, "We were all caught off guard. And then someone screamed and people jumped out of their chairs and started moving quickly to the swimming pool area. It was pretty scary. The fact that the men appeared to be (dressed like) an ISIS-like militia group was quite shocking."

What Savet meant by 'quite shocking' was that he wet himself and screamed, "Kill them, kill them. Not me."

Security was immediately called as the hotel staff acted like nothing was wrong while continuing to serve snails and frogs with French fries and red wine.

The ordeal was actually a publicity stunt for a French "global marketplace" known as Oraxy, which is French for "We bleed 'stupid.'" The company describes itself as "reserved exclusively for (Ultra High Net Worth Individuals)."

The fake attackers also sped past several huge yachts owned by Steven Spielberg, Roman Abramovitch and Ronald Perelman.

"It was not a terrorist attack. It was a communication effort and publicity for an internet site," French National Police said in a statement. Officials described the incident as "just a bad joke-a really bad one."

An Oraxy spokesmoron confirmed that it was all a publicity stunt and it was coordinated with maritime authorities and said the unidentified owners, who have since removed their heads from their nether regions, feel "really bad" about scaring the crap out of people, some of whom could have suffered PTSD or a heart attack for the sake of a bad joke.

The Cannes Film Festival is a slightly more than 560 miles from the recent Paris attack that killed 130 people.

This proves that rich or poor, anyone can be an idiot. Maybe they'll try the next stunt in Paris proper.

Sarah Silverman's stupid opinion

Sarah Silverman spoke to Vanity Fair from the Toronto Film Festival earlier this month where she expressed her agreement with those who are politically correct. This came in response to Jerry Seinfeld who said he stopped performing comedy on college campuses because the students were too "politically correct."

Sarah, much of whose comedy has to do with issues involving human feces, said, "To a degree, everyone's going to be offended by something, so you can't just decide on your material based on not offending anyone. But I do think it's important, as a comedian, as a human, to change with the times. I think it's a sign of being old if you're put off by that."

But the most incredible thing she said referred to doing campus performances, "You have to listen to the college-aged, because they lead the revolution," she said and added, "They're pretty much always on the right side of history."

I guess she was referring to the left side.

The hate exuded by students on the left at the University of Delaware is an interesting example of how college revolutionaries are "pretty much always on the right side of history."

The level of hatred was exposed by the fact that a bunch of idiot students, after learning the "nooses" they said were hanging from trees on campus, were actually Japanese lantern holders used prior to a Second Amendment presentation given by guest speaker Katie Pavlich. She was invited by the administration to give the speech.
Delaware nooses?

The students didn't care--they wanted to believe the wires in the trees were nooses and even accused the school and police of lying to cover up a crime. This came in spite of the fact that UD police chief Patrick Ogden made a video explaining exactly how the misunderstanding occurred. He even spoke slowly so the students could understand.

"I shouldn't feel unsafe walking past a building where there were supposedly nooses hanging down, but I do," said one student, Elexis Keels. "I don't think it was paper lanterns."

Unfortunately, Keels did not finish the interview with The News Journal because the sun cast her shadow in direct line with her vision causing her to have a panic attack and she ran for her miserable life.

But Keels is not alone. Many students on campus are certain the wires that hung from trees that were used to previously hang paper lanterns are nooses and they're sticking to their story.

And Sarah Silverman is sticking to her toilet humor.
