NYC Mayor Comrade de Blasio and wife diddy-bop in Brooklyn against his own restrictions

Impotent Mayor of New York City, Comrade Bill de Blasio (D) along with his Comrade wife Charlene McCray were bagged taking a non-essential diddy-bop in Prospect Park, Brooklyn, in spite of his city-imposed restrictions on non-essential outdoor activities.

This is why people don't take these idiots seriously.

The "do what I say, not what I do" attitudes of the elite and their disconnect with working-class America is not winning the left any points.

In yet another blatant middle-finger example of the disconnect, de Blasio and his wife were caught taking the non-essential stroll eleven miles from their home.

Darren Goldner, a Twitter user whose bio describes him as "Progressive, socialist, bicyclist, feminist, environmentalist, globalist . . ., " happened to be out and about when he saw the carefree couple and began to document the hypocrisy. Obviously, Goldner is probably quite objective of the progressive, socialist feminist mayor, so his criticism is more credible than if it came from a normal person who probably would not vote for a moron like de Blasio.

Goldner didn’t think it was fair that while de Blasio has been lecturing New Yorkers about staying indoors and avoiding parks and recreational areas, he was out strolling with his wife miles from their luxurious, taxpayer supported Gracie Mansion, in Manhattan. He tweeted:
I live right near Prospect Park. It's a nice place to exercise at distance. Today, I ran into @nycmayor @billdeblasio w/ @nycfirstlady there.
But they live 11 miles away *inside* another park and force a 4 SUV entourage to drive them non-essentially to Bklyn for recreation (1/n) pic.twitter.com/4BLjSotw2n
For those of you who don't know Prospect Park, it was designed by the same person who designed Manhattan's Central Park, Frederick Law Olmstead. It has a lovely lake, a gazebo, an ice skating rink, rowboating, and it was a short walk from my home when I lived in Brooklyn.

But I digress.

Goldner went on with his tweeting:
de Blasio has cut funding for Summer Youth Employment, education, climate, even Vision Zero, while INCREASING funding for a bloated NYPD & planning expensive, frivolous, risk-creating follies like Macy's fireworks and a parade. pic.twitter.com/pMDFqkmbVH

Goldner finally got his video working just in time to film a de Blasio aide telling him to “give it a break” at which point Goldner becomes all of America and fires back, “I’m not going to give it a break. This is selfish behavior.”
@NYCMayor no, I won't "give it a break." You don't get a break. We don't get a break.
You can't change the past & will always have blood on your hands.
If I were you, I'd be working night & day to help those in most dire need. Maybe start with your inadequate homeless services. pic.twitter.com/i71ulg7Hvl

In terms of Goldner's politics, I don't agree with it at all, but as a New Yorker, one can understand how seeing this mayor and his wife thumb their collective nose at the city is frustrating and anger-inducing. New York City is the epicenter of the Chinese Communist Wuhan Coronavirus and New Yorkers have been doing their part, by staying home and not working. Yet here we have this schmuck, and that's the best word I can find to label him, getting a paycheck from the taxpayer, and preaching to us how to deal with the pandemic [or as I now call it the "damnpanic"] and doing whatever he damn pleases.

It is grossly insulting and he needs to be voted out of office.

Good for Goldner. I disagree with his assessment that this is anti-progressive behavior, but he's correct that it's obnoxious.

De Blasio's blasé attitude over what he says versus what he does, is exactly how the left tends to operate. It's called hypocrisy and you can see it now with how the left is covering for Joe Biden and his alleged sexual misconduct. I am not saying he is guilty--that would discount due process--but I am saying that the media has been covering for him by not touching upon the subject until they are called out on it, and then brush it off as an attack by the right.

It's amazing how out of touch the left is: from de Blasio's diddy-bopping to Pelosi's ice cream in her $24,000 refrigerator.

Maybe it's a case of brain freeze.

Comrade de Blasio believes he's a special character: [hint: he's a jerk]

New York City Mayor Comrade Bill de Blasio (Democrat, of course) says that in order for him to be an effective leader, [aside from needing divine intervention], he needs to go for a walk in Brooklyn's Prospect Park, which is 12 miles from Manhattan's Gracie Mansion.

I personally have put in thousands of miles running in Prospect Park and I can tell you that it is very similar to Manhattan's Central Park and that there is no reason the mayor has to travel into the borough to get his exercise.

But more importantly, in order for de Blasio to be an effective leader, he would first have to be effective and actually be a leader.

“I go get my exercise like everyone else,” the schmuck bucket said on NY1’s “Inside City Hall.”

“I go to my home neighborhood. It’s part of what helps me just continue to work nonstop,” he said. “I’m on conference calls pretty much the whole time.”

A viewer had asked the incompetent Commie mayor why he gets driven to Brooklyn just to go for a walk in the park when his current Upper East Side home runs along acres of waterfront parkland.

In fact, de Blasio's gym is the Park Slope YMCA, but is temporarily closed since March, along with all other state gyms, to help combat the Chinese Communist Wuhan Wet Market Coronavirus.

De Blasio has been spotted — and called out on social media — for his recent strolls inside Prospect Park with his wife Chirlane McCray.

On Monday night, he shrugged off the criticism about traveling into Brooklyn, and he defended his inter-borough trips.

“This is just something that we shouldn’t focus on. There’s much better things to talk about,” he said, in a feeble attempt to distract from the fact that he tells people to do what he is unwilling to do because he simply cannot suck enough.

Although city parks have remained open during the coronavirus outbreak, certain areas, such as dog runs and playgrounds, have been closed off and people in the park are required to keep a social distance or risk a fine of $1,000!

The incompetent hypocrite mayor rationalizes his long walks. “My situation is particular and I am here serving people … and I’m just doing something I think will help me to be the most effective.”

Which is screwing off and being the jerk every New York City leftist who had nothing better to do voted for.

He never ceases to amaze.

Brooklyn lawyer immolates himself to protest air pollution/climate change

A U.S. lawyer, David Buckel, set himself on fire in a New York City park to protest climate change. In the process Buckel added to the air pollution and may have actually caused a microscopic warming of the Earth, particularly around Prospect Park.

In a suicide note found near to where his remains were found, Buckel, 60, said he immolated himself using fossile fuel to symbolize what he said was the damage human beings were doing to the Earth.

Mr. Buckel was presumably mentally ill and a Democrat . . . but I repeat myself.

Buckel said most people now breathe bad air and many died prematurely.

Buckel was known for his legal work for gay, lesbian and people with gender dyphoric disorder, the latter group also being quite suicidal. He also worked with environmental groups but killed himself anyway.

"Pollution ravages our planet, oozing inhabitability via air, soil, water and weather," he wrote in his suicide note. He didn't mention that the United States far exceeds most other nations in air quality and regulations and that there are no clear findings as to what level of environmental influence human activity plays in climate or what has to be done. Certainly not starting unnecessary fires.

Not allowing any tragedy to be wasted, [to paraphrase Saul Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals"] the New York Times quoted his note which was also emailed to several news outlets shortly before his charred body was found.

"My early death by fossil fuel reflects what we are doing to ourselves," the lawyer said from the grave, rather than a mental institution.

Buckel was the lead lawyer in the Nebraska case in which cops were found to have failed to protect Brandon Teena, a transgender teen who had been raped and assaulted and later murdered in Nebraska. Teena was the subject of the 1999 film Boys Don't Cry.

Buckel also worked as marriage project director and senior counsel at Lambda legal, which fights for LGBT rights.

It is really sad that he killed himself, but that he killed himself to make a statement about the environment indicates that it was more than the environment that can kill us. I believe he was mentally ill and highly depressed.

And what a painfully horrible way to commit suicide.
