Trump and Harris asked to be interviewed by apolitical economics expert--guess who declined

Dave Ramsey has no axe to grind--he is apolitical--and asked both Donald Trump and VP Kamala Harris to join him in a sit-down interview, ostensibly to discuss economics, of course. But thus far, only Trump has agreed to the discussion and Harris' team has yet to respond. Perhaps she'll demand certain criteria before agreeing to the invite such as notes, lots of notes, and to have Trump sit in a tiny chair while she stands. Who knows?

“Several weeks ago, our team reached out [to] Vice President Harris and President Donald Trump and offered the ability to sit down and have a discussion about ideas,” Ramsey said over the weekend.

“The Harris camp has our request, and the last word we got, it was under review,” he told his audience. “So it’s not been a yes, not been a no from them.” This is what is known as staling tactics.

Trump, not surprisingly said yes. In fact, he and Ramsey have already sat down for the interview.

“I flew to New York. And at this time yesterday, I was in Trump Tower interviewing President Donald Trump,” Ramsey said.

Ramsey does not reveal his political leanings and has often told his followers that despite who's in the White House, their money can be protected. But he explained that he wants to speak to both candidates about those things that are hurting Americans, such as the cost of eggs, and this is what he initially asked Trump and will be Harris' first question if she can grow a pair and show up.

“I just said Mr. President, we talk to real people every day,” Ramsey began. “Let me tell you what they’re concerned about. They’re not concerned about a bunch of the stuff you’re talking about. The stuff they’re concerned about is $7 eggs, $5 gas, 7% interest rates, and house prices going up faster than their wages are going up. This black cloud that’s over our economic situation right now. And we could talk about how it got there. We could talk about what you used to do. We could talk about the current administration. But I don’t really want to. What I want to talk about is what you’re going to do in the first 90 days to get this black cloud off of America.”

“That was my first question,” he said. “And I’ll ask Vice President Harris this exact same question if I get the opportunity,” but so far, Harris is hiding out "Biden style."

Ramsey previewed his sit-down with Trump on X. “Last week, I flew to Trump Tower to sit down with President [Donald Trump] and talk about ideas. It was fun. It was interesting,” he said. “I’ve interviewed past presidents before, but never anything quite like this. And I’ll do the same thing with Vice President Harris if I get the chance. We’ll have the full Donald Trump interview out this Wednesday, October 2.”

In the short video clip posted by Ramsey, Trump said he’s watched the expert his “whole life.” “This should be the easiest interview, because I’ve learned from him (Ramsey),” Trump joked.

Ramsey noted that he was verbally attacked by some listeners for daring to speak to Trump, and made it clear that he does not care. He called those who are offended “narrow-minded and too stupid to talk to.”

“You need to learn to engage ideas and engage things that make you uncomfortable,” he said, adding that he feels the same about those who might be offended if he speaks to Harris.

Those who want to silence Trump and his message are the same people who want to take control over "hate speech," and either stack the Supreme Court with liberal justices, or end the Supreme Court altogether.

That is what tyranny is all about.

Alexandria Obviously-Comatose slammed for voting against stimulus bill

She was responsible for Amazon refusing to establish a Queens, New York headquarters and thus not fulfilling 25,000 jobs at incredibly high salaries. She is the author of the Green New Deal which got no votes, zero, nada, even from her own Democratic Party. Now she is the only person to vote against the $484 billion coronavirus relief package.

Yes, Alexandria Obviously-Comatose truly does not care about Americans who are seriously hurting from the coronavirus lockdown, loss of jobs, and small businesses failing. This is due to the vacuous nature of her brain, and the vacuous nature of her nature. In other words, AOC kind of sucks.

The New York Daily News editorial "Enemy of the Good: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Makes the Wrong Choice,” explains how the airhead star of the left was the sole Democrat who voted against the bill.

“Not the kind of distinction a rising star legislator should be proud of,” the paper wrote, and took issue with her empty-headed claim that the bill didn't go far enough.

The socialist former bartender said the bill left out any real aid for Americans struggling to pay rent or purchase necessities including food after being left jobless or stranded due to the virus.

"My concern is that we are giving away the farm," the socialist said. "I cannot go back to my communities and tell them to just wait for CARES four because we have now passed three, four pieces of legislation that's related to coronavirus. And every time it's the next one, the next one, the next one, and my constituents are dying."

Her constituents are not dying and her credibility is totally shot.

The newspaper found the argument unsound.

“Yeah: The first aid bill didn’t go far enough,” the editorial read. “Nor did the second. Nor did the third. The fourth didn’t get there either, but the response to crises happen in steps. If everyone said no to each massive package because it didn’t go all the way, we’d all be even deader in the water."

Like AOC's brain.

Hard to believe she was an economics major at Boston University. She should get her money back.

AOC wants Americans to boycott work, while she rakes in the dough

Seconds prior to performing COVID-19
 "self-finger swab"

Socialist Rep. Alexandria Occasionally-Comatose (D-NY) spoke mostly through her nose on a radio talk show Wednesday about the current pandemic and how Americans should refuse to go back to work and collect a paycheck, like she does, which adds up to $174,000 annually. She wasn't talking about boycotting your job for now, but even after the economy opens up again.

Easy for her to say with her annoying "belchy voice," because she gets paid with our tax money even if she stays home and does her Instagram political cooking show. But there are people who need to get back to work or their businesses will fail, their families will go hungry, and some may even do drastic things in order to cope.

Vice TV, which will air “A Seat at the Table” along with AOC's crazy commentary, reported that she calls for a national work boycott. Many in the nation, particularly those of us on the right, would like to see AOC boycott her job permanently.

The moron reportedly said on the show, “When we talk about this idea of reopening society you know, only in America —does the president — when the president tweets about liberation — does he mean go back to work. When we have this discussion about going back or reopening, I think a lot people should just say no — we’re not going back to that,” according to the Washington Times. "We're not going back to working 70-hour weeks just so that we can put food on the table and not even feel any sort of semblance of security in our lives.”

Of course, she is not speaking for herself--she never left her job, a job for which she is highly under-qualified.

This is a person who got a degree in economics from Boston University and believes that since the price of oil has declined to the point where the oil industry would pay you to take oil off their hands, that it's a great time for buying stock in green energy. She knows less about economics than a mosquito knows about algebra.

More idiotically, she is calling for Americans to remain jobless, then goes and blames Trump for the loss of 23 million jobs.

Some idiots are harmless, but not the ones in Congress or those who seek the presidency.

You know who you are.

AOC quotes Milton Keynes, a fictional economist

Perhaps the reason the Democratic Party doesn't do so well with economic growth has more to do with the "geniuses" in the Democratic Party who don't know their elbow from their nether regions.

Enter Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez [aka Alexandria Obviously-Comatose].

Once thought to be the "future" of the Democratic Party by DNC Chairman Tom "Potty Mouth" Perez, socialist and Boston University graduate AOC (D-NY) went on Instagram Saturday to enlighten the world with her analysis of our country's economy.

She said she recently read how, in 1930, "famed economist Milton Keynes predicted that by 2030, GDP and technology would have advanced so much, that it would allow everyday people to work as little as fifteen hours a week and provide for their families."

Not only does this aim to appeal to those who hate working, it also appeals to those who are clueless about what this cretin says. There is no such "famous economist" named Milton Keynes, nor has there ever been.

Comatose evidently confused famed libertarian economist Milton Friedman with John Maynard Keynes, the latter who was a progressive liberal.

She later clarified that she'd mistaken Friedman with Keynes which would have given her a zero on her economics exam, and pretended it was a typographical error. Except if you look at the video which I so graciously provided below, you can see that she doesn't appear to be reading from a script.

"UGGGH TYPO. It's John Maynard Keynes. Mixed his name with Milton Friedman — a (very) different economist," she wrote in a subsequent Instagram story.

The Cambridge Dictionary defines typo thus: a mistake made in printed material produced by a computer or a typewriter.

So AOC not only doesn't know what she's talking about, she doesn't even know that what she's talking about wasn't a typo. Imagine her as POTUS some day.

Alexandria Obviously-Comatose believes in her heart that 'VA problems are a myth'

If you're a socialist-liberal you don't need to actually see the evidence for your beliefs, you merely need to feel your truth. Having never been inside a VA hospital, Rep. Alexandria Occasional-Cortex (D-NY) continues to pontificate on what she feels is true about her opposition to reforming the Department of Veterans Affairs on Saturday, calling it a "myth" that the system was broken and needs reforming.

When asked to define "myth" she was miffed, but doubled-down on her truth.

"You can say what you will," she said in her incredibly annoying nasal voice, "but in spite of Donald Trump, in spite of the Republicans who claim they want to do what's best for our veterans, in spite of the fact the VA doesn't provide women's health care abortions, and in spite of those old, worn-out Democrats who need to step down and make room for us young, cute and vibrant female lawmakers, the VA hospitals are doing just fine, thank you."

The reason the former bartender is defending the Department of Veterans Affairs and their failures within their hospital system is because it's overseen by government.

AOC wants everything to be overseen by Big Brother. In her meatless mind, the government is the answer to all our problems, in spite of the evidence that it tends to be the catalyst of them.

The former economics major pledged at a town hall a week ago that she would fight bipartisan efforts to reform the scandal-plagued VA health system.

"If it ain't broke, don't fix it," she said, in remarks reported on by the Washington Free Beacon last week. "The idea that this thing that isn't broken, this thing that provides the highest quality care to our veterans somehow needs to be fixed, optimized, tinkered with until you don't even recognize it anymore."

I repeat, she has never been in a VA hospital and therefore never had to wait for treatment--I have used VA services and I can say with confidence that AOC is clueless, but a good comrade.

She needs to spend more time fixing problems in her own district after having been responsible for losing 25,000 Amazon jobs. The company planned to have  an additional headquarters located in Queens but she "peed in the punch" and scared them away, with her believing that the tax break Amazon was to receive, would go to New York City. She was clueless about what a tax break is, and is clueless about the VA hospital system.

John Hickenlooper clueless on what GDP stands for

Former Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper hopes to win the 2020 Democrat nomination for being president of the United States of America, and he apparently doesn't know very much about economics.

The simple man with the long last name was at a conference on Saturday and was asked a question having to do with economics. He was clueless about the acronym "GDP" not knowing it stood for "Gross Domestic Product."

"Our gross, whatever that stands for, demographic product," he told a woman at the "National Forum on Wages and Working People."

He was addressing the issues of child care and bemoaned how the country should be able to spend less of its GDP on health care. "You know, I should know that. I can't even remember," he added, in reference to the term's meaning, adding, "Where am I?"
The event was organized by the leftist organizations: Service Employees Union International and Center for American Progress. They hosted many Democratic candidates and sought to "provide an opportunity for thought leaders [yeah, 'thought leaders,' that's what's known as an oxymoron] to go beyond talking points and share concrete plans to rebalance our economy and democracy."

Hickenlooper's comments came just a day after the Commerce Department posted a GDP rate of 3.2 percent, something the president celebrated with a tweet on Friday. It also came after he previously posed the question as to why women are not asked if they would choose a male running mate. Brilliant! Why doesn't he just shoot himself in the foot seven times?

Before the 2020 election, Republicans have pointed to Trump's economic success while comparing him to the Democratic field of candidates. Along with low unemployment during his administration, GDP unexpectedly reached 4.1 percent in the second quarter of 2018.

Hickenlooper consistently lagged behind his fellow 2020 candidates, receiving between 0 and 1 percent of support in multiple polls from April, leaving him to scratch his head and ask: "Where did you say I was?"

Fox Poll: Capitalism destroys Socialism

"I want your pudding"
According to a recent Fox News poll of registered voters, capitalism is significantly more popular than socialism. The poll also finds economic optimism high, and the number wanting the government to be their mommy is the lowest in years.

The new poll, released Wednesday, asks what message voters want to send to the federal government. Over half would say “leave me alone.” About a third would ask the government to “lend me a hand.”

The 34 percent saying “lend me a hand” is down from 41 percent last year and 39 percent in 2016. This may be due to people like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez displaying such a breathtakingly stupid stance on the economy that voters have come to terms with the evils of communism and socialism.

The 55 percent who would tell the government “leave me alone” is up from 51 percent in 2018 and 54 percent in 2016, proving that people can grow up after all.

Fifty-seven percent of voters have a positive opinion of the free market, because it works. That’s more than twice the number of envious folks who feel the same about socialism (25 percent). Some of the groups most likely to have a favorable view of socialism include self-identified liberals (50 percent), Clinton voters (43 percent), and those under age 30 (36 percent) who want the government to give them free stuff off the labor of others.

“Despite the prominence of socialistic ideas and policy proposals in recent weeks, Americans are favorable toward the merits of the capitalistic system,” says Republican pollster Daron Shaw, who conducts the Fox News Poll with Democrat Chris Anderson. “And they’re bullish on the state of the economy.”

Nearly four out of five voters feel their family either achieved the American Dream (38 percent), or is on the way toward achieving it (40 percent). One in five believes the dream is out of reach (18 percent) because their level of self-confidence is in the toilet and that's how they see their future unless they can get someone else to pay their way.

Sixty-three percent feel optimistic about the economy. Optimism stood at 49 percent in 2016, but somehow, that isn't Trump's doing, according to the left.

By a 47-42 percent margin, voters think capitalism in the U.S. gives them a “fair shot.”

However, men (58 percent) are 21 points more likely than women (37 percent) to say capitalism is a level playing field. This may be due to the growth of far-left men who identify as women or far-left women who believe it's up to the rich to take care of them.

Similarly, whites (52 percent) are 19 points more likely than nonwhites (33 percent), and voters ages 45 and over (54 percent) are 17 points more inclined than those with "Daddy Issues" under age 45 (37 percent) to feel they are getting a fair deal.

For more, go to the Fox News poll and draw your own conclusions about the influence of socialism in the country and how people are beginning to realize that working for their own life and that of their own family is more moral than asking someone else to pay for it.

AOC is not AOK with math

Radical socialist Rep. Alexandria Obviously-Crazy Cortez (Dummy-NY) had to almost relive another round of humiliation but is too simple to realize how unintelligent she sounds, when asked on national TV how she plans to pay for $40 trillion in her far-left government programs. She spoke on a Sunday interview with Anderson Cooper on CBS News' "60 Minutes" and learned that the show is an hour long.

She thought Cooper was asking her a trick question and appeared a bit miffed that he would put her on the spot, so to speak.

This is the second time she wasn't able to explain her plan to fund her fantasies, the first was with an interview with the Communist News Network's Jake Tapper.

"How are you going to pay for all of this?" Cooper asked the young dancer who lies about being from the Bronx.

Obviously-Crazy got defensive, responding: "No one asks how we're gonna pay for this Space Force. No one asked how we paid for a $2 trillion tax cut.

"We only ask how we pay for it on issues of housing, healthcare and education," the low-information socialist said. "How do we pay for it? With the same exact mechanisms that we pay for military increases for this Space Force. For all of these-- ambitious policies."

That, of course, is not a real answer because there is no way her socialism can be paid for.

"There are Democrats, obviously, who are worried about your affect on the party," Cooper responded, trying not to reveal his bottled-up laughter. "Democratic Senator Chris Coons, said about left-leaning Democrats, "If the next two years is just a race to offer increasingly unrealistic proposals, it'll be difficult for us to make a credible case we should be allowed to govern again."

"What makes it unrealistic?" the 29-year-old asked, unaware of how ignorant she sounded.

"How to pay for it," Cooper responded, trying not to wet himself.

"We pay more per capita in health care and education for lower outcomes than many other nations," the bug-eyed former bartender answered. But she still could not answer about how to pay for her programs. "And so for me, what's unrealistic is-- is what we're living in right now."

She didn't explain what she meant by that statement, but it felt to her like it made sense. What we're living in right now is a world in which poverty has become decimated, job growth is soaring and unemployment is at its lowest EVER.

The only reason this woman is getting all the coverage she's getting has nothing to do with her ideas and everything to do with her youth and lack of world knowledge.

Her latest failure in trying to explain how she would pay for her socialist programs comes a day after she attacked Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA) for, as she claimed, not knowing how marginal tax rates work. Seriously, she attacked Scalise, proving just how little she knows about him and her elementary knowledge of how marginal tax rates work.

In response to her comments toward Scalise, her leftist, radical supporters appeared to advocate for violence against him, which comes after he was nearly murdered by a Democrat terrorist in 2017, who was a Bernie Sanders supporter.

The other instance where AOC was unable to answer the question of how she'll pay for her programs occurred last year in an interview last September with Jake Tapper.

“According to nonpartisan and left-leaning studies friendly to your cause, including the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities or the Tax Policy Center, the overall price tag is more than $40 trillion in the next decade,” Tapper said. “You recently said in an interview that increasing taxes on the very wealthy, plus an increased corporate tax rate, would make $2 trillion over the next 10 years.”

“So, where is the other $38 trillion going to come from?” Tapper asked.

The socialist danced around the question for as long as she could before Tapper had to change the subject because it was obvious she couldn’t answer the question. In fact, she was likely angry that he asked her a tough question on CNN. After all, aren't they supposed to be on her side?

“So, I'm assuming I'm not going to get an answer for the other $38 trillion,” Tapper said. “But we will have you back, and maybe we can go over that.”

Yuk, yuk.

Well here we are in the beginning of a new year and the world still hasn't come to an end with President Trump in the White House, in spite of what the media and the left [but I repeat myself] would have you believe.

I hope that you will follow Brain Flushings throughout the year and feel free to comment on any issues of concern. Please subscribe and check out the sponsors on these pages too.

Alexandria Occasionally-Conscious has better ways to spend $5.7 B instead of a border wall

Representative-elect Alexandria Occasionally-Conscious (AOC) suggests there are [more] better ways to spend $5.7 billion rather than on a border wall.

Earlier this year, the economics major New Yorker responded to questions about the projected cost for funding the "Medicaid for all" delusion she suggested. When asked specifically how we would pay for it, she simply said, "just pay for it."

How astute.

Now AOC was asked a similar question about the border wall proposed by President Trump that he wants $5.7 billion to fund.

The Democratic brain-trust tweeted:
And just like that, GOP discovers $5.7 billion for a wall.
$5.7 billion
What if we instead added $5.7B in teacher pay?

Or replacing water pipes?

Or college tuition/prescription refill subsidies?

Or green jobs?
But notice how no one’s asking the GOP how they’re paying for it. https://t.co/jXdm1w9bpy
— Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@Ocasio2018)
A few people responded to her brilliant idea on Twitter. One person responded:
Here’s the thing… umm… defending our borders is actually… like… a function of Federal government. And the stuff you listed is… like… so not. https://t.co/2UCpymb3oe

— Maveríko (@TheMaverick21) December 21, 2018
Another response spelled it out for the socialist who has no clue about how the government functions or how it's comprised:
Literally none of those things is the job of the federal govt. – from the get-go they have been charged with protecting our people and our BORDERS. That IS their main job.

Not paying teachers.

Not fixing pipes.

Not pretending to care about green energy.

Not paying for college. https://t.co/6bxxsjukJo

AOC is the new kid on the block, or should I say Capitol Hill. And she hasn't even gotten there yet.

Some in the leftist media actually wish they would change the Constitution so that AOC can run for president in 2020, representing one of the chambers of government and hoping for control of the other two chambers of government--the House and the Senate.

I cannot wait for her inauguration . . . or is it coronation?

POTUS gives himself an A+ but wonders if he could go higher

In a tremendous display of self-awareness deficit, President Trump gave himself an  "A plus" rating on economics in his presidency, and the only question he had, was whether he could get an even higher rating.

Technically, an 'A plus' equals 100 percent. One hundred percent equals the entire amount of something. The entire amount of something equals all that there is of that something. Economics has a great deal to do with numbers, therefore President Trump's understanding of economics is limited by his understanding of numbers, which he has shown us is limited because he does not know that A plus is as high as one can get in a rating.

Another question that comes to mind is, who is he asking when he asks "Can I go higher than that?"

But seriously, President Trump's economy is humming along. And he is also the world's worst racist because jobs for minorities is the highest they have ever been.

However, I would like to see President Trump be more introspective on how he is viewed by many in the middle so that his chances in 2020 improve with suburban voters. particularly suburban women voters. If he merely depends on his base, he will lose reelection and I would hate for that to happen.

Oberlin rich kids want a socialist dining hall

Oberlin socialists (aka students) boycotted some of the on-campus dining halls this month in an effort to rid the campus of good food and replace it with socialism food.

Socialism food is the food grown in a collective like a commune, where everyone pitches in and somebody always screws off and angers the collective. It's human nature.

The brittle snowflakes want to end the school's contract with Bon Appétit Management Company believing they should switch "to a self-management food service model."

They are upset that the company "is doing it for the money," and not for altruistic socialist concerns.

Tuition at Oberlin with a room is $66,870 per year with fees. Let's see their socialist parents fork that kind of dough over to the school times four years.

But wait, the school is only in it for the money too if they're making a profit so why are the fine young socialists going there?

The Oberlin's Student Labor Action Coalition held a panel discussion with student employees and food-service workers. From the discussions, "worker concerns with Bon Appétit's management surfaced." Students decided to strike to show solidarity after hearing about alleged unfair labor practices, such as a company wanting to make a profit.
Oberlin food supply of the future

Fortunately for the young leftists, they were given sustenance by the Agave Burrito Bar & Tequileria and two college co-ops and didn't die of starvation.

The Marxists decided it best for the school to have an in-house dining system with the college directly hiring its own staff. They actually believed it would lead to better food and a more equitable outcome (aka money and lots of time off) for employees.

Counter cook and cashier Matt Kubach said:
"When we report to somebody, we're reporting to an organization that's a for-profit . . . The rest of the campus is a non-profit, and obviously you've got to make money, but that doesn't necessarily mean you've got to make a ton of money. I kind of feel Bon Appétit wouldn't be here if they weren't making money. I don't think they're here for good will. I think for me, personally . . . what I would like to see in the dining program is to just try to break even--provide fair wages, try to lower the room and board cost. I think if you're cutting out a large chunk of what you're paying Bon Appétit, you can achieve that a little more easily."
And Kubach's father heard the flushing as all his son's tuition money went down the dumper.

An economics of history major; Matt Kubach and most socialists are not. If they were, they'd see socialism never worked and the leaders of socialists countries got rich by capitalism or inheritance.

Proof that men are better at math

An American Airlines flight was delayed two hours because a woman thought her seat mate might be a terrorist.

Guido Menzio, an Ivy League professor of economics was working on a mathematical problem for a presentation he was preparing to give at Queens University, in Kingston, Ontario.

The woman left the flight, claiming to feel ill, but then went to report that she believed the man she sat next to was a terrorist. Casey Norton, an American Airlines spokesman said the allegations about the math professor was not deemed credible, because math by itself is harmless.

Menzio was working on a differential equation, something beyond the pale of the idiot seat mate. The guy was not doing the "Allahu Akbar Shuffle" and wasn't even from the Middle East. He's an award-winning economist from Italy.

Relax, lady.

And since when do terrorists write stuff before blowing themselves up? It would be a waste of paper.

Menzio told the media that he was troubled by the woman's ignorance and also felt the security was "bazzo."

"Issa no wondera Bernie Sanders issa doing so well. You people are 'stupido come lo sporco.'
