John Hickenlooper clueless on what GDP stands for

Former Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper hopes to win the 2020 Democrat nomination for being president of the United States of America, and he apparently doesn't know very much about economics.

The simple man with the long last name was at a conference on Saturday and was asked a question having to do with economics. He was clueless about the acronym "GDP" not knowing it stood for "Gross Domestic Product."

"Our gross, whatever that stands for, demographic product," he told a woman at the "National Forum on Wages and Working People."

He was addressing the issues of child care and bemoaned how the country should be able to spend less of its GDP on health care. "You know, I should know that. I can't even remember," he added, in reference to the term's meaning, adding, "Where am I?"

The event was organized by the leftist organizations: Service Employees Union International and Center for American Progress. They hosted many Democratic candidates and sought to "provide an opportunity for thought leaders [yeah, 'thought leaders,' that's what's known as an oxymoron] to go beyond talking points and share concrete plans to rebalance our economy and democracy."

Hickenlooper's comments came just a day after the Commerce Department posted a GDP rate of 3.2 percent, something the president celebrated with a tweet on Friday. It also came after he previously posed the question as to why women are not asked if they would choose a male running mate. Brilliant! Why doesn't he just shoot himself in the foot seven times?

Before the 2020 election, Republicans have pointed to Trump's economic success while comparing him to the Democratic field of candidates. Along with low unemployment during his administration, GDP unexpectedly reached 4.1 percent in the second quarter of 2018.

Hickenlooper consistently lagged behind his fellow 2020 candidates, receiving between 0 and 1 percent of support in multiple polls from April, leaving him to scratch his head and ask: "Where did you say I was?"

Dem. contender John Hickenlooper admits to watching porn with mom

Can you think of a better way to spend some quality time with your mom than watching a porn flick all the way to the end, or should I say 'climax'?

Democratic presidential hopeful John Hickenlooper admitted Wednesday during a Comedy News Network (CNN) town hall that he took his mom to watch a f*** flick when he was a young man and the couple stayed to the finish.

The perv confirmed that the incident, which he wrote about in his memoir, happened when he returned home from college to visit his mom for Thanksgiving. Hickenlooper's father died when he was 8-years-old, and he said that he didn't realize that his mother was lonely until he returned home from college when she told him that she was lonely and wished she could watch strangers having all kinds of sex on film.

"I promised, I called a friend in Philadelphia — and ... we didn't know what a f*** flick was," Hickenlooper lied. "We thought it was a little raunchy, but we didn't think it was that bad. I kind of liked the scene with the perverted cab driver. You've gotta understand, I was 18 years old and my hormones were on blast. I felt like Woody from 'Toy Story,' if you know what I mean."

"I said, 'I promised Jed that we'd go to the movie theater and see this new movie, you want to come?' [He intended no pun, he said.] And it's porn, and I was sure she wouldn't say no. I made a mistake, my mom was very cool and as hot to trot as me," Hickenlooper continued. "And she said, 'I'd love to go' because she didn't want to be left alone in the house again. So I took my mother to see 'Deep Throat,' the movie about Linda Lovelace and her ability to withhold her gag reflex," he explained.

"And to her credit, the first scene is...my mother was, I'm sure she was mortified, and I said repeatedly that 'I think we should leave,' 'I think we would should go,'" Hickenlooper claimed. "And my mother was the kind of person who rarely went to a movie. She thought almost every movie would get on TV. Obviously not this one. When she paid, she was going to stay, and she was quite impressed with Miss Lovelace's oral skills."

"And at the end, she knew I was randy," Hickenlooper added. "And as we drove home and — you know how the dashboard in the old cars had a kind of green light, and I asked her, I said, 'That was some experience.' And she goes, 'I thought the lighting was very good in the movie, and Harry Reems was quite the doctor,' I thought I saw a little grin in that green light, and then I threw up. It was my mother, for Pete's sake."

Hickenlooper's presidential bid is a long shot to put it mildly, as he is only polling at 1% in the latest Real Clear Politics average and CNN does not even have him ranked in their top 10 power rankings. But he isn't doing it for the presidency, he's doing it for fame.

This isn't the first time strange behavior by Hickenlooper has made headlines. In 2013, Hickenlooper admitted that he drank a glass of fracking fluid produced by Halliburton while Beto O'Rourke ate dirt while holding a green turd in a glass jar.

"You can drink it. We did drink it around the table, almost ritual-like, in a funny way," Hickenlooper told the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources. "It was a demonstration. … they’ve invested millions of dollars in what is a benign fluid in every sense."

Hickenlooper is also on record saying that he supports 99 percent of socialist Rep. Alexandria Obviously-Comatose's far-left "Green New Deal," which has been projected to cost up to $93 trillion or more. He also supports fifth trimester abortions, but once the baby is able to ask for mercy, he is totally against killing it. "It just isn't right," he said.

Hickenlooper's endorsement of the radical environmentalist plan clashes with his record; an ethics complaint was recently filed against him for taking approximately 100 flights all over the place on private planes "owned by wealthy benefactors and then not disclosing the gifts as the law requires," The Denver Post reported.

But like the idiot whose deal he endorses 99 percent, Hickenlooper is simply living in the world.

Liberal Governor pardons felon from being deported

High in Denver -- Leftist Governor John Hickenlooper (D-CO) pardoned a Cuban immigrant felon and is so confident he made the right decision, he's having him stay at his house until he can get back on his feet and find a way to get his hands on some cash.

Just kidding.

The pardon was for Rene Lima-Marin, 38, a man convicted of armed robbery committed 19 years ago. He came to the U.S. as a toddler as part of the 1980 Mariel boat lift from Cuba and had his legal residency revoked in 2000 due to his criminal conviction. He was sentenced to 98 years in prison for the robbery, but somehow was mistakenly paroled from Colorado state prison in 2008.

Lima-Marin married, had a child and got a job installing glass. But in 2014, state authorities removed their heads from their nether regions and realized their mistake for releasing him from prison. They sent him back to finish out the remainder of his 98 year sentence.

A judge ordered Lima-Marin to be released from prison, saying it would be "draconian" to keep him locked up. However, before he could return home to his loving wife and adorable child, mean immigration authorities spirited him away, citing a still-active deportation order from 2000. 

Talk about efficiency.

Lima-Marin's law team said that only a pardon could stave off deportation.

So low and behold, Hickenlooper, along with bipartisan support of the 98 members of the state Assembly, granted the man clemency.

(Remind me to play the number 98 on the Scratchoff.)

"This was a question of justice," Hickenlooper said at a news conference. "This was a pretty clear example of someone who's done all the work necessary to earn a second chance."

It is still uncertain whether the pardon will stop the deportation, but after Lima-Marin's years of good behavior, and the young age at which he committed the crime, I think he deserves a second chance--let's hope President Trump does too.

District Attorney George Brauchler, who is running against Hickenlooper for governor, and whose office prosecuted Lima-Marin, said the governor didn't give prosecutors time to review the pardon application as required by state law. 

Sounds like Brauchler is trying to discredit the governor for his own political gain at the expense of a man's future--kind of a crummy move.

Carl Rusnok, an ICE spokesman, and a man not running for political office, said that Hickenlooper's pardon alone wouldn't stop the deportation. "Rene Michael Lima Marin currently has final orders of removal from a federal immigration judge," he said in a statement.

[Hint, hint, Mr. Trump.]

Hans Meyer, Lima-Marin's attorney, said he would file motions to vacate that order. "We're incredibly grateful to the governor for a just and fair solution," the smart, Jewish lawyer said. "This is a tremendous first step."

Jason Kasperek, a man known to hold a grudge and the assistant manager at the Blockbuster Video store Lima-Marin and an accomplice robbed in 1998, said that Lima-Marin should be back in prison.

"I just think that it's scandalous how he used the system," Kasperek said as he recalled how the pair held a rifle to his head and forced him to open the store safe. "I think it's completely ridiculous. It's unjust for all victims who have been involved in it."

The Blockbuster was one of two video stores he and Michael Clifton robbed. Both were convicted on multiple robbery, kidnapping and burglary counts. 

Clifton is still in prison serving his 98-year sentence.

Kasperek makes a good point. Why not Clifton?

Lima-Marin had been in immigration detention before this recent development. After his 2008 parole, immigration authorities held him for 180 days, but Cuba would not accept anymore people who had arrived on the Mariel boat lift as deportees. Thus, Lima-Marin was released, but continued to check in with immigration authorities regularly, his wife Jasmine said.

When Obama ended the "wet foot-dry foot" policy that protected Cuban immigrants who'd arrived here, it opened the door for more Cubans from the Mariel boat lift to be deported.

We have to ask ourselves whether Lima-Marin is so smart that he married Jasmine and had a child as part of an elaborate plan to stay out of prison and stay out of Cuba too. 

I doubt it. 

Most criminals, not all but most, aren't that bright nor have the foresight to plan that far ahead in life. I believe Lima-Marin falls in that category.

But if he commits even one more crime, big or small, he needs to go.

Hillary speak with forked tongue on private server

Hillary Clinton never told a lie . . . that she didn't like, or that wasn't politically expedient for her. Regarding the email scandal, she has changed her story as often as a mother changes her infant's diaper. 

In fact, there's a disturbing similarity in that analogy.

Now her email infamy claim about her personal server claiming that "everybody's doing it" doesn't wash with the State Department's former Inspector General, Howard Krongard. In fact, he said that had he been IG at the time, he would have started an investigation. 

Krongard also said that Condoleezza Rice did not use a personal server for government business, but Clinton did.

"Certainly to my knowledge at least, Secretary [Condoleezza] Rice did not have a personal server. I certainly never either sent an email to one or received an email from one," Krongard said. 

He continued, "I would have been stunned had I been asked to send an email to her at a personal server, private address. I would have declined to do so on security grounds and if she had sent one to me, I probably would have started an investigation.


John Hickenlooper  (Duh-Colo.) believes the only reason Hillary is being attacked over the personal email server is because she's a woman (and the reason she's giving the economy job to Bill--girls aren't good at math) proving once again that Democrats are stupid.

If women want to be treated as men, and men running for President are closely scrutinized, then Hillary needs to be closely scrutinized. 

Double-Duh.

The only reason Clinton used a personal server was to avoid Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests. There is no question that Hillary Clinton was in violation of Federal law.


There is a big question as to whether she will be indicted .  .  .  can you indict a monarch?
