Labor Sec. Lori Chavez-DeRemer quits after misconduct probe

Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer became former Labor Secretary on Monday after a whistleblower complaint prompted an investigation launched earlier this year by the Inspector General’s Office, so she resigned.

White House Communications Director Steven Cheung made the official announcement on X, saying Chavez-DeRemer would leave the administration to work in the private sector.

“Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer will be leaving the Administration to take a position in the private sector. She has done a phenomenal job in her role by protecting American workers, enacting fair labor practices, and helping Americans gain additional skills to improve their lives. Keith Sonderling will take on the role of Acting Secretary of Labor,” he posted.

Chavez DeRemer is the third Cabinet member to leave the Trump administration this year. News of the U.S. (NOTUS) was first to report that Chavez-DeRemer was likely to step down, while The New York Post tied her exit to the probe into her alleged use of government-funded travel to visit family and friends, among other things.

According to the report, DeRemer was accused of encouraging staffers to fabricate “official” government trips to areas where she had friends and family so she could visit them at government expense.  Also at issue were claims that she had been drinking during work hours and in the office, and allegations that she had been carrying on an extramarital affair with one of her security guards.

The investigation also delved into a series of text messages between Chavez-DeRemer’s staff members and her husband and her father.

In one such exchange, a staffer identified only as a woman, texted Shawn DeRemer, “I’ve been having so much fun traveling with LCD and being in the moment for everything!! I promise from now on I’ll check in.”

“You better. I was feeling forgotten. I figured you were still in church repenting after your exposure to the demon state of Oregon,” was DeRemer’s reply.

The Inspector General’s investigation is ongoing.

DOT Inspector General Investigating Buttigieg’s use of gov't jets; Buttigieg responds

The Department of Transportation's inspector general announced on Monday that the agency will be auditing Secretary Pete Buttigieg's use of planes the Federal Aviation Administration supplies for his use in which he flies all over the place, as a former president may have worded it.

The Washington Post reported that the out of 18 flights that Buttigieg, who is gay and married to a man and has a child, has taken on FAA planes, only once was it less expensive to fly on the jets than it was to fly on a commercial flight, and that was because the FAA jet was only being towed to the end of the runway where Pete was going to get into an SUV which carried his bicycle so that he could take the bike one block to work while making it appear as if he shlepped it the whole way. In all other cases, commercial flights were less expensive.

“Glad this will be reviewed independently so misleading narratives can be put to rest,” Buttigieg babbled with his 'What, me worry'? face.

“Bottom line: I mostly fly on commercial flights, in economy class. And when I do use our agency’s aircraft, it’s usually a situation where doing so saves taxpayer money.”

A study conducted by the RNC has indicated that people who believe Buttigieg's fable also believe that snakes have hips. and it's necessary to get a COVID-19 booster shot every 3 months.

There will be more to come with this story so stay tuned and stay brain flushed.

Strzok-Page text messages gone

Text messages between fired FBI agent Peter "The Cheater" Strzok and former bureau lawyer Lisa Page that were sent from their time on the Mueller investigation, are gone because by the time their phones were recovered, they were reset for others' use, according to an inspector general.

The IG report also said the FBI still isn’t reliably collecting text messages of all their employees — despite the bad press the bureau has suffered from the paramours.

The report released by Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz  details the efforts his team made attempting to recover the texts between the paramours who shared venomous anti-Trump messages during the course of the affair they were having.

Investigators have already disclosed many of the messages, including one in which Mr. Strzok promised they would “stop” Trump from winning the White House.

But there was a gap in the text messages,  which the inspector general labeled a “collection tool failure,” and the new report detailed investigators’ efforts to recover those messages directly from the Samsung Galaxy phones issued to Strzok and Page.

Although messages were recovered from some FBI phones, the inspector general said that wasn’t the case for Strzok's and Page's phones that were assigned to them during their time on the Mueller probe.

Ms. Page left the probe on July 15, 2017 and Strzok was kicked off the probe in late July, with his final day on August 11, 2017.

The loving couple returned the phones issued to them, and both phones were reset to factory settings and had no content from their use. This is standard procedure for the agency.

The FBI employee who was issued Strzok's phone said she didn't remember it having any substantive messages on it. Page's phone was not found for several months, and finally found this September. It had also been reset with no messages.

Hillary speak with forked tongue on private server

Hillary Clinton never told a lie . . . that she didn't like, or that wasn't politically expedient for her. Regarding the email scandal, she has changed her story as often as a mother changes her infant's diaper.

In fact, there's a disturbing similarity in that analogy.

Now her email infamy claim about her personal server claiming that "everybody's doing it" doesn't wash with the State Department's former Inspector General, Howard Krongard. In fact, he said that had he been IG at the time, he would have started an investigation.

Krongard also said that Condoleezza Rice did not use a personal server for government business, but Clinton did.

"Certainly to my knowledge at least, Secretary [Condoleezza] Rice did not have a personal server. I certainly never either sent an email to one or received an email from one," Krongard said.

He continued, "I would have been stunned had I been asked to send an email to her at a personal server, private address. I would have declined to do so on security grounds and if she had sent one to me, I probably would have started an investigation.

John Hickenlooper  (Duh-Colo.) believes the only reason Hillary is being attacked over the personal email server is because she's a woman (and the reason she's giving the economy job to Bill--girls aren't good at math) proving once again that Democrats are stupid.

If women want to be treated as men, and men running for President are closely scrutinized, then Hillary needs to be closely scrutinized.

Double-Duh.

The only reason Clinton used a personal server was to avoid Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests. There is no question that Hillary Clinton was in violation of Federal law.

There is a big question as to whether she will be indicted .  .  .  can you indict a monarch?
