One killed, five wounded near Judea and Samaria, Israel's rescue services said

In the shadow of a conflict that has long tested the limits of human endurance and political illusion, assailants launched several shooting attacks close to the Israel's Judea and Samaria on Sunday, killing at least one person and wounding five others, according to Israel’s rescue services.

Israel’s police swiftly killed one jihad terrorist. 

Large numbers of soldiers fanned out across the area, searching on foot and from the air for further threats. The scattered locations of the shootings initially suggested a coordinated assault, the kind of nightmare scenario that has haunted these border communities since the horrors of October 7.

Rescue services from Magen David Adom reported the first incident at a gas station near the town of Kokhav Yair, on the Israeli side of the boundary, shortly after 10:30 a.m. Further attacks followed in quick succession: in Tsur Natan, Tsur Yitzhak, and near the settlement of Sal'it inside the West Bank itself.

The perpetrator, police later revealed, was not the imported jihadist many had instinctively feared, but a Palestinian citizen jihadi living in Israel from the nearby Arab town of Taybeh.

Local residents were ordered to remain indoors; children were held in lockdown at their schools. “Since Oct. 7, the scenario we were expecting was terrorist crossing into our towns from over the boundary,” said Oshrit Gani Gonen, the regional council head for the affected area. “I don't think that anyone imagined that we would discover the attackers were Israeli citizens.”

Here, then, is the bitter and recurring truth of this conflict: even the most vigilant defenses against the enemy without cannot fully guard against the enemy within. What was meant to be a clear frontier of threat has once again revealed itself as something more porous and more treacherous, a reminder that the ideologies which fuel this violence do not always respect the neat lines drawn on maps, nor the assumptions of those who would prefer to see it as a simple territorial dispute.

12 injured near Beit Shemesh with reports of shrapnel hitting Eilat by Iran regime

March 28, 2026: At least 12 people were injured near Beit Shemesh following a launch from Iran towards central Israel on Saturday afternoon. 

The Iranian regime loves to target Jews on the Sabbath.

Israeli emergency services reported that several homes and a synagogue were damaged in Moshav Eshtaol as a result of the fall. Also damaged was about 10 homes and dozens of cars as a result of the impact.

Several other people suffered from anxiety and post-traumatic stress symptoms due to the blast, Magen David Adom said.

"We received a report of an impact. We arrived at the scene with mobile intensive care units, an ambulance, and rapid response motorcycles. We saw destruction and people walking around fully conscious," said MDA senior EMT Elad Kadmon. "We provided initial medical treatment to the lightly injured and are conducting searches to ensure there are no additional casualties.”Iranian missile impact site in southern Israel. 

Later on Saturday, two sites of impacted Iranian munitions and Israeli interceptors were reported in open areas in Eilat.

The Municipality of Eilat announced that two missiles were launched at the southern Israeli city: one was intercepted and the other fell in an open area.

BREAKING: 2 Murdered, 2 Wounded in Jihadi Attack in Northern Israel

Once again, the grim reality of life in Israel asserts itself with brutal clarity. On December 26, 2025, a Palestinian terrorist carried out a combined ramming and stabbing attack across multiple sites in the north of the country, murdering two Israeli civilians and wounding others before being neutralized.

The attack began near Beit She'an, where the terrorist deliberately rammed his vehicle into pedestrians. A 68-year-old man, later identified as Shimshon Mordechai (or Mordechai Shimshon), a resident of Beit She'an, was struck and fatally injured. Nearby, a 16-year-old boy was also hit by the vehicle, sustaining light injuries; he was treated at the scene and evacuated to hospital.

As Magen David Adom EMT Daniel Mousai recounted: "When we arrived at the scene, we saw the boy sitting inside a car, conscious and suffering from injuries to his limbs." "Citizens who were there told us that he had been hit by a fleeing vehicle and they helped him in the first moments."

Mousai continued: Just as the team was preparing to transport the boy, they received word of another victim nearby. "I immediately got to him and saw a 68-year-old man lying on the side of the road, suffering from a serious chest injury. Together with the intensive care unit team, we provided medical treatment and performed CPR, but his injury was fatal and we had to pronounce him dead on the spot."

The terrorist then fled, driving along Route 71 where he stopped to stab an 18- or 19-year-old young woman, Aviv Maor, who was killed at the scene.

Continuing toward Afula, the attacker attempted another assault. A 37-year-old man was moderately wounded there, according to a witness speaking to i24news: "The terrorist missed him and ran into an electric pole." "He got out of the vehicle, picked up a huge rock, and brought it down on his head. Immediately afterward the police arrived and took him down."

The terrorist, identified as Ahmad Abu al-Rub (or similar silly variations), a resident of Qabatiya in the West Bank, had illegally infiltrated Israel days earlier. Reports indicate he was employed by an Israeli citizen and used his employer's vehicle in the attack. He was ultimately neutralized by security forces and a civilian bystander, and evacuated to hospital in moderate condition.

In response, Defense Minister Israel Katz directed the IDF to prepare operations in Qabatiya. Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich called for strengthened Israeli control over Judea and Samaria and an end to the employment of illegal residents. Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar pointed to the Palestinian Authority's ongoing incitement and payments to terrorists.

Hamas, predictably, praised the carnage, declaring that "Resistance in all its forms is a legitimate right guaranteed by international law and humanitarian principles for peoples living under occupation."

President Isaac Herzog conveyed condolences to local leaders, while the IDF Chief of Staff conducted assessments.

This is yet another reminder—were one needed—of the persistent ideology that drives such acts: an unyielding refusal to accept Jewish sovereignty in any part of the land, coupled with a culture that too often celebrates the murderer as martyr. While the world rushes to equivocate or look away, Israelis bury their dead and carry on.

Five killed in Beersheba in Iranian missile strike: is this a one-sided ceasefire?

The grim toll of war has once again cast its shadow over Israel, as the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed the death of Corporal Eitan Zacks, an 18-year-old from Beersheba, among five Israelis killed by an Iranian missile strike on Tuesday morning. 

Zacks, a young man in the prime of his life, was undergoing combat training with the Multidimensional Unit (888), his medic course, cruelly ironic, conducted online due to the escalating security crisis. Such is the absurdity of our times: a soldier training to save lives, reduced to a virtual classroom, only to be obliterated by the very threat he was preparing to confront.

The attack on Beersheba was part of a broader Iranian onslaught, with three waves of about 20 ballistic missiles raining down on Israel between 4:45 a.m. and 7:10 a.m. Two missiles targeted Beersheba specifically. One was intercepted, a small mercy; the other slammed into a residential building, leaving devastation in its wake. The IDF is now scrambling to understand why its defenses failed to stop the second missile, a question that carries the weight of lives lost and a nation’s trust in its shield.

The five killed in Beersheba were not caught in the open, vulnerable to the whims of fate. No, they were in their safe rooms, those sanctuaries of last resort that Israelis have come to rely upon in times of existential peril. A direct hit on a wall obliterated these rooms, turning havens into tombs. 

Of the 28 Israelis killed by Iranian missiles in this conflict, only seven, including these five and two from Petah Tikva, perished in such spaces. The IDF estimates that without these rooms, the death toll could have swelled to dozens, perhaps hundreds. Pause for a moment to consider the arithmetic of survival: a nation forced to calculate its losses not in lives taken, but in lives spared by concrete and steel.

In Beersheba, 20 others were wounded, with injuries ranging from cuts and limb damage to the quieter, no less real wounds of anxiety, as reported by Magen David Adom (MDA). Two of the wounded were rushed to Soroka Hospital in moderate condition; six others were lightly injured. 

Three people, sheltering on the fourth floor of a seven-story apartment building, were pulled from the rubble; a small miracle amid the wreckage. Israel’s Fire and Rescue Authority noted that only one person remains missing, with search efforts ongoing. Their warning was stark: “We emphasize again—do not enter the scene! The arrival of civilians endangers public safety and makes it difficult for rescue forces to operate.” A plea for order in the chaos of war.

The assault was not confined to Beersheba. In the North, shrapnel from Iranian missiles wounded at least one person, a 15-year-old in the Hadera region, while debris fell ominously at Ben-Gurion Airport. 

MDA paramedics, those tireless sentinels of life, described the scene with chilling clarity: “We saw thick smoke rising from the crash site, and as we approached, we saw extensive destruction in several buildings,” said Shimrit Sela, a senior paramedic. “Outside one of the buildings, we saw a man lying unconscious at the entrance to one of the buildings. When we went inside to search the building, we saw a man and a woman unconscious. We have set up a point to treat the injured, and we are conducting medical examinations on residents who are leaving the buildings.”

Iran’s barrage continued past 7 a.m., flouting a one-sided ceasefire announced by President Trump. Only at 7:20 a.m., according to Iran’s state media SNN, did Tehran claim to observe the truce, after four waves of missiles had already scarred the morning. 

This is the reality Israel faces: a regime that speaks of peace while its rockets still fly, a regime that targets civilians and calls it strategy. The moral clarity here is inescapable. Iran’s actions are not those of a state seeking coexistence but of one intoxicated by destruction, indifferent to the human cost.

What does it say of our world that a young man like Eitan Zacks, training to heal, is cut down in his own city? That safe rooms, built to protect, become coffins? This is not merely a tragedy; it is a clarion call.

The civilized world must confront the barbarism of a regime that rains missiles on a sleeping nation. To ignore this is to invite more mornings like this one: mornings of smoke, rubble, and inconsolable loss.

Iran’s Cluster Bomb Blitz Targets Israeli Hospital, Civvy Hubs

The IDF has the receipts: Iran unleashed a cluster munition on Israel, and it’s as ugly as it sounds.

 
Here’s the deal: the missile’s warhead was packed with mini-bombs, like cluster bombs used in Vietnam, each lugging 2.5 kg of boom. At 7 km up, it cracked open like a piñata from hell, scattering its payload across an 8 km radius. The Home Front Command dropped the bombshell Thursday, confirming one of Iran’s morning missiles was a cluster job.

 
“The missile’s warhead held several small munitions, each one with 2.5 kg of explosives,” they said. This thing wasn’t messing around, it split at 7 km altitude, flinging its deadly confetti far and wide. The Command says it’s a known beast, designed to detonate on impact.

 
Ground zero was above Azor, just southeast of Tel Aviv. Some of these mini-bombs were duds, which is somehow worse, unexploded ordnance just chilling, ready to ruin someone’s day. “The public is asked not to approach them and to immediately call a bomb disposal team,” the Command stressed. 

Thursday’s barrage was a monster as dozens of missiles raining down, smashing Soroka Hospital and buildings in Tel Aviv, Holon, and Ramat Gan. Israel’s defense systems was able to intercept some, but this was the biggest salvo in the last 48 hours. Magen David Adom tallied 95 injuries in Gush Dan, six critical. The cops released footage from the Ramat Gan stock exchange complex, and it’s grim. Buildings look like they got hit by a wrecking ball—a three-story structure and a high-rise office tower across from it, both mangled. Firefighters and police were all over it, busting into apartments to pull out trapped residents. Some doors got kicked in ‘cause time wasn’t on their side.

Houthi missile interception failure due to technical error

A Houthi missile rocked the Ben-Gurion Airport area Sunday morning, and IDF sources, spilling the beans to The Jerusalem Post, pinned the failure to intercept it on a pesky technical error. No human screw-up, no fancy new Houthi toys—just a glitch in the system.

 
The military, quick to flex, boasted that since the war kicked off, the Israel Air Force has swatted down Houthi missiles with a 95%+ success rate, intercepting dozens like it’s no big deal.

 
The strike left a mark: three lightly wounded, per Magen David Adom. 

A 50-year-old man, a 54-year-old woman, and a 32-year-old woman—caught in the chaos, the latter hurt dashing to a shelter—got medical attention. The blast also tore up the access road to Terminal 3. First time a Houthi missile’s hit Ben-Gurion, but not the first to hit Israeli soil.

 
Defense Minister Israel Katz didn’t mince words, vowing, “Whoever harms us will be struck sevenfold in return.”

Kiryat Shmona Yeshiva students donate blood during shortage

Students from the Kiryat Shmona Hesder Yeshiva made their way back to the city on Wednesday to participate in a blood donation drive due to a critical shortage of blood.

This initiative came after Magen David Adom (MDA) declared a severe shortage of type-O blood.

Working in collaboration with MDA's blood services, the students organized and participated in a drive where they donated around 70 units of blood, which could potentially save around 210 lives, according to MDA.

These students have been consistent donors, participating in blood drives every three months, even before the war began. When the conflict started, they were relocated to Nehalim in central Israel but continued their tradition of blood donation there.

"In these days that we returned north, it was important for us to hold a blood donation in order to maintain this important life-saving tradition and, of course, to help all the sick and injured who need blood," said Yedidia Kellerman, a first-year student and MDA volunteer.

Beyond donating blood, many of these students have also been involved in rebuilding efforts and providing assistance to residents who couldn't evacuate.

MDA highlighted that these students have also volunteered to aid in MDA's rapid response services and medical units in the vicinity.

Why type-O blood?

Type O-negative is known as the universal donor; it's compatible with all blood types, but can only be received by O-negative individuals. In emergencies where a patient's blood type is unknown, O-negative blood is vital for safe transfusions.

MDA issued a public appeal for O-negative blood donations, stating, "There is no substitute for blood, and every unit of blood can help save the lives of three sick or injured people who need blood transfusions. MDA's blood services are calling on the public, with an emphasis on those with type O blood, to come to the donation points and donate blood."

Jew-hating terrorist stabs cop at Old City's Damascus Gate, attacker shot dead at scene

A 20-year-old police officer was slightly injured on Sunday night in a stabbing incident at the Damascus Gate in the Old City of Jerusalem, as reported by Israeli media.

EMTs and paramedics from Magen David Adom (MDA) started treating the officer on the spot. He was awake and in mild condition, MDA said. Nonetheless, he was taken to Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital for additional treatment.

According to a police spokesperson, the attacker was shot at the scene by an officer from the Israel Border Police.

The jihadi tried to flee the scene but was shot, and the officer received treatment at the scene. 

"The terrorist who tried to escape into the Old City was neutralized by other Border Police officers," a police spokesperson said.

"The officer who was stabbed was taken for medical treatment. Police and Border Police officers on the spot closed off the area and began investigating the case."

Islamic terrorists stab husband, wife to death and injure 2 others

An elderly couple was murdered and two others injured in the central city of Holon. The elderly couple was having their morning workout when the stabbing attack occurred Sunday morning at around 7:30 a.m. local time.

The Arab from the Palestinian Authority who was illegally living in Israel, drew a knife and stabbed the four people at a public park.

The stabbings occurred at three different locations, beginning at the park on Moshe Dayan Street, where the terrorist fatally wounded a 66-year-old woman and seriously wounded her 69-year-old husband. The scumbag then continued down Moshe Dayan Street [Dayan was the guy with an eye patch] and stabbed a third victim, then a fourth on Dan Shomron Street near the Egged bus depot.

Two of the victims, an 80-year-old man and a 66-year-old woman, were murdered in the attack.

A third victim, a 69-year-old man – the husband of the slain woman, was seriously wounded, while a fourth victim, a 28-year-old man, is listed in moderate condition.

Emergency first responders from United Hatzalah and Magen David Adom were dispatched to the scene to treat the wounded before evacuating them to Wolfson Medical Center in Holon.

Security forces arrived on the scene and killed the attacker, Amar Razak Kamel Odeh, 34, a native of the Palestinian Authority town of Salfit in Samaria. He was illegally residing in Israel.

“When we arrived at the scene, witnesses reported two individuals, a man and a woman, in critical condition within the local dog park,” relayed United Hatzalah first responders Shmuel Meshulam and Alon Agai.

“Unfortunately, we had to pronounce the death of the woman, estimated to be in her sixties, due to the severity of her injuries. The male victim, around 70 years old, was rushed to Wolfson Hospital in critical condition.”

“We located a third victim in his sixties near the gas station on Moshe Dayan Street, in serious condition. Additionally, a 26-year-old man was found at the entrance of the Egged bus company parking lot on Dan Shomron Street. He was conscious but suffering from stab wounds, and his condition is currently assessed as moderate.”

Five mowed down in Jerusalem in terror attack: terrorist neutralized

Jerusalem, Israel -- Five people were injured Monday, one critically, in a terrorist attack using a vehicle as the weapon. The attack occurred outside the Mahane Yehuda market just hours before Israel's Memorial Day for fallen soldiers and victims of terror, known as Yom Hazikaron.

The jihadi attacked pedestrians on Jaffa Street, directly outside the entrance to the market. The vehicle ran down five people. 

A 70-year-old man among them suffered a serious head trauma and injuries to his limbs and was unconscious. All victims were transferred to local hospitals.

Emergency first responders from Magen David Adom and United Hatzalah were dispatched to the scene to treat the victims and transport them to hospitals.

“When we arrived on scene, we saw an approximately 70 year old male lying on the road semi-conscious near the ramming vehicle. We performed medical checks and saw that he is suffering from head and limb injuries, we moved him to the MICU and rapidly evacuated him to Shaare Tzedek Hospital while undergoing treatment, in serious but stable condition,” said MDA medic Itai Giz.

“Due to the nature of the incident, United Hatzalah’s Psychotrauma and Crisis Response Unit is on its way to the scene to treat people suffering from emotional shock,” United Hatzalah volunteer EMT Tzvi Klein explained.

The terrorist was identified as Hatem Nejima, a 39-year-old resident of the Arab neighborhood of Beit Safafa in eastern Jerusalem. He evidently thought it more important to kill as many Jews as possible rather than help raise his own five children, as he was killed at the scene.

Large numbers of police officers have been deployed to the area amid unconfirmed reports of a second incident on the nearby Agripas Street.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was nearby at the time, delivering a Yom Hazikaron address.

“A few minutes ago, not far from here, there was an attempt to murder Israeli citizens. This terrorist attack, in this place, at this time, reminds us that the land of Israel and the State of Israel are acquired through many trials and tribulations.

“These terrorist attacks come with the expectation that they will overcome us and will uproot us from here, and if they could, they would murder us all. But they will not overcome us; we will overcome them. We have established an exemplary state with exemplary army and police, at a heart-rending price.”

A load of COVID-19 test its from China are faulty

Israel's Magen David Adom paramedic training school had to stop testing for Chinese Communist Wuhan Coronavirus on Wednesday for more than an hour after discovering that the China-patented liquid used with the testing strips before a screening can be administered was potentially faulty, according to Shafir Bottner, director of the school. The liquid was part of a testing kit that had been purchased from China and was about as useful as dog urine [interestingly, dogs are no longer considered part of the China menu but bats and penguins, well, perhaps they still are].

Concern over the liquid was raised when an employee at one of the labs noticed that the color obtained during the test was different than it was supposed to be. The health system analyses concluded that around 10,000 tests have been taken with this faulty liquid in recent days and likely all of these tests would have to be redone.

The health funds and MDA are currently awaiting a decision by the Health Ministry as to what the next steps will be. In the meantime, they were asked only to use those test kits that they are confident are not faulty China crap, like those Chinese finger traps that would fall apart whenever you worried you'd never get your finger free and pulled it apart.

“In light of the fluid color changes in some of the test tubes, we recommend that you use only the systems produced by Biological Industries or NOMAD until we update otherwise,” the Health Ministry informed the health funds.

Bottner said that MDA checked in with all its drive-through, home testing and other facilities and quickly confirmed what tests they had available.

“We took out what wasn’t compatible, and the test centers are working again,” he said.

Bottner also said that this is not the first time a fault in the testing kits has been discovered or that the testing centers or labs have been lacking a needed component to screen people.

On Wednesday, the Health Ministry reported the highest number of tests in a single day: On April 20, 13,342 tests were taken.

Hamassholes fire missiles into Israel, injuring two

Two Israelis were injured Wednesday from shrapnel of an Iron Dome missile landed in the city of Sderot in the southern part of Israel.

According to Magen David Adom rescue services [not to be confused with Mogen David Wine] the injured were evacuated to Barzilai Medical Center.

One victim, a 34-year-old, was in light to moderate condition with glass shard wounds. A 20-year-old in light condition was also injured to his limbs.

In addition, eight civilians were treated at the scene after suffering from stress [aka: the Willies] including two pregnant women.

Two houses in Sderot were hit by shrapnel and a few cars were also damaged.

The IDF reported eight projectiles were fired from the Hamasshole-run enclave and two were shot down by the Iron Dome missile defense system.

The rocket fire from Gaza came after an IDF tank fired on Hamas posts in Gaza due to their firing across the border at civilian engineering vehicles working on the IDF's underground barrier with the coastal enclave.

An IDF report stated: "Terrorists shot at civilian vehicles that were being used in the effort to construct the barrier around the security fence in the northern Gaza Strip. One vehicle was hit."

On Wednesday the IDF closed several roads near the Gaza border because they expected retaliation attacks after the IDF blew away two Hamasshole elites in a strike on Tuesday.

The IDF said Route 25 and a few other roads were closed after Hamas was identified as having cleared military positions along the border. They also made threats against the Israelis.

The fighting never ends. And as long as Islam calls for the death of Jews and other non believers, it never will.
