Biden blocked by judge from giving Obamacare to DACA recipients

A federal judge in North Dakota on Monday blocked the Biden administration from putting into action a new policy that would have made some illegal immigrants eligible for government-supported health care.

U.S. District Judge Daniel Traynor agreed to stop a new rule from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) that would have let people with Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) status sign up for Obamacare. Traynor stated that Kansas and the 18 Republican attorneys general who challenged the policy were likely to win, so he issued a stay against it.

Traynor pointed out that CMS broke the law when it decided to include DACA recipients in the definition of "lawfully present" in the U.S. DACA recipients are people who entered the country illegally as children with their parents and were protected from deportation by an executive action from President Barack Obama.

“The authority granted to CMS by the ACA [Affordable Care Act] is to ascertain whether an individual meets the requirements for lawful status. It by no means allows the agency to circumvent congressional authority and redefine the term ‘lawfully present,’” Traynor wrote.

“As it currently stands, the ACA does not allow federal healthcare subsidies or coverage for aliens who are unlawfully present in the United States,” he added.

Traynor also agreed with the Republican attorneys general that the policy could encourage illegal immigrants to stay in their states because of the healthcare benefits.

Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach, who led the lawsuit, celebrated the decision, saying, “Big win for the rule of law. Congress never intended that illegal aliens should receive Obama care benefits. Indeed, two laws prohibit them from receiving such benefits. The Biden administration tried to break those laws. But we fought back, and defeated the Justice Department.”

The states involved in the lawsuit were Ohio, Idaho, Nebraska, South Carolina, Alabama, Virginia, Tennessee, Indiana, Missouri, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, New Hampshire, Kentucky, Texas, Florida, and Arkansas. They argued that the rule was arbitrary, capricious, and would encourage more illegal immigration.

In response, CMS mentioned they were reviewing the judge's decision but couldn't comment further.

This rule change was opposed by President-elect Donald Trump, whose campaign spokesperson Karoline Leavitt called it “unfair and unsustainable” back in May.

“Joe Biden's handouts for illegal immigrants are especially devastating to Black Americans, Hispanic Americans, and union workers who are forced to watch their jobs and public resources stolen by people who illegally entered our country,” Leavitt, Trump's incoming press secretary, said at the time.

Last month, another judge overturned a different Biden administration program that would have given legal status to hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants.

Finally, the GOP is starting to get it together: Mike Johnson gets the House gavel

Finally, with three weeks without a Speaker of the House, the GOP finally elected Mike Johnson (R-LA) to hold the gavel. Just the other day, I was starting to write about House Majority Whip, Tom Emmer, having received the nomination among a host of other hopefuls, and just like that, he bowed out of the election.

In the first House floor ballot Wednesday, Johnson defeated Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) who was nominated by his party. The vote tally was 220-209 in which a simple majority was needed for victory.

Finally, someone basically united the Republican conference with its minute House majority where the three prior nominees: House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-LA); House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-MN); and Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) failed to do so.

“A man of deep faith, Mike epitomizes what it means to be a servant leader. A deeply respected constitutional lawyer, Mike has dedicated his life to preserving America’s great principles of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness,” House Republican Conference Chairwoman Elise Stefanik (R-NY) said in her speech nominating Johnson on Wednesday.
Today is the day that House Republicans will humbly look in our hearts and elect @RepMikeJohnson as Speaker of the People's House.

— Rep. Elise Stefanik (@RepStefanik)
Meanwhile, not House Speaker Hakeem Jeffries, was dealing with a lot of dust in his eyes.

"Give me liberty of give me mcdeath Rep. Patrick McHenry (R-NC) had been serving as speaker pro tempore during the past few weeks.

Johnson had called for the quick passing of a resolution to condemn Hamas after its barbaric terrorist attacks on Israel, whereas Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) and Ilhan Omar (D-MN) called for Hamas' nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize. [Not as farfetched as you might imagine.]

Looking ahead to the 2024 appropriations process, Johnson included a provision for August that says, “DO NOT break for district work period unless all 12 appropriations bills have passed the House.” Another listed aim of Johnson’s was to expand the GOP majority with the 2024 elections.

Johnson, 51, is a “dedicated husband and father of four and an attorney who has devoted his life and career to fighting for the fundamental freedoms and traditional values that have always been a priority to the people of Louisiana,” according to his congressional biography page. He had also worked as a  constitutional law attorney a college professor, and a radio talk show host, before joining public office.

Once in Congress, Johnson voted for the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act and a healthcare bill that would repeal parts of Obamacare (aka Affordable Care Act).

He also introduced a a border security bill and legislation to make it a crime to transport a minor across state lines to get an abortion without “satisfying parental involvement law.”

The problems within the party aren't new, but they were exacerbated when Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) filed a “motion to vacate the chair” in which Speaker McCarthy sat, in early October after the GOP-controlled House passed a short-term spending bill to avert a government shutdown. Gaetz and seven other glory-hogging Republicans joined with Democrats. Yes, they joined Democrats and got some of us to believe they were right to do so. They ouster McCarthy in a simple majority 216-210 vote.

McCarthy and thankfully Gaetz, along with Scalise and Jordan, rallied in support of Johnson in the end. Former President Donald Trump, the GOP frontrunner in the 2024 presidential race, encouraged members to support Johnson on Wednesday after previously endorsing Jordan for speaker.

Democrats don't like Johnson's being the GOP nominee due to his support of the U.S. Constitution, Old Glory and life.

Rumors fly that Biden is faking his dementia: "Nobody can be that stupid"

It was just another night of gaffes by our so-called President Joe Biden Friday whereby he claimed that Democrats campaigned in "54 states" in 2018 to defend Obamacare.

Now to Joe's credit, it was Obama himself who claimed that he campaigned in 57 states, so that makes him less dumber by 3 states than Obama. The difference, however, is that Obama's flub was unexpected, while knowing Biden, we wait with glee for his next brain fart.

During his Friday evening remarks at the "Pennsylvania Democratic Party Reception," the alleged POTUS touted Democrats' success in protecting the Affordable Care Act (aka Obamacare) from being dismantled during former President Donald Trump’s term.

Trump had campaigned on replacing Obamacare, though as Biden claimed Friday, Democrats campaigned hard in 2018 to prevent that from happening. In his semi-coherent speech, he warned that the GOP will go after their health care if they gain the congressional majority, and all but said the GOP wants the Democrats dead, after touting his role as a uniter.

Two-thirds of the way through his address, Biden said, "And, of course, they’re going try for their 499th time, or whatever the number is — they’re still determined to eliminate the Affordable Care Act. And, by the way, if they do, that means — not a joke, everybody."

'Not a joke' is code for he's lying.

Then he made his latest viral statement. He said, "That’s why we defeated it in 2018 when they tried to do it. We went to 54 states."

Yeah, the first 50, then the 4 states of utter confusion. But some folks believe that Biden is only playing at being this stupid because it's too crazy to believe that anyone as stupid as he seems to be can possibly win the presidency of the most powerful nation on earth.

However, we must remember there are progressives and they don't vote for the brightest among us, they vote for the leftists among us.

Banjo Boy from Deliverance ain't got nothing on Joe

The barely sentient Biden added, "The reason is people didn’t realize that the only reason anybody who has a pre-existing condition can get health care is because of that Affordable Care Act," and warned that "these protections will be gone as well if Republicans get their way."

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) blasted Sleepy Joe for the stupid gaffe, tweeting, "Joe Biden now says there are 54 states. I guess if you count the states of denial, confusion, delusion and disaster that his Regime has caused he just might be on to something."

RealClearPolitics president Tom Bevan mocked Biden and former President Obama – about the 57 state claim as mentioned above – in his tweet, stating, "Looks like we've lost 3 states since 2008!"

Actor and Hollywood conservative Rob Schneider tweeted, "Biden says there are 54 states in America. Next speech he will explain the 81 million votes…"

Journalist Collin Pruett wrote, "Inflation is so bad it’s impacting geography under @JoeBiden."

But seriously, this is our elected President [allegedly], and he cannot speak, whether on teleprompter, cheat sheet, or off the cuff, without sounding like a nursing home resident on the Alzheimer unit. The fact that he is being led by the hand by his wife, just to find his way off stage or elsewhere without wandering off, is sad and looks like a case of elder abuse.

There are remedies for presidents with diminished cognitive capacities, but the alternative is another disaster in the wings with VP Kamala Hahahaharris. At least Joe's age gives him an excuse [but not for being a lying corrupt dickweed] while Harris has no excuse, just a level of incompetence that boggles the mind.

NYC wants to fine New Yorkers for their free speech rights

Speaking in a derogatory way about a person or group of people is disgusting but there used to be a time when our words were protected by the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. You could say anything as long as you didn't call for violence, and sure, a lot of what was said was horrible, rude, vulgar and wrong, but you had the constitutional right to say it.

Now the New York City's Commission on Human Rights said on Thursday that New Yorkers in the Big Apple could face a fine up to $250,000 for using the words "illegal alien . . .  with the intent to demean, humiliate or harass a person."

It's unclear if the same fine would hold for actual illegal aliens but the fine details have not been totally explained.

"Hate has no place here," a tweet from the City of New York read. By that, they also mean "free speech has no place here."

Once they criminalize two words, it's a baby step to criminalize more.

And illegal alien is not derogatory--it's explanative. A person who is in a country unlawfully, [without proper authorization] is in the country illegally. If they are from a different country, they are alien to the country they are in. They are by definition, illegal aliens.

The city's announcement ticked off a list of offensive ways to address immigrants -- including threatening to call the authorities on them for being in the country illegally, or harassing someone for having "limited English proficiency." Both situations are not unlawful, but the uber left New York City wants lawbreakers to be happy and free.

"Threatening to call ICE when motivated by discrimination, derogatory use of the term 'illegal alien,' and discrimination based on limited English proficiency are unlawful discriminatory treatment under the NYC Human Rights Law," the announcement read. So by that statement, the NYC Commission on Human Rights is implying that they can know what is in a person's mind/heart that motivates them to use a perfectly legal term, or to exercise their free speech rights.
It clarified that calling ICE with a "discriminatory motive" was a violation, but it didn't specify what NYC would consider a call to ICE would be that lacked a "discriminatory motive."

"Fines of up to $250,000 can be assessed for each act of willful discrimination, and damages are available to complainants," the leftist city said.

"The NYC Commission on Human Rights ... defines discrimination on the basis of perceived or actual immigration status and national origin under the New York City Human Rights Law in public accommodation, employment, and housing," the announcement read.

This explains why Democrats want to eliminate voter ID and allow illegal aliens sanctuary from the law.

Notice that politicians never have to be personally involved with the decisions they make--only we must--and that was even true with Obamacare.

Ocasio-Cortez's brain is short-circuited or something

"Where's that dead bird again?"
Democratic socialist congressional candidate and low-information darling of the far left, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez spoke with Jon Lovett, on Pod Save America.

Lovett is a former stand-up comic and an Obama/Hillary Clinton speech writer. His "life partner" is Ronan Farrow making Lovett's intersectionality creds beyond reproach.

The host asked Ocasio-Cortez for details as to how her socialist delusions would be paid for, such as universal healthcare and free college tuition. After bloviating for over two minutes, she eventually said that she has no idea. Her obfuscating rhetoric went like this:
"We don't talk about what defense costs; we're about to hit a trillion dollars in debt because of the corporate tax cuts; yet when we talk about pre-K, healthcare, college, suddenly it's unrealistic because of the cost. And it's not just bad faith Republicans that make that argument; you hear it from Democrats as well. What's your response to that?"
She sounded as if her passion equated to economic understanding, but she revealed an utter lack of knowledge regarding economics--something leftists lack as a rule. "Well, I think it's that exact same thing," she said, providing pod cast listeners with a WTF moment.

But she wasn't done:
"It's that we . . . you know they say, 'How are you going to pay for it?' as though they haven't used those same ways to pay for unlimited wars, to pay for trillion dollar tax cuts and tax cut extensions. They use these mechanisms to pay for these things all the time."
She didn't explain what those "same ways" or "mechanisms" are, but hey, she's a democratic socialist--it's all good.
Jon Lovett
But she still wasn't done with her brainy blather:
"They only want to know--it just seems like their pockets are empty when we're talking about education and investing in human capital in the United State: education, healthcare, housing, and investing in the middle class."
Investing in the middle class apparently means taking other people's money and giving it to people who didn't work for it. And the students who want to game the system by getting free college education would have the grown-ups in the room pay for it.

Still more brilliance:
"All of a sudden, there's nothing left. All of a sudden the wealthiest nation in the world, we're just totally scarce. We have complete scarcity when it comes to the things that are most important."
Yeh, like Venezuela, like, when it comes to like scarcity--of freaking food and toilet paper.

And then she said:
"And as for me, I think it belies a lack of moral priority and it's unfortunate" [that other people will not give their money to her or to others who have their hands out].
But the clincher:
"I think that--but I also think that a lot of these folks, especially those perhaps on the Democratic side, perhaps they don't even see it, you know? I don't know. I don't know if that's a generous interpretation or not, but I legitimately think that they start kind of buying into conservative talking points. [Like socialism is like stealing]. They get dragged into their court all the time. And I think it is because there's this really myopic, and also, just misunderstanding of politics [LOL] as this flat 2-dimensional left-right thing. [?] And so they always feel like, 'Okay, the Right says this thing. We have to respond to it.' And that's why they're winning. That's why they've won for the last ten years, because they've dragged us onto their court. And we refuse to have our own strong message to force them to play defense on."
And that is how the government is going to pay for her free college tuition, healthcare and infrastructure.

Oh, wait! She never actually explained how.

Maybe Bernie Sanders can tell us because Ocasio-Cortez doesn't know what the hell she's talking about.

And I believe it's time to stop blogging about her.

Newly released text messages of FBI lovebirds

Nearly 400 pages of additional text messages between two FBI love birds were released regarding the Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into alleged collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian officials.

The newly released texts show that Peter Strzok and his mistress, the beautiful pretty little Ms. Lisa Page, knew that charges against Democratic presidential candidate and former failed secretary of state Hillary Clinton, would not be filed in spite of her illegal activities. And they knew this even before Clinton was interviewed by the FBI. They even knew it before over a dozen others involved in the case were interviewed.

So like our politicians who are exempt from the government shutdown, Obamacare and insider trading law, Clinton was exempt from the Espionage Act and people in the FBI were never going to prosecute her.

Strzok and Page were removed from the probe last summer [but not from each other's arms, much to the chagrin of their spouses] after it was discovered that their private messages between them included anti-Trump rhetoric and allusions to plans of undermining him in office if, God forbid, he got elected.

Which he did; sorry snowflakes.

One political love letter between the Strzok and Page, date July 1, 2016, discussed then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch's decision to accept the FBI's conclusion in the Clinton investigation. Her announcement came just days after it was revealed that Lynch covertly met with former President Bill "I Did Not Have Sex With That Woman" Clinton aboard her plane in Phoenix.

"Timing looks like hell," Strzok texted to Page.

"Yeah, that is awful timing," Page responded. She later added: "It'a a real profile in couragw [sic], since she knows no charges will be brought," alluding to the fact that they knew Hillary would be exonerated and the title of the book "Profiles in Courage" by John F. Kennedy, another philanderer.

Four days later, then-FBI Director James "Lordy-Lordy" Comey announced that no charges will be brought against Clinton.

Last month, the DOJ released hundreds of text messages that the FBI lovebirds traded before they joined the Mueller investigation. Many messages spoke to their observations of the 2016 election and also discussed the Clinton investigation. Based on the texts, GOP lawmakers contended the texts reveal the FBI and Mueller group to be politically biased and tainted against Trump.

Now the FBI should be made to prove that these missing texts between Strzok and Page are not an "obstruction" of congressional oversight or "destruction of evidence."

And with all of this mess, I suspect that nobody will be made to pay under the law.

McCain's integrity circles the bowl

BFFs for life
Senator John McCain told the media that he cannot support the Graham-Cassidy proposal to repeal and replace Obamacare--a main issue he ran on for his reelection to the Senate.

The reason for McCain's turnaround on his promise is simple: he's a lying RINO in bed with the Democrats and hates President Trump to the point where his hatred takes precedence over his integrity.

CNBC reported:
Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) on Friday said he "cannot in good conscience vote for the Graham Cassidy proposal.
McCain is one of four Republican senators who have been undecided on the GOP healthcare overhaul, and his opposition dealt the bill's chances a significant blow.
Also on Friday, Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) said she is leaning toward voting NO on Graham Cassidy. Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul has already expressed his opposition to the bill, which he said didn't fully repeal the Affordable Care Act.
If all three of these votes are nay votes, the bill would not pass. Republicans have until Sept. 30 to pass a health care bill with only 50 votes. After that, they will need 60 votes, a nearly impossible threshold to meet.
So it's obvious that hating a Trump success, at least in McCain's case, outweighs a campaign promise.

And they wonder why the approval rate of congress is in the toilet.

Twitter head diagnosed with NPD--attacks Trump

(Photo: Reuters)
Evan Williams, the co-founder of Twitter, a social media site where on can express bile-like anger in 140 characters, has allegedly been diagnosed with Narcissistic Personality Disorder, my source Vinny tells me.

Williams has been walking the streets telling anyone who would listen that it was him who accidentally put Donald Trump into the White House, and that even Mr. Trump admits it.

In a recent interview with the New York Times Williams said that he learned that Trump credited Twitter for helping him get elected, and Vinny tells me that Williams believes everything President Trump says, most of the time, but felt that he would have been more comfortable with a woman whose illegal email server could have given away state secrets as president, than a guy with funny hair.

"It's a very bad thing, Twitter's role in that," he said. "If it's true that he wouldn't be president if it weren't for Twitter, then yeah, I'm sorry."

His psychiatrist, Vinny tells me, said that it was these words that led him to diagnose Williams with an "Axis II" personality disorder, in this case, NPD.

The White House hasn't responded to the Times for a comment because everyone knows if they did, it would be misconstrued to make Trump look bad. The only reaction came from Press Secretary Sean Spicer who simply said, "Yeah, sure. Whatever."

The 45-year-old narcissistic entrepreneur criticized the internet for rewarding extremes and called it "broken," a word often used by people who have difficulty expressing their views with any substance.

Williams also said that he was wrong for believing the world would be a better place if there was a platform for everyone to freely speak and exchange ideas and is calling for a total rewrite of the First Amendment in order to silence viewpoints that are, in his words, "broken."

In a commencement speech given at the U of N this month, Williams said, "some would say that's what we deserve for giving the power of tweets to Donald Trump."

Yes, and some would say that it was an even playing field in terms of tweet accessibility. Hillary lost--get over it, snowflake.

The prognosis for Axis II disorders is generally poor. Personality is what makes us who we are, and personality disorders like the one Williams was just diagnosed with (according to Vinny) is hard to treat.

There are no medications that can cure a narcissistic person, but sometimes Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) can help them cope with some of the obnoxious behavior they manifest.

Certain medications may prove useful. Antidepressants in the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) class, such as citalopram has sometimes proven useful.

Mood stabilizers such as lamotrigine can bring some relief as well.

In Williams' case, an antipsychotic might be the best way to go and I would hope he'd consider giving it a shot with risperidone. It takes the edge off the voices and puts a smile on your face.

Williams has the advantage of having the finances to deal with his psychiatric situation, something that Obamacare likely wouldn't have been able to do.

We wish him well.

And now I'm off to Twitter to tweet the link to this post.

Democracks: Americans will "die" from ObamaCare changes

(Photo: Fox News)
Alarmist Democracks are trying to get the public to believe that the GOP's overhaul of ObamaCare (which was a crap sandwich to begin with) will cause Americans to "die" as a result of the changes.

"Families will go bankrupt. People will die," Senator Elizabeth "Tossingbull" Warren tweeted Thursday. If you like Warren's doctor you can keep her doctor. If you like her healthcare plan, you can keep her healthcare plan.

The only reason Democrats want to keep ObamaCare is to kiss Obama's ring. If it was such a great plan, how come Congress and the President aren't obligated to have its coverage? If it was so great, how come Obama had to lie about it and Jonathan Gruber said it depended on the "stupidity of the American voter?"

Granted, if the plan is going to cover preexisting conditions, it's going to have to cost more for insurance companies to cover you. But if there can be a government subsidy that can cover preexisting conditions and not cover illegal aliens, the plan will work.

House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) assured the public that people with preexisting conditions will not lose their coverage or have to pay more.

I'm not sure if I believe him. I think the only way to make that happen is a subsidy.

You don't buy health insurance on the way to the hospital.

"Whatever health care plan you have today, if you have a preexisting condition, you can never be denied coverage," Scalise said. "And you can never be charged a dime more, not any more than anybody else in that plan. That's maintained and cannot be waivered by a state."

No House Democrat supported the new measure, which President Trump supports.

Rep. David Cicilline (Duh-R.I.) argued in the House before the vote that "tens of thousands of Americans will die if this bill passes."
"They're all gonna die, Kemosabe"

Cicilline almost fell to the floor, suffering from the vapors, as Warren handed him an ancient Indian brew to bring him back to consciousness. When he opened his eyes, he looked at the members of the House and said, "That's a fact."

So that's the new Democratic talking point: pass it and an untold number of people will die.

This is why Democrats are losing elections.

But don't let me stop you.

NY Gov. Cuomo requires insurance companies to cover contraception

In a move that would make Karl Marx proud but not bathe, NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo said on Saturday that he'd require health insurance companies to cover "medically necessary abortions," which is such a vague term that it virtually translates to all abortions if the woman who wants to kill her baby feels that allowing the baby to live would cause her psychological problems.

It would also cover most forms of contraception at a cost only to the taxpayer, even if he or she isn't the one having sex with the woman.

This is a huge step from what it was like in the dark ages when individuals were responsible for themselves and didn't have to rely on strangers to pay for their condoms and birth control pills.

It's called socialism or communism, depending upon a few minor dynamics.

Cuomo's announcement comes the same day that over a million people around the world, but not in Islamic countries, took to the streets to protest Donald Trump's existence.

The 'Women's March' attracted unattractive protesters, for the most part, some of whom shouted vulgarities at random people not marching, and holding unimaginative signs, some of which were also vulgar, and Madonna, who was quite vulgar and washed up on the shores of irrelevancy.

In Trump-like fashion, Cuomo took to Twitter to tweet about his herculean effort to "firmly secure access to reproductive health services in New York State." Because people love stuff that people other than themselves, pay for.

This was just his way of protecting coverage under Obamacare, or the oxymoron Affordable Care Act.

There would be a mandate that health insurers in New York provide at least one form of FDA-approved contraception exceeding a month's supply at a time. They would also get abortions without paying a penny of their own money.

Health insurers would pay steep fines if they violate these laws simply to keep from going out of business.

Like senators, House representatives,  governors are exempt from Obamacare (aka Affordable Care Act) and they are also not often affected personally by the laws they impose on the public.

This may be another reason why Trump won.

Schumer fights back tears for Harry

Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) had to fight back wet, salty tears in his heavy-hearted farewell to Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid. At one point it looked as if Schumer was going to jump away from the podium and plant a wet one on the failed Minority Leader's leather-like lips.

"Harry, I wouldn't be the senator or the man that I am today without you," Schumer sniffed. His voice quivered with unbelievable emotion as he spoke on Capitol Hill.

Reid picked Schumer to be his replacement as the top leftist instead of Illinois' Dick Durbin, who is the second-ranking in the chamber.

"Thank you from the bottom of my heart, and I will miss you," Schumer said in closing. "It will be quite some time until we see another like Harry Reid. Until then, this portrait will have to do."

Schumer spoke for 15 minutes before the farewell portrait of Reid was unveiled. (Rumor has it that John Boehner has a similar portrait of Reid made of cork that he used as a dartboard.)

Reid has been in the Senate for 30 years and over a decade as the top Democratic "Nay Sayer."

He is responsible for helping President Obama get ObamaCare passed in 2009, which has been steadily increasing in cost and causing the top healthcare insurance providers from dropping out of the system.

Because of Reid, the Republicans now control the Senate and can use his "nuclear option" where a simple majority is needed to pass legislation. What he thought would give more power to the Democrats has come back to bite him on the buns. He leaves the Democratic Party now that they've lost control of the Senate in 2014 and failed to get it back in 2016.

Reid, 77, is the third-longest-serving Senate leader in US history.

Reid, an admitted liar regarding Mitt Romney's tax returns and many other issues, he leaves with a remarkable history that includes helping pass finance reform and take with him a whole lot of money that most civil servants would love to have. Remarkable.

Soon, perhaps, Nancy Pelosi will follow in his footsteps and 'get out of Dodge.'

Obama vows to fight Trump after Robert De Niro is a no-show

President Obama hiked up his mom jeans, grabbed his crotch and rolled his shoulders as he got all "fired up" at President-elect Donald Trump. Both men are reality TV stars, but Trump has promised to roll back Obama's multitudinous regulatory policies.

The man who Trump said was born in Kenya predicted a long fight after he's out of office and majority Republicans take control next year.

Trump has promised to repeal and replace ObamaCare and cancel "every unconstitutional executive action, memorandum and order issued by President Obama."

If "The Donald" does what he promises, he will have effectively eradicated everything President Obama has done to drive the country into a ditch on the left side of the road.

Trump pledged to vastly increase oil and gas drilling on federal lands and open up offshore drilling in the Atlantic and other places where it's blocked.

He also wants to repeal the Clean Power Plan, the effort to limit carbon pollution from coal-fired power plants, that has Obama's signature on it and is his strategy for fighting God's plan of global warming or maybe not warming all that much, but so what?

Currently, the CPP is on hold awaiting a court ruling.

While it's almost a given that Trump will try to repeal or dramatically change ObamaCare, and will have the backing of a Republican-controlled Congress, Obama warned in a conference call with Democrats that it is "not as easy" as some say.

Perhaps Trump's phone battery needs to be charged and his pen is out of ink.

Meanwhile, there are a lot of people who have promised to leave the country if Trump won and they're still here. And Robert De Niro hasn't been heard from since Hillary conceded.

Conway says Dems should call for calm, warns Reid to be "very careful"

Kellyanne Conway, President-elect Trump's senior adviser called on Democratic celebrities, including President for now Obama, and un-indicted felon Hillary Clinton, to go public and call for an end to violent protests over the democratic election results.

Conway also warned Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (aka "Hairy Weed") to "be very careful" about his personal attacks on Trump.

"I am calling for responsibility and decency. I hope President Obama says, 'Cut it out,'" she said on "Fox News Sunday."

"Everybody is looking for a peaceful transition, and you have the Senate minority leader acting like a garden variety political pundit" [with the voice of a little girl].

"I think that the president of the United States, Secretary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, perhaps, others can come forward and ask for calm and ask for a peaceful transition and ask their supporters, which are masquerading as protesters now--many of them professional and paid by the way, I'm sure--ask them to give this man a chance so that this country can flourish," Conway added.

Conway, the first female to run a successful presidential campaign, warned Reid, who thankfully is about to retire in January, to "be very careful about characterizing someone in a legal sense" regarding the attacks he levied on Trump. She said, however, that she was not suggesting legal action was pending, [but if he wanted to, Trump could make Harry disappear].

Reid, in his supreme lack of infinite wisdom, said that Trump has the responsibility for healing a divided, post-election America and that he was "a sexual predator who lost the popular vote and fueled his campaign with bigotry and hate."

In truth, it wasn't bigotry and hate that fueled Trump's campaign, it was the failed policies of Obama and the left that did the fueling. The election, as they say, was a referendum on Obama, and the fact that Clinton was his political clone with a much shriller scream.

In typical intolerant liberal fashion, the nation-wide protests of the democratically decided election were violent and paid for, possibly by George Soros. In Portland, Oregon, one protester was shot, but I suspect he wasn't just singing "We Shall Overcome."

In another incident, a man was taken from his car by a pair of black men as a crowd on the sidelines watched the two punch and kick him because they assumed he voted for Trump.

Conway called for peaceful demonstrations suggesting that some of the violent protesters are former Clinton-backers or paid professionals and "there for nefarious reasons."

"They are booing and spitting on us," Conway said. "I don't like it."

Conway said that Trump would consider amending ObamaCare "out of respect" for the president, after he met with the Celebrity in Chief on Thursday. However, that might not sit well with those who voted for him as he promised a complete repeal of ObamaCare.

"Mr. Trump has made it very clear what his health care plan would look like, and it's not ObamaCare," Ms. Conway told Fox News. And she also made it clear that Trump plans to get rid of the mandate that forces people to buy the plan.

The "stupidity of the American voter" was overestimated by Jonathan Gruber.

We shall also see what becomes of the proverbial wall that has been promised in his campaign. I hope Trump delivers on that, but it's going to be interesting to see if Mexico pays for the damn thing. More importantly, if he is able to stem the flow of illegal immigration, I don't care if it's a wall that does it or better border security.

The election victory of Donald Trump was spectacular. The defeat of Hillary Clinton and the look on her face was wonderful.

But the tears shed by liberals who thought Hillary was a foregone conclusion to take over where Obama left off was priceless.

Trump will not stump for funds now

When a person is nominated to represent his or her party in the run for president, it is customary for the nominee to help the party with fundraising efforts. Except when the nominee is Donald Trump.

Trump has no fundraising events planned for the remainder of his campaign, which is a serious kick in the butt to the GOP's get-out-the-vote operation before Election Day. Traditionally, the Democrats have been better at this task, but now there should be no question that they are going to be hurting because it appears that somebody's ego is hurt. In part, that's understandable--they all took the pledge to support the nominee, and some, like Paul Ryan, isn't living up to his end of the deal.

Steve Mnuchin, the Trump national finance chairman, told the Washington Post on Tuesday that Trump Victory, a joint fundraising committee between the party and campaign, held its last formal fundraiser on October 19th. That was a luncheon in Vegas, baby, on the day of the last presidential debate.

"We've kind of wound down," Mnuchin said. "But the online fundraising continues to be strong."

In contrast to the Trump move (or lack thereof) Hillary Clinton is having her last fundraiser Tuesday night in Miami, but her campaign has scheduled 41 more events between now and November 3rd. The events will feature such surrogates as Hillary's running mate, Tim "The Interrupter" Kaine, Chelsea "Howdy Doody" Clinton and Cher, who cannot remember her last name.

Although Trump's campaign will still bring in donations to help the party, the lack of formal fundraising effectively closes the taps of the money flow to the RNC., which relies on money to help pay for hundreds of field staffers across this great nation of ours. These staffers work on a ground operation to turn out voters to support the entire Republican ticket.

Reince Priebus and other top RNC leaders continue to bring in money for the party, and New York financier Lew Eisenberg , the top RNC fundraiser and chairman of Trump Victory, said he's working "in a united effort" with Mnuchin to raise money via phone calls and impromptu events.

The Trump campaign decided to spend the final two weeks before the election to stay focused on taking his message to the voters:
Hillary sucks, the elections and media are rigged, he doesn't know any of those 11 women and will sue them, he gets huge crowds at his rallies, Obama is a failure and the worst president the country has ever had, ObamaCare is a disaster, make America great again, build the wall and Mexico will pay for it, and Hillary sucks.
"We have minimized his fundraising schedule over the last month to emphasize his focus on political [events]," Mnuchin said. "Unlike Hillary, who has been fundraising and not out and about, he has constantly been out and about."

Mnuchin said Donald doesn't need high-dollar fundraisers because his campaign gets a lot of their funds online, which are on track to hitting a record in October.

The RNC only gets 20 oercent of the money that Trump raises online in conjunction with the party, and the big donations that go to Trump Victory are routed to the party.

As of September 30, Trump's campaign has raised $219 million while Clinton's raised $499 million.

Clinton also appeared to use her advertising wisely, doing ads during the high view times of the Olympic games, while Trump did no ads at all during the games. But Trump out-tweeted Clinton 47 to 1, and has "lots of followers, folks."

And although Trump promised to put $100 million of his own money into the campaign, he only gave $56 million, according to the financial records. Mnuchin went silent when asked if Trump intended to put in the remaining $44 million, but he did say that "He has been very supportive of the campaign with his contributions."

Well, that was his campaign pledge and his talking point at the start.

In spite of the fact that Clinton is leading in the polls, Trump believes that he is leading in the race. Unfortunately, the way it seems to be going, Trump is lagging substantially in the projection of electoral votes.

But with Trump, you never know. I do not count him out and will not be surprised if he pulls it off. It's just that it doesn't seem that he will.

That being said, please go out and vote.

Leaving Obamacare helps company growth

Now that the UnitedHealth Group pulled out of the Obamacare insurance debacle, their earnings forecast has been boosted substantially.

They are the largest US health insurer and health benefits manager, and led the Dow Jones Industrial Average to a 6 percent increase on its third quarter earnings--and the 2017 forecast is looking good.

The company made gains across all facets of the business, with gains in employer-based health programs and those run through Medicaid and Medicare government programs.

"Our growth indicators are positive as we conclude 2016, and we expect to be well positioned in 2017 to better serve consumers and deliver more value to the health system overall," chief executive Stephen Hemsley said.

So leaving Obamacare is a good thing.

Trump tells terminally ill to hang in there and vote for him

Nevada -- Republican nominee for president, Donald Trump, is doing everything possible to win the election next month. While Democrats often use dead voters to win, Mr. Trump is using those who are about to die.

That's perfectly legal.

Trump is urging the terminally ill to hang on until the election so that they can vote for him as reported by Newsweek.com.

Trump was speaking at a campaign rally in Nevada. "I don't care how sick you are," he began, and he really meant it--he doesn't care how sick those people were. "I don't care if you just came back from the doctor and he gave you the worst possible prognosis, meaning it's over," he said, defining the word 'prognosis' for those not medically inclined.

He went on: "Doesn't matter. Hang out till November 8th; get out and vote. And then, all we're gonna say is, 'We love you and we will remember you always.' Get out and vote."

You may think that Trump is coldhearted to say such things, but at least he says them because he lacks a brain-mouth filter. You never have to guess what he is thinking, and you never need to go to Dictionary.com to understand what he's saying.

Hillary Clinton, on the other hand, thinks exactly the same way as Trump, but she has a brain-truth filter and it works just fine.

When she wants to say "Hang on till November; get out and vote," her filter helps her words come out as: "I care how much you are suffering and in my heart I am suffering too. Donald Trump doesn't care if you die, but only after the election. I want you all to live long, fruitful lives, and with the Affordable Care Act and the changes I plan to implement, you will. I will extend your lives and the quality of your life, but I cannot do that if I don't win in November when I hope to become your FIRST FEMALE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!"

While Trump adds: "And don't be foolish, folks. Don't buy green bananas, just in case."

Ben Rhodes and Jonathan Gruber: counting on stupidity

Both Ben Rhodes and Jonathan Gruber seem to believe that the American people are stupid and deserve to be fooled, as long as it's for what they consider to be the greater good.

Gruber talked about how Obamacare depended upon the stupidity of the American voter in order to become a law, and because it was for Obamacare, it was for the greater good, in his mind. The administration knows best what's good for us.

Rhodes, on the other hand, bragged to the New York Tomes Magazine about the Obama administration's success in selling the Iran deal to the American people. He explained that they built an "echo chamber" to sell the plan and made fun of the young reporters who got their information from him.

The House Oversight Committee hearing was to called to look into White House "narratives" regarding the Iran deal after Rhodes shot off his mouth.

Several senators tried to get Mr. Obama to fire Rhodes and a House committee looking into his braggadocio went forward with their hearing in spite of him not showing up to testify. Chairman Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) called on him but Obama shielded his appearance in order to conceal their embarrassment over getting caught with their pants down, much like Bill Clinton did on many occasions, but under different circumstances.

The White House used the old ploy, "executive privilege."

Michael Rubin of the American Enterprise Institute, (they'll pick you up) a guy who is not known to smile or ever crack a joke, accused Rhodes of creating a "propaganda operation."

Ben Rhodes is a journalist like Kim Kardashian is an actress.

Of course, the Democrats could always count upon the committee's top liberal Rep. Elijah-Black-Lives-Matter-Cummings (D-Md.) to to after Republicans with the only arsenal in his quiver--the ad hominem attack--as he criticized the analysts they called while not inviting military generals who support the agreement.

The truth is, Obama fired all of the military generals who didn't agree with him and left a bunch of "Yes Men" in uniform to validate his views.

Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) said that at least Cummings could question the witnesses who showed up, but Rhodes, he said, "didn't bother to show up."

Several GOP-ers wrote to Barack asking him to dump Rhodes, "before he further tarnishes the Office of the President," but we all know that it's too late for that.

The truth is, it's probably foolish at this point for the GOP to make a big fuss over this--the administration looks like lying idiots all by themselves. Just let Trump talk about this with Hillary when they throw down on the debate stage.

Gruber and Rhodes think they've pulled a fast one on the American people, but in fact, the only people who buy their bull are progressive liberals and they're not so American when you get right down to it. If they had their way, they would get rid of the Constitution and replace it with "Rules for Radicals."

What does Trump really believe?

Donald Trump changes his opinions more often than a chameleon changes its cable carrier. When asked about his opinion on bringing in skilled foreign labor for example, his opinion seems to depend upon which TV network the interview is being conducted.

He admits he changed his mind on this issue when questioned at the debate, but you have to wonder if he would have revealed his change of mind if he wasn't asked what his new opinion happens to be.

By the way, politicians call it evolving when they do it, and flip-flopping when others do it.

The Donald even changes the changes of his mind that he has made when he makes additional changes.

Let's look at some of these multiple changes.

On Obamacare:

In his June 16, 2015 campaign announcement, he wanted to get rid of Obamacare and "replace it with something much better."
July 29, 2015. On CNN Trump tells Bash, "I want to take care of everybody. You know, you have a group of people that aren't able to take care of themselves."
Bash: "How are you going to do that?"
Trump: "We're going to have to work out some kind of deal with hospitals where they can get some help, when they are sick, when they have no money and they are sick . . . "
Bash: "How do you do that though?"
Trump: "We're going to have to work out some kind of very, very smart deal with hospitals around the country."

In February 2016,  Trump said he liked the mandate, now he wants to abolish it.

On ISIS:

Last June 16, at his presidential campaign kickoff speech: "Within our military I will find the General Patton or I will find General MacArthur. I will find the right guy. I will find a guy that's going t take that military and make it really work."

Same interview on O'Reilly Bill asked, "Are you telling me you are going to send American ground troops into Syria?"
Trump's response was, "Im not telling you anything."
His secret was kept safe for several minutes until, "I will tell you what my plan will be--you have to go in. You have to go in."
O'Reilly then asked, "With ground troops?"
Trump: "Well, you  bomb the hell out of them and then you encircle it, and then you go in."
And the interview went back and forth as Trump's opinions changed faster than a speeding bullet.

On immigration:

July 23, 2015. "The first thing we have to do is strengthen our borders. And after that, were' going to have plenty of time to talk about it."

July 24, 2015. "Work something out so the good ones can stay. If somebody's been outstanding, we try and work something out."

July 26, 2015. "We're going to do what's right; some are going to have to go. And some, we're just going to see what happens."

July 27, 2015. "But the good ones--of which there are many--I want to expedite it so they can come back in legally."

July 29, 2015. On a CNN interview with Dana Bash, she asks, "What about the 'Dreamers'? What about people who came here when they were children, they didn't know what they were doing, they came with their parents who brought them here illegally? Should they have to leave too?"
Trump responded: "They're with their parents? It depends."

On Meet the Press, Sunday, Chuck Todd discussing the 'Dreamers' asked, "You're going to kick them out?"
Trump: "They have to go."

In the March GOP debate, Trump said he would have the military commit war crimes. Specifically, the crimes in question have to do with killing the families of terrorists, and use interrogation techniques like waterboarding and worse.
Trump: "They're not going to refuse me. If I say do it, they're going to do it."

He has since changed his opinion on this.

What I believe we're seeing is a candidate who knows what to say to the audience in front of him but knows little about the Constitution and the law. If Trump is evolving, then he's too much of a neophyte to be running the nation.

If he has a hidden agenda beyond serving his ego needs, than is he any better than a Barack Obama?

Still, if Trump won the GOP nomination, I would vote for him in a heartbeat. When George Burns, in his 90s was asked how it felt to be old, he said something like, "I prefer this to the alternative."

George also said, "When I was young, the Dead Sea was only sick."

I am thinking of the alternative.

Citizen cannon fodder

Isn't it ironic that people in Congress are not required to have Obamacare like the rest of us? I don't believe the Obama administration has been fair with the American people.

Now that Obama has obtained the biggest one-time release of federal inmates in the nation's history, isn't it ironic that Congressional staff, the Obama administration, Valerie Jarrett, and the so-called president himself, get Secret Service protection? Yes, it's just as ironic as Diane Feinstein being all in for more and more gun control while she keeps her piece in her purse and also has SS protection.

Since the start of November, 6112 federal inmates are now walking among us because of a decision made by the U.S. Sentencing Commission to reduce sentences for most drug trafficking offenses and apply them retroactively.

Many of these offenders have been incarcerated for years and now that they've been set free, how will they be able to find employment when they have to compete with the illegal aliens who come across our borders like a certain species of rodent leaving a sinking ship?
Where's Waldo

Where is the safety net to help these so-called non-violent offenders make a smooth transition from a life of crafting license plates and shivs to keeping up with the Kardashians? How will these once-upon-a-time miscreants find a decent job?

"On average these criminals have been in federal prison for nine years--you don't have to be a sheriff to realize that a felon, after nine years in jail, isn't going to be adding value to the community. A third are illegals and felons, so they can't work. What do we think they are going to do?" Sheriff Paul Babeu of Pinal County, AZ asked.

The not-so blind Justice Department says that 77% of current inmates are in half-way houses or home confinement.

I already feel better about that. I mean, what are the chances of recidivism?
Fieldgoal?

On the good side, only 1,764 of these drug traffickers are illegal aliens, which makes them illegal alien drug traffickers. These scumcrumpets are slated for deportation, so what are the chances they'll return to traffic more drugs or shoot innocent Americans out for a walk along a boardwalk?

There is no way the United States of America is going to allow them to return here again, knowing what we know about these guys.

Never mind.

9 Reasons Why the Iran Nuclear Deal Sucks

President Obama wanted the nuclear deal with Iran more than a crack addict who voted for him wanted another "hit."

So while Russia, China, Iran and Barack do a victory dance, something smells in Denmark. In fact, just by virtue of who is actually doing the victory dance, this should tell you a lot about what this deal really does for Iran and to the USA and our ally Israel. Without a doubt, it will make Iran a stronger terrorist nation and significantly lessen our security in the West.

Let's look at why the deal sucks:

1. It boosts Iran's economy by lifting sanctions that have crippled the terror state's ability to fund other terrorist states and organizations such as Hezbollah, Assad's Syria, and the Iraqi militias. It also makes it easier for Iran to get their wish for the destruction of Israel and the death to all Jews as prescribed in the Koran. The deal will provide the Shi'ite state with $150 billion in revenue that will likely go to fund terror and build the best nuclear bomb delivery systems money can buy.

2. It prohibits nuclear site inspections by United States inspectors and the "anytime, anywhere" Obama administration claims to how these inspections will be carried out, it a lie. In fact, Iran can block access to inspectors to any undeclared nuclear site, and the only thing that would prevent these puss-bags from building a bomb on one of these sites would be a change of heart by the Iranians who still chant "Death to America, death to Israel." Once denied, the reason for denial is adjudicated by a committee which Iran also sits on. Next it goes through several other processes, also sat on by Iran. It can take up to 24 days before permission to inspect is granted, and by that time, "the coast is clear."

What are the chances of Iran developing a secret bomb?

3. The chanting "Death to America" has not stopped, so what makes anyone believe that the development of a nuclear bomb has stopped? The ayatollah has stated quite clearly that nothing has changed. America is still the enemy and they will continue to support the same terrorists they supported when this all began and John Kerry was being insulted and screamed at in Vienna.
"Eight, nine, ten. See? I can do it."

4. Obama's sidekick, Susan Rice, admitted to CNN's Wolf Blitzer that we can expect some of the money Iran will receive will be spent on funding terrorism and their military.

"Yes, it is real, it is possible, and, in fact, we should expect that some portion of that money would go to the Iranian military and could potentially be used for the kinds of bad behavior that we have seen in the region up until now," the half-witted Susan Rice said.

Why is that possibility acceptable? Oh, right, Obama's girls will never have to serve in the military and his family is well-protected against any sort of attack. And Valerie Jarrett might just have an "in" in Iran. No worries, Mr. President.

Or else Barack Hussein Obama is so naive, he believes his own crap.

5. The releasing of American hostages was "off the table" for this deal. Why? Because our Secretary of State and the Obama administration doesn't have the balls to demand their release--or no deal. Like I said, Obama wanted this deal more than a crack addict wants his next hit.

Three men, the Christian missionary Saeed Abedini, our U.S. Marine Amir Hekmati,
and Washington Post journalist, Jason Rezaian are being held in Iran and Obama-Kerry have been impotent to obtain their release. Robert Levinson, a former FBI and DEA agent, has been held hostage for over 8 years and his current whereabouts and situation are not known.

Just because Iran wants this issue "off the table" is no reason to obey them. I wouldn't have been surprised to see photos of Kerry with a leather obedience S&M collar being held by Javad Zarif, Iran's negotiator.

Sarah Shourd, a former Iranian hostage makes a good case for having included the hostage release as part of the nuclear deal.

6. Almost 80 percent of Americans think the nuclear deal with Iran sucks. We believe that lifting the sanctions was a bad idea according to an AP poll, which showed 77% of us believe sanctions should be kept or increased, certainly not lifted as this crappy deal spells out.

Relying on his ability to baffle with his bull, Obama is now on a two-month long campaign (as the legislative body has 60 to review this bad deal) to build support for his crappy deal. I suspect he will appear on The Daily Show and other late night spots to make his appeal to his base. Maybe, if we're lucky, he'll sing the blues in falsetto.

The Congress will begin the review process of this deal on Monday. Let us all hope they firmly reject it with a super-majority.

7. This deal will do nothing to stop China and Putin to supply the terrorist state of Iran with weapons to kill Americans and Israelis.

Sergey Lavrov (Russia's Foreign Minister and the guy who was gifted with Hillary's "reset" button that really said "overcharged") confirmed that "weapons supplies will be possible" without impunity under this crappy deal. "Russia and China will continue to make weapons deals with Iran under U.N. procedures."

Fox News' Charles Krauthammer said about this issue that "the net effect of this capitulation will be not only to endanger our Middle East allies now under threat from Iran and its proxies, but to endanger our own naval forces in the Persian Gulf. Imagine how Iran's acquisition of the most advanced anti-ship missiles would threaten our control over the Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz, waterways we have kept open for international commerce for a half century."

8. Israel is thrown under the bus at the end of the day as Obama kicks the can down the road.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu urged the U.S. lawmakers to hold out for a better deal adding that there is no way the U.S. can compensate Israel if the deal goes through. He believes the deal only delays Iran's ability to develop nuclear weapons.

Obama is betting his nation and ours that he's wrong.

"Everybody talks about compensating Israel," Bibi said on ABC. "If this deal is supposed to make Israel and our Arab neighbors safer, why should we be compensated with anything?"

9. Finally, if Iran was using its Uranium enrichment facilities for peaceful purposes, why were they built with military-type structures underground?

Basically, he's a schmuck
Iran has never told the truth about anything they were planning to do militarily. Their promises with this deal is merely what is known by Islam as "taqiyya," or lying in service of furthering Islam.

Picture this: the USA is a big, green frog, and Iran is a dark, slimy scorpion. We are trusting the scorpion to carry us across the pond.

Obama is counting on "the stupidity of the American voter," as Jonathan Gruber pointed out regarding the passage of Obamacare.

Of course, Gruber was talking about the voters who believed his lies--we refer to them as "liberals."
