Finally, the GOP is starting to get it together: Mike Johnson gets the House gavel

Finally, with three weeks without a Speaker of the House, the GOP finally elected Mike Johnson (R-LA) to hold the gavel. Just the other day, I was starting to write about House Majority Whip, Tom Emmer, having received the nomination among a host of other hopefuls, and just like that, he bowed out of the election.

In the first House floor ballot Wednesday, Johnson defeated Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) who was nominated by his party. The vote tally was 220-209 in which a simple majority was needed for victory.

Finally, someone basically united the Republican conference with its minute House majority where the three prior nominees: House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-LA); House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-MN); and Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) failed to do so.

“A man of deep faith, Mike epitomizes what it means to be a servant leader. A deeply respected constitutional lawyer, Mike has dedicated his life to preserving America’s great principles of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness,” House Republican Conference Chairwoman Elise Stefanik (R-NY) said in her speech nominating Johnson on Wednesday.
Today is the day that House Republicans will humbly look in our hearts and elect @RepMikeJohnson as Speaker of the People's House.

— Rep. Elise Stefanik (@RepStefanik)
Meanwhile, not House Speaker Hakeem Jeffries, was dealing with a lot of dust in his eyes.

"Give me liberty of give me mcdeath Rep. Patrick McHenry (R-NC) had been serving as speaker pro tempore during the past few weeks.

Johnson had called for the quick passing of a resolution to condemn Hamas after its barbaric terrorist attacks on Israel, whereas Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) and Ilhan Omar (D-MN) called for Hamas' nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize. [Not as farfetched as you might imagine.]

Looking ahead to the 2024 appropriations process, Johnson included a provision for August that says, “DO NOT break for district work period unless all 12 appropriations bills have passed the House.” Another listed aim of Johnson’s was to expand the GOP majority with the 2024 elections.

Johnson, 51, is a “dedicated husband and father of four and an attorney who has devoted his life and career to fighting for the fundamental freedoms and traditional values that have always been a priority to the people of Louisiana,” according to his congressional biography page. He had also worked as a  constitutional law attorney a college professor, and a radio talk show host, before joining public office.

Once in Congress, Johnson voted for the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act and a healthcare bill that would repeal parts of Obamacare (aka Affordable Care Act).

He also introduced a a border security bill and legislation to make it a crime to transport a minor across state lines to get an abortion without “satisfying parental involvement law.”

The problems within the party aren't new, but they were exacerbated when Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) filed a “motion to vacate the chair” in which Speaker McCarthy sat, in early October after the GOP-controlled House passed a short-term spending bill to avert a government shutdown. Gaetz and seven other glory-hogging Republicans joined with Democrats. Yes, they joined Democrats and got some of us to believe they were right to do so. They ouster McCarthy in a simple majority 216-210 vote.

McCarthy and thankfully Gaetz, along with Scalise and Jordan, rallied in support of Johnson in the end. Former President Donald Trump, the GOP frontrunner in the 2024 presidential race, encouraged members to support Johnson on Wednesday after previously endorsing Jordan for speaker.

Democrats don't like Johnson's being the GOP nominee due to his support of the U.S. Constitution, Old Glory and life.

Biden Grills as Israel burns--McCarthy tells him to "turn off the barbecue"

Former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) has always been a staunch defender of Israel and its right to exist. Now that Israel is at war with Hamas and possibly Hezbollah if they continue to antagonize the Jewish State, the United States, under the alleged leadership of a president who cannot string an entire sentence together or find his way off stage, has pledged to stand behind our closest ally in the Middle East.

So what did Biden do as Israel was fighting off a sneak attack by the terrorists? He and his staff had a barbecue on Sunday while civilians,  including women and babies were being slaughtered. If you want to see just how horrible, how terribly horrible, evil and disgustingly anti-Semitic Hamas is, you need to check out Ben Shapiro's take on The Daily Wire. It isn't easy to watch, but like Ben said, you need to see it.

Anyway, back to braindead Biden and Kevin McCarthy.

"To the president, turn off the barbecue and speak to the American people to be the leader the world is looking for," McCarthy said on Monday. He also called for a "five point plan" for the US government to support the Jewish State in its defense, with our first priority of locating and identifying Americans being held hostage by Hamas.

"This administration must also make clear that harming any American will result in the wrath of the United States," the former Speaker said. "We cannot repeat what happened in Afghanistan. It must be clear that we do not negotiate with terrorists and no American will be left behind."

McCarthy held a press conference on Monday amid the House's fight for a new speaker as well as the opening days of the bloody war in Israel. Some Republicans want him back and are calling for those Republicans who voted him out of the speakership, to simply vote 'present' if they so wish, and allow McCarthy to hold the seat again.

McCarthy has called for the U.S. to "confront Iran" and "resupply Israel." He then condemned the leftist anti-Semites who call themselves the squad, including Repulive Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), for their weak statements and controversial rhetoric about Israel.

"As Speaker, I watched a number on the other side of the aisle tried to reserve a building in here to celebrate anti-Semitism," McCarthy said of Tlaib.

He added about Omar: "I removed a member from Foreign Affairs based upon anti-Semitism."

And he is telling the truth.

The Democrat Party is defending the indefensible with Hamas.

Biden impeachment probe hearing to begin next week

The first public hearing in the impeachment inquiry into alleged President Biden has been set for September 28th.

A House Oversight Committee spokesperson said on Tuesday that the hearing will focus on “constitutional and legal questions surrounding the president’s involvement in corruption and abuse of public office.”

And while it's obvious that Joe "Mumbles" Biden and Hunter Biden had their hands out to several foreign businesses, he will likely receive no repercussions from it and Hunter will likely be pardoned by Daddy.

Rep. James Comer (R-KY) who leads the panel, plans to subpoena the bank records of Hunter and Joe's brother, Jimmy "Bag-o-Donuts" Biden, both with foreign business interests that don't look kosher and are at the center of this inquiry that Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) announced last week.

The purpose of the subpoenas are to discover if funds from China and Ukraine made its way to Joe Biden [aka the alleged Big Guy], and there should be little doubt that this garbage is going to be challenged and tied up in the court as to whether Congress has a right to the information.

“The Oversight Committee will continue to follow the evidence and money trail to provide the transparency and accountability that Americans demand from their government,” the spokesperson said.

Hunter, 53, complained in a message retrieved from his famous abandoned laptop that he had to pay “half” of his income to his father.

It would appear that the Biden crime family is going down for the count, but who are we kidding--they're going to walk away from all of this and flip the nation off in the process.

Hunter Biden expected to be indicted soon, or so they say

We can believe it when it happens but not before. The Hunter Biden special council is seeking a new indictment on alleged President Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden,

Federal prosecutors are apparently planning to ask a grand jury to indict Hunter by the end of this month, according to court documents filed Wednesday. While specific charges were not clear, it seems they are related to a gun possession charge while having a firearm while being an illicit drug user. He also lied on ATF Form 4473 in making the claim that he was eligible to own a firearm, and worst of all, he discarded the weapon in a dumpster like a common thug.

He has also been under investigation by federal prosecutors for his allegedly shady business dealings that probably involved his father, President Joe Biden, but that will probably not be in the court case because it looks bad for Joe who obviously doesn't need more help looking bad.

U.S. Attorney for Delaware David Weiss, newly named a special counsel in the case, referred to a seeking an indictment before Sept. 29 in a status report required by Judge Maryellen Noreika, a Trump-appointed Democrat who symbolically peed in Hunter's "sweetheart" plea deal that his lawyers tried to sneak past her. See, there are good Democrats if you look hard enough.

This is the "smartest guy" Joe Biden knows

Hunter originally pleaded guilty, but when Noreika smoked out the bull crap in the plea deal, he pleaded not guilty.

The deal contained an immunity clause against federal prosecutions for additional potential crimes but fell apart in July.

News of a possible new indictment comes as House Republicans claim that they are preparing for a likely impeachment inquiry of President Biden over unsubstantiated claims that he played a role in his son’s foreign business affairs during his time as vice president.

“If you look at all the information we have been able to gather so far, it is a natural step forward that you would have to go to an impeachment inquiry,” House Speaker Kevin McCarthy told Fox News recently.

Hunter, who has a history of photographing himself doing drugs, doing prostitutes, and speeding in his car, has all but said that he is untouchable. Meanwhile, he has been targeted by congressional GOPers for some reason. In fact, three House committees are investigating several lines of inquiry related to both Joe and Hunter Biden and are attempting to connect Hunter's financial shenanigans directly to his nearly brain-dead father, who recently acknowledged the fact that he has another grandchild as a result of his son being unable to keep his zipper zipped.

Joe claims he won't pardon Hunter: believe him this time?

POTUS seen here picking his nose

It's hard to tell when President Joe Biden is lying because it's hard to decipher the sounds emitted from his mouth. So when the White House's incompetent black lesbian Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre [KJP] speaks on Joe's behalf, it's best to wait and see what ends up being the truth.

KJP was her usual adamant self when she claimed that Joe's drug-addled, whoring, bag-man son, Hunter, would not be granted clemency by the President. This comes one day following his rejected probation-only plea deal on gun charges and taxes that U.S. District Judge Maryellen Noreika issued after she realized Hunter's lawyers were trying to play her.

“Is there any possibility that the president would end up pardoning his son?” a reporter asked the affirmative action Press Secretary at her regular briefing.

“No,” KJP replied, uncharacteristically responding to the question with a related answer.

When the same Fox News reporter tried to ask a follow-up question, KJP snapped, “I just said no — I just answered” and called on a different journalist, but not the guy from Africa who she always refuses to call on but someone who would ask easier questions.

The way the U.S. Constitution is worded, a president could pardon anyone they want, and in our geriatric president's case, that would be his son. However, if he did, that would cause a huge political blowback.

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (RINO-CA) has made comments this week about a possible impeachment inquiry into the President's role in Hunter's foreign business dealings such as those in China, Mexico, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Ukraine, where Hunter did not register as a foreign agent as the law requires, and where he paid off someone referred to as the "big guy."

A reporter from the far-left Salon asked a question to which KJP claimed that Hunter did not receive "favorable treatment" from his father's Justice Department, and amazingly, nobody rolled on the floor laughing their ass off.

He borrowed Dad's aviator glasses

In fact, two IRS whistleblowers revealed that Biden-appointed US Attorneys in Washington, DC and Los Angeles blocked charges against Hunter leading to what assistant US attorney Leo Wise repeatedly admitted in court Thursday was an unprecedented plea deal.

The Salon "reporter" asked KJP, “Can you state categorically that the administration has neither sought nor received favorable treatment from the DOJ for any investigation into the president, members of the administration, his family or former President Donald Trump?”

“Absolutely not,” the incompetent Press Secretary responded. “The Department of Justice is independent, the president respects the rule of law, he’s been saying that since he was before [sic] president and that will remain the case,” she said, hoping anyone would believe the load she was shoveling.

Joe Biden repeatedly interacted with his son’s foreign business partners in spite of him lying that he never was involved with any of Hunter's business deals.

Hunter’s plea deal to two tax misdemeanors and a gun possession felony would have been expunged after two years had the judge fallen for the gambit his lawyers tried to trick the judge into signing.

The sides will appear again in court in 30 days after filings on next steps.

Jayapal getting the Adam Schiff treatment from House GOP over anti-Semitic comments

Jayapal identifies as a swamp creature

House Republicans are attempting to censure Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) for calling Israel a "racist state." After realizing she was saying those words out loud, she later tried walking them back. She even voted "yes" on a GOP-led resolution stating that Israel is not a racist or apartheid state, but that is too little too late and an obvious attempt for the chairwoman of the Congressional Progressive Caucus to stay out of trouble.

Isn't it sad that we need a resolution to state the obvious about Israel and bite our tongues over the obvious about Palestine and most of the Middle East?

Jayapal said at a Netroots Nation panel in Chicago last weekend, "I want you to know that we have been fighting to make it clear that Israel is a racist state, that the Palestinian people deserve self-determination and autonomy, that the dream of a two-state solution is slipping away from us — that it doesn't even feel possible."

Jayapal's embarrassing anti-Semitic remarks [because let's face it, attacking Israel is a backdoor way of attacking the Jews] came just prior to Israel's President Herzog's address to a joint meeting of Congress.

After she walked it back, however, she couldn't help but take a poke at Israel's Prime Minister: "I do, however, believe that Netanyahu’s extreme right-wing government has engaged in discriminatory and outright racist policies and that there are extreme racists driving that policy within the leadership of the current government."

Reps. Andy Ogles (R-TN), Randy Weber (R-TX), and Jeff Duncan (R-SC) filed the resolution on Thursday but it isn't certain that House leaders will bring it to the floor for a vote. Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) has yet to comment on the resolution.

It looks like Republicans are going to use this opportunity to highlight the divides between the two major parties after a boatload of progressive-led anti-Zionist bile was evident among the Democrats, particularly those members of the so-called "squad."

Two committees linked to "squad" member Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) and another "squad"-linked and another one linked to the "squad" send thousands of dollars to an anti-Israel/anti-Semitic firm over the past two years, as filings indicate.

Together, these progressive entities combined to send almost $270,000 to Unbought Power LLC, a Florida-based consulting and advocacy firm owned and operated by Rasha Mubarak, a political activist who had openly expressed anti-Israel views on social media platforms.

Another member of the "squad" had also come under strong criticism over past anti-Semitic rhetoric. Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar, another overt anti-Israel/anti-Semite, has an ongoing problem with her mouth and brain as she has uttered many comments and tropes about Israel and the Jews.

Jayapal's initial blather was quickly rebuked by House Democratic leaders and also in a letter by 43 of her colleagues who called her comments "unacceptable." The resolution to support Israel received wide approval, however even then, nine Democrats voted against it.

House rejects censuring Schiff including 20 GOPers who voted with them

The Republican-led House of Self-Interested Representatives on Wednesday voted against a formal censure of Rep. Adam "Shiftless" Schiff (D-CA) for lying about collusion between Russia and former President Trump (R-USA) and claiming to have inside information from top secret sources.

Twenty GOPers joined the majority of progressive Democrats in voting 225-196 in favor of tabling the resolution to censure and condemn the lying Schiff, while seven cowardly members voted “present” and five did not cast a vote as they were out looking for their spines.

Take note of the following Republicans [in alphabetical order] who voted with the left to table the motion:

Reps. Kelly Armstrong (ND), Lori Chavez-DeRemer (OR), Juan Ciscomani (AZ), Tom Cole (OK), Warren Davidson (OH), Brian Fitzpatrick (PA), Kay Granger (TX), Garret Graves (LA), Thomas Kean Jr. (NJ), Kevin Kiley (CA), Young Kim (CA), Mike Lawler (NY), Thomas Massie (KY), Tom McClintock (CA), Mark Molinaro (NY), Jay Obernolte (CA), Mike Simpson (ID), Mike Turner (OH), David Valadao (CA) and little Steve Womack (AR).

The one Republican with the 'biggest set' was Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL). She was the person who brought forward the resolution, meant to be fast-tracked for consideration, and she referred it to the House Ethics Committee, an obvious oxymoron much like jumbo shrimp.

The four-page resolution primarily accused Schiff of abusing his position and lying about the Russia matter, but also mentioned issues related to the Ukraine-focused impeachment inquiry against Trump.

Unfortunately, the one issue that gummed up the bill and caused the GOP have the vapors was a clause calling for the pencil-neck geek to be fined millions of dollars if the panel found that he lied and abused sensitive information obtained from his former role in the House Intelligence Committee. He was kicked off the committee by the incoming Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA).

Rep. Luna proposed a $16 million fine as it represents roughly half the cost of special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian election interference.

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) said Schiff acted “unethically,” but the measure was not constitutional because it would violate the 8th and 27th Amendments regarding excessive fines and that it would require an election before a fine could be put into effect.

Rep. Luna tried to clarify that the financial penalty in the motion was a “suggested fine that can be paid with campaign funds, like any other fine levied by Ethics,” but that did not alleviate the concerns nor make it constitutional, unfortunately.

“Allowing a majority of Congress to take $16 million (92 years of pay) from any member of Congress is shortsighted,” Massie tweeted after the vote. “Can we not imagine a time when this precedent would be used against conservatives? Fortunately it failed.”

Okay, okay, Massie is correct, but wouldn't it have been fun to have the resolution pass? Too bad Luna went overboard as Schiff lives to lie another day . . . at least for now.

So sure, we may want to vote those RINOs out who voted with the Democrats, but what they actually did was to act in a pro-constitutional, aka conservative, fashion.

McCarthy threatens FBI Director with contempt for hiding Biden bribe tip

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (D-CA) on Tuesday said he will do all he an to hold FBI Director Christopher Wray in contempt of Congress, just like they did with Eric Holder who basically flipped them off and went on his way. That's because Congress holding people in contempt is like a butterfly attacking  worm. The worm is indifferent and could care less.

Wray refuses to share an informant file that accuses President Biden and the Biden crime family of a $5 million bribery scheme while he was vice president, in spite of GOP bluster.

“Let me tell Director Christopher Wray right here, right now: If he misses the deadline today, I’m prepared to move contempt charges in Congress against him,” McCarthy said on 'Fox & Friends.' “I personally called Director Wray and told him he needs to send that document. Today is the deadline,” he added.

“We have jurisdiction over this. He can send us that document. We have the right to look at that —Republicans and Democrats alike in that committee. And if he does not follow through with the law, we will move contempt charges against Christopher Wray and the FBI. They are not above the law,” he said. McCarthy said that he will lead an effort to hold FBI Director Christopher Wray in contempt of Congress if he refuses to share an informant file about President Biden, and that won't look good on his resume.

McCarthy called Wray on May 19 and said afterward he believed the FBI would comply with the Oversight Committee subpoena.

Clockwise: Wray, Comer, Biden Crime Family

Comer, meanwhile, is scheduled for a Wednesday call with Wray  now that the deadline passed.

“I see sensitive documents all the time. I told him he could redact certain parts of that — names and others, so we wouldn’t know methods,” McCarthy said, in an attempt to take away any arguments Wray might pose against releasing them.

“But we have a right to see it. He does not have the right to choose what he can and cannot show us. We oversee the FBI and if he thinks differently, he will soon see a contempt charge in Congress against the director,” he continued.

“There’s enough problems in the FBI and I will not sit back and allow him to ignore this. We will get this document. … He knows that there’s a document and we have a responsibility to see it.”

Meanwhile, if Wray refuses to release the hounds, he will receive kudos from the administration.

A contempt of Congress vote can carry criminal penalties but serves primarily to shame the officeholder and Wray already has enough reasons to be ashamed of his existence as anyone in the Biden administration.

Other tools available to enforce subpoenas include litigation, withholding of funding, or impeachment. You have a better chance of seeing Haley's Comet three times from Herald Square.

House Speaker McCarthy blocks Rashida Tlaib from hosting "anti-Semitic" Nakba event

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) canceled an anti-Semitic event at the U.S. Capitol that was to be hosted by Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI).  The event, known as Nakba, decries Israel as a "disaster" for Palestinians and the Islamic world.

Tlaib had attempted to reserve space at the Visitor Center of the Capitol but the Speaker stopped her by reserving the space she had planned to use for himself. McCarthy's event will instead commemorate Israel's 75th anniversary which will be on May 14th and will symbolize a middle finger to terrorists and their supporters such as Tlaib.

"This event at the U.S. Capitol is canceled," McCarthy tweeted late Tuesday. "Instead, I will host a bipartisan discussion to honor the 75th anniversary of the U.S.-Israel relationship."

Tlaib and her ilk known as the squad, has called Israel an "apartheid state" at the beginning of this month adding that it was founded on the "ethnic cleansing" of Palestinians. However, she failed to put that claim into context by not attributing the Palestinians and Arabs nations of attempting to eliminate the Jews from the area which historically, as in Biblically, was occupied by them.

Tlaib's comments were quickly rejected on Twitter, where people were quick to apply the "community notes" fact-check feature of the platform, proving her lack of historical knowledge as a best case scenario, or her hatred for Jews as a worse case scenario.

McCarthy's move to run interference at Tlaib's event comes as Israel's Iron Dome defense system wards off waves of rockets launched out of Gaza Wednesday morning. The attack came in response to three Israeli airstrikes that killed a trio of senior members of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist group.

In any case, Tlaib and her squadettes, can sit on it and twirl, if you know what I mean.

Rashida Tlaib's anti-Semitic 'facts' do not comport with reality: gets instant fact check

Hamasshole fangirl, Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) called Israel an "apartheid state" in a tweet that got more blowback than Eric Swalwell's shorts.

"Speaker McCarthy wants to rewrite history but the apartheid state of Israel was born out of violence and the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians," Tlaib tweeted on Monday. "75 years later, the Nakba continues to this day."

Tlaib's tweet was in response to House Speaker Kevin McCarthy's post noting the "special relationship" between Israel and the U.S. The Jew hating congresswoman was instantly fact checked by Twitter with several errors pointed out.

The first fact check points out that Israel was created by United Nations General Assembly Resolution 181, linking to the document at the U.N.'s official website. The so-called "ethnic cleansing" that Tlaib claimed happened "affected both Jewish and Arab communities caught up in the war initiated by 5 Arab states who opposed the existence of Israel."

The Twitter fact check linked to the State Department's official history of the Arab-Israeli War of 1948 to emphasize that point.

The last fact check note showed that Israel has over 20% Arab citizens which have "full and equal rights," linking to a Democracy Institute study that found the country's Arab residents had declining rates of infant mortality and rising life expectancies. [In fact, Arabs are fully represented in the Knesset, unlike Palestine where Jews are not allowed to live and will be killed if they make a wrong turn on the road.]

Twitter's "Community Notes" system has been expanded by platform owner Elon Musk. He announced in April that there would be "no exceptions" to fact checks for those who post "materially false statements on this platform." He included heads of state and even himself under the system.

The fact check of Tlaib, a progressive member of the "squad" comes after conservatives have long shown that social media companies target and censor conservative views with arbitrary fact checks and bans, including a ban on former President Trump, something that is evidently changing at Twitter under the leadership of Musk. The concept of free speech seems to scare the heck out of the left.

Former U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman, argued that Tlaib was "a bit off" with her so called facts.

Hitler and the Grand Mufti

"You’re a bit off on this congresswoman," Friedman posted on Twitter. "Actually, the State of Israel was born notwithstanding the unsuccessful Palestinian attempts at ethnic cleansing to remove the Jews, through acts of terror and collaboration with Hitler (whose dear friend was Grand Mufti of Jerusalem)."

Tlaib's office has yet to respond to the blowback the blowhard produced.

House Speaker McCarthy to have committees probe whether federal funds were used in potential Trump indictment

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy said on Saturday that he's directing House committees to investigate into the potential indictment of former President Trump as to whether federal funds are being used for "potentially motivated prosecutions." By 'motivated prosecutions' what McCarthy really meant is political motives.

President Trump may be indicted by next week if the tea leaves are correct.

"Here we go again — an outrageous abuse of power by a radical DA who lets violent criminals walk as he pursues political vengeance against President Trump," McCarthy tweeted, referring to the Soros funded AG Alvin Bragg of the Manhattan DA's office.

The so called scandal involves alleged hush money Trump paid to porn actress Stormy Daniels when he was running for president in 2016.

The move has raised concerns from Republicans that the prosecution is politically motivated as anyone with a functioning cortex would agree. So McCarthy wants the House to investigate.

"I’m directing relevant committees to immediately investigate if federal funds are being used to subvert our democracy by interfering in elections with politically motivated prosecutions," McCarthy said.

The House is responsible for the federal budget and has every right to look into the situation.

McCarthy confirms House ethics panel to probe George Santos

House Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) has confirmed on Tuesday that the House Ethics Committee is planning to look into Rep. George Santos (R-NY), a serial liar.

“Ethics is moving through, and if Ethics finds something, we’ll take action,” McCarthy told the progressive media of CNN. “Right now, we’re not allowing him to be on committees from the standpoint of the questions that have arisen.”

Santos even seems to have lied about that when he said that he asked not to be on any House committees.

Santos, 34, has been facing at least two ethics complaints regarding his admitted lying about his background, education, religion and charitable work — while federal investigators reportedly are examining whether he violated campaign finance law, which appears that he did.

McCarthy said “we’ll take action” if the ethics probe uncovers any wrongdoing.

Despite the multiple controversies swirling around him — including a recent sexual harassment complaint by a prospective staffer — Santos has vowed to remain in office until the next election in 2024, because the job at McDonalds was no longer available.

McCarthy explains why he isn't going to do a Pelosi by ripping up Biden's SOTU address

Remember when House Leader Nancy "Hands-a-Blur" Pelosi made a public display of tearing up former President Donald Trump's 2020 State of the Union address when he finished speaking? Remember the look on her botox face?

Here's a tweet to bring you back to that wonderful moment of childish idiocy:
Nancy Pelosi tears up Donald Trump’s State of Union Speech… Petulant or justified? pic.twitter.com/OI3Q0LJAZ6

— The Salisbury Review (@SalisburyReview)
Trump Derangement Syndrome much?

Now that the GOP has the majority in the House of Representatives, the big question for today is whether Leader Kevin McCarthy will follow in Nan's drunken footsteps and tear up the SOTUS address, after the worst president in American history delivers it. And let's not kid ourselves, Biden will likely lace the address with lies and flavored with gaffes.

McCarthy was asked the question Monday as to what he might do with his copy of the paper after Biden mush-mouths the words.

His response was perfect, whether you like McCarthy or think he's just another RINO.

"A lot of people have been asking if I’m planning on ripping up President Biden’s speech tonight. Here’s my answer: I don’t believe in the theatrics of tearing up speeches. I respect the other side. I can disagree on policy, but I wanna make sure this country is stronger, economically sound, energy independent, secure, and accountable."

— Kevin McCarthy (@SpeakerMcCarthy) February 7, 2023
You have to agree that he's the adult in the House when compared to the left side of the aisle. The nation is divided enough, and enough is enough.

What Pelosi did back then was despicable, childish, theatrical and not very surprising given the TDS the Democrats still suffer from to this day.

BREAKING: House votes are in on Ilhan Omar regarding Foreign Affairs Committee status

It took a Republican-led House of Representatives to finally boot Democratic anti-Semite Rep. Ilhan Omar (MN) from the Foreign Affairs Committee, in spite of all the affairs she has had that ended up in marriages, including one to her own brother.

It was Omar's history of anti-Semitic comments that finally did her in, as well as her refusal to admit she was wrong to make them.

The vote to kick Omar off the powerful panel came after a heated floor debate that broke along party lines, with 218 Republicans voting to strip her of the assignment and 211 Democrats backing their Jew-hating colleague. One Republican, David Joyce of Ohio, voted present because he's an asshat with mothballs for testicles.

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) announced the vote Wednesday after the chamber approved the Democratic assignments for the committee, setting the stage for Omar’s ouster. [H/T New York Post]

“Oh, so now we can vote her off,” McCarthy told reporters after the assignments were finalized.

Republicans pointed out six disgusting statements Omar made as a congresswoman that “under the totality of the circumstances, disqualify her from serving on the Committee of Foreign Affairs,” said Rep. Michael Guest (R-MS).

“All members, both Republicans and Democrats alike who seek to serve on Foreign Affairs, should be held to the highest standard of conduct due to the international sensitivity and national security concerns under the jurisdiction of this committee,” Guest said.

It also helps to not hate people for their immutable characteristics or religious beliefs, but tell that to a jihadi like Ilhan Omar and nothing changes.

The resolution, proposed by Rep. Max Miller (R-OH) to ditch the b**ch reads: “Omar’s comments have brought dishonor to the House of Representatives.”

“Omar clearly cannot be an objective decision-maker on the Foreign Affairs Committee given her biases against Israel and the Jewish people,” it continued.

The committee’s chairman, Michael McCaul (R-TX) said he supported the resolution, telling reporters Omar’s “worldview of Israel is so diametrically opposed to the committee’s.” [And to human decency. You can hate the politics of any nation, but to wish for its annihilation is another thing altogether.]

“I don’t mind having differences of opinion, but this goes beyond that.”Rep. Ilhan Omar once compared Israel to terrorist organizations like Hamas and the Taliban. In fact, Omar also compared the United States to Hamas and the Taliban and made no apologies about it.

And while Omar and her ilk like to claim racist victimhood, they are quick to accuse White people, particularly White men, of being racists and/or white supremacists, while having no problem killing unborn babies of color.

Rep. Dean Phillips (D-MN), a cowardly Jewish Democrat from Omar's home state, has called out progressives for stoking anti-Semitism with attacks on Israel, while also saying he opposed the resolution because “we believe in the human capacity to make amends and that atonement should be rewarded, not punished.”

Being appropriate for any committee should be the reason someone is allowed to participate on it, and Omar has done nothing to atone or make amends to Israel and the Jews.

Nobody is taking away her freedom of speech, like the left and Antifa tries to do with conservative speakers, but taking away her being on a committee that she is clearly not suited for is a no brainer. Heck, that would be like allowing someone who slept with a Chinese spy or someone who used secret information for political purposes to be on an Intelligence Committee.

Ilhan Omar claims ignorance about her anti-Semitic tropes

Blatant anti-Semite who married her biological brother, Rep. Ilhan Omar(D-MN) is now claiming to be ignorant about well-known Jewish stereotypes she has spewed in the past, along with her blatant anti-Israel rhetoric.

She was interviewed Sunday alongside Democratic California Reps. Adam Schiff and Eric Swalwell on the Compromised News Network’s “State of the Union” with Dana Bash and Jake Tapper.

Omar was asked whether she learned anything from her anti-Semitic "all about the Benjamins" trope in 2019 regarding congressional lawmakers allegedly taking bribes from Israel. She had to think fast before answering a question atypical of CNN to ask of a fellow leftist.

“I certainly did not or was not aware that the word ‘hypnotized’ was a trope. I wasn’t aware of the fact that there are tropes about Jews and money. That has been [a] very enlightening part of this journey,” Omar said. “To insinuate that I knowingly said these things when people have read into my comments to make it sound as if I have something against the Jewish community is so wrong.”

Bullcrap. She's lying and she knows it, and knows her constituents know it.

Omar’s anti-Semitic comment about Israel was widely condemned for what it was. She half apologized after she was rebuked by Democratic leadership for “deeply offensive” language. “Antisemitism is real and I am grateful for Jewish allies and colleagues who are educating me on the painful history of anti-Semitic tropes,” Omar said in her apology, then the following week went all out anti-Semitic again.

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has pledged to remove Omar from the House Foreign Affairs Committee for her comments about Israel. Three House RINOs have come out against the measure, potentially preventing the majority vote needed to remove Omar from the committee.

These are not Republicans who should remain in office. They're confusing the First Amendment with qualifications for a particular committee assignment which requires proper treatment and consideration of our allies.

McCarthy removed Schiff and Swalwell from the House Intelligence Committee. “I cannot put partisan loyalty ahead of national security,” McCarthy said in a letter to House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries. Schiff announced a run for Senate shortly after he was removed from the committee because he has no other skills.

GOP Rep. okay with anti-Semite on House Foreign Affairs Committee

Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) thinks that it would be hypocritical for the GOP to remove one of the most outspoken anti-Semites in Congress, from the House Foreign Affairs Committee. Mace said that kicking Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) from the committee over anti-Semitic comments, is tantamount to "cancel culture," evidently, even if offends the Jews and people who find Omar repulsive for this hateful view.

"There's a First Amendment in this country. We don't have to agree with everything that members say," Mace said Friday in order to appeal to fellow anti-Semites, when Fox News asked if she supported Speaker Kevin McCarthy's vow to block Omar from the committee.

"I think we have to be very careful about what we are as a constitutional republic," she said.

"I am not a fan of Ilhan Omar. She's an anti-Semite. She's a bigot. She's a racist. She's a socialist. But that doesn't mean that we cancel people in this country. Republicans don't stand for cancel culture. And that's essentially what this is."

Except when a political party is in charge of one of the Houses, they can remove the dirt to clean the House, at least when it comes to a committee assignment that actually calls for members whose characters are in line with decent, American values. It isn't cancel culture to remove Omar from a committee--it would be cancel culture to remove her from Congress and Mace should know this.

Mace indicate that there were a "handful" of Republicans who are aligned in her thinking and that just sucks, doesn't it?

"I think it sets a very dangerous precedent. And you know, there's so much anti-Semitism in this country. We should be condemning it right and left as we always have, but there's also the First Amendment right to do that," she said.

But there is no constitutional right to be on a committee, especially when you are the wrong person for that committee.

Should Eric Swalwell (D-CA) and Adam Schiff (D-CA) be allowed to remain on the House Intelligence Committee knowing that Swalwell slept with a Chinese spy and Schiff allegedly used information from that committee to falsely attack former President Donald Trump?

So this isn't about censoring Omar, it's about keeping her off a committee that deals with sensitive issues that she has shown personal bias towards, such as Israel and the Middle East.

Mace said that a resolution to remove Omar was yet to be circulated, and she would wait to read it before making her final decision.

"So I'm going to read the resolution. We haven't seen it. I'm going to read it before I make that final decision next week. But we've been asking for it, and it hasn't been released to public yet," she said.

I do not know if Mace is an anti-Zionist/anti-Semite, but for her to equate Omar being kept off a committee, that is finally controlled by the GOP, to a constitutional right and to cancel culture, says more about Mace than it does about Omar.

The Republican Party is its own worst enemy.

Is Schiff a spy, a liar, or a jerk: 3 things can be true at once

Former Trump administration high-ranking official, Mike Pompeo, accused Rep. Adam Schiff [aka Schiffhead] (D-CA) of leaking classified information during his time on the House Intelligence Committee, where he and the other members are sworn to keep all classified information to themselves, which they don't.

The allegations come after Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) blocked the bug-eyed congressman's appointment to remain on the House Intelligence Committee, where he was its chairman the last four years and repeatedly made claims about information he alleged to have about former President Donald Trump and Russian collusion. Of course, all of this turned out to be a lie but Schiff remained as chairman and nothing was done to stop him from helping the Democrats steal the presidential election.

“During my time as CIA director and secretary of state, I know that he [Schiffhead] leaked classified information that had been provided to him,” Pompeo told Fox News on Wednesday.

Pompeo did not offer specifics, but he insisted the problem was bad enough to restrict what he shared with Congress.

He also appeared on Fox News' "Outnumbered" and was asked by co-host Emily Compagno why Schiff has not been held accountable if such leaks would be "a felony at minimum, up to treason."

“It’s a complicated process, right? It’s difficult to pin down precisely what happened,” Pompeo said. “But I could tell you that when we provided information to him and to his staff, it ended up in places it shouldn’t have been with alarming regularity. We could see it. In the end, I decided, I held back information from them as a result.”

That's what a trial for treason could sort out but it never came to that because people in power tend to get away with most anything, perhaps even murder (see Hillary Rodham Clinton for more on the subject).

Schiff denied leaking classified information, of course, because if he admitted to it, he'd be in big trouble. He unconvincingly told the Communist News Network in 2020, “I haven’t. My staff hasn’t,” but also added, “I can’t speak for what all the members of the committee have done or not done, including a lot of the Republican members.”

Others in the intelligence community have also pointed out that Schiff had leaked classified information to the public and therefore enemies of the United States. Former acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell said the Schiff and his cronies “regularly” leaked classified information.

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) suggested to conservative commentator Lisa Boothe in April 2021 that Schiff could be a source for dubious reports on Russia offering bounties to Afghan militants to kill U.S. troops. Schiff spokesman Patrick Boland shot back with a brief response to the Washington Examiner at the time, “Yet another false and baseless claim by Tom Cotton — you would think he would know better by now.”

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, Speaker McCarthy kicked the Schiff off the House Intelligence Committee, along with Rep. Eric [aka Gasman] Swalwell (D-CA), the latter who was discovered to be banging Fang Fang a Chinese spy. McCarthy called Schiff a serial liar, especially in regard to investigations related to Donald Trump, and Pompeo praised the Speaker for removing Schiff from the committee.

Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) nominated Schiff to the committee over the weekend, calling him “eminently qualified.” After he was blocked, Schiffhead responded by claiming McCarthy’s move was “petty, political payback for investigating Donald Trump,” and that he had inside information that would take down the entire GOP, Donald and Melania Trump, Russia, Tucker Carlson, Hannity, Ben Shapiro, and the Rockettes.

House GOP considering expunging Trump's impeachment from the record

A day didn't go by after Trump took his oath of office that the Democrats did not had the main goal of impeaching him. Never mind that the reasons turned out to be lies but the legacy media supported the lies and the Department of Justice and the FBI went after him.

But all hope for the Left came crashing down after the Robert Mueller 22-month investigation ended in 2019 with the failure to find something to impeach him with.

Plan B came to pass when the Left tried to imply that a phone call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was about Trump asking him to investigate the Biden family business dealings with Ukraine. So there was a sham inquiry and Trump was impeached by the House.

Plan C came one week after the January 6, 2021 Capitol incursion, the House voted to impeach Trump a second time over his alleged role in what Democrats insist to this day was an “insurrection.”

Sadly for the Jackass party, this impeachment trial ended the same way as Trump was acquitted by the Senate.

However, The Washington Times reports that the House Republicans are considering expunging Trump’s impeachments from the record. Heads on the Left will explode. Adam Schiff will schiff a brick.

When asked if he'd be willing to bring such legislation to the floor, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy said, “We’d look at it. … When you find that the final information of the Russia document is all a lie, and we watch what he went through, I would understand why members would want to bring that forward.”

According to The Times, 42 Republicans are on board with the idea, including House Republican Conference Chairwoman Elise Stefanik (NY). She got behind the resolution to exonerate Trump, but the Democrats, of course, refused to vote on it when the Democrats had full control of Congress. So even if Trump was exonerated due to the fact that these allegations were all lies, the Left hates him enough to allow the record to stand.

But now that Republicans control the House, it’s a real possibility.

Rep. Andrew Clyde of Georgia called both impeachments “inappropriate” and said he would “certainly be interested” in wiping them off the books. Rep. Pat Fallon of Texas told the Times he was “definitely interested.”

The lead sponsor of the resolution was then-Rep. Markwayne Mullin of Oklahoma, who won his Senate race in November. Mullin had previously spearheaded a resolution to expunge the first impeachment as well.

However, some Republicans are weasels and are less ready to support expunging the record. Rep. Dan Bishop (NC) said,  “I tend to think we’ve got plenty to focus on looking through the front windshield, rather than the back.”

Of course, if it was Bishop in the rearview mirror with impeachment on his resume, he would be singing a different tune.

While the expungement of Trump’s impeachments would be huuugely demoralizing for the Democrats, with only 20 percent of the Republican conference supporting the resolution, it isn't going to be enough to get it to fly. In order to clear the record, an almost unanimous backing by the GOP House would be needed but too many of them are RINOs.

Compromised News Network cuts off McCarthy presser to keep the Left in the dark re: Schiff and Swalwell

On Tuesday, the Compromised News Network (CNN) did not want their dozen or so viewers to see and hear what House Speaker Kevin McCarthy had to say about Reps. Adam "Bugeyes" Schiff (D-CA) and Eric "Gasman" Swalwell (D-CA).

The network known for the most in sexual misconduct, misreporting and CNN+ began to carry the press conference at 11:11 a.m. ET. By then, McCarthy was already answering questions from reporters.

At around 11:25, an unidentified female reporter and obvious Democrat challenged McCarthy's claim that House Democrats would be free to select which members of their party would serve on committees. As the correspondent put it, “[T]he other side will get to name their members. But that’s not true with the Intelligence Committee, is it? You said you’re going to let Democrats appoint their own members to the [Intelligence] Committee, but you’ve also indicated that you’re not going to let Congressman Swalwell…?”

Before she could continue her biased attack, McCarthy interrupted her, but the question was clearly referring to the Speaker previously saying he would prevent certain Democrats, such as Schiff and Swalwell from serving on committees and this was in direct conflict with his new statement that Democrats would “get to name their members,” hence the question.

He offered this explanation for the apparent inconsistency:

Let me phrase something very direct to you. If you got the briefing I got from the FBI, you wouldn’t have Swalwell on any committee. And you’re going to tell me other Democrats couldn’t fill that slot? He cannot get a security clearance in the private sector. So would you like to give him a government clearance?

… Not only was he getting a clearance, he was inside an Intel Committee. He had more information than the majority of all the members. Did you ever raise that issue? No, but you should’ve. You’re going to tell me there are 200 other Democrats that couldn’t fill that slot, but they kept him on it?

After a few more choice words about Swalwell, McCarthy switched targets: “Adam Schiff openly lied to the American public!”

Well, that got CNN to clutch the pearls Brian Stelter left behind and they pulled the plug on McCarthy before their dozen viewers had to hear any more facts about the scummy behavior of House Democrats.

Kate Bolduan of "At This Hour" quickly cut in: “All right, so we’re listening in to new House Speaker Kevin McCarthy... Let’s talk about some of what has been discussed already.”

Twitter followers of @TheGasMan felt a sigh [at least I think it was a sigh, well, it sort of sounded like a sigh] of relief.

House Passes "Born-Alive" Abortion Bill

The Republican majority House, in one of its first acts under Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R), passed a bill Wednesday aimed at ensuring steps are taken by health providers to prevent the killing of infants born alive after an attempted abortion failed to destroy the life.

Conservatives and other supporters of human life at all ages, hailed the legislation while Democrats and other pro-abortion groups who likely vote Democrat, socialist or Communist, cast the bill as an attack on women’s reproductive rights in spite of the fact that the reproduction process began at conception. However, they say the bill is unnecessary since it's already illegal to kill infants who pass through the birth canal and leave their mother's body. But of course, we know that they are stalling for time as their long-range plans have been unfolding over the years as witnessed in: "safe, rare and legal" to once the baby is born and the baby "can be made comfortable while the mother and the doctor discuss what they want to do with 'it.'"

Only one Democrat, Rep. Henry Cuellar (TX), joined all voting GOP lawmakers to support the legislation because he actually does believe in the sanctity of life.

The final tally was 220-210, with Rep. Vicente Gonzalez (D-TX) voting “present” because he fears the wrath of God, and three spineless Republicans not voting.

Despite the win for Republicans in the House, the legislation probably won’t get far in the godless Democrat-led Senate.

The bill, called the “Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act,” establishes that health care practitioners who do not reasonably act to “preserve the life and health of the child” after an attempted abortion as they would any newborn face fines or up to five years imprisonment. The bill also outlines civil remedies for the mother of an abortion survivor.

The Republican-named born-alive bill is designed to do what the title of the bill says, unlike the Democrat-named bill The Inflation Reduction Act, which is designed to do the direct opposite of what it says, because the left is built upside-down.

“This reasonable legislation would protect a baby born alive following an abortion,” said Carol Tobias, president of National Right to Life. “This bill isn’t about interfering with a so-called right to abortion. It is about stopping infanticide. Congress must act now to pass this legislation and protect these vulnerable babies.”

If the Democrats truly believe that killing a baby from an unsuccessful abortion is illegal already, then why are they opposing the bill?

Rep. Ann Wagner (R-MO),  introduced the bill. She celebrated its passing following a years-long effort and clamored that the legislation will “ensure that every single baby born in the United States receives life saving medical care at their most vulnerable moment.”

The lower chamber also adopted on Wednesday a measure “condemning the recent attacks on pro-life facilities, groups, and churches.”

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries speaks in opposition to GOP abortion legislation, but there is no proof that he has ever asked a woman he impregnated to get an abortion.

Abortion has killed more minority babies in America than have died in WW2, the Korean War, and Vietnam combined.

That's about 490,000 in wars, to about 63,000,000 in wombs. The majority of abortions were of minority mothers.
