Guy Benson calls out 'near silence' of media on Obama-Hezbollah report

So what's going on with the Obama administration and the blocking of law enforcement of Hezbollah just to get the Iran deal done? A growing number of Republicans are calling for answers to that question and for some reason, the leftist media doesn't think it's newsworthy.

The Obama administration allegedly blocked an entire law enforcement campaign targeting drug trafficking by Hezbollah, the Iranian-fronted terrorist group, because Obama would do anything to get the Iranian nuclear deal done, including sacrificing Americans over it . . . allegedly.

Rep. Ron DeSantis (R.-Fl.) tweeted at 4:38 PM Dec. 21, 2017:
"Allegations that the Obama Administration purposefully undermined law enforcement efforts against Hezbollah in order to save the disastrous Iran Deal need to be swiftly and fully scrutinized by Congress. @Jim_Jordan & I have officially launched an investigation."
Josh Meyer, the Politico reporter behind the piece, explained that federal investigators were gathering evidence whereby Hezbollah transformed from a political power to an organization that trafficked in drugs and other criminal activities and made hundreds of millions of dollars in the process.

The Obama administration officials threw a number of roadblocks in front of the investigation, halting efforts to stop Hezbollah's illegal activities and afford them the opportunity to kill folks, if that was to their liking.

Guy Benson said on "Outnumbered" Friday that this report makes one wonder if there were no lengths to which the Obama administration was unwilling to go to pursue the Iran deal.

And of course there were no lengths that were out of bounds.

"It was a lopsided, terrible deal. And apparently, the Obama administration was able to let Hezbollah, a terrorist organization, off the hook for a drug trafficking ring, which they use to cull money for terrorist activities," Benson said.

Bret Baier tweeted at 12:56 PM Dec. 22, 2017:
"This-as I mentioned in recent days- is a big deal."
Benson said it's "extraordinary" that the Obama administration turned a blind eye to that criminal activity just to sign a deal with the regime in Tehran that isn't even favorable to the United States.

President Trump was right: Obama is terrible at making deals.

Benson cited a New York Post op-ed by David Harsanyi calling out the "near silence" from the mainstream media on the "meticulously sourced" Politico story.

Harsanyi wrote:
By any conceivable journalistic standard, this scandal should've triggered widespread coverage and been plastered on front pages across the country. By any historic standard, the scandal should elicit outrage regarding the corrosion of governing norms from pundits and editorial boards.
Days after the news broke, in fact, neither NBC News, ABC News nor CBS News--whose shows can boast a collective 20 million viewers--had been able to find the time to relay the story to its sizeable audiences. Other than Fox News, cable news largely ignored the revelations as well.
It's a shame that half the country never gets to hear news that actually challenges their beliefs.

Journalism truly is dead.

A bad case of CFIUS

The Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) like the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has intimate ties to the terror group known as the Muslim Brotherhood (MB).

The Obama administration has not only had members of the MB to the White House, Aimen Nabi Mir, a two-time former president of ISNA's youth wing, was put into the top advisory position to the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS). This is a national security post at the Treasure Department.

Aimen Mir was the CFIUS Staff Chairman from 2009 to 2014. He played a major role in the CFIUS panel's decision to approve the sale of Uranium One to Russia's Rosatom, as well as a major role in the Treasury Department's refusal to investigate the UAE's Gulftainer 35-year cargo container terminal lease at Port Canaveral. That is a critical military infrastructure facility for space operations and our Navy.

It was Aimen Mir who helped set the table for Putin's seizing control of over 20 percent of the U.S. uranium and he was also partially responsible for the decision to award control of Port Canaveral's cargo container terminal to Saddam Hussein's nuclear weapons scientist and designated Iraq War militant, Dr. Jafar Dhia Jafar, whose parents like their last name so much, they gave it to him as a first name too.

Dr. Jafar's brother and business partner, Gulftainer co-owner Hamid Jafar, was being investigated by the Treasury Department and four congressional committees for an "Oil for Superweapons" plot along with Saddam Hussein (aka "So Damn Insane").

Aimen Mir is the son of Kashmir-born physician Dr. Ghulam Nabi Mir, (who is often confused with a bad Hobbit). Dr. Mir is also the president of the World Kashmir Awareness Forum (WKAF--it's also a radio station in Boston, Mass.), an aggressive Islamic platform he uses to aggressively advocate for Kashmir's secession from India in order to join Pakistan, maybe kill some Hindus, and say bad stuff about the Jews.

WKAF's Secretary General, "Dr." Syed Ghulam Nabi Fai, is a convicted felon from Kashmir, and served as a Pakistani Inter-Services Intelligence Directorate (ISI) operative inside the U.S.  He was arrested by the FBI in 2011 for covertly operating as an unregistered foreign agent while receiving $3,500,000 in wire transfers from the ISI.

Like his father's ISI partner Fai, Aimen Mir looks as if he's running his own operations at CFIUS. While Mir was the CFIUS Staff Chairman from 2009 to 2014, he approved Russia's 2010 purchase of Uranium One which effectively gave Putin control of over 20 percent of our uranium.

Uranium One and Gulftainer have very close ties to Russian intelligence, nuclear weapons, and uranium enrichment. And Gulftainer has ties to the Iranian regime and the principals in Obama's Iran Nuclear Deal.

Gulftainer executive board chairman Badr Jafar visited the White House in 2014, just six weeks prior to the secretly-negotiated Gulftainer deal was announced, signed and closed.

If you're okay with Aimen Mir at CFIUS, you're not paying attention.

Trump's 'tweet-off' with Sen. Corker

In a Tweet-off on Sunday, President Trump went after the escalating vocal critic of his administration, Sen. Bob Corker (R-TN).

Trump said Corker gutlessly dropped his re-election bid after begging him for an endorsement in which he said 'no.'

"Corker 'begged' me to endorse him," Trump said in a salvo of tweets. "I said 'NO' and he dropped out (said he could not win without my endorsement). He also wanted to be secretary of state, I said 'NO THANKS.' . . . Hence, I would fully expect Corker to be a negative voice and stand in the way of our great agenda. Didn't have the guts to run!"

Corker returned fire a few minutes later and tweeted: "It's a shame the White House has become an adult day care center. Someone obviously missed their shift this morning."

This attack by the president comes after Corker saying last week, that Secretary of State Rex Tillerson will resign. He also said that Tillerson, Secretary of Defense James Mattis, and White House Chief of Staff John Kelly "are those people that help separate our country from chaos."

It wasn't always this way. Early in Trump's term the couple played golf together along with retired NFL quarterback Peyton Manning, another Tennessee native.

Nobody saw it coming between Don and Bob (which also happens to be the name of a great hotdog joint in Rochester, NY).

But the relationship went south, at least publicly, in August, when Bob criticized Trump for how he handled the violent Charlottesville, Virginia protests, in which an alleged white supremacist plowed his car into the crowd and fatally struck a young woman.

Corker said the president has not demonstrated "the stability nor some of the competence" needed to be successful.

"You just put your lips together and blow"
On Sunday, Trump argued that Corker supported the Iran nuclear deal brokered by the Obama administration that Trump claims Iran is violating. Trump tweeted: "He is also largely responsible for the horrendous Iran Deal!" ending his sentence with his signature exclamation point.

In an August 2016 opinion piece in The Washington Times, Jed Babbin says that Corker "has a problem" when it comes to the Iran deal and that he basically caved in to the Obama administration when he served as chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

So Trump is correct when he tweeted about Corker's involvement with the Iran deal. Whether or not Corker asked for his endorsement is a moot point--he probably did but we cannot know for certain.

What we know is that Corker has a belly-full of sour grapes and Trump is the cause. Like Hillary Clinton, Corker needs to bow out gracefully, but grace is beginning to seem like a very rare commodity in Washington D.C.

Loretta Lynch 'Pleads Fifth' on Cash Payments Made to Iran

A congressional probe into the payments made to Iran is being blocked by the Obama administration.

Attorney General Loretta Lynch is not complying  with an investigation by Congress about the Obama administration's secret efforts to dole out $1.7 billion in cash to Iran earlier in the year. There are now accusations claiming that Lynch has "pleaded the Fifth" Amendment to avoid self-incrimination over the payments, according to lawmakers and exclusive communications obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.

Lynch was presented with a series of questions by Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Mark Pompeo (R-KS) about how the cash payment was approved and delivered.

But in an October 24th response, Asst. Attorney General Peter Kadzik reponded on Lynch's behalf. He refused to answer the questions and told the lawmakers that they are barred from publicly disclosing any details about the cash payment, which we all know was part of a ransom deal to free several American hostages from Iran.

In effect, the response from the attorney general's office is "unacceptable" and is evidence that Lynch has chosen to "essentially plead the fifth and refuse to respond to inquiries regarding [her] role in providing cash to the world's foremost state sponsor of terrorism," Rubio and Pompeo wrote in a follow-up to Lynch.

"It is frankly unacceptable that your department refuses to answer straightforward questions from the people's elected representatives in Congress about an important national security issue," the lawmakers wrote. "Your staff failed to address any of our questions, and instead provided a copy of public testimony and a lecture about the sensitivity of information associated with this issue."

"As the United States' chief law enforcement officer, it is outrageous that you would essentially plead the fifth and refuse to respond to inquiries. The actions of your department come at a time when Iran continues to hold Americans hostage and unjustly sentence them to prison."

Pompeo told the Free Beacon that the Obama administration has blocked Congress at every turn in their investigation of the payments made to Iran.

"Who knew that simple questions regarding Attorney General Lynch's approval of billions of dollars in payments to Iran could be so controversial that she would refuse to answer them?" Pompeo said. "This has become the Obama administration's coping mechanism for anything related to the Islamic Republic of Iran--hide information, obfuscate details, and deny answers to Congress and the American people."

Although details of the deal are not classified, they are kept under lock and key, thus treated as if they are. Staffers who have clearance to see the documents must relinquish their cell phones and are barred from taking notes about what they see.

And all this from "the most transparent president in history." Some might call it treason.

Now imagine how much worse it would be if the former Worst Lady wins the election.

Ben Rhodes and Jonathan Gruber: counting on stupidity

Both Ben Rhodes and Jonathan Gruber seem to believe that the American people are stupid and deserve to be fooled, as long as it's for what they consider to be the greater good.

Gruber talked about how Obamacare depended upon the stupidity of the American voter in order to become a law, and because it was for Obamacare, it was for the greater good, in his mind. The administration knows best what's good for us.

Rhodes, on the other hand, bragged to the New York Tomes Magazine about the Obama administration's success in selling the Iran deal to the American people. He explained that they built an "echo chamber" to sell the plan and made fun of the young reporters who got their information from him.

The House Oversight Committee hearing was to called to look into White House "narratives" regarding the Iran deal after Rhodes shot off his mouth.

Several senators tried to get Mr. Obama to fire Rhodes and a House committee looking into his braggadocio went forward with their hearing in spite of him not showing up to testify. Chairman Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) called on him but Obama shielded his appearance in order to conceal their embarrassment over getting caught with their pants down, much like Bill Clinton did on many occasions, but under different circumstances.

The White House used the old ploy, "executive privilege."

Michael Rubin of the American Enterprise Institute, (they'll pick you up) a guy who is not known to smile or ever crack a joke, accused Rhodes of creating a "propaganda operation."

Ben Rhodes is a journalist like Kim Kardashian is an actress.

Of course, the Democrats could always count upon the committee's top liberal Rep. Elijah-Black-Lives-Matter-Cummings (D-Md.) to to after Republicans with the only arsenal in his quiver--the ad hominem attack--as he criticized the analysts they called while not inviting military generals who support the agreement.

The truth is, Obama fired all of the military generals who didn't agree with him and left a bunch of "Yes Men" in uniform to validate his views.

Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) said that at least Cummings could question the witnesses who showed up, but Rhodes, he said, "didn't bother to show up."

Several GOP-ers wrote to Barack asking him to dump Rhodes, "before he further tarnishes the Office of the President," but we all know that it's too late for that.

The truth is, it's probably foolish at this point for the GOP to make a big fuss over this--the administration looks like lying idiots all by themselves. Just let Trump talk about this with Hillary when they throw down on the debate stage.

Gruber and Rhodes think they've pulled a fast one on the American people, but in fact, the only people who buy their bull are progressive liberals and they're not so American when you get right down to it. If they had their way, they would get rid of the Constitution and replace it with "Rules for Radicals."

Too little, too late, Kerry

Now our so-called Secretary of State is "infuriated" with Iran for their video footage of our American sailors on their knees with their hands raised in surrender after they captured two Navy vessels in the Persian Gulf.
"Where does it itch?"

Kerry claims he didn't know about the video when he spoke last week. Nobody told him.

He forgot to plug in the TV because the rest of the world knew about it.

He didn't see it in the funny papers.

How freaking sheltered is this administration pretending to be? How stupid does Kerry and Obama think the American people are--at least those of us on the right.

"I was furious about it, and I immediately contacted my counterpart. And we indicated our disgust," Kerry told Fox News Monday.

To cover his generous butt, he said that "it was clear" the video didn't come from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and probably came from the Iranian military.

Well gee, that's why we have military intelligence, you boob.

"It was very, very unfortunate, inappropriate. And as a former sailor, and member of the military, I was infuriated by it and I expressed that very directly to my counterpart."

Iran, be warned. You pissed off John Kerry and Barack Hussein Obama. Now they're mad. And when they're mad, they get angry and say angry things. And if you're not careful, they may warn you about what they're not going to really do.

If you had a pair, Mr. Obama, you would snap back sanctions like you keep pretending you might. That would show how "infuriated" you traitors really are.

Sen. John McCain (RINO-Ariz.) accused the Obama administration of "pretending as if nothing out of the ordinary has occurred."

Thank you, Senator McCain, and thank you for supporting all of Obama's Iran deal with the other 7 RINOs.

Is it any wonder why Trump and Cruz are leading the pack?

Kim and Obama Two Sides of the Same Coin

George W. Bush may have not been the best president we've ever had, but he certainly wasn't the worst. At least "W" had a genuine respect and love for our military and in his tenure only fired 2 Generals in his two terms.

Barack Hussein Obama is a slightly different story.

It's almost as if Obama is trying to fire the top brass in the military to make room for the U.S. Green Energy Society and Dance Team. In a frightening 2013 posting on the  Investment Watch Blog, one can see how our so-called president is working feverishly to rid us of our testosterone-laden military leadership.

In 2013 alone, there have been 22 U.S. Naval officers fired. This has been going on since Obama's rule began, just when the word 'patriot' would get a liberal's child a mouth-washing with organic soap.

Some of those military leaders Obama felt were unable to perform their duties, up to his satisfaction, have over 25 years of service with awards and honors that Obama wishes he had to go along with his "Nobel Prize for Being Elected While Black."

On the other side of the "Divide and Conquer Coin" is North Korea's cherubic Morohna, Kim Jong Un, who also gets rid of his military leaders if they don't agree with him, have bigger testicles, or fall asleep when he drones on about his sexual conquests with a factory worker-slave.

Falling asleep can get a General killed in the most miltary way--being blown up by field artillery.

Kim recently dismissed several top dudes after the recent posturing between him and South Korea, the media reported on Friday. The personnel changes seem to suggest that Kim was holding these officials responsible for the confrontation that "developed in a way he did not expect," reported the AP.

The North and South Koreas threatened military strikes before they finally agreed to measures to reduce the anger, which again began when Seoul resumed loudspeaker propaganda broadcasts after two of their military were allegedly maimed by S. Korean land mines.

The broadcasts were, for the first time in 11 years, critical of Kim's authoritarian rule and totally pissed off Pyongyang who threatened to destroy the loudspeakers with sophisticated high-powered death machines.

N. Korea denies having planted the land mines and ISIS wasn't around to take the credit, thus the South pointed fingers at the only enemy within range.

So while Pyongyang gave no reasons for the military dismissals, some believe the reaction by the South rattled Kim's delicate cage causing him to have a severe and thunderous volley of air bagels (see Urban Dictionary).

Kim is as fearful of personal criticism as he is of gerbils in his toilet, believing that any negative criticism of the fearless leader would weaken his leadership and give his nation of prisoners second thoughts.

But Obama is no Kim Jong Un, you gotta give him that.
How Obama sees the military

Obama isn't upset with the military for screwing up, as Kim seems to be. No, Obama is upset because our military doesn't screw up and is a strong force that gets the job done (when they're allowed to do so).

Obama is upset with military leaders when they tell him he's wrong about his pusswat tactical decisions (see Urban Dictionary). Instead of discussing alternatives, or making his case, Obama fires the opposition.

This is why the liberals are making our nation and the world less safe. The Iran deal is the best example of this.
