Michael Cohen says he was "pressured" and "coerced" by Alvin Bragg and Letitia James to testify against Trump

Here we go again with another chapter in the never-ending Trump legal soap opera, but this time the script flip is coming from the guy who used to be the star witness against him.

Michael Cohen, the former fixer who spent years singing like a canary with a grudge, is now admitting he was "pressured" and "coerced" by Alvin Bragg and Letitia James to deliver the anti-Trump testimony they so desperately wanted.

In his latest Substack missive (because, of course, it's on Substack), Cohen drops this gem:"I felt pressured and coerced to only provide information and testimony . . .  against President Trump."

And just in case that wasn't clear enough, he doubles down: "I felt pressured and coerced to only provide information and testimony that would satisfy the government's desire to build the cases against and secure a judgment and convictions against President Trump."

He says the pressure started right from the opening bell in his first meetings with the prosecutors working for Bragg and James.

Regarding James specifically, Cohen writes: "Letitia James made it publicly known during her 2018 campaign for attorney general that, if elected, she would go after President Trump. Her office made clear that the testimony they wanted from me was testimony that would help them do just that. Again, I felt compelled and coerced to deliver what they were seeking."

Trump, never one to miss a chance to say "I told you so," called the whole thing proof of a "very corrupt investigation" in a Friday night chat with conservative media site The Daily Wire. He's been calling Cohen a liar since the beginning, and now the liar is basically agreeing that the fix was in to get him to talk. Cohen walks through the two big cases: the civil fraud suit from James' office about Trump supposedly puffing up asset values for loans, and the Manhattan DA's criminal hush-money extravaganza involving Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal.

Juries bought it both times, of course.

Cohen unconsciously covers his groin area

But now Cohen is out here saying: "Letitia James and Alvin Bragg may not share the same office or political calendar, but they share the same playbook. Both used their platforms to elevate their profiles, to claim the mantle of the officials who 'took down Trump.' In doing so, they blurred the line between justice and politics; and in that blur, the credibility of both suffered."

And the reason he's finally speaking up? A federal appeals court just breathed new life into Trump's push to toss the hush-money conviction, and Cohen figures staying quiet would make him complicit.

If you enjoy  Brain Flushings and would like to subscribe or Buy Me a Coffee, and check out the sponsors on this page, I would appreciate it, as it supports my work and my coffee drinking habit. No pressure and subscribing is free.

"I am not writing this to defend Donald Trump, nor to re-litigate his conduct," he insists. "That ground has been plowed endlessly, often loudly, and rarely thoughtfully. I am writing because I have seen this system from the inside. . . . When politics and prosecution become indistinguishable, public trust erodes; not just in individual cases, like mine and/or Trump's, but in the system itself. That erosion serves no one, regardless of party, personality, or power."

Translation: The guy who helped build the cases is now telling us the scaffolding was rigged from the start.

Color me shocked. Just kidding. This is New York justice we're talking about, after all.

Democrat Delegate Who Took Marching Orders From Jeffrey Epstein Plays the Ultimate Victim Card: ‘I Was Basically Raped’ By My Own Staffers

Folks, you can’t make this garbage up. The same Stacey Plaskett (D-VI), the non-voting delegate from the Virgin Islands who was caught texting with the late, not so great pedophile Jeffrey Epstein in the middle of a 2019 congressional hearing, once stood before a federal judge and declared that her disgruntled ex-staffers "basically raped" her family by leaking stolen nude photos during her re-election campaign.

Yes, really.

Plaskett, a sitting member of the ultra-secretive House Intelligence Committee, insisted she was only chatting with Epstein because the convicted sex trafficker "had information, and I was going to get information to get at the truth" about Michael Cohen

Sure, Stacey. Nothing says "getting to the truth" like taking real-time tips from a guy who trafficked underage girls to his private island in your congressional district.

This same congresswoman who narrowly beat a censure vote 209-214 after her Epstein texts went public once tearfully told a court that her privacy had been "pillaged" and that she and her family were "basically raped by Juan McCullum and Dorene Browne-Louis… Why, because I was mean? I demanded a lot, I demand most of myself."

She then went full race card mode: "The women who saw it for what it was. Bringing a black woman down. McCullum you're like some creep who rips a woman’s clothes off in public, like the slave seller ripping a black woman's clothes off."

And yes, it got darker: "Then you went further. They tried to first emasculate my husband. Say he was not a man, because there was a picture of him with makeup. Makeup it was obvious he was not happy to be wearing. That he lost in a bet. The worst was that they tried to put in the public that my husband and I allowed our daughter who was around 4-5 at the time of the picture in some perverted unnatural situation. For that reason, I want to physically destroy the two of them."

Her husband, Jonathan Buckney-Small, wasn't exactly turning the other cheek either. He told the court that when he ran into McCullum after the leak: "NEVER had I felt the pulse the beat the flow my blood asking me to take matters in my own hands that night when you couldn't look me in the eye."

McCullum, who had moved on to work for Rep. Frederica Wilson (D-FL), and Browne-Louis, who landed a cushy DHS gig, eventually pleaded guilty to distributing the revenge porn they dug up after Plaskett asked McCullum to fix her iPhone. They sent the photos to media, politicians, and even handed one to a reporter via Plaskett’s primary opponent.

McCullum got a whopping one year and one day in prison (early release, naturally). Browne-Louis walked with probation after her husband was mysteriously shot dead outside his firehouse job a month after the photos dropped.

But sure, Democrats, tell me again how Stacey Plaskett is the real victim here, the poor, besieged black woman brought low by racist staffers and a cruel world, while she's over there texting one of the most notorious child sex predators in modern history for "information."

The party of "believe all women" apparently has a very selective memory when the woman in question is taking tips from Epstein and screaming about wanting to "physically destroy" people in open court.

Unbelievable.

If you like Brain Flushings and want to Buy Me a Coffee, I would appreciate it, as it supports my work. Obviously, there is no pressure but I certainly wouldn't stop you.

Michael Cohen begs Biden for pardon: "I'm somebody's son too"

Former Trump shyster lawyer Michael Cohen is asking President Biden to pardon him, just like he pardoned his son Hunter, before Trump takes office.

Cohen talked about his attempts to get a pardon from the Biden administration on MSNBC's "The Weekend" on Saturday morning. He said that not receiving a pardon would leave him "in danger" of being prosecuted by Trump and becoming someone's 'prison b***h."

Cohen argued that Biden should protect him and other Trump critics, similar to how he lied and protected his crackhead son Hunter.

"Yeah, I put in the application for a presidential pardon because I believe that Joe Biden has the same responsibility to me that he had to his own son," Cohen whined. "And I would expect that the same exact pardon that he gave his son has to go to me and to anybody else that’s on that enemies list, whether they want it or not, because I assure you, solitary confinement, where I did 51 days, sucks."

MSNBC host Symone Sanders and former national press secretary for comrade Bernie Sanders in his 2016 presidential campaign that was handed to Hillary Clinton by the DNC,  agreed with Cohen about the risks of being on Trump’s "enemies list," but she didn't think comparing his situation to Hunter Biden's was kosher. [Symone is not related to Bernie.]

"I mean, Hunter Biden is the president’s last surviving son," Sanders said.

"I’m somebody’s son also, by the way," Cohen responded.

"Agreed. You are somebody’s son," Sanders said. "But I mean, to be very clear, you’re not the president’s son. And he pardoned Hunter primarily because that is his son, I think."

Cohen stressed how seriously Trump should be taken as a threat, especially after Cohen stabbed him in the back [figuratively] tried to screw him.

"You have to take Donald Trump for his word when he turns around," Cohen fretted. "So far, everything that he said that he intends to do, he actually intends to do. And he has been doing it one by one by one. Now, it may not all happen on day one, as he said, but ultimately he’ll have four years plus with a whole group of individuals that are now going to be filling government positions in order to help him effectuate his goals."

Cohen was sentenced to three years in prison for crimes like tax evasion, campaign finance violations, and lying to Congress while working for Trump. Since then, he's been outspoken against Trump and testified in Alvin Bragg's New York criminal case against him earlier this year as a convicted felon.

Cohen also mentioned in September that he was planning to leave the country if Trump won again.

"I'm already working on a foreign passport with a completely different name. I don't know how it's going to work as far as dealing with my wife and my children. I certainly don't want them moving to where I'm looking to go," Cohen said, possibly hoping they do not follow him and thus meet other women.

Biden faced criticism from both political sides for pardoning Hunter in December, even though he had said he wouldn't. As his term was ending, Biden also mentioned he was [LOL, it's actually his handlers, not Joe, who is one step below broccoli] considering pardons for some of Trump's political adversaries, like former RINO Liz Cheney and alleged Dr. Anthony Fauci.

Michael Cohen says Trump will use SEAL Team Six to practically take over the world

Michael  Cohen, former President Donald Trump's former lawyer and former prison inmate, has made a bold and frightening prediction. If this doesn't scare the bejeezus out of you, then sir or madame, you are one tough customer.

Michael Cohen, the man who had the wisdom to turn on his former boss [not Bubba from the exercise yard in the slammer, but Trump] after getting caught arranging payments to silence women who claimed to have had affairs with Trump during the 2016 presidential election campaign, and have pleaded guilty to five counts of tax evasion failing to report over $4 million in income; and making false statements to a bank, and lying to Congress, and thus serving "three in the can," says that if Trump should win the upcoming presidential election, he will call in SEAL Team Six to round up his political opponents.

And then, who knows what he will have them do to those who have turned on him. Firing squad at dawn? Quiet disappearance? Something in the coffee that tastes like almonds but it isn't almonds at all?

Cohen isn't alone in this doomsday prognosticating. New Jersey congressman Bill Pascrell, Jr. believes--or at least he says he believes--that if Donald J. Trump is reelected, it will be the end of democracy, nay, civilization, as we know it. He will seize full power, there will be tanks on the streets, and chaos will ensue under a military dictatorship.

Rep. Bill Pascrell, Jr.

Cohen's prediction comes a week after he said he would change his name [perhaps to Matty Cohen?] and flee the country if Trump is elected in November.

One person responded to Cohen's promise to flee the country with this tweet:
Sorry, but I don't recall the last time Michael Cohen said something that was true. At this point, I doubt that's his real name.— Jellenne πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸŒ΅πŸŒž (@jellen805) October 7, 2024
Trump was already President and had the power to attempt a takeover. He didn't, and even if a U.S. president attempted a takeover, it would never happen. Does anyone really believe the entire U.S. military and law enforcement would stand behind one person attempting a coup?

The only thing we experienced during Trump's first term was a better economy, no new wars, the decrease in illegal migration, more jobs, and greater law and order. Trump's biggest nemesis was the pandemic and he could have called for crazy measures like those called for by his replacement and the Democratic Party in general. But he didn't.

If Trump wins in November, things will get better because he already showed us that it can. It's total bull crap to say that he would put tanks in the streets or dispatch SEAL Team Six.

Sure the Left is scared if he wins because they know they tried to get rid of him, one way or another. And this kind of rhetoric only encourages lunatics on the Left to take action to stop Trump 'by any means necessary.'

Mickey "The Chin" is out of the slammer for early release

President Trump's ex-lawyer, Mickey "The Chin" Cohen was doing 3 years in the can for a couple of screw-ups but will now be allowed to leave federal lockup after less than a year. Cohen lied to Congress and committed campaign finance violations, but he whined to the court out of fear he'd contract the Chinese Communist Wuhan Wet Market Lab Created Coronavirus from Buster in Block D.

According to fake news, [aka The New York Times] The Chin will be held in the slammer for a 14-day quarantine at a medium-security prison, which he says he can do "standin' on my freakin' head." Then he will be allowed to serve out the remainder of his sentence with his wife at home confinement.

The disgraced former lawyer has been serving time at a minimum security prison, and he is part of a batch of prisoners who have been allowed to serve their sentences — either in part or in whole — under house arrest, reports the Creative News Network (CNN).

As The Daily Wire had reported, Cohen attempted to have his sentence reduced prior to the prison’s policy change, but was instead slammed by the judge for trying to “inject himself into the news cycle.”

The judge wrote: “Apparently searching for a new argument to justify a modification of his sentence to home confinement, Cohen now raises the specter of COVID-19. That Cohen would seek to single himself out for release to home confinement appears to be just another effort to inject himself into the news cycle.”

Well, it turns out that Cohen is going to get what he asked for and get to spend some quality time with his wife.

Trump's ex-lawyer, Mickey "The Chin" Cohen in 'the hole'

Mickey "The Chin" Cohen, 53, is doing 3 big ones in Otisville, Federal Correctional Institution [aka the joint] for screwing with campaign finance laws, according to his lawyer and two anonymous sources whose lives are at risk if they drop a dime on the case. [H/T Reuters and the jasmine of my mind] He was sentenced in 2018 for directing hush money to pornography performer Stormy Daniels and Playboy model Karen McDougal, both who claimed Trump shtupped them. Trump denies the alleged shtuppings.

The Chin, as he is known to the screws and his crew, was transferred on Wednesday to a Special Housing Unit, possibly due to a complaint lodged by another inmate who accused him of hogging the Jacuzzi and steam room, but this is only scuttlebutt and may have something more to do with chronic fibbing.

Until this time, Cohen had been housed in a minimum-security camp at Otisville, which is about 70 miles (110 km for Canadians) northwest of New York City where The Chin committed the heinous crime with which he was charged and sentenced.

A former representative for Cohen, Lanny Davis, declined to comment but may make a statement on the Comedy News Network if he can make a few bucks out of the deal.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons said it could not comment on the circumstances of individual inmates but might do so for a carton of smokes.

In March, The Chin begged for his release from the slammer because he was scared that he might get the Chinese Communist Wuhan Wet Market or Lab Coronavirus, or COVID-19, as it is known to China apologists. His request was denied in strong terms by U.S. District Judge William Pauley who wrote on March 23:
“Ten months into his prison term, it’s time that Cohen accept the consequences of his criminal convictions for serious crimes that had far reaching institutional harms."
Another Trump-hating lawyer named Michael whose surname is Avenatti, also wanted to be set free for his low-life crimes out of fear of getting the coronavirus and his request was also denied.

The Chin is eligible for release in November 2021.

Michaels Cohen and Avenatti want freedom from Wuhan Virus

United States District Judge William H. Pauley III refused a request filed by Michael Cohen, for early release from his 3-year prison sentence due to his fear over the spread of the Wuhan Coronavirus within the prison system.

Cohen, you may recall, served as President Trump's personal lawyer, but has since been disbarred and can no longer practice law, although he will probably do so in the slammer. He was charged with campaign finance violations and lying to Congress.

Cohen asked the judge for a possible home confinement option on his release but this was not accepted by Pauley, who went on to blast Cohen for the request and suggested that Cohen was simply trying to use the pandemic to attempt to "inject himself into the news cycle."

But then, of course, he did.

“Apparently searching for a new argument to justify a modification of his sentence to home confinement, Cohen now raises the specter of COVID-19,” Pauley wrote in his response Tuesday as reported by Fox News.  “That Cohen would seek to single himself out for release to home confinement appears to be just another effort to inject himself into the news cycle.”

Judge Pauley also pointed out Cohen’s previous attempt to gain an early release — a cooperation effort during which prosecutors came to believe that Cohen was lying, according to The Associated Press.

“Unable to articulate how he advanced any investigation or prosecution, Cohen and his surrogates make extravagant allegations that the Department of Justice — from the Attorney General down to line prosecutors — acted in bad faith,” wrote Pauley. “Those ad hominem attacks lack any substance and do not trigger the right to remedy or a hearing before this Court.”

As such, Judge Pauley wrote that it was time for Cohen to “accept the consequences of his criminal convictions for serious crimes that had far reaching institutional harms,” and that he disbarred lawyer should stop trying to score early release, reported CNN, in spite of my belief that Trump will win a second term and Cohen will be released before Trump's term ends, and therefore CNN will hire him as another Trump attack dog.

Now we have the other Michael--the Avenatti one.

U.S. District Court Judge James Selna, in Los Angeles, has rejected a plea from convicted lawyer and CNN hopeful for the U.S. presidency, Michael Avenatti, to be released from jail because of the risk he, like the other legal loser aforementioned, could contract the Wuhan Coronavirus.

Avenatti’s claim that a bout he had with pneumonia last September puts him in grave danger if COVID-19 begins to rampage through federal prisons like the Manhattan detention center where he’s currently locked up.

The shyster lawyer was convicted by a New York federal court jury last month on charges of trying to extort the giant corporation Nike and is facing other federal charges in Manhattan and Los Angeles, also contended that his cellmate, who Avenatti was very very fond of, was recently removed after exhibiting fever and a severe cough.

But Selna, who revoked Avenatti’s bail in January based on evidence of extensive financial manipulation, said the health concerns were not adequate to justify his release, and he was just being a scared Nancy boy.

“The Court is mindful of the Covid 19 pandemic,” Selna wrote in a three-page order Saturday. “The Court accepts Avenatti’s showing that the had pneumonia about six months ago. ... However, there is no showing that his cellmate was infected by the virus, and there have been no reported cases of Covid 19 at the New York MCC.”

“There is no basis to release Avenatti on medical grounds,” added Selna, a President George W. Bush appointee. “The Bureau of Prisons and MCC specifically have taken substantial steps to mitigate the effects of the pandemic. MCC has moved ‘at-risk’ prisoners, which presumably includes Avenatti, to a separate unit.”

So Avenatti should stop being a wimp, he implied.

Federal prosecutors opposed Avenatti’s recent request for release, arguing that his risk of infection is “minimal and entirely manageable.”

“Defendant … has not cited any information or evidence demonstrating that defendant, who is an otherwise healthy 49-year man, is at greater risk from COVID-19 merely because he may have had pneumonia six months ago,” government lawyers wrote. “Thus, there is no reason to conclude that defendant’s personal circumstances are meaningfully distinguishable from the vast majority of individuals detained in BOP facilities or would justify the extraordinary relief he now seeks.”

So he, like his soulmate Michael Cohen, do not get special treatment just because CNN's Brian Stelter fell hard for him, and the network thought he would make a great U.S. president. All that shows is their judgment deficits.

The prosecution also said Avenatti’s history indicated that the CNN hopeful was not only likely to defy court orders, but also the statewide lockdown ordered by Gov. Gavin Newsom [aka: "The Human Ken Doll"].

“A person who ignores such admonitions and rules could increase infection rates, leading to severe illness and death. Defendant has shown an unwillingness or inability to follow rules, and a disregard for the welfare of others. Thus, defendant’s failure to follow rules poses particular dangers to the community,” prosecutors wrote.

The only rule Avenatti is likely to follow is the unspoken rule: don't drop the soap in the shower.

Meanwhile, Michael Cohen has reportedly stopped weeping over his incarceration and has become "one of the guys"

Documents submitted by the government said officials at the Manhattan detention center where Avenatti is located have taken numerous steps to limit the risk of a COVID-19 outbreak, including screening prisoners and staff for fevers, distributing more soap and segregating most prisoners over 55.

However, H. Dean Steward, a lawyer [whose mother wanted to name him something starting with "H" but couldn't come up with anything] for Avenatti, said the conditions at the lower-Manhattan jail known as the MCC are deplorable, like all Trump voters, and are inviting a major COVID outbreak.

"Mr. Avenatti’ s cell contained three rats,"[Moe, Larry and Curly] Steward claimed. "Inmates on one unit were forced to share one toilet among 26 people, and prevented from washing their clothing: prime conditions for the spread, rather than containment, of infectious disease."

Pity the plumber--nobody ever mentions him.

Avenatti’s trial in the New York case involving stealing from Daniels is set to open April 21, but the judge handling that matter said last week it seemed “highly doubtful” it would go forward then due to virus-related suspensions of most proceedings in federal courts nationwide.

Avenatti’s trial on fraud, perjury, tax dodging, and embezzlement charges in the Los Angeles case is scheduled for May 19, but Selna said that will likely be postponed as well.

Avenatti's sentencing on the Nike extortion charges is set for June 17.

He's in big trouble.

Omarosa now Michael Cohen's "personal adviser"

Michael Cohen is serving three bucks in the slammer for campaign finance violations, fraud and he has lied like an Iranian rug. His prison nickname is "Pantsonfire." Cohen has sunk so low he could play handball off a street curb and has now made the former "Apprentice" semi star and Trump administration something or other, Omarosa Manigault Newman [no relation to Alfred E.] his self-help guru.

That's like making Robert "Beto" O'Rourke your firearms expert for SEAL Team Six.

An anonymous source [naturally] told "Page Six" that Omarosa was seen visiting Cohen this summer at the Otisville Federal Correctional Institution in Otisville, New York, which is how it got its name.

Pantsonfire, 53, was the former lawyer for President Trump and has been in federal lockup since May. By the way, he cried like a guy with Fuch's Dystrophy on his way to the Big House.

During Omarosa's visit, the couple discussed their mutual animosity for their former boss, both of whom were canned by him for their incompetence or unacceptable behavior. The source said Newman is  “helping him get through this since they share a common disdain for the president.”

It isn't known when Newman, 45, actually visited the "I would take a bullet for President Trump" cell warrior, but the source said it was sometime around late June since only family members were allowed immediate visits.

“It takes time for visitors [who aren’t relatives] to be approved,” the anonymous source added.

Omarosa wore "dress-up casual" clothing which elicited loud cat calling from the other guests of the state, some of whom hadn't seen a woman in person for a long time. Her visit "created a buzz within the facility" and security was increased, said the source.

“One of the first days that Michael Cohen was at Otisville, the whole entire prison was on lockdown for a few hours because of a drone that was flying over the grounds taking photos,” the source added.

But Cohen has been laying low and "stays busy playing tennis and just biding his time," the source said. It's unclear if he also has the opportunity to play golf, fish and go water skiing.

In an MSNBC [aka MSDNC] interview in August 2018, Omarosa said she knew Cohen for over a decade since he worked closely with Trump when he was hosting "The Apprentice" and she was a first season contestant in 2004.

There is no evidence that Omarosa and Michael Cohen were involved in a sexual relationship at that time and are now trying to rekindle the flame, but there's no proof they weren't. [See how easy that is?]

Omarosa was fired by Trump in December 2017 and allegedly had to be “physically dragged” out of the building. She has promised to never vote for Trump in a presidential election again, even if he runs for a third, fourth of fifth term.

Michael Cohen heading for the slammer, slams Trump

President Trump's former low-average lawyer, Michael Cohen, who has since denounced his former boss, told reporters Monday “there still remains much to be told” as he left his plush New York City apartment to report to federal prison for a three-year sentence after pleading guilty to bevy of crimes.

"There still remains much to be told and I look forward to the day that I can share the truth," Cohen said in brief remarks to reporters as he headed toward Otisville, NY to serve his time at the Federal Correctional Institution [aka prison] there. The joint is about 70 miles north of Manhattan, and is considered the Disneyland of Joints.

In an apparent swipe at President Trump, Cohen also said, “I hope that when I rejoin my family and friends that the country will be in place without xenophobia, injustice and lies at helm of our country.”

Cohen faces a 2 p.m. deadline to report to the prison.

Cohen -- who once claimed he was willing to "take a bullet" for Trump was apparently kidding. He probably wouldn't take a bullet for his wife, much less the guy he worked for and turned on at the nationally televised congressional testimony in February.

Cohen pleaded guilty last year to campaign finance violations, tax evasion and lying to Congress about Trump’s past business dealings in Russia.

In February’s House committee hearing, Cohen said of Trump: “He is a racist. He is a conman. And he is a cheat.” Cohen repeatedly expressed regret and said, “yet I continued to work for him.”

But as a convicted liar, one might only possibly believe the conman and cheat part--Trump is not a racist.

The prison sentence for Cohen was not the maximum but even so, he cried like a baby when convicted.

Among other charges, Cohen pleaded guilty to breaking campaign finance laws during the 2016 campaign by helping orchestrate payments to silence former Playboy model Karen McDougal and adult pornography performer Stormy Daniels, who said she had sexual encounters with Trump while he was married, something nobody really doubts.

Trump has denied the affairs, but c'mon, so what? We all know who Trump is and he got elected anyway. In spite of all this noise, he has not been charged with any crimes related to the payments because he pays off all the women he has extramarital affairs with but he didn't get elected pope; he got elected POTUS.

Cohen also pleaded guilty to misleading Congress about his work on a proposal to build a Trump skyscraper in Moscow, hiding the fact that he continued to speak with Russians about the proposal well into the presidential campaign.

Additionally, prosecutors accused Cohen, clearly not the swiftest shark in the ocean, of a years-long “tax evasion scheme” to avoid paying federal income taxes on more than $4 million made through a number of ventures, including through his ownership of taxi medallions, his  real estate selling in Florida and his consulting work for other clients gullible enough to use him as a consultant.

After reporting to prison, Cohen undergoes medical and mental health screenings and be assigned a job, such as mowing the grounds or cleaning up the visiting room, or recycling the wine bottles. He'll also get sets of clothing, bedding and towels.

At the prison camp, about 115 inmates sleep in bunks lined up in barrack-style halls, instead of individual or two-man cells like in higher-security facilities. Recreational amenities include tennis courts, horseshoes and bocce ball, an Italian bowling game that requires imbibing of red alcoholic substances.

Cohen's fellow inmates include "Jersey Shore" star Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, who wraps up an eight-month tax fraud sentence in September, and Fyre Festival fraudster Billy McFarland, who's serving a six-year sentence.

Bobby "Bag o' Bagels" Ferruccio has already been sprung and swears he was innocent of the charges in the first place. He left a note for Cohen that simply said: "Don't drop the soap."

'Adam Stepped In' Schiff doubles down, calls POTUS's behavior 'deeply unpatriotic and corrupt'

Rep[ulsive] Adam Schiff (D[weeb]-CA) is once again condemning President Trump and claims he has evidence of collusions with the Russians, which in itself is not illegal unless there's evidence of a conspiracy to go along with it.

Schiff[less]'s comments come in light of Attorney General William Barr's four-page summary of Robert Mueller's investigation, which Barr wrote found no evidence beyond reasonable doubt that President Trump colluded with Russia to swing the 2016 presidential election.

The House Intel Committee chair-dweeb continues to insist that, despite the fact that there aren't anymore indictments, President Trump committed acts that were "deeply unpatriotic, unethical and corrupt," which is almost as bad as accusing a sitting president of something that is factually groundless, at least by what is clearly known.

“There is plenty of evidence of collusion and corrupt co-mingling of work between the Trump campaign and the Russians,” Schiff claimed during an appearance on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" Wednesday. “But I fully accept that as a prosecutor that he couldn’t prove beyond a reasonable doubt that crime.”

There is also no proof that Adam Schiff beats his wife and nobody could prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he does so on a regular basis . . . or maybe the other way around, but maybe he does. I don't know for sure and I accept the fact that there's a lack of evidence, but I suspect that he just might be beating the hell out of his wife or she's beating him.

Schiff added that although he accepts Robert Mueller's ruling that President Trump could not be legally implicated in corruption, but does not necessarily believe that means the president didn't commit a crime, anymore than Schiff may or may not have committed treason. But all this negative talk about a sitting president gives me pause and I have to wonder if Schiff is working for the Russians. There seems to be some evidence that he may be working for them because he is doing exactly what they would want him to do under the circumstances.

“I always said, well, there was ample evidence of collusion in the public record,” Schiff claimed. "Whether Bob Mueller could prove the crime of conspiracy beyond a reasonable doubt would be up to him and I would accept his judgment and I do.”

In addition, Schiff addressed the allegations put forth by Trump's former lying lawyer Michael Cohen.

Cohen said that Trump was aware of Roger Stone's efforts to work with Wikileaks to release damaging information about Hillary Clinton ahead of the 2016 presidential election. Again, Schiff is falling right into Putin's pocket. He also lied to the Mueller investigation, is a known liar, and is going to prison for lying, so take whatever he says as a lie unless he can prove otherwise.

“There is no doubt about how the president touted the Wikileaks releases,” Schiff claimed. “All of this is in the public domain, and whether it is criminal or not, as I said the other day in committee, it’s deeply unpatriotic, unethical, and corrupt.”

Schiff and other House leaders have demanded Attorney General Barr provide the full, un-redacted Mueller report, and voted to authorize a subpoena for the documents on Wednesday. Naturally, this is a political ploy because it is unlawful for the names of the innocent and other sensitive material to be released until it has been reviewed and properly redacted to protect them and the sensitive information.

Many conservative figures have argued that a judge will likely not issue a subpoena for the documents because it contains sensitive information about individuals who are not going to be indicted on any crime.

Judicial Watch files ethics complaint against Adam Schiff[less]

Judicial Watch, a conservative government transparency group filed an official complaint with the Office of Congressional Ethics against House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) on Monday.

The complaint alleges that Schiff, (the guy who Greg Gutfeld says looks like Woody from "Toy Story")  acted inappropriately when he met with Fusion GPS founder Glenn Simpson and with Michael "I'd Take a Bullet for Trump" Cohen, the former Trump attorney, before their congressional hearings.

Last week, the Daily Wire discussed Schiff’s “nagging ethics questions,” pointing out that his meeting with Simpson has the appearance of impropriety, as it took place before Simpson testified about his involvement in the alleged Russian collusion narrative and his role in the FBI’s previous investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server.

The article was published just before it was discovered that Schiff met with Cohen for a total of 10 hours before Cohen testified before the House regarding what he knows about other alleged crimes committed by President Donald Trump.

While the JW complaint focuses on the two meetings, it also noted that Schiff appears to leak confidential information to the media during closed-door testimony. Multiple sources have reported that Schiff will leave the room during testimony, and a few minutes later, a “scoop” would appear on CNN reporting on something from the meeting. Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-NY) said Schiff also left the room during Donald Trump Jr.’s closed-door testimony and CNN got a "scoop" once again. Former staffer Donny Ferguson said Schiff did this during Benghazi hearings, and the same thing happened during Cohen’s testimony.

Whether or not Schiff[less] has a quid pro quo arrangement with the Comedy News Network is not known at this time, but would anybody be surprised if one day Schiff becomes a political analyst [accent on 'anal'] for the network?

“Rep. Schiff has an ethics problem. His and his staff’s irregular communications with anti-Trump witnesses reflect poorly on the credibility of the House and its committees’ investigations,” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said in a press release

“It has long been apparent that Rep. Schiff can’t be trusted to lead the Intelligence Committee, so we hope that Democrats on the Ethics Committee stop protecting Mr. Schiff and take action,” Fitton said.

The complaint cites the House Code of Official Conduct and media reports on Schiff’s behavior, but then uses Schiff’s own words against him. In 2017, Schiff demanded then-House Intel Chair Devin Nunes (R-CA) recuse himself because he had told Trump about an “incidental collection” of campaign communications.

At the time Schiff wrote that “I believe the public cannot have the necessary confidence that matters involving the president’s campaign or transition team can be objectively investigated or overseen by the chairman.”

If the foo Schiffs wear it.

Trump walks from talks

Unlike naive presidents before him, President Trump abruptly walked away from negotiations with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in Hanoi, Vietnam. He is now headed back to Washington on Thursday afternoon.

Trump said the U.S. is unwilling to meet Kim's demand of lifting all sanctions on the North Korea regime without first securing a meaningful commitment to denuclearization, not of the Korean peninsula, but of North Korea itself.

Trump said the U.S. asked Kim Jong Un to do more regarding his intentions to denuclearize and “he was unprepared to do that,” which should remove all doubt that "Rocket Man" will continue to develop nuclear weapons. At least Trump isn't being fooled like Bill Clinton and Barack Obama.

“Sometimes you have to walk,” Trump said, taking a page from his book "The Art of the Deal."

The president said that the summit crashed after the North demanded a full removal of U.S.-led international sanctions in exchange for the shuttering of the North's Yongbyon nuclear facility.

Not to be tricked, Trump and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo told reporters that the United States wasn't willing to make a deal without Kim committing to giving up the North's secretive nuclear facilities outside Yongbyon as well as its missile and warheads program.

CNN's Jim "Dear Diary" Acosta was secretly pleased over the failure to come to an agreement. Leftists would rather see Trump fail than have peace in the world.

According to Mike Pompeo, while the talks ended, still things were accomplished and explained that the process is slow.

The president told reporters that Kim promised he would not resume nuclear and missile testing and Trump said he was taking Kim’s word for it, but Kim may have crossed his fingers behind his back.

Trump added that the current U.S. sanctions were still in place and sadly grass will remain a salad staple in North Korea until Kim comes around to honor the terms the U.S. has put forward regarding denuclearization.

The second face-to-face meeting between Trump and Kim wrapped up much earlier than expected, and the White House announced ahead of the news conference that no agreement had been reached between the two leaders. There was to be a signing ceremony but it has been called off.

Regardless, Sarah Sanders described the meetings between Trump and Kim as “very good and constructive.”

As for a potential third summit, Trump remained noncommittal.

Kim had signaled during an earlier, unprecedented question-and-answer session with reporters that he is "ready to denuclearize," reaffirming a commitment long sought by the Trump administration and the international community.

“If I’m not willing to do that, I won’t be here right now,” Kim said through an interpreter.

"That's a good answer," Trump replied sophomorically.

A working lunch consisting of cheeseburgers and fries was supposed to get underway between Trump and Kim on Thursday afternoon, but it never happened.
On what appears to be a positive note, history may have been made when Kim answered questions from a foreign journalist -- almost certainly for the first time ever "in the history of the world," Trump said.

Asked by a member of the White House press pool about his outlook for Thursday's summit, Kim said: "It's too early to say. I won't make predictions. But I instinctively feel that a good outcome will be produced."

South Korea's Unification Ministry, which deals in affairs with North Korea, couldn't confirm whether it was the first time Kim answered a question from a foreign journalist.

Meanwhile, the left is scrambling to find talking points to discredit Trump's efforts to make peace with North Korea. With so many media outlets in the mix, there should be no doubting that they will come up with something soon.

The Michael Cohen testimony apparently did little or nothing to hurt President Trump, and in some ways has exonerated him, but for the left at least, it served as a distraction to much more important news. That's the point.

BuzzardFeed News reporter clueless over Mueller's rebuke

BuzzFeed News investigative reporter [LOL] Anthony Cormier wouldn't explain why his low-credibility colleague, Jason Leopold, claimed to have seen documents which proved President Trump ordered his former attorney Michael Cohen to lie to Congress -- contradicting Cormier's insistence that he had not personally seen the documents.

Code for journalists: If your mother says she loves you, check it out.

"We can't get into, like, the details there," Cormier, like, sitting next to BuzzFeed News Editor-in-Chief Ben Smith, told CNN's "Reliable Sources" host and leftist Brian Stelter.

Leopold did not appear for the interview, which occasionally became tense as Stelter openly criticized BuzzFeed's journalistic practices--something that is normally out of character for the bald-headed stooge of the left.

Cormier and Leopold wrote a fake bombshell report on Thursday, citing two invisible law enforcement officials who said Cohen acknowledged to Special Counsel Mueller’s office that Trump told him to lie to Congress about the potential real-estate deal in Russia, and claim the negotiations ended months before they did so as to conceal Trump’s involvement.

The article prompted Democrats to call for Trump's impeachment and subsequent beheading if it turned out to be true.

The article said that Cohen’s testimony “marks a significant new frontier: It is the first known example of Trump explicitly telling a subordinate to lie directly about his own dealings with Russia.”

But Mueller issued his first public statement in more than a year to repudiate the BuzzFeed report the next day. The Washington Post, a fake news source since 1877, has since reported that Mueller intended his rare denial to mean that the story was "almost entirely incorrect," and that the special counsel's office immediately "reviewed evidence to determine if there were any documents or witness interviews like those described, reaching out to those they thought might have a stake in the case. They found none."

In an interview on Friday, Cormier told the Comedy News Network [CNN], “No, I’ve not seen it personally,” when asked if he had seen the documents mentioned in the story -- including "internal company emails, text messages, and a cache of other documents" -- that purportedly showed Trump told Cohen to lie.

Evidently, his mother told him she loves him.

Cormier only claimed the two sources he cited were “fully, 100 percent read-in to that aspect of the special counsel’s investigation.” Yadda, yadda.

However, Leopold, in a separate interview with Morons Speaking Nothing But Communism (MSNBC), he remarked that, "I don’t think we’ve said we haven’t seen [the documents]" and clarified, "I’ll say we’ve seen documents and been briefed."

Leopold has since suggested that what he meant to say was that he has seen the documents, but that Cormier had not, telling Mediaite, "Yes. Anthony said he had not personally seen the documents.”

BuzzardFeed has not identified the documents, and has said only that it stands by its reporting, without offering additional details.

"As we’ve re-confirmed our reporting, we’ve seen no indication that any specific aspect of our story is inaccurate. We remain confident in what we’ve reported, and will share more as we are able," BuzzardFeed said in a statement.

Smith and Cormier [not to be confused with an old typewriter company] also acknowledged they were not aware of the precise language Trump would have used in instructing Cohen to lie, as they reported.

"We don't know. We're trying to get the exact language that was used," Cormier said. He asserted when asked if his sources were wrong or mistaken: "They're not. They're not. I'm confident."

"We are eager to understand which characterizations Mueller is talking about there, and obviously we take that incredibly seriously,” Smith added, tongue-in-cheek.

Cormier also suggested he should not be fired [again] for authoring the discredited report, because he has worked in the news industry for more than 20 years and built up substantial "skills" that help him divine accurate information from misleading sources. In fact, he can type 30 words a minute when pressed.

Asked how Mueller's rebuke felt, Cormier responded, "Never great."

The biggest story to come out of this debacle isn't the BuzzardFeed lies, but the fact that the leftist media actually did some journalisming by questioning these clowns.

Is Michael Cohen considering a 2024 run if GOP remains in power?

Former lawyer for President Trump, Michael Cohen is considering a shot at the White House when he gets out of the Big House in 2021. He believes this will give him plenty of time to campaign and clear up any misunderstandings the public may have about him.

Cohen knows that it will be a tough battle ahead, what with his 9-count conviction of campaign funding fraud, lying to Congress and other misdeeds. But he is hoping that prison will toughen him up.

Sure he cried like a Betsy Wetsy doll's butt when he received his sentencing. Who can blame him?

There are myriad "what-ifs" to worry about now if you're Michael Cohen. What if his cell mate wants him as his bitch? What if they make him work at a manual labor job like the prison laundry where he will have to wash the underwear of disgusting inmates and blow the farts out of their skivvies? What if he forgets how to be a lawyer? Wait--never mind on that one.

But once he's sprung, he can be a contender. The public loves an underdog and by golly, serving time in the slammer certainly puts him in that category.

After he was handed down his sentence and begged for leniency and accused President Trump of causing him to "follow a path of darkness rather than light," and said Trump had him "cover hp his dirty deeds," and after the tears were dried from his sad, reddened eyes, there was an aura about him that seemed to shout: "Here is a broken man. But here is a man who will put himself back together and take this nation out of darkness and cleanse it with the antiseptic of the light of day, the light of wisdom and truth, the hope and change for the future."

By golly, Cohen for President in 2024!

Michael Cohen hopes "history remembers me as someone who tried to bring country together"

Michael Cohen, the president's former personal lawyer, left the courtroom this week in tears as the judge handed him a three year sentence for criminal behavior. He pleaded guilty to campaign finance violation, tax evasion and lying to Congress.

Cohen hopes his crimes will help bring the country back together, but if it doesn't, he's willing to cut his toenails, because that makes as much sense.

Before he leveled his sentence, U.S. Judge William Pauley said “Cohen pled guilt to a veritable smorgasbord of fraudulent conduct" and “lost his moral compass,” according to a Newsday reporter inside the courtroom, if you can believe that.

Judge Pauley also said that “as a lawyer, Mr. Cohen should have known better.”

Cohen pleaded and begged for leniency and accused President Trump – the man he swore he'd take a bullet for and never walk away before all this happened – of causing him to “follow a path of darkness rather than light” and “cover up his dirty deeds,” according to the Newsday reporter.

Can I get an 'Amen.'

Prosecutors in the Justice Department’s Southern District of New York charged Cohen with eight felony counts in August, including tax evasion, making false statements to a financial institution, and campaign finance violations. Special counsel Robert Mueller, tasked with investigating Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election, tacked on an additional count of lying to Congress last month.

Cohen pleaded guilty to all nine counts adding that he hoped his behavior will inspire Americans to be better Americans and get the country out of the dark and into the light.

Federal prosecutors allege that Cohen violated campaign finance laws by paying off two women who allege to have had affairs with Donald Trump acting “in coordination with and at the direction of” the then-candidate. But that seems to be how Trump rolls.

Trump has argued the payments amount to nothing more than a “simple private transaction,” and do not qualify as campaign finance violations. He does it all the time but said "don't tell Melania." He'll probably come out okay on that charge, I suspect.

Cohen will head off to federal prison in early March. He is not expecting to get a presidential pardon.

Joy[less] Behar want Orrin Hatch to 'go to jail' for not saying what she wants to hear

A proud display of her Constitution IQ = one
Amendment 1 - Freedom of Religion, Press, Expression. Ratified 12/15/1791:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
Freedom of speech is what makes the United States of America the best nation on earth. No other country has that freedom to the degree at which we do. We have the right to say anything we want, as long as we don't call for violence or create intentionally.

There are nine categories of speech that are not protected under the U.S. Constitution and scholars have somewhat differing views, but the categories are clear:
Obscenity.
Fighting words.
Defamation (including libel and slander)
Child pornography.
Perjury.
Blackmail.
Incitement to imminent lawless action.
True threats.
I don't believe many people would have a problem agreeing the above categories should be prohibited.

But freedom of speech also means that a person has the right to say nothing if he or she so chooses.

Joy Behar doesn't think, and she doesn't believe the First Amendment should apply to Orrin Hatch (R-UT). But mostly, she doesn't think.

The ABC News’ “The View” co-host said on Thursday that retiring Senator. Hatch “maybe” should be sent to prison for not speaking out against President Trump, proving she's a far-left idiot, but I repeat myself.

“I don’t know if you saw this clip of Orrin Hatch, the esteemed, so-called senator from Utah,” Behar said. “I used to like him because he was very friendly with Teddy Kennedy,” the late Massachusetts senator who allowed Mary Jo Kopechne to drown in his car after it plunged into the Chappaquiddick river. He was drunk at the time, left the scene for hours, but Behar thinks he was a great guy.

So Behar liked Hatch because he liked Ted Kennedy. Brilliant! Now she says that he's a "so-called" senator. How gracious of the so-called comedienne.

Behar also described a video clip – that ABC News significantly did not air during the segment – in which she claimed Hatch said he didn’t care if President Trump and his former attorney Michael Cohen committed crimes together.

’I don’t care,’ he said, ‘the president’s doing a good job,” Behar said. “Where have we come when a senator from Utah is saying, 'I don’t care if he committed a crime?'”

But watch the video below and see how the CNN reporter tries to put words in Hatch's mouth. He never actually said what Behar wanted to hear.

This is exactly the type of "fake news" Behar is spouting--although to call anything on "The View" 'news' is ridiculous.

When the senator was asked about the president's links to Cohen, Hatch said, "All I can say is this: President Trump, before he became president, that's another world. Since he's become president, this economy has charged ahead. We're all better off, the country is better off."

When the reporter mentioned that the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York is a Trump appointee, Hatch replied: "I don't care. All I can say is, he's doing a good job as president." That isn't the same thing as saying he doesn't care if Trump did anything illegal.

"View" co-host Meghan McCain reminded Behar that Hatch is “almost gone” when Behar fired back, “Don’t they care about democracy anymore?”

Doesn't Behar care about the U.S. Constitution anymore?

McCain complimented Hatch’s “hilarious” Twitter account before the show went to a commercial break. Behar was still joyless. When the show returned from break she continued the conversation.

"He is going out of office. He has nothing to lose by speaking, against truth-to- power about Trump,” Behar said. “Why does he say, ‘Even if he commits a crime, it’s OK?’ Maybe he needs to go to jail, too.”

He never said that. Behar is either lying or she's an idiot--wait--both can be true at the same time.

Michael 'Believe All Women' Avenatti

Michael '"Believe All Women" Avenatti, the "lawyer" suing President Trump and his former "lawyer" Michael Cohen on behalf of porn performer Stormy Daniels, tried to get federal prosecutors to break precedent by filing criminal charges against Trump over related campaign finance law violations that have yet  to undergo due process, something Avenatti only believes in only when it comes to him.

The unsuccessful, Trump-hating lawyer tweeted:
“@realDonaldTrump should be indicted for committing the two felonies designed to get him elected. Now. No court has ever ruled that the POTUS cannot be indicted and there is nothing in the constitution that states as much.”

Avenatti's call for an indictment came on the heels of prosecutors in the Southern District of New York filing court documents Friday in the government’s case against Michael Cohen, 52, implicating Trump in his former lawyer’s admitted campaign finance law violations.

In anticipation of a future sentencing hearing, prosecutors said in their filing that Cohen deserved a "substantial" prison term in connection with crimes that included paying two women during the 2016 presidential campaign to keep quiet about their alleged sexual relationships with Mr. Trump, identified in the documents as “Individual-1.”

Avenatti, 47, sued Mr. Trump and Mr. Cohen over a similar nondisclosure agreement between Cohen and Daniels, 39, during the 2016 presidential race. Avenatti has considered a 2020 election run against Trump, but has since bowed out on the advice of his children. It is thought that this is how he makes most of his important decisions.

The DOJ's Office of Legal Counsel concluded in 2000 that “the indictment or criminal prosecution of a sitting President would unconstitutionally undermine the capacity of the executive branch to perform its constitutionally assigned functions.”

“It is time for the SCOTUS to decide the issue,” the follicle challenged Avenatti tweeted Saturday.

BREAKING: Fed. prosecutors recommend 'substantial term of imprisonment' for Michael Cohen

Federal prosecutors moments ago said in a court document that Michael Cohen "repeatedly used his power and influence for deceptive ends" and are recommending substantial prison time.

He will also be fined $500,000.

For those readers who may have just been told the Viet Nam War is over, Mr. Cohen was President Trump's personal lawyer and claimed that he would "take a bullet" for him. [President Trump is currently our president and beat a horrible woman named Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election.]

But seriously, the U.S. Attorney General's Office for the Southern District of New York filed the memo that described "a pattern of deception" that Cohen perpetuated and led him to commit four federal crimes over several years.

The memo reads:

He was motivated to do so by personal greed, and repeatedly used his power and influence for deceptive ends. The crimes committed by Cohen were more serious than his submission allows and were marked by a pattern of deception that permeated his professional life (and was evidently hidden from the friends and family members who wrote on his behalf).”
He was motivated to do so by personal greed, and repeatedly used his power and influence for deceptive ends.
— The U.S. Attorney General’s Office for the Southern District of New York
Cohen pleaded guilty in November to making false statements to the Senate Intelligence Committee in 2017 about a plan to build a Trump Tower in Moscow. He pleaded guilty in August in a separate case that Mueller referred to prosecutors in the Southern District of New York because it fell outside the scope of his congressional mandate to probe possible Russia collusion.

Michael Cohen is in deep trouble.
