Dem Gov Katie Hobbs under criminal investigation by Dem AG's office

Attorney General Kris Mayes, a Democrat, like Gov. Katie Hobbs, opened a probe in June 2024 into Hobbs’ administration after the Arizona Republic reported on Sunshine Residential Homes, a Department of Child Safety contractor providing group homes and foster care services.

Sunshine had donated roughly $400,000 to Hobbs’ inauguration fund and the Arizona Democratic Party around the same time it was seeking a substantial rate increase from DCS. Under the Hobbs administration, Sunshine eventually got that increase, receiving treatment critics have described as preferential or unusually generous compared with other providers.

Naturally, this raised a few questions. Nothing too serious, just the usual questions about pay-to-play, conflicts of interest, procurement rules and whether government contracts might occasionally find their way toward politically connected donors.

Hobbs has denied any wrongdoing or personal involvement in the contracting decision. Her office says there is no evidence she participated in it and insists the department acted in the best interests of foster children.

Which is certainly reassuring. After all, when a company gives hundreds of thousands of dollars to politicians and then receives a major increase in taxpayer-funded payments, the first thing everyone wants to hear is that nobody involved remembers having anything to do with it.

As of mid-August 2026, the investigation is still underway. Mayes’ office has requested a formal interview with Hobbs, a request first publicly reported around April 2026, but the interview has not yet occurred. Hobbs says her office is communicating with investigators and that she looks forward to the investigation concluding.

Mayes has described the probe as being “near the end” and has indicated that results are expected before the November 2026 election.

So apparently Arizona voters may get to discover what happened just in time to decide whether they would like four more years of the person allegedly not involved in anything that happened.

For the record, no charges or indictment have been filed against Hobbs.

Separate Republican-led reviews in the Arizona House, including an effort involving outside counsel, have also examined the allegations. But the criminal investigation belongs to the attorney general’s office.

And then there is the internet’s favorite part of the story: claims that the Arizona Senate somehow “indicted” Hobbs over RICO allegations or other conspiracy theories.

It did not.

The legislature does not have the authority to indict people. Apparently, even political satire has to observe certain constitutional limitations.

For now, the Sunshine Residential Homes controversy remains a major political headache for Hobbs as she campaigns for reelection. The investigation could eventually clear her, produce charges, or simply continue long enough for everyone involved to become extremely familiar with the phrase “ongoing investigation.”

The status described here reflects public reporting as of mid-August 2026 and could change.

200 Marines deploy to support ICE in Florida

Two hundred Marines from North Carolina’s Marine Support Squadron 272 are headed to Florida to back ICE, U.S. Northern Command says. They’re part of 700 troops, active duty, Guard, Reserves, tapped by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth after DHS begged for help May 9.

Florida’s first up, with Texas and Louisiana next. The Marines will handle “critical administrative and logistical capabilities at locations as directed by ICE,” per Thursday’s release. Think paperwork and transport, not handcuffs. 

“Their roles will focus on administrative and logistical tasks, and they are specifically prohibited from direct contact with individuals in ICE custody or involvement in any aspect of the custody chain,” the news release hammers home.

This isn’t new. The military’s been law enforcement’s wingman for ages. The FBI Law Enforcement Bulletin in ’91 said it best: “Contrary to what many police officers believe, the Posse Comitatus Act permits civilian law enforcement agencies to seek military assistance under some specific circumstances.” 

Guard units, for example, regularly sling “training, technical support, services, intelligence analysis, surveillance, communications towers, vehicle barriers, and pedestrian fences,” per a 2010 report.

The Pentagon’s doubling down on border security, with four new military zones in Texas and Arizona to curb illegal migration and drugs. Pentagon flack Sean Parnell says 8,500 Joint Task Force Southern Border troops have run 3,500 patrols, some with Mexican forces, and Marines have backed 170+ missions across 130 spots for nine agencies, including DHS and DEA.

Where in Florida? NORTHCOM’s lips are sealed. Rumors point to Alligator Alcatraz, ICE’s new Everglades lockup, but they ain’t confirming. Details? Forget it—NORTHCOM’s clamming up. Marines are coming to stack boxes, not to kick butt and take names.

AZ Gov. Hobbs (D) wants to allow anti-Semitism to be taught in AZ public schools

Democrat Gov. Kathie Hobbs vetoed bill banning anti-Semitism to be taught in public schools.

She called the law an ‘attack on teachers’ and claimed it would have had a limited impact in combatting bigotry, and after all, what's a little good ole fashion Jew hatred amongst comrades, eh?

The bill would have banned the teaching of Jew hatred material in the state's public schools, community colleges, and universities.

House Bill 2867, sponsored by Republican representative Michael Way, cleared the legislature last week by a margin of 33-20 with the backing of several Democrats who fail to hate Jews and others with immutable characteristics.

If implemented, it would have banned the teaching or promotion of anti-Semitism in public school, requiring students to advocate for anti-Semitic positions and make it a specific offense for teachers to provide anti-Semitic professional guidance or call for the genocide of any group.

But for Hobbs and her ilk, it's simply not fair to have blood libels and general anti-Semitism stifled.

The bill was based on the IHRA definition of antisemitism, which critics, including some Jewish organizations in the state, posit that it could compromise teachers’ ability to provide comprehensive Holocaust education and could stifle legitimate criticism of Israel and discussion of Middle Eastern affairs.

In particular, some pointed to the clause in the definition which labels the claim “that the existence of a State of Israel is a racist endeavor” as an example of Jew-hate, which, it turns out, is a belief held by racists who refuse to allow a Jewish State to exist.

However, it was the bill’s provision for teachers to be made personally liable to lawsuits against them if they violated the regulations that prompted Hobbs to strike it down at the final hurdle.

The bill would have allowed complainants to sue teachers directly, rather than school districts, and compel the individual educators to cover the costs of the case.

In a letter explaining her veto, Hobbs wrote: “Unfortunately this bill is not about anti-Semitism; it’s about attacking our teachers.

"It puts an unacceptable level of personal liability in place for our public school, community college, and university educators and staff, opening them up to threats of personally costly lawsuits.”

I suppose she has a point there, but what would Hobbs say about an Arizona teacher explaining to the class that the prophet of Islam was a pedophile, [if that's what the teacher believed based on Mohammed having married a 6-year-old] and consummating the marriage when the child, Alisha, was 9?

And what would Hobbs say about Islamic blasphemy laws that call for the death of those who leave Islam, or burn a Koran, or say negative things about Mohammed, or even draw a picture of Mo?

If she would agree that teachers have the right to teach about all religions in a manner they believe is correct, then her veto is reasonable, but my gut tells me different. My gut also tells me that religion needs to be taught in a different venue, not in the public schools, but teaching about the Holocaust isn't about religion, it's about the hatred of a group of people guilty of being born into the Jewish religion.

To be fair, Hobbs' office took measures to combat anti-Semitism, including expanding Holocaust education requirements in schools and appropriating funding for a Holocaust education centre in the state capital of Phoenix, saying it “was a powerful reminder that the most effective way to combat antisemitism is through education, empathy, and community.” Her letter also included a message from Lori Shepherd, executive director of the Tucson Jewish Museum and Holocaust Center, who said the bill was “not the answer” to the issues faced by the state’s Jewish community.

"While I support the need to fight hate and anti-Semitism, the bill’s vague language and punitive approach send a dangerous message to teachers: avoid controversy, or face a courtroom,” she added.

To be even fairer, we all know about the dirty secret that has bubbled up to the surface like a turd in a cesspool: open anti-Semitism. It's coming to a town near you, if it hasn't already arrived.

Louisiana child killer faces death penalty again after Biden's 'outrageous' commutation: DA

Evil doesn’t get a pass just because a pen scratches paper in Washington. Thomas Sanders, a 67-year-old plop of human excrement who kidnapped and slaughtered 12-year-old Lexis Roberts, thought he’d cheated the needle when Joe Biden commuted his death sentence to life in 2024. 

But Louisiana isn’t done with him. Not by a long shot.

Back in 2010, Sanders, a warehouse grunt in Las Vegas, wormed his way into the life of Lexis and her mother, Suellen. Two months into dating Suellen, he sweet-talked them into a Labor Day road trip to the Grand Canyon. Sounds wholesome, right? Except this wasn’t a family vacation—it was a death march. 

On the way back, Sanders veered off I-40 into the Arizona desert, gunned down Suellen, and snatched Lexis. For days, he dragged that terrified 12-year-old across the country, a predator with a child in his claws, until he hit Catahoula Parish, Louisiana. There, in a wooded patch, he shot her three times in the head, once in the chest with a .22 rifle, and, for good measure, slit her throat with a homemade knife.

Hunters found her body in October 2010. A nationwide manhunt ended with Sanders cuffed at a Mississippi truck stop in November.

A Louisiana federal jury didn’t flinch in 2014. They convicted Sanders for kidnapping and murder—the first death penalty handed down in the Western District of Louisiana’s federal court. Justice, hard and cold, was served. Until Biden, in his final days as the 46th president, decided to play God. He commuted Sanders’ sentence, one of 37 death row inmates spared. Why? Nobody’s got a good answer other than the probability that Biden's handler[s] rather than himself, did the commuting because Biden's brain was on par with gum.

Catahoula Parish District Attorney Brad Burget sure as hell doesn’t want to play God. 

“I found it outrageous that President Biden would use this clemency power to commute the sentence of the child killer,” Burget told Fox News Digital on Thursday. “Whatever your politics are doesn't matter. This is a 12-year-old who watched her mother be brutally killed by Mr. Sanders. Then, he kidnapped her and traveled halfway across the United States to rural Catahoula Parish in Louisiana, where he shot this 12-year-old three times in the head and once in the chest with a 22-caliber rifle and then slit her throat with a homemade knife.” 

You feel that? That’s the weight of a child’s life snuffed out, and a president’s signature saying it doesn’t matter.

Burget’s had enough. On Monday, he hauled Sanders’ case before a Catahoula Parish grand jury, slapping him with state charges. See, when Sanders was nabbed in 2010, the feds took the lead, and a local warrant got buried. Now, Burget’s dusting it off. “This child suffered a horrible death,” he said.

“And I think the only penalty for Sanders is the death penalty. The federal prosecutor did a wonderful job and presented the case to their jury, sought justice and got justice for Alexis and her family. And then Joe Biden decided to undo that with the signing of his signature. I don't understand why.”

Louisiana law don’t let district attorneys like Burget charge capital offenses solo—grand juries call those shots. So, Burget laid out the evidence, raw and unsparing, and the jury indicted Sanders on state charges. Now, it’s a new game. “I think we'll be successful, but only time will tell,” Burget said. “I'll put it in the hands of a jury … when the jury makes a decision, you have to respect that. I respect the Catahoula Parrish jury will make the right decision when I present the case to them.”

This isn’t about politics. It’s about a little girl who never got to grow up, a mother gunned down in the desert, and a system that sometimes forgets what justice looks like. Sanders thought he’d dodged his reckoning.

They got him! AZ man who allegedly threatened to kill Trump caught like a dog

A manhunt was launched Thursday in Arizona for a man that authorities say threatened to assassinate former President Donald Trump before a planned event in the state.

For those living in a cave or under a rock, there was an attempt on the life of Trump on July 13, where he was struck by a round that pierced his ear. Another individual, Corey Comperatore was killed and two other individuals were wounded but survived.

Since the shooting, President Trump will now be appearing behind bullet-proof glass at outdoor events because the Secret Service seems to suck at protecting him.

But in this case, Cochise County Sheriff's Office told Fox News Digital that 66-year-old Ronald Lee Syvrud has been taken into custody without incident at around 2:30 p.m. local time in Cochise County. The charges are pending but he has outstanding warrants from Wisconsin for DUI and failure to appear for the DUI, and for hit-and-run and felony failure to register as a sex offender.

The sheriff’s office said earlier that Syvrud has outstanding warrants from the state of Wisconsin for DUI, failure to appear for DUI and from Graham County, Arizona, for hit-and-run and felony failure to register as a sex offender.

Syvrud is listed on the Wisconsin Department of Corrections sex offender registry for "second-degree sexual assault of a child" with an Arizona address.

The sheriff's office posted on Facebook that Syvrud was being sought "as an investigative lead for threats to kill a presidential candidate," but did not elaborate. Fox News Digital later confirmed that the "presidential candidate" was Trump, so it stands to reason that this sex offending, DUI scumbag is, you guessed it, a Democrat.

Additional charges against the Democrat are pending.

As far as we know, there are no known ties to the Butler County, PA scumcrumpet, Thomas Crooks, other than they both are likely Democrats.

Trump is visiting the southern border in Cochise County, Arizona, on Thursday as part of his ongoing campaign for the upcoming November election. This week, he's been focusing on battleground states.

During a press conference on Thursday afternoon, Trump seemed unaware of the ongoing manhunt when questioned about it. He acknowledged that it might be "dangerous" for him to be there but added, "I have a job to do."

"I haven't heard about that. They probably want to keep it from me," Trump said, when asked about the manhunt. "Thank you for telling me. Let's get out of here, right now!" Trump joked. He thanked the reporter for telling him about it.

Trump then shifted his remarks to the assassination attempt in Butler, expressing his "great respect for the Secret Service" for their actions, stating they "jumped on top of me with bullets flying."

"I have great respect, but no, I haven't heard about that," Trump said, referring to the ongoing manhunt. "I'm not that surprised. And the reason is because I want to do things that are very bad for the bad guys."
The U.S. Secret Service told Fox News Digital it is aware of and tracking the manhunt in Arizona and referred all further inquiries to the Cochise County Sheriff's Office for further comments, including potential ties to Butler.

But now they got him and for now Syvrud will remain in custody and be closely questioned about the threat he made as well as the other legal problems he is facing.

AZ DA refuses to extradite suspected NYC suspected killer: distrusts Bragg to prosecute

A high-level District Attorney in Arizona says she will not extradite 26-year-old Raad Almansoori to New York City. Almansoori is the key suspect in the brutal murder of a "prostitute with a good heart" but Maricopa County Attorney General Rachel Mitchell believes that Manhattan's DA Alvin Bragg will cut this guy loose and not prosecute, as is his wont. 

Bragg seems to like violent criminals as his record shows.

At a Wednesday press briefing Mitchell said she would not release Almansoori to authorities in New York City, saying it is safer for the general public to keep him locked up in Arizona rather than risk him being potentially let go under the Soros-backed Bragg.

Mitchell labeled Alamansoori as "dangerous and violent." He is wanted by the NYPD for the killing of Denisse Oleas-Arancibia, 38, a mother of two and a sex worker to make ends meet. She was found dead inside the SoHo 54 Hotel on Watts Street on Feb. 8. Police say she was killed by a suspect who beat her over the head with an iron, and bits of plastic from the appliance were found embedded in her skull.

Back to Arizona. Alamansoori was arrested earlier in the week after cops say he stabbed two women there, one of whom he attempted to rape in a McDonald's bathroom at gunpoint.

He had been out on bail at the time of Oleas-Arancibia’s murder on charges that he kidnapped another sex worker and sexually assaulted her in Sumter County, Florida, in 2023.

Mitchell says she doesn’t trust Bragg to prosecute Almansoori, despite the gravity of his alleged crimes. Nobody should.

"I know there's been a discussion about New York wanting to extradite this individual and this is not aimed at the New York Police Department at all," Mitchell said. "I know they did a hard job, a good job, but we will not be agreeing to extradition."

"I've instructed my extradition attorneys not to agree to that. We’re going to keep him here, these are mandatory prison sentences."

"And having observed the treatment of violent criminals in the New York area by the Manhattan D.A. there, Alvin Bragg, I think it’s safer to keep him here and keep him in custody so that he cannot be out and doing this to individuals either in our state or county or anywhere in the United States."

"He is being held without bond meaning there is no amount of money that he can post to get out of custody at this point."

When Bragg has a criminal without bond, for him it means the criminal can get out of jail without the inconvenience of posting a bond and hope that he returns for a future court date, which happens as often as lightning strikes on Gracie Mansion.

Since being in office Bragg has been criticized for being soft on crime and refusing to prosecute [aka do his freaking job] violent criminals. For example, several illegal aliens who were arrested for attacking two NYPD officers in Times Square were initially let go without bail. Okay, I lied--bail was set at $1.00, a buck. It's disgraceful that the city has a Soros-backed DEI loser as District Attorney. 

Bragg was also ridiculed for cutting a sweetheart deal with a career criminal who went on to punch a woman randomly, his slap on the wrist for a man who viciously assaulted a 55-year-old nurse and jailing, but jailing a bodega owner whose life was in danger as he was being robbed, and killed the armed robber. He was eventually released, but the public went ballistic before he let the man go.

He is also prosecuting former President Trump for alleged hush-money payments ahead of the 2016 presidential election and really doesn't have a legitimate case because the case in question has nothing to do with NY City.

But a spokesperson for Bragg shot back at Mitchell’s comments, saying that murders and shootings are down since he took office, while the Big Apple’s murder rate is less than Phoenix, Arizona’s capital. The reason for that, however, is the routine decriminalizing of previous crimes. If murder were to be decriminalized, for example, murder crime would disappear. However the real issue isn't about the statistics of any crime reduction, it's about Bragg not prosecuting criminals.

The NYPD had been searching for Almansoori who they say was seen leaving the scene wearing the same tight leggings Oleas-Arancibia had on when she checked into the hotel the day before. A pair of blood-splattered men's pants were found alongside Oleas-Arancibia's body, police say.

Oleas-Arancibia came to the United States five years ago from Ecuador with her 18-year-old son while she left her other son behind.

Almansoori was nabbed in a stolen car on Sunday by police who say they were chasing him for the attack on the woman in McDonald’s, whom he stabbed several times.

Almansoori was arrested on a slew of charges in Arizona, including attempted homicide, robbery and two assault charges. He also has an outstanding warrant in Texas.

AZ Gov's press secretary "resigns" after being outed by a pro-violence tweet against "transphobes"

After being ratioed on Twitter, the press secretary for Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs (D) no longer has a job. The Urban Dictionary defines ratioed as when "a reply to a tweet gets more likes than the tweet it was replying to, usually indicating the unpopularity or stupidity of the original tweet."

Hobbs' press secretary Josselyn Berry tweeted just hours after the 28-year-old woman with gender dysphoria opened fire at the Covenant School in Nashville. The post by Berry suggested that people who are "transphobic" [a word invented by the left to stop all discussion about transgender people grooming children, for example] should be shot. 

Well, on Wednesday Berry resigned.

Berry's tweet included a GIF of the late Gena Rowlands in a scene from the movie "Gloria," where she is pointing two revolver handguns.

Arizona GOPers correctly accused Berry of inciting violence and called on Hobbs to fire her.

"Calling for violence is NEVER acceptable," the Arizona Freedom Caucus tweeted. "@GovernorHobbs Press Sec. tweeting about shooting political opponents on the same day a trans activist shoots up a school is nothing short of vile & heartless. There is no room for this in AZ Fire @joss_berry Now"

Arizona state Rep. Austin Smith tweeted, "Fire @joss_berry. Calling for violence from the 9th floor is beneath the office she is supposed to serve."

"Please contact @katiehobbs' office and respectfully demand that she fire her press secretary, Josselyn Berry, who posted an inciteful [sic] meme calling for the murder of transphobes," tweeted Arizona Women of Action. "Pray for a peaceful resolution."

The offending post from Berry, a Democratic operative and spokesperson for Hobbs, was later removed from Twitter for violating the site’s rules against inciting violence.

"The Governor does not condone violence in any form. This administration holds mutual respect at the forefront of how we engage with one another. The post by the Press Secretary is not reflective of the values of the administration. The Governor has received and accepted the resignation of the Press Secretary," the governor's office told ABC15 in a statement.

Somehow it has become acceptable to some on the Left to incite violence on those with different opinions, especially the religious right.

Maricopa County judge orders 2-day trial in Kari Lake's election suit

Kari Lake's lawsuit filed on December 9th in Maricopa County, Arizona regarding the gubernatorial election will go to trial, as ruled by a judge Monday. Lake alleges that “hundreds of thousands of illegal ballots infected” the Nov. 8 election, which led to Hobbs being declared the winner. The suit apparently “contains more than 270 exhibits of evidence.” 

Lake’s suit also relies on expert witness testimony:

Last week Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Peter Thompson agreed to allow Lake’s legal team to “inspect a small number of printed and early ballots from the election. The inspection includes 50 that were marked ‘spoiled’ on Election Day.” That inspection is scheduled to begin today, Tuesday, December 20, so grab your popcorn and sit back.

After a Monday hearing the judge tossed eight of the claims in Lake’s lawsuit while allowing two to remain alleging an intentional plot by election officials to manipulate the election in favor of Secretary of State Katie Hobbs, the Democratic opponent.

 In two separate orders, he ruled that a two-day trial will take place before Jan. 2, and that Hobbs and County Recorder Stephen Richer would be required to testify as Lake requested.

The ruling stated that Lake has “alleged intentional misconduct sufficient to affect the outcome of the election and thus has stated an issue of fact that requires going beyond the pleadings,” and that at trial Lake must show that the county’s serendipitous printer malfunctions were intentional and designed to affect the election results, and that the actions “did actually affect the outcome.”

Hobbs’ attorneys argued that “Lake’s case should be thrown out because it doesn’t adhere to state standards for a valid election complaint” and asked for sanctions against Lake and her attorneys:

Kurt Olsen, one of Lake’s attorneys, meanwhile portrayed the lawsuit as an expose of systemic problems, failures and possible illegal acts by election officials that led to “massive failure” at the polling stations and “tens of thousands” of disenfranchised voters.

Lake’s attorneys include Bryan Blehm, who was a lawyer for Cyber Ninjas, the contractor hired by the state Senate for its review of the 2020 election, and Kurt Olsen, a Washington, D.C., lawyer who recently was ordered to pay sanctions in a federal suit brought by Lake and Finchem that a judge said contained frivolous and baseless claims.

Olsen said the judge should take the affidavit seriously of  “top cyber expert” Clay Parikh, whose analysis concluded that the county’s “system-wide” failures could only be explained by intentional manipulation of county officials. 

An analysis “based on science” also showed that 15,000 to 29,000 votes were disenfranchised, Olsen said, without having consulted Doctor Anthony Fauci, who is science, nor Doctor Jill Biden who is one of the world's most eminent doctors. 

Olsen also claimed the county mysteriously “found” 25,000 “extra voters” two days after the polls closed, which adds to the serendipity of the election for Hobbs.

Sandy Cortez upset that Sen. Kirsten Sinema left Dem. Party

Rep. Alexandria (Sandy) Occasionally-Comatose (Socialist-NY) is miffed that Sen. Kirsten Sinema (I-AZ) has left the Democratic Party and announced she will now be an independent on Friday.

Comatose has no problem with fellow socialist/communist Sen. Bernie Sanders as an Independent but has a problem with Sinema's leaving the party of the KKK. She is best known for Jeff Bezos' decision not to move Amazon headquarters to Queens, NY,  AOC's district she misrepresents, based on her socialist ideology.

Sinema announced her decision in an Arizona Republic op-ed published last Friday, where she criticized the current two party system. [Funny, last time I checked, there was more than two parties listed on the ballot, but perhaps I miscounted.]

"Americans are told that we have only two choices – Democrat or Republican – and that we must subscribe wholesale to policy views the parties hold, views that have been pulled further and further toward the extremes," Sinema wrote. "Most Arizonans believe this is a false choice, and when I ran for the U.S. House and the Senate, I promised Arizonans something different."

Ms. Obviously-Comatose responded to Sinema saying the senator doesn't offer  "a single concrete value or policy she believes in," whereas she, AOC, offers a bunch of programs like the Green New Deal that focuses around cow flatulence and sunny day energy.

Heeeere's Sandy!

"She lays out no goals for Arizonans, no vision, no commitments," the wide-eyed congress Latinx said as she appeared on Tic Toc as she danced and cooked tacos. "It’s ‘no healthcare, just vibes’ for Senate."

Sinema, who, like it or not, actually has a mind of her own, is up for reelection in 2024 as is our semi-sentient President Joe "Big Guy" Biden.

"I pledged to be independent and work with anyone to achieve lasting results. I committed I would not demonize people I disagreed with, engage in name-calling, or get distracted by political drama," Sinema said in the op-ed.

Although Sinema is now an independent, she will still maintain her committee assignments, according to Senate Majority Leader Charles "Nostrils" Schumer.

"She asked me to keep her committee assignments, and I agreed," said Amy Schumer's cousin. "Kyrsten is independent, that’s how she’s always been."

Arizona county approves hand count of all ballots: Dems freak out

In Cochise County, Arizona a panel of county supervisors voted along party lines to order a manual hand count of all ballots after the voting is concluded. It isn't hard to guess which party voted for a hand count and which voted against it, but I'm going to tell you anyway. The 2 Republicans voted for the hand count because it's accurate, albeit slow, and the lone Democrat voted against it because it's accurate.

While there was two different versions of the plan, the measure passed. Concerns over the potential liability of the supervisors in probable lawsuits challenging the recount process were raised, but the one thing missing from the objections was why would anyone be against having a verifiable second count of ballots to ensure accuracy and reliability of the voting machines, unless they didn't want the voting machines results challenged.

The meeting was chaotic but the plan got passed as Cochise County Supervisors Peggy Judd and Thomas Crosby voted for the it. Ann English, a Democrat, voted against both proposals, but the measure got passed in spite of that.

“I implore you not to attempt to order this separate hand-count,” said County Attorney Brian McIntyre, a Republican. He said such action would be unlawful and supervisors could be held personally liable in a civil action.

These types of questions are coming up all around the country. Worry over the accuracy of the count in the 2020 election and doubts about the integrity of some of the voting machine systems that are commonly utilized seem to be driving a push toward older, low-tech methods of tallying the ballots of voters because they are harder to beat.

And wherever voting machines are used – particularly touchscreen machines that may or may not produce a paper record – better and more reliable methods of conducting recounts are being sought.

So Cochise County may be a sign of a larger trend as 2024 looms near. People are distrustful of voting machines.

 Assuming the human election monitors who check and count the ballots are doing so accurately with representatives from both parties supervising the work, what basis would anyone have for suing the county supervisors? And even more to the point, who would object to a hand count in the first place? Wouldn’t that be the only and most obvious way to ensure the accuracy of the totals?

Well perhaps that is exactly the problem the Democrats have with this plan.

Abortion less relevant politically as midterms approach

With the midterm elections just 28 days away as of Tuesday, the issue of killing babies in the womb and soon thereafter has become increasingly less relevant for Democrats as inflation remains the top issue facing Americans.

Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV) who is running again tried to sidestep the inflation issue in an interview with the Associated Press on Monday. She instead wanted to discuss abortion because it's simple enough for Democrats to discuss and inflation is obviously a failure for her party and cannot be defended.

“I know our families, the issues that are important to them are the kitchen-table issues,” she said, citing inflation that has been fueled by massive Democrat spending in the last two years.

So the kitchen-table issue for her is whether it's okay to talk about dismembering an unborn baby while trying to eat dinner at the same time.

“But I also know, talking with our families, the repeal of Roe v. Wade is having an impact,” she claimed. “We’re a pro-choice state, proudly. That’s why so many are outraged by the repeal.”

Perhaps it's time to be a voice for the unborn human who should have the same rights in spite of him or her not yet traveling through the birth canal. What choice does the baby have?

At least Americans, are beginning to see what the real problems are that need immediate attention: gas prices soaring [the price per gallon in Nevada are above $5.40]; unemployment is higher there too than the national average; food cost astronomical; the Nevada electrical grid is now reliant on expanded large-scale battery storage technology as opposed to traditional energy forms like natural gas-powered generating stations, thanks to Cortez-Mato's "anti-energy policies."

Christmas may come soon for the GOP if the polls are correct.

Democrat Yusette Solomon, who works for the Culinary Workers union, acknowledged the state’s sagging economy is a far more relevant worry than the state’s abortion law. Abortions are permitted in Nevada up to 24 weeks of pregnancy, long after most EU abortion laws; and still the left wants more. 

Legal, safe and rare has become shout your abortion.

“It’s hard for everybody,” Solomon told the Associated Press. “It’s the supermarket. It’s gas. Inflation is something we need to deal with. Everyone’s feeling it.”

In Arizona, the issue of abortion is also less significant. Senate candidate Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ) is a co-sponsor of a pro-abortion bill that would force every state to adopt a new federal abortion standard that would permit abortions without limits.

Without limits. Think about that please.

 According to polling however, Kelly’s abortion position is perceived as too radical by voters, finding only 27 percent want no limits on killing babies that Kelly's legislation allows. Hopefully the remaining 73 percent who want limits will limit Kelly's term to the one term he has already served as Arizona's economy is circling the bowl.

Currently, Arizona limits the killing of babies up to 15 weeks and 53 percent of Arizona voters oppose abortion up to birth. Kelly may be spending more time with wife Gabby Giffords. 

According to a poll by Civiqs on Monday, 62 percent of voters say the economy is deteriorating.  Seventy percent believe the current condition of the economy is very bad or fairly bad. Joe Biden thinks the economy is soaring and vanilla ice cream.

AZ Dem: "If you marry a White guy, you ain't Latina"

Gallego's mask is as useless as his Party's "solutions"

Racist Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) attacked Tanya Contreras Wheeless, an Hispanic woman [which he cannot define] running for Congress in Arizona's fourth district as a Republican, of not being a real Latina because she took her [White] husband's last name. 

Gallego, who has not hyphenated his own wife's last name, Widland, is suggesting that Wheeless deliberately "hid" her Hispanic identity [perhaps to keep Hispanic people from voting for her], but it looks more like he is a sexist than she is an ashamed Latina.

Gallego said that "If you were Latino in Arizona around 2010 people were telling us to go back to Mexico," he said, "you would hear I am not voting for a ‘spic.’"

"Tanya is Latina," Gallego tweeted, "cuando le conviene," meaning, "when it suits her."

Seriously, that's a rather disgusting thing to say, even for a Democrat. Well, no, not so much for a Democrat, but for this guy it is. But let's remember that the Democratic Party is the party of identity politics because they aren't very good at anything else. 

Gallego was married to a Jewish woman who he divorced in 2017. She kept his last name, but he never used nor kept hers.

Wheeless hit back at Gallego in a statement explaining that "many women change their name when they get married, but that doesn’t change who they are or where they came from." She called his statement "sexist and racist"

In spite of the fact that Gallego is a former Marine [as I am] his attack on Wheeless is weak and a distraction from the level of failure the Democratic Party has shown after Trump left office. If she is somehow ashamed of her Hispanic heritage [but really doesn't hide it when hyphenating her name] why is he now using it as a personal flag to get the Hispanic vote?

AZ Democrats plan "F**k the 4th" event to "mourn" 'abortion-inconvenience'

Democrats are sore losers whenever things don't go their way. They have temper tantrums and act like spoiled brats.

A local Arizona Democratic Party had a temper tantrum over the Supreme Court decision to end the unconstitutional Roe v. Wade ruling. This does not end abortion but it takes policy to the state level rather than keeping it in the hands of fallen Catholics like Biden and Pelosi and others who used to say that it should be safe, legal and rare. 

Now it's obvious they've been lying to us and want abortion to be used as birth control.

The Pima County Democratic Party tweeted about an event they called "Fuck the Fourth." [Sorry about spelling the word out completely but I want you to feel the impact as they meant it to be. Imagine, people calling themselves Americans who act this way because they are now 'abortion-inconvenienced.']

The event was being hosted by Tucson's Women's March and promoted by the Pima County Democratic Party on Twitter. The tweet has since been deleted after they realized how it would hurt them in the polls.

"F--k the Fourth. See you at Reid Park," the tweet stated. "Bring comfortable shoes, water, lawn chairs, posters, and your anger," the event description reads.

"This July4th won’t be the same, it will be a solemn occasion. We have lost rights," one retweet incorrectly states. 

The only abortion rights lost were those of the federal government, by handing them back to the states. Now the people in red states, whose majority is against carte blanche abortion, can democratically decide abortion policy and blue states who believe abortion should be allowed right up until the time of birth or beyond, can do the same. That's how a republic works.

"I will not celebrate a country that doesn't recognize my rights to my own body," states another idiot who believes the life inside her is her body.

The event from the Tucson Women's March was planned following the Supreme Court's reversal of Roe v. Wade on June 24.

Karrin Taylor Robson, a Republican candidate for governor in Arizona, tweeted in response to the event that "This sickens me," adding the event is an example of "the modern Democrat Party in a single tweet."

"There it is - the modern Democrat Party in a single tweet. Arizona patriots will gather w/ friends/family on Independence Day to celebrate our nation’s birth & honor those who sacrificed for our freedom. But these Democrats will be doing something very different. Shameful," Robson said.

AZ son kills dad over grocery bill dispute

An Arizona father was stabbed to death by his adult son for refusing to pay for the son's grocery bills. The incident happened on April 1st in the early morning.

A concerned witness reported to the Mesa police that the victim hadn't returned home after going to meet with his schizophrenic son on Thursday afternoon to take him grocery shopping, as stated in court records and obtained by Arizona's Family. The documents stated the suspect, Jason T. Jeschor, 43, suffered from schizophrenia and hadn't taken his psychotropic medication.

When cops arrived on the scene they discovered Jeschor with a knife on his waistband which was immediately confiscated. He informed the police that his father wasn't 'doing well' but soon admitted that he murdered him, proving his claim to be true.

He told police that while shopping for groceries, his credit card was declined and his father refused to pay for his groceries. He admitted that when they returned to the apartment, he stabbed his dad with a homemade "spear-like object," and had also stabbed him in the neck with a switchblade knife--the one police had confiscated when they arrived.

Jeschor had the wherewithal to clean his father's blood from the floor and moved the body, so the schizophrenia diagnosis doesn't seem to be relevant as he knew what he had done was wrong. But in spite of this, court documents indicate that Jeschor believes killing his father was justified and didn't feel any remorse.

Dem. AZ state senator accused of sexual conduct with a minor [i.e. a child]

Phoenix, AZ -- Unable to grow a substantial beard and mustache himeself, Democratic Arizona state Senator Tony Navarrete has been arrested on charges accusing him of sexual contact with a minor, according to police on Friday.

Cops obtained a report mid-week about sexual contact that was alleged to have occurred in 2019. The senator was arrested Thursday after detectives interviewed a child victim and witnesses, the police statement reads.

Navarrete, 35, was booked into jail on suspicion of charges that included multiple counts of sexual conduct with a minor, the statement said. [H/T Associated Press]

The Democrat did not immediately respond to outreach from the media. He is expected to make an initial court appearance today, Friday.

A police department spokesman did not provide additional information in order to avoid drawing attention to the case "for the sake of the victim" [and the Arizona Democratic Party].

Navarrete announced earlier this week that he had tested positive for COVID-19 and was experiencing minor symptoms while isolating at home. It's possible he wasn't actually experiencing covid symptoms, but simply a case of the "willies" knowing he may be going to prison.

Senate Democrats said in a statement they were “deeply disturbed” by Navarrete’s arrest and that they stand behind all survivors of sexual assault and BS like that. See, it really depends on the status of the accused. If it's a high-ranking Democrat, they will hope it just blows over like it did for Democratic Virginia Governor Ralph Northam after getting caught in either black face or a KKK outfit in his college yearbook photo.

“These allegations and (the) arrest are serious and deeply troubling. Right now, it’s important for due process to take place through our judicial system,” the statement said, leaving out the "Believe All Women" hashtag. But come to think of it, we don't even know whether the alleged victim was a boy or a girl.

Republican Sen. Kelly Townsend said on Twitter she took the position that Navarrete was innocent unless proven guilty, because that's the way the rule of law is supposed to work in this country, contrary to what the Left would have you believe.

“However, if it’s true, then I don’t ever want to lay eyes on you again, @NavarreteA,” Townsend said in her tweet.

U.S. Border Patrol arrest 11 Iranian nationals at US-Mexico border

Eleven Iranian nationals were arrested by U.S. Border Patrol agents at the border with Mexico were illegal aliens are pouring in faster than maple syrup on Michael Moore's pancakes. The arrests took place on a bridge near San Luis, Arizona. [H/T Daily Mail]

"There were five women, ages 28, 30, 35, 35 and 37, who were arrested," KPNX reported. "Four men, ages 24, 31, 36 and 43, were taken into custody along with two boys, ages 10 and 2. These people had previously lived in Iran."

None of the young men were armed nor were they wearing suicide vests.

A U.S. Customs and Border Protection spokesperson told the outlet that they didn't know why the group was attempting to illegally enter the United States and the group hasn't yet been fully processed and interviewed They are now at Yuma Station for this processing.

"Yuma Sector agents regularly encounter people from all over the world, including Special Interest Countries," the USCBP statement explained. "Agents adjudicate each arrest in accordance with law and policy in order to secure our nation's borders."

Under the Biden administration this very well might change and anyone will be allowed into the U.S. with full benefits and a Covid vaccine. Meanwhile, as the crowd flows in, they have not been vaccinated as far as we can know.

In the 2021 fiscal year, Yuma Sector agents have apprehended 14 nationals from Iran. In 2020, eight Iranians were arrested by Yuma Sector agents. In all cases, no Iranians were carrying weapons.

Border Patrol Chief Dave Aguilar classified the group as coming from a "special interest country." He defined "special interest countries" as "basically countries designated by our intelligence community as countries that could export individuals that could bring harm to our country in the way of terrorism."

The Department of Homeland Security describes "special interest aliens" as "non-U.S. person who, based on an analysis of travel patterns, potentially poses a national security risk to the United States or its interests. Often such individuals or groups are employing travel patterns known or evaluated to possibly have a nexus to terrorism."

The DHS encountered more than 3,000 special interest aliens at the southern Border in 2018, but with the results of the 2020 election, we can expect more to come and even be welcomed with open arms.

Last week, the Daily Mail reported: "U.S. Border Patrol agents reported a 436 percent increase in migrants apprehended in so-called stash houses near Laredo, Texas since October when compared to the same time last year. The stash houses at the Texas-Mexico border are operated by human trafficking organizations to hide undocumented immigrants."

So, if America is so racist, sexist and homophobic, why are these people risking life and limb to get in?

Mark Kelly disciplines staffer who called cops "worthless f***ing pigs"

Mark Kelly disagrees with his spokescretin's characterization of police officers as "worthless fu**ing pigs" after the Washington Free Beacon reported on the staffer's disgusting comments.

According to Kelly's campaign for the Arizona Senate, they have taken "appropriate action" to deal with the verbal excrement by TJ L'Heureux, Kelly's deputy press secretary. The campaign describes L'Heureux as a "junior staffer," others describe him as a freaking scumwafer. The junior staffer also apologized for his words, calling them "wrong."

That isn't much of an apology--blaming the words rather than blaming himself for saying such words externalizes the blame when it should be internalized. L'Heureux isn't sorry, that I'm sure.

Kelly and his crew likely don't care that he said the words, however, they care that the public discovered that he did, and that might hurt his chances of winning his senate election. 

"Our campaign values the public service, bravery and sacrifice of police officers across our nation," Kelly’s press secretary Jacob Peters claimed. "The tweet posted by a junior staff member is unacceptable and we are taking the appropriate action," he told the Arizona Republic.

Peters claimed the campaign was not aware of their staffer's comments until the Free Beacon article was published on Thursday. The Free Beacon had reached out to Peters for comment on Wednesday afternoon, prior to publication, and received no response.

Kelly, whose parents are retired cops, posed as a moderate on criminal justice issues in his race against the Republican incumbent, Sen. Martha McSally. He claims he doesn’t support the "defund the police" movement, popular with leftists,  but he believes that there is systemic racism in the law enforcement system, which his parents evidently participated in. 

On Aug. 17, L’Heureux directed a tweet to the Chicago PD: "You worthless fucking pigs" and linked it to a video showing Chicago cops clashing with anti-police demonstrators. The following week, L'Heureux officially began working for Kelly's campaign.

"I deeply regret my comment and apologize for what I wrote—I was wrong," L'Heureux said in a statement published by the Arizona Republic on Thursday. "My comment does not reflect who I am or what I believe, and most importantly, it is not representative of what this campaign stands for. The language I used and the sentiment I conveyed do not belong in our political process, which is why I have deleted the tweet."

Of course he was trying to save his job.

Joe Clure, the executive director of the Arizona Police Association, a trade association for state law enforcement entities, called L’Heureux’s statement "frankly disgusting."

"It sadly isn’t the first time I’ve seen this from Democratic campaign personnel," Clure told the Free Beacon. "I hope that [Kelly] fires [the staffer] immediately to show that he doesn’t condone this kind of attitude that police are ‘fucking worthless.’"

We are still waiting for his next move.

Shootout in Arizona leaves 2 FBI agents wounded, suspect found dead

Two FBI special agents were serving a search warrant on an alleged serial bank robber at around 6 a.m. and were shot in the process at the scumcrumpet's home in Mesa, Arizona.

The suspect, Abraham Rivera, 49, was found deader than a doornail inside the home, according to FOX 10 in Phoenix.

"Come out with your hands up!" one of the agents could be heard yelling to the suspect on cell phone video of the incident, the outlet reported. "This is the FBI. We have a warrant."

That's when the gunfire started.

One agent was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries and has since been released and the other agent was treated for minor wounds at the scene, KPHO-TV of Phoenix reported.

"The FBI guy was down," witness Michael Scott [not to be confused with Michael Scott from "The Office"] told FOX 10. "He took off his jacket. He was all right. I think it went through his vest. He was bleeding."

So was he "all right?" Bleeding isn't usually associated with being all right.

The suspect, Rivera,  was accused in at least four bank robberies at three banks in the state since last year. According to Alexandria Obviously-Comatose, he just needed money to buy bread and Trump.

The circumstances of Rivera's death were not immediately confirmed but he definitely wasn't "all right."

Ex-teacher gets 20 year sentence for sex with student

Arizona -- a former teacher was sentenced to 20 years in con college for schtupping one of her students, a 13-year-old boy.

Brittany Zamora's sentence is the minimum doled out for the crime, and it drew international attention, The Arizona Republic reported.

The not so charming ex-teacher was accused of performing sexual acts on a 13-year-old boy.

"I am a good and genuine person who made a mistake and regret it deeply," Zamora told the court in Maricopa County before sentencing, according to the paper. "I lived my life respecting and trying to obey every law. I'm not a threat to society by any means."

She is definitely genuine, if doing your own sick thing is genuine. A mistake is getting your addition or subtraction wrong, or to be wrong about a judgment. But having sex with a child isn't a mistake, it's a crime and she knew it when she was engaging in it.

She apologized to the victims of her actions, their kin and her own relatives, saying it was "[my] bad." She told the judge that her actions were out of character and said she'd like to attend counseling, because that is the answer to everything.

 She also said she wants to earn a new degree in prison so she can start another career when she is free once more. She is considering gender studies, sex education or lesbian dance theory, but isn't sure which one she will undertake. But she knows she will have time on her hands, unless she becomes someone's bitch.

The parents of the boy found out the married Zamora was having sex with their son after they began monitoring his phone with an app.

Zamora taught sixth-grade students at Las Brisas Academy in Goodyear. She was arrested in March 2018 and pleaded guilty last month to charges of sexual conduct with a minor, attempted molestation of a child and public sexual indecency.

On one occasion, Zamora asked an 11-year-old boy who was a friend of the 13-year-old to stand watch during an encounter in her classroom, the paper reported.

Now that is what is known as a mistake.

"Ms. Zamora lures these boys, earns their trust and then takes advantage of them purely to fill her own sexual desires," the mother of the boy who was asked to serve as a lookout said in court, the paper reported. "She used her position of power to molest a child.

"She's a pedophile and no different than if a man were sitting in her place right now."

The victim's mother said she hated Zamora for what she'd done to her child.

Zamora has been behind bars since her arrest and will get credit for time served. She wanted to know if there was anything she could do to earn extra credit but the judge refused to grant it.

Arizona POS arrested for road-rage shootings leaving girl, 10 dead

Phoenix, Arizona -- An Arizona "man" has been charged with the murder of a 10-year-old girl after a road rage incident.

Sgt. Vince Lewis from the Phoenix Police Department said at a press conference Friday that 20-year-old Joshua Gonzalez had been booked and charged with first-degree murder in the killing of Summerbell Brown [seen pictured above.]

According to police, it was a community tipster who led law enforcement to look at Gonzalez, whom Lewis described as having an extensive criminal history riddled with violence.

On Wednesday at 5:45 p.m. Phoenix police responded to calls of a shooting at a residence near 3800 W. Moreland St. They found the Brown family inside a vehicle in the driveway of the home with two of the four passengers suffering from gunshot wounds.

Sgt. Lewis said that investigators discovered the Brown family had been involved in a road-rage incident just prior to the shooting, during which their car allegedly cut off a white pickup belonging to Gonzalez not far from their home.

Police say Gonzalez reportedly followed the family home and was confronted by Summerbell’s father, Dharquintium Brown.

That’s when police say Gonzalez fired his illegal  handgun, striking the vehicle several times before taking off.

Summerbell, who had been sleeping in the back seat, was critically wounded and was transported to an area hospital with her father who was also struck. Unfortunately, she was pronounced dead soon after, and Brown was treated for injuries and later released.

Sgt. Lewis said that tips connected to a composite sketch and an image of Gonzalez’s truck are what ultimately led to his arrest.

“Police investigators identified the truck as the same vehicle used in the crime, even after modifications were actively made to change the vehicle's appearance.”

Sgt. Lewis said the wheels and tires of Gonzalez's truck had been changed. Police obtained a search warrant and found the gun used in the shooting inside Gonzalez’s garage.

In addition to the first degree murder charge, Gonzalez was charged with three counts of aggravated assault and is being held on one million dollars bond.
