Missouri man who abducted and killed a 6-year-old gets put to death

As previously reported, the Missouri man who abducted a six-year-old girl in 2002, lured her to an abandoned factory where he tried to sexually assault her but beat her and bashed her to death with a brick and heavy rock when she fought back, received what he had coming for 21 years.

Johnny Johnson, 45, was put to death Tuesday evening, shortly after the U.S. Supreme Court rejected a request to block the execution over claims he was mentally incompetent.

Of course, he wasn't so mentally incompetent when he tried to hide little Casey Williamson's body at the time of the murder.

Johnson received a lethal injection of pentobarbital in a state prison in Bonne Terre and was pronounced dead at 6:33 p.m. CDT, according to prison authorities. He was convicted of killing the child in 2002 in the St. Louis suburb of Valley Park.

Johnson, who had been diagnosed with schizophrenia, expressed remorse in a brief handwritten statement released by the Department of Corrections hours before being executed.

AZ son kills dad over grocery bill dispute

An Arizona father was stabbed to death by his adult son for refusing to pay for the son's grocery bills. The incident happened on April 1st in the early morning.

A concerned witness reported to the Mesa police that the victim hadn't returned home after going to meet with his schizophrenic son on Thursday afternoon to take him grocery shopping, as stated in court records and obtained by Arizona's Family. The documents stated the suspect, Jason T. Jeschor, 43, suffered from schizophrenia and hadn't taken his psychotropic medication.

When cops arrived on the scene they discovered Jeschor with a knife on his waistband which was immediately confiscated. He informed the police that his father wasn't 'doing well' but soon admitted that he murdered him, proving his claim to be true.

He told police that while shopping for groceries, his credit card was declined and his father refused to pay for his groceries. He admitted that when they returned to the apartment, he stabbed his dad with a homemade "spear-like object," and had also stabbed him in the neck with a switchblade knife--the one police had confiscated when they arrived.

Jeschor had the wherewithal to clean his father's blood from the floor and moved the body, so the schizophrenia diagnosis doesn't seem to be relevant as he knew what he had done was wrong. But in spite of this, court documents indicate that Jeschor believes killing his father was justified and didn't feel any remorse.

Florida genius crashes van into church, sets it on fire with parishioners inside

A young man from Florida was arrested Sunday and is facing attempted murder charges after intentionally plowing his van into a Catholic church and then setting the building on fire while the faithful were inside preparing for Mass, officials said.

The Marion County Sheriff's Office said the accused, Steven A. Shields, 24, crashed his van through the front doors of Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Ocala, FL. 

Shields got out, poured gasoline in the foyer area and set it on fire, authorities said. The incident occurred around 7:30 a.m.

He then drove off but was spotted by Deputy Josue Gonzalez, who stopped the vehicle by hitting it with his patrol car, the sheriff's office said.

Thankfully, no parishioners were injured and Marion County firefighters quickly put out the blaze.

“Our freedom of worship granted in the Constitution is a freedom that we all hold dear," Sheriff Billy Woods said in a statement. "My deputies and I are sworn to protect that right and will always ensure our citizens can worship in peace. I’m proud of my deputies for capturing this man so quickly and we appreciate the assistance from all of the state and federal agencies that worked alongside of us during this investigation.”

According to an arrest affidavit obtained by the Ocala Star-Banner, Shields told investigators what he did was "awesome" and smiled and laughed while admitting to setting the church ablaze.

Shields, who referred to himself as "king" but looks more like a queen with a goatee, claimed to be on a "mission." He told a detective he has problems with the Catholic Church, according to the affidavit, and I think we should believe him.

Shields, who lives in nearby Dunnellon, also said he has been diagnosed with schizophrenia and is not taking his medication, the Star-Banner reported, and I think we should believe the diagnosis.

Shields is facing multiple charges, including attempted second-degree murder, arson, burglary and attempting to elude. He is being held in the Marion County Jail where he shares a cell with a unicorn and a talking rabbit.

The church foyer was heavily damaged, but Mass was still celebrated Saturday evening in the parish hall, according to the Star-Banner.

Jill Janus kills herself at 43

Jill Janus, a mentally ill singer, killed herself at the age of 43. Many of the outlets telling the story appear to make her suicide sound sort of tragically romantic. Believe me, suicide is anything but romantic, even for Romeo and Juliet.

Janus was the front woman of Huntress, a heavy-metal group who put out songs with titles such as: "I Want To F**k You To Death," "Night Rape," and "Terror," to name a few. Janus formed the band in 2009 in Los Angeles.

Janus' body was found outside Portland, Oregon, after a long struggle with mental illness, according to her family and the band. She was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, both quite serious disorders.

The news broke through a statement by her publicist, Alexandra Greenberg, from relatives and her bandmates.

"I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder first, when I was 20. I started to show signs of it when I was 13, though, and I struggled with it through high school. But it started to get dangerous in my early teens," she reported. "I was suicidal constantly. I was very suicidal early on in my life. Then in my mid-twenties, it shifted to full-blown mania, where I can't really remember much of my twenties."

The way in which she killed herself was not revealed publicly. Perhaps her schizophrenia had an auditory hallucination component that told her to kill herself--we don't know, and perhaps we'll never know.

But it wasn't tragically romantic and I hope the usual hoard of copy-cats see it that way too.

Alleged Ft. Lauderdale airport shooter had guns confiscated twice

Esteban Santiago, the accused Florida airport gunman had his guns seized twice by authorities before he went on his Jan. 6 rampage in which he killed five and wounded six people at Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.

Over four years ago, Santiago, 26, had a gun taken by Penuelas police in Puerto Rico and again more recently. In the PR incident, the reason for the confiscation wasn't made clear, and most likely was due to a complaint. 

But on both occasions investigations were closed and his guns were returned to him in 2014 after a two year investigation. 

Shortly after his guns were returned to him, he moved to Anchorage when in November of last year, he walked into an FBI office and reportedly told authorities that ISIS was influencing him and the government was attempting to control his mind by forcing him to watch ISIS videos.

His guns were again confiscated, this time by federal agents. He was given a mental health evaluation but was evidently deemed not to be a danger to himself or others and doctors believed he didn't need to be committed.

So Santiago was released and his gun returned to him on December 8th. So on January 6th, he was armed when he walked into the airport and began shooting. Whether or not the gun he used was the same that was returned is a moot point. He was allowed to have a gun, and the one he used was a Walther 9mm semi-automatic handgun.

Judging from what is known about Santiago, it's probable that he was influenced by ISIS but is also mentally ill. I would bet he suffers from schizophrenia but that needs to be determined. He appears to be eligible for the death penalty, but may get life in a mental institution if authorities see it the way I do at this time.

I am a strong Second Amendment advocate, but I also believe there needs to be better mental health screening as well as enforcement of gun laws. This guy should have been a red flag for anyone in law enforcement.

Ft. Lauderdale Airport shooter grilled for hours

Esteban Santiago has been identified as the shooter in the Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport in the Friday murders of 5 and wounding of 8 people. It was learned that Santiago visited the FBI Anchorage office in November and told them he was being forced to watch ISIS videos. He believed US intelligence had infiltrated his mind and were forcing him to watch the propaganda videos.

According to sources, Santiago seemed agitated and incoherent during that interview, and it seemed obvious that he was suffering from a mental disorder. But not severe enough, evidently, to prohibit him from taking a gun along with him for the flight from Alaska to Florida.

After the November contact, the FBI called local authorities who took custody of him and brought him to a local hospital "for a welfare check."

According to his brother, he had been receiving psychological treatment, but it isn't clear if he was receiving anti-psychotic medication(s) for his schizophrenia, are just a good talking to.

The sources said that the November incident prompted the FBI to open an investigation on him that led to family interviews, database checks and an interagency interview. It was believed (by James Comey) that there wasn't enough credible information to commit Santiago or indict him for anything because no prosecutor would go forward with the case.

Yet, in recent years, Santiago had a series of incidents with the law. 

Not quite one year ago, he was charged with fourth degree assault and damage of property in Anchorage where he lived from 2014 to 2016. (The fact that he never wore a winter coat should have alerted authorities, but that's another story.) One of the charges was dismissed by the local prosecutor two months later.

One of the charges may have been related to domestic violence but the case was resolved after Santiago agreed to enter an agreement of deferred prosecution. The charges were dismissed by the state prosecutor in exchange for completion of requirements.

Santiago served in the Puerto Rico National Guard and the Army Reserves prior to serving in the Alaska Army National Guard and was honorably discharged four months ago from his last post at Fort Greely, Arkansas as a Private First Class. He served 2 years in Iraq after which he started acting strangely, according to an aunt in Hudson County, NJ.

Santiago has a concealed carry permit and properly checked in his weapon prior to boarding--he evidently didn't want to get into any trouble. Maybe his becoming a dad this year cooled his jets until he landed in one in Florida today.

So did Esteban Santiago think he was somehow fighting for ISIS?

Santiago is behind bars and faces federal charges, the FBI announced Saturday. The official charges will be announced later in the day. The Special Agent in the case is George Piro who said that the suspect was questioned for hours and they have looked into his social media footprint and where he has traveled in the past.

Terrorism may have been a "potential motivation" for the attack, Piro said, and the FBI hasn't ruled anything out. "The indications are he came here to carry out this horrific attack," Piro said.

Santiago was not on any no-fly list, according to the FBI. Just because he approached them in Anchorage and told them an intelligence agency made him watch ISIS videos is no reason to put him on any no-fly list.

The suspect used a 9 mm semi-automatic handgun in the attack, Piro said. (I'm guessing Glock.)

One update has been made thus far: Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel said that 6 people, not 8, were wounded as originally reported. Three were in ICU and three were in good condition.

Santiago has a history of mental health problems, some of which came after he served in Iraq. He was receiving psychological treatment in Alaska, but nothing, it seems, was enough to put him on a no-fly list, and nobody worried that he took along a gun in his suitcase.

But I bet they checked his shampoo bottle and shoes.

Who or what murdered those 9 innocent Americans?

At what point is it going to take the American public to come together and realize that politics is not only dividing us as a country, but is a form of schizophrenia that would make a Martian scratch his six heads in confusion?

An obvious mentally deranged 21-year-old racist sat with his victims for an hour, spoke with them, accepted their Christian hospitality, and then methodically shot them, reloading several times in this horrific act.

Before Roof began shooting, a parishioner confronted him and attempted to calm him. According to Syvia Stevenson Johnson, cousin of the slain pastor, Rev. Clementa Pinckney, Roof allegedly shouted: "No. You've raped our women and you've stolen and you've taken over the country, so no, this must be done."

Still, there are many liberals who don't blame the shooter; they blame the gun. Some blame the Confederate flag for the killing of 9 African-American Bible study attendees. 

It's a form of schizophrenia suffered by the left that has gone undiagnosed since Obama took the White House and made the office of the president "too cool for school."

Objects don't "do" and thus cannot be assigned blame for the act of a human hand. Guns, knives, ice picks, scissors, hammers, and swords are tools that can serve a good or bad purpose but that fully depends on the human being using it. Hell, even icicles can kill, so maybe liberals should embrace global warming and save the lives of the innocent victims whose killers saw the Alfred Hitchcock movie where an icicle was used as the murder weapon and the evidence was destroyed by melting.

But no matter what happens, liberals will try to "never let a good crisis go to waste," as Winston Churchill said and Rahm Emmanuel repeated.

Before the first African-American victim was laid to rest, Obama blamed gun control. In other words, he blamed the gun for the massacre. Somehow he believes that if there were even more strict gun control laws, Dylann Roof would have complied with it and wouldn't have broken the law. (I think I just heard a 6-headed Martian laugh.)

But the most serious schizophrenic reaction, if one is to take the purveyor of this crap seriously, is the article by Ta-Nehisi Coates article in The Atlantic. It's the liberal way of blaming the racist shooting on all white people, not merely Roof.

"Coates' military utility cap has killed more innocent victims than ISIS"

The article focuses on the South Carolina statehouse where the Confederate flag flies. Coates writes:

The Confederate flag's defenders often claim it represents "heritage not hate." I agree--the heritage of White Supremacy was not so much birthed by hate as by the impulse toward plunder. Dylann Roof plundered nine different bodies last night, plundering nine different families of an original member, plundered nine different communities of a singular member. An entire people are poorer for his action. The flag that Roof embraced, which many South Carolinians embrace, does not stand in opposition to this act--it endorses it. That the Confederate flag is the symbol of white supremacists is evidenced by the very words of those who birthed it.

Our new government is founded upon exactly the opposite idea; its foundations are laid, its corner-stone rests upon the great truth that the negro is not equal to the white man; that slavery subordination to the superior race is his natural and normal condition. This, our new government, is the first, in the history of the world, based upon this great physical, philosophical, and moral truth . . . 

And Coates blathers on about how Roof honored the flag with his sacrifice--which he chickened out of at the end. Coates assumes that Roof is even aware of Confederate history and has the cerebral synapses to symbolically express it in his crazed actions. 

Roof has the mental capacity of a wall. He clearly is a racist and he clearly hates the successes of the African-American community. But to blame a flag? That is sooo MSNBC. 

We still have racism in our country--there is no doubt about that because racism is part of the human condition, albeit the exception, rather than the rule. The race hustlers, like Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson stand to gain by bringing race into the equation of every interaction between blacks and whites. President Obama uses race for political gain. 

Mr. Coates should know better than to blame a flag.

But maybe Coates does know better and simply has the need to express his own hatred for white Americans. Or maybe he's just out trying to make a buck off his copious vocabulary and racist Sharptongue.

Barack Obama: the Schizophrenogenic POTUS

An American psychiatrist, Theodore Lidz, was famous amongst his peers of boring psychoanalytic pedants for his theory on the schizophrenogenic mother. It also had a pretty nice ring to it and probably should have been put to music like the Deauxville Trio did with the Ballad of Sigmund Freud (check YouTube--I bet it's there). 

Anyway, Lidz theorized that kids can be made schizophrenic through the mother's "crazy-making" behaviors. Nowadays we're a lot more sophisticated and we know that it's the kids who make the parents crazy. Just kidding. But let's just say the theory is correct, and mothers have the power to do that to their kids. If so, then I believe it's safe to say that President Obama is the Schizophrenogenic Mother of Our Nation. But the kids, in this case, are not the whole population, just the liberals. I say this confidently because it's obvious that liberals are politically schizophrenic.

Example One: Obama says that sequestration was the idea of the GOP. Liberals have no doubts of this in spite of the actual words of the president. Again, a YouTube research will bear this out in his 2011 yadda yadda speeches.

Example Two: He has liberals convinced that Joe Biden is our Vice President. Of course this is true in his title, but when you hear some of the stuff that comes out of Joe's mouth, you wonder if he's so confused that he's actually breathing through his butt. "I tell my wife to fire two shotgun blasts in the air and that will scare off any intruder." Not quite, Joe. First it will land your wife in prison for discharging a firearm where you live, and secondly, noise doesn't work as well as an AK15 with 30 rounds at your disposal, because once she's shot her load, the bad guys might have a few good laughs before they get what they want from her. Idiot.

Example Three: After his first term of blaming GW Bush for all the woes of our nation, his second term has become even more woeful and the debt is now on its way to $17 trillion, and Obama has liberals convinced we don't have a spending problem and the debt isn't such a big deal. Barry, it takes about half a million YEARS to count that high, brah. Wait--brah is probably viewed as racist because anything anyone says from the opposing party of yours is looked at that way. We can't evaluate you because you're black and if we do, we're racist. Well, brah, it seems a hell of a lot more racist to believe that black people need slack to be given to them with their evaluations.

Example Four: He has liberals convinced that it's okay to kill babies in the womb and even kill them if they're "partial birth" babies--even if the baby is a girl, then he says he believes in a woman's right to decide. What he's also saying, and what liberals believe, is that women also have the right to decide the fate of another life.

Example Five: Gun control laws are not only ineffective, but they're allowing criminals to commit crimes without fear of reprisal from their victims. It's a simple fact that in areas where conceal carry permits exist, gun crimes are significantly lower than in no gun carry zones. But Obama has liberals convinced that it's the guns that are the problem, not the killers. It's akin to blaming terrorism as the problem rather than the terrorists. And they tend to be very religious young men.

Example Six: He has liberals convinced that printing more money, and spending it, will help the economy, not hurt it. This idea also gives credence to the liberal belief that Obama is the smartest guy in the room. That can only be true when he is the only guy in the room.

So yes, we will continue to endure more Solyndras and more Fast and Furious cover ups. But let us never, never, forget Benghazi and the men who died there. Somehow I suspect liberals don't see that as anyone's fault except, perhaps, Bush. Obama is the Schizophrenogenic POTUS because he has made the liberals as crazy in their thinking as a New York mayor at a Cola convention.
