Bar-Ilan University bars student wearing niqab from campus

Bar-Ilan University in Israel just dropped the hammer on a student who decided to show up on campus wearing a niqab, the full-body-and-face covering some Muslim women wear, leaving only the eyes visible. The university’s not having it, citing a policy that demands faces stay visible for “pedagogical, security, and administrative” reasons. In other words, jihadi dudes have been known to dress this way to hide their identity, and several terrorists have been known to escape capture. For example, while it's an unverified claim, Yahya Sinwar evaded capture by wearing a burqa.

Apparently, this Arab Israeli student was fine with the rules at first but recently decided to go full niqab, prompting the school to bar her from campus.

The student’s response? She called the policy “persecution,” insisting she has the right to wear whatever she wants and that everyone else needs to “respect her choice.” If that's the case, then wouldn't she have the right to wear only her 'birthday suit?' I don't think so.

Respect, in her case, seems to mean “agree with me or else.” Sounds like a classic clash of individual expression versus institutional rules, with a side of cultural tension thrown in for good measure.

The university laid out its case in a letter from Professor Amnon Albeck, the rector, who didn’t mince words: “I received your request to wear the niqab in classes and around campus. I understand that you are doing so now, despite the fact that at the beginning of the year, after a discussion on the subject with Mr. Rafaat Sweidan, academic adviser for Arab society, it was made clear to you that this is not acceptable on campus.” Translation: You knew the deal, and you’re breaking it.

Bar-Ilan’s not banning religious expression entirely—hijabs, the headscarves many Muslim women wear, are fine. But the niqab, with its near-total face coverage, crosses a line. The university’s statement to JNS doubled down: “Bar-Ilan University respects every individual, including their right to observe their religion and customs, and extends this respect to all students. However, in accordance with university policy, all students are required to keep their faces visible while on campus—during classes, in open areas and as part of academic activities.” They added that the rule was explained upfront, and the student complied for months before switching gears.

Why the hard line? The university says it’s about “open interaction, personal identification, and the safety of all students.” It makes sense. Just try running a classroom or ensuring campus security when you can’t tell who’s who. This isn’t France, where they’ve banned niqabs in public and religious symbols in schools altogether, citing their secular utopia.

Israel’s approach here seems more pragmatic: express yourself, but don’t hide your face.

Still, the student’s cry of “persecution” raises eyebrows. Is it persecution to enforce a rule everyone’s expected to follow, or is this a case of someone demanding special treatment under the guise of rights?

The university’s holding firm, arguing that education and security trump individual fashion choices and it seems to me a reasonable rule that everyone needs to adhere to, even those using clothing jihad.Rafaat.

Algeria is latest Islamic country to ban niqab and Muslims go ballistic

Leaders of Algeria have lit the outrage fuse by banning the niqab, the full-face veil that covers up a multitude of skins, at work.

Prime Minister Ahmed Ouayhia, a guy who likes to know who he's talking to on the job, revealed the move in a letter to political leaders in the Muslim-majority country, where the men are men and the women might be under that cloth.

The niqab is not as popular in the country as the hijab, the cloth that covers the head and neck but not the face.

There are as many opinions about the niqab as there are women [or possibly men] who wear them. Some women believe it's just the government's way of having greater control of as many aspects of a woman's life as possible, much like the Democrats do in the U.S.  with all 227 genders [as they see it].

According to Arabic newspaper Asham Al-Awsat, on Islamic MP described the ban as a "war on Islam," intimating that heads may roll.

The niqab enters Canadian nurseries

Toronto -- At a downtown YMCA pre-school, a childcare worker covered head to toe in a black cloth was observed by reporters. Only her hands and eyeglasses showed and those wrists looked as sexy as hell, making Muslim men swoon with desire.

It was a hot day and the odor coming from beneath the cloth coffin was covered up with a Middle East perfume know as "Night of the Niqab." It has the distinct odor of deep-fried falafel.

What's his name?
The federal minister of families, children and social development, Jean-Yves Duclos, gave a press conference on childcare policy. Prior to the presentation, Duclos sat down and played with the children for the cameras. As this was taking place, the worker in the niqab sat at another table with other kids and didn't interact with the minister.

Then the room was cleared of kids and their caretakers.

Afterward, the YMCA [the 'C' stands for 'Christian,' by the way] representative, Linda Cottes,  was  asked when did they start hiring women in niqabs. She said the "Y" has never excluded women wearing niqabs and added, "We are inclusive."

The Young Men's Christian Association of Greater Toronto's Egyptian-born Muslim, president and CEO Medhat Mahdy, said nursery school teachers are welcome to wear the full-face Islamic veil, or niqab, in spite of the fact that there is no requirement for Muslim women to wear the cloth coffin.

"A woman is allowed to wear the niqab if she chooses," he said in a statement released this week through his spokesperson. "We also perform stringent background checks for all our employees, student placements, and volunteers."

I bet they do.

But the "Y" still felt the need to justify the presence of the niqab clad person, who may or may not have been a female. Spokesperson Antoine Tedesco clarified the woman is a student placement worker, not an employee.
marrying age in Pakistan

He refused to answer more questions on the subject--questions such as: "What do the Christian and Jewish parents think about their child being tended to by a person they cannot pick out in a lineup?" or, "How are the student placement people and employees vetted?"

But the actual questions Tedesco refused to answer were, in part: How many staff members wear the niqab, and what is Medhat Mahdy's religious background.

His response to this by Tedesco on behalf of Mahdy was: "People [at the "Y"] are free to dress and express themselves as they see fit, as long as it does not threaten or infringe on the rights of others."

Spokes dhimmie Heather Irwin of the Ontario Ministry of Education said teachers and students are free to wear the niqab throughout the province's daycare centers and all publicly-funded educational institutions.

While this has become the trend in Canada, elsewhere in the world, including some Muslim-majority countries, leaders see the niqab as a symbol of female oppression and a sign of Islamic extremism. In fact, nowhere in the Quran is a woman directed to cover her face and entire body--that's a cultural phenomenon, not a religious one.

So Canada is bowing to Islamic extremist culture, when you really see it clearly.

In Holland, France, Germany, Britain, Denmark, China, Turkey, the Philippines, Syria, Tunisia and Egypt (where Mahdy's from) lawmakers have passed full or partial bans on the niqab in schools and elsewhere, or are in preparation stages of passing laws to do so.
Wanted by FBI: have you seen these men?

In Canada, Prime Minister Justin "Allahu Akbar" Trudeau, goes out of his way to support the niqab and everything Muslim in order to get the vote. There's even a rumor going around that he converted to the religion of peace.

"We need societies that recognize diversity as a source of strength," Trudeau told the World Economic Forum in Switzerland last year. And one of his first acts as PM, he allowed Pakistani immigrant Zunera Ishaq to wear his or her niqab while taking the Canadian citizenship oath after the outgoing Conservative government stopped him or her.

Ishaq works as a women's coordinator for the Islamist group, Islamic Circle of North America and he or she supports the Pakistani Muslim Brotherhood scum known as the Jamaat e-Islami.

And while the United States of America still has the U.S. Constitution and the First Amendment therein, Canada is moving to silence all forms of public criticism of Islam, which coincides with sharia law.

In August, Trudeau's Liberal [suicidal] government led a parliamentary motion to condemn religious discrimination and "Islamophobia," a word devised to shut down all criticism of Islamic ideology. The motion was introduced by Iqra Khalid, a Pakistani immigrant and Toronto-area MP and former president of the York University Muslim Students Association (MSA) that holds very close ties to terrorist groups such as the Muslim Brotherhood, has condemned Israel and calls for its annihilation, is anti-Semitic and attacked Jews on campuses all across North America, and has no sense of humor.

When opposition Conservatives asked Iqra to remove the term "Islamophobia" or explicitly condemn anti-Jewish and anti-Christian bigotry as well, she refused. She also refused to define "Islamophobia."

In July, Ontario province passed "anti-Islamophobia" balderdash with unanimous all-party support, proving once again, that politicians suck and are rarely, if ever, affected by the bills they sign into law.

Now no civic leader or politician dares to challenge the niqab or burka. It's kind of an Islamophobia-phobia.

Morocco bans the burka

In an effort to reduce crime, Morocco has banned the wearing of the traditional Islamic burka and niqab worn by religious Muslim women, and religious Muslim men who are willing to commit suicide to kill infidels and win their way into Paradise.

The burka also makes a great disguise--you cannot tell who's underneath. It can be a woman or a man with a plan.

So the country has banned the production and sale of the full-face veils for security reasons.

It has been reported that the ban was imposed due to reports felons have been using burkas to help carry out their crimes without being identified.

Burkas also make a lovely addition to both men and women with an affinity of self detonation in the name of Allah.

Most women in Morocco, whose King Mohammed VI (would you have guessed that name if I didn't tell you?) favors the hijab which doesn't cover the face, prefer that to a burka, a cloth coffin designed to discourage randy Muslim men from acting on their id impulses.

Moroccan fragrance scientists were the ones who invented the camel-inspired perfume Beneath the Burka. Sold mainly to Islamic State jihadists and the Taliban, it has become the number one perfume preferred by Islamic extremists, and it's potable.

Dutch vote to ban burqas, allow novelty nose, mustache eyeglasses

The Hague, Netherlands -- Dutch lawmakers on Wednesday fiercely debated a limited ban on face-covering head wear worn by what appears to be Muslim women but it really could go both ways.

The purpose of the head wear is to provide modesty for women who can be married by the age of 6 and be forced to have sex with their husbands, who may have as many as four wives and can dress any way they want.

One lawmaker who requested anonymity suggested that women who want to remain modest and chaste wear novelty nose, mustache and eyeglasses in Groucho Marx style. "It hides one's identity and it's always good for a laugh or two," he said, still wishing to remain anonymous.

The ban proposal would outlaw the veils in public places such as schools, hospitals and public transportation. It would also make sense to ban them in banks, where they make perfect disguises.

Only a few hundred Muslim women in the Netherlands are made to wear concealing niqabs (full-face burqas) but successive governments have continue to seek banning the garments as is done in Belgium and France.

Interior Minister Ronald Plasterk said the current proposal wasn't as stringent as those two countries and called the legislation "religion-neutral." However, he conceded that the debate about burqas being worn on Dutch streets has played a major role in the proposal.

Plasterk said that in a free country such as the Netherlands, people should be allowed to cover their faces in public if they want to, but in government buildings and in health and education settings such as hospitals and schools, people need to be able to look each other in the face.

I go back to banks in my argument.

The vote date is not known as yet and if Parliament's lower house passes the legislation, it must also be approved by the Senate before becoming [sharia] law.

A small group of either men or women or both, wearing full-face niqabs, watched the debate from the public gallery. Judging from their expressions was impossible.

Jaques Monasch, an independent lawmaker, called the burqa "a symbol of oppression of women," and stone wash blue jeans and shorts "what Muslim men wear if they want."

Banning niqab would mean banning Santa Claus

Germans are calling for a ban on wearing the niqab (Islamic face veil) in public places. In response to the demand, Ralf Jager, a German regional interior minister, said that doing so would also mean banning all religious clothing, including Santa Claus outfits.

Jager is the interior minister of North Rhine-Westphalia state, where Muslim migrant crime has been raging. His response was a counter to the remarks of federal interior minister, Thomas de Maiziere who previously stated, "We agree that we reject the burqa, we agree that we want to introduce a legal requirement to show one's face in places where it is necessary for our society's coexistence--at the wheel, at public offices, at the registry office, in schools and universities, in civil service, in court."

De Maiziere added that the niqab "does not belong in our cosmopolitan country. We want to show our faces to each other and that is why we agree that we reject this--the question is how we put this into law."

Chancellor Angela Merkel's Christian Union bloc has favored a full ban of the niqab in public which has been a cause of great debate in a nation that has a serious Islamic immigration and concomitant crime problem.

Jager said Maiziere's bloviating was merely political electioneering, and that a ban would not mean increased security.

Perhaps he's right about the security issue, but he's dead wrong about the niqab not being a problem. The notion that an indigenous society should bend to the cultural norms of immigrants newly entering that society, rather than the other way around, is not only wrong, it is culturally suicidal in the long run. It is acquiescing to Sharia (Islamic) law, that, once it is given any amount of credence, always demands more.

If immigrants refuse to integrate into the society in which they have landed, it is like a house guest refusing to abide by the house rules.

We can see plenty of examples in which Muslims have demanded special requests be met by their hosts. For example, the high school girls who refuse to take mandatory swimming classes when boys are in the pool at the same time. Or women athletes who demand to wear a head covering in sports that would make the situation dangerous. Or men's soccer that forbids women to attend the game.

The list goes on and on.

One must realize that Ralf Jager is a full-blown idiot who blamed the Cologne sex assaults last New Year's Eve on the police department, not on the Muslim immigrants who assaulted the scores of women.

On Jager, Breitbart reported that:
"[Jager] fired the chief of Cologne police, forcing him to take early retirement, in a move he said was to restore public faith in city policing. However, it was later revealed that police chief Wolfgang Albers had foreseen trouble for the night, and had appealed directly to Jager's Interior ministry for extra officers to help patrol the city. That request was turned down.
"Further revelations from a leaked cache of confidential emails between the state government and local police showed how the Interior ministry had attempted to cover up the attacks. One message showed 'a request from the ministry' that police reports were to 'cancel' the use of the word 'rape' when dealing with the events."
So perhaps Jager isn't really a full-blown idiot--maybe he's simply a full-blown progressive liberal who actually believes that he's doing the right thing, because he's better than those of us less humane individuals who believe that immigrants should go through legal channels when entering a country.

And once they go through the legal procedures of immigration,  it would be nice if they did the cultural adapting instead of the other way around.

Oh, and Santa Claus isn't really a religious figure--he is never mentioned in any religion. What would liberals want to ban next, the pine tree or the religious lights?

Kurdish and Arab women flee, then expose who they really are

June 7, 2015: Kurdish and Arab women who escaped ISIS held territory celebrate the freedom of being individual human beings and throw off their niqabs and black abayas as the cross the border. An abaya is a long, loose coat  that covers a woman's body, while a niqab covers the face. Islamic men have been known to lose control upon the sight of women's skin.

Journalists on the border were able to document the moment

ISIS, as you may know, are a religious group who believe that women who expose even an inch of their skin, are going against the religion of peace, and it is perfectly acceptable to kill them in an agonizing way by throwing stones at them as they are buried with only their heads exposed, or taking those heads and removing them from the body below.

Ah, but what can you do? It's their religion, even though some like Obama, Cameron and most other leaders in the West deny that ISIS is Islamic, it's all there in the good ole Koran.

But there's a "but." In Darna, Libya, the Islamic State (can't imagine where they got that name) has taken over and they made street announcements that women are now mandated to wear a veil that covers their face and to cover their [hot, alluring] hands. IS also announced that the women's "guardians," (an Islamic term used to denote any man who is not a woman and is related to the woman in any way) to prevent women from leaving the house wearing makeup.

They have also requested that all goats be kept out of the visual area of the ISIS jihadists lest they lose control.

The women in the city have one week to comply to these Koranic demands or be "severely punished." When ISIS "severely punishes" you, more often than not, you die a very painful death and are often used as a jihadist campfire.

Marshmallows, however, are un-Islamic.
