Virginia Ed Dept. tells teachers to avoid teaching about the Islamic extremism of 9/11

The Virginia Department of Education has become an oxymoron because it refuses to educate students on a particular topic that is relevant to understanding the motivation behind the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. The department hosted a speaker who instructed teachers to avoid talking about the role Islamic extremism played in the suicide attacks that took the lives of nearly 3,000 individuals.

The person who delivered the PowerPoint presentation by "Education Leadership scholar" Amaarah DeCuir, instructed to teachers to avoid using language that could [accurately] blame the events of 9/11 on Muslim extremists, people willing to die for Islam in order to forward this geopolitical religion. DeCuir pointed to the heightened anti-Muslim sentiment that allegedly increases around the anniversary of the Islamic terrorist attacks.

“School and classroom 9/11 commemorations are sites for increased anti-Muslim racism,” her presentation reads. “This year’s 20th anniversary commemorations will likely result in heightened risks of racist discourse, threats, and violence targeting Muslim students in schools and society. Educators are well-positioned to disrupt these risks by centering the socio-emotional needs of Muslims in their commemoration plans.”

DeCuir created a list of teaching standards that are “in” and “out,” according to her radical, anti-American viewpoints.

Teaching standards that are “in” include “acknowledgment of anti-Muslim racism.” Teaching standards that are “out” include the “false assumption of Muslim responsibility for 9/11” and “American exceptionalism.”

Of course, the truth is extremism and hatred for the West was and is the catalyst for terrorism, but DeCuir, with her twisted logic, would have us believe that the Muslims responsible for the attack were the victims of the event and the dead Americans were somehow responsible for their own fates. This is reminiscent of critical race theory which is both anti-American and racist.

The presentation gave examples of “harmful teaching” about 9/11. She gave examples that included “creating a tense classroom environment,” “reducing 9/11 instruction to death counts and fear mongering,” “assumptions of emotional distance,” “teaching about Islam and/or Muslims,” “amplifying the extremists and extremist acts of 9/11,” “demanding the condemnation of 9/11,” “failing to respond to anti-Muslim racism,” and “reproducing a single, American narrative that marginalizes other students.”

What happened twenty years ago this Saturday was tense and while the death counts in the three terrorist scenes was almost 3,000, it was only a fraction of what is known about that day. People trapped above the floors where the two planes hit had no chance of escape and many died jumping from the upper floors to escape the horrific heat--some held hands as they jumped together.

While it's said repeatedly, most Muslims are not terrorists, but all of the terrorists on 9/11 were Muslims, and all were performing Islamic jihad and were willing to die in order to practice this part of the religion of Islam. How can we not amplify the extremist acts of 9/11 when this ideology is still being practiced today, as it has been since Mohammad married a 6-year-old girl named Aisha?

And anti-Muslim "racism" isn't a thing because Islam isn't a race. But putting that aside, the larger problem isn't "islamophobia" [a term originally capitalized on by Muslim think tanks in order to shut the mouths of those people opposing the geopolitical side of Islam and its global jihad] the larger problem in the United States is anti-Semitism. In fact, it's on top of the hate crime list.

Even Democrats refuse to address the anti-Zionist/anti-Semitic rhetoric on Capitol Hill by such congresspeople as Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), Cori Bush (D-MO), and Ayanna Pressley (D-OH).

Below is the FBI's 2019 listing of religious hate crimes in the United States:
60.2 percent were victims of crimes motivated by offenders’ anti-Jewish bias.
13.2 percent were victims of anti-Islamic (Muslim) bias.
3.8 percent were victims of anti-Catholic bias.
3.8 percent were victims of anti-Other Christian bias.
3.5 percent were victims of anti-Sikh bias.
2.9 percent were victims of anti-Eastern Orthodox (Russian, Greek, Other) bias.
2.6 percent were victims of bias against groups of individuals of varying religions (anti-multiple religions, group).
1.4 percent were victims of anti-Protestant bias.
0.9 percent (15 individuals) were victims of anti-Mormon bias.
0.4 percent (7 individuals) were victims of anti-Jehovah’s Witness bias.
0.4 percent (7 individuals) were victims of anti-Hindu bias.
0.3 percent (6 individuals) were victims of anti-Atheist/Agnostic bias.
0.3 percent (5 individuals) were victims of anti-Buddhist bias.
6.3 percent were victims of bias against other religions (anti-other religion).
So while DeCuir tries to depict Muslims as the largest victim group of hate crimes, the numbers don't lie.

According to her biography from American University, DeCuir is an education scholar who “focuses on the intersections of leadership, gender, and diverse cultural contexts to advance social justice.” In a tweet about the event, she called on “antiracist” educators to join and “disrupt” the current education of 9/11.

The term 'antiracist' means 'racist.' The term 'disrupt' the current education of 9/11, means to 'withhold information in order to foster a false narrative. This again is perfectly aligned with critical race theory and is a danger to the country as it is designed to undermine our basic principles and freedoms.

DeCuir had previously thanked the Michigan-based Institute for Social Policy and Understanding (ISPU), a Muslim interest group endorsed by Rashida Tlaib, an anti-Semite and a Hamas supporter. DeCuir once tweeted:
“My work would not be possible without the amazing research from [ISPU]! Thank you for your support,”
Tlaib also endorses the organization for its "profound" work.

Virginia State Senator Steve Newman (R) condemned the bullcrap presentation and called on educators state-wide to teach “the facts.” What a concept.

“I lived through 9/11… This one event was due to Muslim extremists and their actions, the desire of these individuals to kill as many Americans as possible at one time. Why do we need to change history, again? Just tell the facts,” Newman said. “We have a responsibility to our children today to ensure they know the awful truth about the events of that day, and the evil intent behind the terrorists … We must teach the next generation the truth about our history.”

And lest we forget, it was Ilhan Omar who once dubbed the terrorism of 9/11 as “some people [that] did something.”

Hopefully your September 11, 2021 will be a day of reflection and a peaceful day overall.

I still remember the burnt office papers that ended up on my Brooklyn roof on that sunny Tuesday twenty years ago. And I learned a lot about the so-called 'religion of peace' afterward.

Fairfax PTA leader fired after saying "Let them die" referring to anti-CRT parents

A rather crazy official of the Virginia Parent-Teacher Association was recorded by a parent saying that opponents [parents] of critical race theory (CRT) should "die." In other words, if you don't let the PTA tell the 'Ps' in PTA what to teach their children, they ought to just die.

Seriously, this is some sick stuff.

Michelle Leete, the PTA's Vice President of Training, was recorded in a lunatic rant about parents who don't want to raise their children as comrades of the system.

"Today, the Virginia PTA executive committee requested and received the resignation of Michelle Leete, who served as Vice President of Training," a Saturday statement from the association reads.

"The actions & rhetoric of Ms. Leete & all of the like-minded partisan supporters of the SB are deeply disappointing. It evinces a deep lack of concern for children & parents, particularly where the wellbeing of children & families clash with political considerations," an accompanying tweet to the statement reads.

Leete was recorded at a Thursday rally blasting opponents of CRT and literally saying, "Let them die."

This is not about education; this is about Marxist ideology that has insidiously crept into the schools and the left is demanding that it be taught to our children.

In the video that has since gone viral, Leete can be heard saying:
"Let's deny this off-key band of people that are anti-education, anti-teacher, anti-equity, anti-history, anti-racial … anti-opportunities, anti-help people, anti-diversity, [inaudible], anti-science, anti-change agent, anti-social justice, anti-health care, anti-worker, anti-LGBTQ+, anti-children, anti-health care, anti-worker, anti-environment, anti-admissions policy change, anti-inclusion, anti-live and let live – let them die!"
The scariest part of the video is how the clueless parents cheered this communist on.

Her anti-everything comment was met with a round of applause from the audience gathered at Luther Jackson Middle School in Falls Church. Perhaps they believed that if they didn't applaud, they would be canceled from society.

"Don't let these uncomfortable people deter us from our own march forward," Leete, who is also Fairfax County’s NAACP vice president, said of parents who had a different view than hers and the National Socialist Party of America.

The Virginia PTA added in its statement that it did not condone her language and said the group "upholds values of respect, collaboration and accountability."

Until it no longer needs to pretend to uphold them.

"While not speaking in her role within Virginia PTA, we do not condone the choice of words used during a public event on Thursday, July 15," the statement reads.

The resignation comes as parents across the nation have gone viral in videos denouncing the critical race theory, including in Carmel, New York, where one informed mother, Tatiana Ibrahim, said in a video in June:
"My message to this district and the members of the Board of [Education]: Stop indoctrinating our children! Stop teaching our children to hate the police! Stop teaching our children that if they don't agree with the LGBT community that they're homophobic!"

But CRT goes beyond teaching this crap to kids--it teaches them to act--CRT is an activist ideology, not a passive teaching program. This is how community organizers are born, and some may even grow up to become president--heaven forbid.

Being Black and being an anti-White racist is now the accepted norm of the abnormal left

Lamont Hill and his quizzical "say what" face

Racist activist, race hustler and host of Black News Tonight Marc Lamont Hill asked Chris Rufo, the outspoken critic of the nonfactual divisive, anti-American, anti-White garbage known as "critical race theory," why school children should not be taught that "whiteness" is "all negative," and then pressed Rufo to name something he likes about "being white."

“What do you like about being white?” Hill asked Rufo, after stating that “whiteness” is a “marker of power.”

Rufo rejected the premise, noting that “whiteness” is “such an amorphous term, it’s like a census term.”

“You surely recognize that the world sees you as white, the world reads you as white,” Hill said, sounding like a true racist and noting that he likes the “culture norms” and “tradition” and other aspects of “being black.”

“If you’re saying whiteness is being constructed as negative and it shouldn’t be, name something positive that you like about being white,” Hill asked again.

Rufo again rejected the premise and pointed out progressive literature that’s being used in public schools which ascribes things like timeliness, objectivity, and rationality to being white. “These are very strange things to be ascribed to a racial identity,” he explained. “My view is that, actually, these things should be ascribed to every individual human being regardless of whatever racial category we impose on them.”

Lamont Hill was still unsatisfied. “That doesn’t answer the question,” he told Rufo, accusing him of setting up “straw men” to avoid the issue.

“If whiteness isn’t a negative thing, and there’s something that you actually — and whiteness actually shouldn’t be constructed as all negative, name something positive, that you believe is positive, about being white,” Lamont Hill told Rufo.

“Again,” Rufo refuted, “I don’t buy into the framework, that the world can be reduced into these metaphysical categories of whiteness and blackness. I think that’s wrong — I think we should look at people as individuals, I think we should celebrate different people’s accomplishments.”

“You mentioned [author Noel] Ignatiev,” Rufo continued. “Ignatiev says the goal is to ‘abolish the white race.’ In any other context, this would be interpreted as a near-genocidal slur. I don’t buy into it. The reason I’m not going to answer your question, is I reject that categorization. I think of myself as an individual human being with my own capabilities, and I would hope that we could both judge each other as individuals and come to common values on that basis.”

Lamont Hill closed the segment by saying schools “need” critical race theory so we can “expose whiteness,” listing off alleged systemic disadvantages black people in America are born into.

Now this is racist. All you need to do is interchange the races. Hill plays word games and Rufo is smart enough to not buy into it.

“What do you like about being White?” I asked this question to anti- Critical Race Theory advocate Christopher Rufo. He stated that Whiteness was always only painted as negative, so I asked him to offer something different. Peep his response: pic.twitter.com/H5IkAyv2Co

— Marc Lamont Hill (@marclamonthill) May 26, 2021

I replied to Hill:

Hill is a bright guy for a racist so I suspect he will have a snappy answer to these types of questions. But when you attack a group's immutable characteristics, you really are nothing more than a racist. And you might recall how black people were saying that blacks cannot be racist because of all the things they've been through. That was just their attempt at shutting you up.

I'll say it again: Marc Lamont Hill is a racist, like Al Sharpton is a racist, Louis Farrakhan, Robert Byrd, George Wallace and David Duke. The only difference is melanin levels--even their political party affiliations are the same--all Democrats.

Ibram X. Kendi defends fellow racist/cop-hater

Ibram X. Kendi has made a boat-load of money, mostly from white people who need to virtue signal that they are not racists, but you being are because you deny it. They give that false theory a fancy name and call it critical race theory and Kendi is the purveyor of the big lie.

Kendi is defending the idiotic tweet basketball player LeBron James posted Thursday morning that targeted an Ohio cop doing his job by saving a black girl from being stabbed this week. James suggested the cop should have "disarm[ed]" her instead.

If you watch the video you can plainly see that had the officer tried to disarm the girl, who was in motion to plunge her knife into the other girl, made exactly the right choice. He had no time to clear the distance between him and the attacker and had no choice if he wanted to save the black girl who was about to be stabbed.

James, a left-wing semi-intelligent activist, tweeted out the photograph of the police officer, writing, “YOU’RE NEXT. #ACCOUNTABILITY.” James included an emoji of an hourglass, meant to signify that time is running out. [Perhaps 'semi-intelligent' is giving him too much credit.]

What's also reprehensible, beside James' tweet, which he later deleted, is how the media wrote their headlines, merely saying that a cop shot a black girl but eliminating the context. It's clear that the media hopes for more rioting--it makes them lots of money, just like race hustling makes lots of money for people like Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson.

While Kendi pushes critical race theory, the federal government has previously referred to it as "divisive" and "un-American propaganda." Kendi appeared on the Communist News Network (CNN) where he responded to James' tweet.

“In this particular case, LeBron James spoke out, he tweeted a picture of the officer, the officer who allegedly shot Ma’Khia and he said, ‘you’re next,'” CNN leftist host Brianna Keilar said. “He has since deleted that tweet. What is your reaction to that? Does that add to the tension? Is that appropriate?”

“I think it’s important for us to recognize that people are very, very angry and upset and outraged and people including LeBron James, you know, including others, they witnessed, you know, I don’t want to speak for LeBron, but I know many people feel as if they did not witness police work,” Kendi claimed. “They witnessed someone being killed and even potentially murdered. And of course, like with any other case, people are going to be outraged that someone did not come and de-escalate, the situation, disarm that girl, so everyone could have gone home safely that evening.”

Backlash to James’ racist, anti-cop tweet was so severe that he deleted it less than two hours after posting it. He followed up with two tweets but didn't apologize for putting a target on the back of the cop and posting his photo.

“ANGER does [sic] any of us any good and that includes myself!” James said ungrammatically. “Gathering all the facts and educating does though! My anger still is here for what happened that lil girl. My sympathy for her family and may justice prevail!”

“I’m so damn tired of seeing Black people killed [and saved] by police,” James continued. “I took the tweet down because its being used to create more hate -This isn’t about one officer. it’s about the entire system and they always use our words to create more racism. I am so desperate for more ACCOUNTABILITY.”

He's full of crap and proof that it doesn't take a genius to be a great athlete.

Some of the responses to James' tweeting from the hip:
“Narrative Commitments + Retribution > Facts + Effectual Reforms This is a recipe for savagery, not #Accountability” - Kmele Foster

“Apparently the life of the girl nearly stabbed to death didn’t matter.” - Dana Loesch

“How dare you? This is disgusting & dangerous. He saved the life of a young Black woman under attack. This is incredibly irresponsible.”-Megyn Kelly

“Nothing to see here, just the Chinese Communist Party’s favorite illiterate apparatchik trying to incite the assassination of a police officer who saved a girl from being stabbed to death.”- Sean Davis

“LeBron James is a bad person who masquerades as a hero.” - Jason Rantz
And my favorite:
The Daily Caller: “Working class police Officer targeted by billionaire professional athlete because he didn’t let someone be stabbed to death.” - The Daily Caller

Critical race theory and Ibram X, Kendi are racism in disguise and need to be called out for their Marxist agenda.
