Seattle's Socialist Mayor [aka Olive Oyl] Has Problems After Attacking Starbucks

The socialist contempt for businesses is incredible. They believe corporations are the source and summit of all of society's ills, but their hatred of big business doesn't always extend to that business' tax dollars or the revenue businesses generate.

But they'll learn they can't have it both ways. You can't slap a business with one hand and grab its wallet with the other. That's what Seattle's inept socialist Mayor Katie Wilson is trying to do, and it may just drive the business that put Seattle on the map out of the city.

Wilson told voters she wasn't going to buy Starbucks and encouraged them to do the same. Calling for a de facto boycott of one of the city's biggest businesses backfired on her. Now Wilson is trying to do damage control.

Incredible.

Seattle’s lefty Mayor Katie Wilson admitted she was wrong to slam Starbucks and push for a boycott of the mega-coffee chain birthed in the Pacific city.

Wilson, 43, issued a terse mea culpa to the New York Times this week as questions swirl about whether the liberal Northwest city can attract and retain businesses. Starbucks, which recently chose to expand its footprint in Tennessee, is one of them.

The Democratic socialist made waves last fall when she joined a barista union rally as mayor-elect and expressed her disgust with one of Seattle’s most recognizable businesses.

But several months later, Wilson appeared to walk back her statement.

“Those comments were not productive in the sense that they caused more harm than good,” she told former newspaper, the New York Times.

Wilson also told the outlet she’s aware that everything she says could be used as possible anti-business missives, and she needs to have a “multidimensional relationship” with corporations like the coffee giant.

Starbucks has already moved some of its operations to Tennessee, bringing with it 2,000 jobs. Could the headquarters pull out of Seattle entirely?It seems people think it might.

Seattle's New Socialist Mayor Tells Fleeing Millionaires "Bye" As City Prepares For Vibrant Post-Wealth Utopia

In a bold masterstroke of economic genius, Seattle's freshly minted self-proclaimed socialist mayor Katie Wilson has solved the city's millionaire exodus problem by simply not caring if they leave.

While speaking at a forum at Seattle University earlier this month, the new socialist mayor said, "I think the claims that millionaires are going to leave our state are like super overblown. And the ones that leave, like, bye," she continued, waving her hand and laughing. 

The line drew laughs and applause from the adoring trained seals who presumably do not pay the city's bills, but online it landed about as well as a tax hike on successful people.

"Seattle's Socialist Mayor responds to exodus of wealth from Washington State by saying "BYE" ... then laughing. We're doomed," wrote Brandi Kruse.

Kruse's post has been seen over 4 million times on social media as of Friday morning, which is roughly four million more people than will be left in Seattle once the last productive resident packs up.

Popular conservative account "End Wokeness" also posted on X, writing, "Mayor Wilson seems to welcome the idea of a wealth exodus from Seattle. This is the FA part. FO coming soon.""Enjoy, Seattle," Fox News contributor Guy Benson posted on X.

"What do socialists think happens when the most productive, highest revenue driving members of their tax base leave their jurisdictions?" Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts posted on X.

"Socialists are driven by hate for the rich, not concern for the poor," Manhattan Institute scholar Daniel Di Martino posted on X.

"This is the reaction of a spoiled child whose parents paid her bills up until the point that she became mayor… She has no grasp of reality or economics," comedian Tim Young posted on X. "Seattle is extra cooked."

Discovery Institute Senior Journalism Fellow Jonathan Choe posted on X, "Seattle, you voted for this."

"This clip will live in infamy," the Washington State Republican Party posted on X. "
@MayorofSeattle Katie Wilson is not only unfit to be mayor, she lacks grace and gratitude. Perhaps, she's the one who should leave #Seattle."

Wilson shocked many political observers when she was elected Seattle's mayor last year, and many chalked up her victory to her ability to tap into a similar voting bloc that socialist Zohran Mamdani used on his way to becoming New York City's next mayor. Experts call this demographic "people who think other people's money grows on trees and also hate trees because they're not diverse enough."

Earlier this month, Fox News Digital reported on city advocates who say they are struggling to find solutions as homelessness and open-air drug use spread across Seattle’s streets, amid growing concerns about the direction of Wilson's new administration.

"You can just see the foil is like blowing down the sidewalks like autumn leaves," Andrea Suarez, founder and executive director of We Heart Seattle, told Fox News Digital in an interview."Very common to see property damage of our parks and shared spaces. You can see Narcan is used to reverse an overdose, so you'll see cartridges. But at least we're remodeling the bathroom to be gender-neutral. I'm not [kidding] you, that's where our priorities are."

City officials remain confident that once every last millionaire has been waved goodbye with a cheery "like, bye," the remaining citizens will thrive in a glorious, revenue-free socialist paradise where the tents are gender-neutral and the discarded drug paraphernalia forms a beautiful mosaic of progress.

By the way, Starbucks has made a significant move to Nashville, TN. They may move their HQ there too, they've already built a new building there for a headquarters, but we'll see.

Seattle Pride getting budget cut as corporate sponsors dwindle due to removal of noggins from nether region

Let's dive into the rainbow-colored dumpster fire that is Seattle Pride’s financial meltdown!

According to reports, Seattle Pride is staring down a $350,000 shortfall, and they’re blaming it on—wait for it—corporations ditching the DEI bandwagon. That’s right, the woke cash cow is drying up, and now the glitter’s hitting the fan!

Seattle, the granola-crunching, Birkenstock-wearing capital of lefty land, is apparently struggling to keep its Pride parade afloat. KOMO News says this mess is “attributed to recent rollbacks in initiatives and political challenges facing the LGBTQIA2S+E=Mc2 community.” 

Translation: Companies are tired of footing the bill for identity politics while losing income, and the alphabet soup is feeling the squeeze. 

Enter Patti Hearn, Seattle Pride’s Executive Director, who’s out here sounding like she’s auditioning for a TED Talk on victimhood. 

Hearn told KOMO, “We have seen shifts in corporate sponsorship as companies assess their budgets and priorities, and some sponsors have not yet renewed their commitments this year.” 

Oh no, Patti, you mean businesses are acting like businesses and not your personal ATM? 

She goes on: “We are still in conversations with many of them — it’s important to us that we partner with organizations that demonstrate genuine and sustained support for the LGBTQIA2S+ community year-round. This is especially imperative as our community faces ongoing political attacks.” 

Eye roll. Political attacks? Or maybe people are just over the corporate virtue-signaling?

But wait, it gets better! Hearn’s got a plan to save Pride: ditch the suits and go full communist! She said, “We know that relying on corporate sponsorships is not the future of Pride. The future is community [communism]. That's why we're leaning into grassroots partnerships and radical mutual aid.” Radical mutual aid? What is this, a Pride parade or a Marxist bake sale? 

Good luck funding your floats with hugs and good vibes, Seattle!

The Seattle Times piles on, quoting Hearn blaming—you guessed it—Trump! “Hearn said the retreat in financial commitments by major corporate sponsors is a sign big-name companies may be following the lead of the Trump administration, which has launched a sweeping campaign against diversity, equity and inclusion efforts and the LGBTQ+ community, particularly transgender people.” 

There it is, folks! The Orange Man strikes again, single-handedly tanking Seattle Pride from Mar-a-Lago. Give me a break.

Hearn’s out here whining, “It’s a really rough world for queer people, and this just feels like it’s part of that package.” Rough world? They get a whole Pride Month while veterans get a day!

Try running a business in Biden’s economy, Patti! 

She refuses to name the corporations ghosting her, saying her team is “still in some conversation” with them. Sure, sounds like those Zoom calls are going great. She told The Seattle Times, “Typically, we’d have a lot more companies who’d sign on the dotted line much earlier than the deadline. What we’re seeing is a bit of uncertainty.” 

Uncertainty? Or maybe companies are waking up to the fact that pandering doesn’t pay the bills.

Hearn says this year’s parade is safe, but 2026 might be a different story unless they can scrape together some cash. Her big plan? Beg for donations, chase grants, and throw fundraisers. Sounds like Seattle Pride’s about to become the world’s most fabulous GoFundMe.

So, what’s the takeaway? Woke Inc. is tightening the purse strings, and Seattle Pride’s learning the hard way that you can’t guilt-trip your way to a balanced budget. 

Maybe it’s time to rethink the “radical mutual aid” nonsense and focus on something sustainable. Or, you know, just keep blaming Trump. That’s bound to work.

Seattle museum staffers walk off job to protest hateful anti-Semitic exhibit

Twenty-six Seattle museum staffers have walked off the job and shut down the art center in protest of an exhibit "Confronting Hate Together" exhibit. They posit that the exhibit conflates "anti-Zionism as anti-Semitism," which is an accurate assessment.

The workers walked off the job on Wednesday, when the exhibit first opened. They comprise about half the total of Wing Luke Museum workers and this forced the museum to close and they promised to stay on strike until their demands are met.

“Zionism has no place in our communities and being anti-Zionist goes hand in hand with our own liberation as AA/NHPI,” wrote the disgruntled racists, who work at the only pan-Asian art and history museum in the United States. “Our solidarity with Palestine should be reflected in our AA/NHPI institutions.” 

Can I get an Allahu Akbar!

Workers plan to stay off the job until the museum meets their four demands.

The striking workers are attempting to strong-arm their employer to remove language from the exhibit that “attempt[s] to frame Palestinian liberation and anti-Zionism as anti-Semitism,” [which, of course. it is] acknowledge its “limited perspectives,” conduct a community review of it and “center voices and perspectives that align with the museum’s mission and values,” the group wrote on social media.

The exhibit is designed to explore anti-Asian American, Native American and Pacific Islander hate, Black hate and anti-Jewish hate, according to the museum’s website. 

The show was supposed to run from Wednesday through June 30. However, the pro-hate strikers, disguised as anti-hate, virtuous individuals put the caboosh on it.

Part of the display that the striking anti-Semitic staffers are taking issue with is a panel from the Jewish Historical Society that starts off saying, “Today, anti-Semitism is often disguised as anti-Zionism.”

If you don't believe that's true, ask any anti-Zionist how they feel about the, you know, Jews.

The disgruntled workers raised concerns about how the exhibit “conveyed Zionist perspectives,” according to their social media post. 

Nobody in that group wants to hear from the Jews on the matter in spite of the fact that Israel is the historical homeland of the Jewish people dating back thousands of years, long before there ever was an Islam.

Google fires 28 employees after growing a pair

It's beginning to look a lot like companies across America are getting fed up with the "kids" calling the shots or simply acting out, as if they own the company. An example of how the adults took charge was with Google's response to the way Hamasshole supporters are disrupting everything they can.

Although Google has historically supported such woke ideology like DEI and BLM, it finally grew a set of balls, primarily because it had to for its own sake.

It might have been the final straw when a clique of terror-loving Googlers staged a mega-tantrum in the company’s New York and California offices over work their employer does for you know, the Jews of Israel. Google wasted no time to respond and terminate 28 Hamas-supporting racists involved in the disruptions.

“They took over office spaces, defaced our property, and physically impeded the work of other Googlers. Their behavior was unacceptable, extremely disruptive, and made co-workers feel threatened,” the company’s vice president of global security said.

Good for Google.

The “protest” consisted of infantile actions such as office sit-ins and childish demands on a top exec’s whiteboard. 

Overall, their behavior was akin to the Hamassholes blocking the Golden Gate Bridge last Monday, blocking access to vehicles and fortunately nobody was being transported by ambulance for emergency medical intervention. The useful idiots, many of whom would not survive a full minute if they were doing this in Gaza, were allegedly funded by Iran. [H/T The Geller Report.]

The Daily Wire also reported on Google's internal anti-Semitism including the words "kill all Jews" written on a bathroom wall inside one of their offices. A Jewish employee was also assaulted by pro-Hamas protesters on one of their campuses.

In Manhattan, the Hamas-supporters occupied the tenth floor of Google's offices in Chelsea as part of support for the Seattle office for what they called "No Tech for Genocide Day of Action." These were obviously computer geeks and not English majors or minors as they don't understand the definition of the word 'genocide.'

The protesters demanded [LOL] that Google pull out of a 41.2 billion "Project Nimbus" contract with Israel in which Google Cloud and Amazon Web Services provide AI and cloud-computing services for the Israeli government and the IDF.

If it were up to these infants at Google, Israel would be defenseless and they would have their genocide, except to the people it was tried on once before by a turd named Hitler.

Seattle public schools aim for mediocre to be more "inclusive" in order to lower the bar for all

Seattle Public Schools (SPS) is ditching its program for gifted students in order to make the less gifted kids feel like they're doing just great and don't need to study harder and don't need to feel upset when other kids get honors classes. All this in the name of "inclusiveness" and "equity" for the sake of diversity.

SPS began phasing out its Highly Capable Cohort (HCC) schools and classrooms for advanced learners in the 2021-22 school year, claiming the program did not address racial inequalities, but addressed only the needs of bright students in mainly two-parent households that emphasizes education over hanging out. Of course this does not imply that people from lower socio-economic groups and/or father-less homes cannot succeed scholastically, but there's definitely something to be said for intact family structure as it related to success.

The replacement for HCC will be called the Highly Capable Neighborhood School Model, and will be available in every school by the 2024-25 school year, It will level the playing field so that highly gifted learners and learners without gifts will be learning less, but doing it together. 

Insofar as incentives go for gifted students, what's the point of pushing the intellectual envelope?

Instead of separate classrooms and schools for gifted students, all students will remain together in the same classroom and the teacher will individualize learning plans for each student. The beauty of the program is that it adds to the convenience of the classroom clowns and dummies to steal the lunch money from the higher performing kids and won't have to go looking for them. It's a win-lose situation, so what could go wrong?

The district announced the changes will "address historical inequity" and include "three tiers of service for students depending on individual needs, delivered in a way that honors individual cultures and backgrounds."

And all that jazz.

Man murdered by criminal freed 8 days earlier--he broke his promise to the judge

If lawmakers were held accountable for their laws, and judges for their progressive judgments, the problem of violent recidivism would be almost nonexistent because the criminals would be in jail where they belong. But lawmakers and judges live away from most crime, often in protected communities and don't have to deal with the policies and legal procedures they create.

An innocent person was beaten to death by a scumbag who should have been in jail. But the scumbag was freed on bail 8 days earlier because the judge made him promise that he would be a good citizen and not commit anymore crimes. Pinky swear, cross his cold heart. This judge should not only be disbarred, he should be charge with the crime of blatant disregard for human life or perhaps depraved indifference to the welfare of the innocent people in society because he put a violent offender back out on the streets.

Aaron Fulk, [the 'l' is silent] the scumbag in question, obviously didn't care about a promise he made to Judge Philip Thornton, an idiotically progressive judge allowed him bail in spite of a violent history.

Fulk beat a 66-year-old man to death on the streets of Seattle. He beat the man with a metal pole and is currently being charged with first-degree murder with bail set at $2.5 million.

Fulk's original arrest 8 days ago was for felony harassment for threatening to kill a city worker. Prosecutors asked for $10,000 bail for this repeat offender with a history of being charged with assault, aggravated battery and attempted assault.

Thornton didn't care about Fulk's past and cut him loose on his own recognizance with the strict order: Do not commit any more crimes.

But he didn't listen. A man is dead because the judge released this POS.

Fulk didn't listen. And now a man is dead.

Man with gun shoots home burglar dead in self defense

SEATTLE -- Jerahme Smith, 31, shot and killed a suspected burglar and fired at another man inside his own home.

Smith was at home with his sister when two intruders kicked in his back door. One brandished a weapon which got Smith to thinking, Hmm, I better do something lest he shoot and kill me and sis. So he got his own gun and shot at the alleged burglars or whatever they planned to do once inside somebody else's house.

"When everything first started, the first thing I had to do was take a few breaths and calm myself down because I knew it could have gone one of two ways," he told Fox News. "I didn’t know who they were, I didn’t know what they had, but the first thing I did--and it’s the honest to God truth--is I took a few breaths to myself. That way I knew I was calm enough to make a proper judgment decision."

The Pierce County Sheriff's Department received a call about a home invasion just before 4:30 a.m. from a homeowner who said he shot at intruders. When deputies arrived, they found an unresponsive [because he was dead] suspect, identified as a 24-year-old unidentified man.

No further information about the dead guy has been released but he was declared deader than a doornail a short time later. The second suspect got away and authorities are searching for him.

"The detectives will finish the investigation and forward the case to the Pierce County Prosecutor’s Office for review," the sheriff's department said in a statement.

Smith said he and his wife and three children were living in the rented home for three years. He maintains he acted in self-defense.

"It kind of goes back to your rights. I have the right to carry and I have the right to protect myself and I have the right to protect my property," he said. "Protect yourself. That doesn’t mean go looking for it, that means just be ready."

Nearby residents told the news outlet the area has seen an increase in crime as is all Democrat-run cities across America.

"If it ain’t one thing it’s another," said one man, who declined to give his name nor the brand of chewing tobacco he was a spittin'. "That kind of upsets me that we have this kind of crime going on in the neighborhood. It’s not a good feeling because we don’t know—it could be something happening tomorrow, tonight, you know? Same old thing."

Seattle Police arrest 4 protesters during downtown march

A cozy fire at a mostly peaceful protest in sleepy Seattle

Seattle police arrested at least four mostly peaceful protest march in beautiful downtown Seattle on a Saturday afternoon.

Three of the mostly peaceful people were arrested for obstruction and resisting arrest, about the dumbest thing a person can do. A fourth person was arrested for carrying an illegal fixed blade knife and he didn't bring his lunch with him.

The protesters, much like their IQs, were between 25 and 33 years old.

The three who were arrested allegedly interfered with officers who were trying to arrest another mostly peaceful protester who was wanted for an alleged assault of another individual. Due to the interference by the three anus brains, the alleged assaulter was able to escape, police said. 

The current protest commemorates one year since George Floyd likely died of a drug overdose while being detained by police for allegedly trying to pass a twenty dollar bill to purchase stuff. It also comes after Floyd stuck a gun in the belly of a woman while his other buddies robbed her as her young child looked on. It also comes after Floyd's ninth arrest.

Due to the media pressure, the officer who used a perfectly legal method with his knee on the side of the subject's neck, was convicted of murdering Floyd.

The protests marked the one-year anniversary of the death of George Floyd on May 25, 2020, at the hands of a Minneapolis police officer who was convicted of his murder last month.

The protesters were booked into the King County Jail, which is no big deal as they will soon be released on their own incompetence.

“I know for me personally, I’m going to continue to wear a mask in public and I’m going to encourage others to do so,” Lightfoot told Ruhle. “We’ve got to make sure that people are continuing to follow the public health guidance that has gotten us this far, and masks, I think, are a big and important part of that.”

Lightfoot said on Tuesday afternoon that her decision to continue to encourage people to wear masks was not based on distrust of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

“But I think their guidance last week regarding masks has people confused…We need clarification,” Lightfoot said. “We still have a long way to go to hit the critical mass (of vaccinations) or herd immunity. I don’t want people to have false confidence.”

“To say, ‘If you’re vaccinated, you don’t have to wear a mask,’ that’s great. But what about all of the other people who are out there that aren’t vaccinated?” Lightfoot added. “There’s no way to know that. So I think for the time being, most people are gonna continue to wear masks outside of their homes.”

Violence is busting out all over [the West Coast]

Major cities on the West Coast are experiencing riots mixed with protests Saturday night to honor the memory of Breonna Taylor, a Black woman shot in a police raid in Louisville, Kentucky, which is not n the West Coast.

The riots between the fascist crowds and police were seen in Seattle, Portland and Los Angeles and many arrests were made, which hardly matters to the arrestees since these leftist cities tend to let felons out after they had their breakfasts.

In Los Angeles, demonstrators smashed store windows and threw rocks at cops in Hollywood, where actors and actresses are calling for the defunding of police at the expense of the business owners, many of whom are minorities.

Social media videos showed police officers in riot gear near the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street near the Hollywood Walk of Fame. One social media video showed a protester jumping on a police cruiser as it sped away. Unfortunately, the rioter was not hurt.

At least one officer was injured in the clashes, police said, according to an on-air report from KNBC-TV in Los Angeles. The officer’s condition was not reported.

It was unclear if any protesters were injured but we're keeping our fingers crossed that none are dead so that maybe one day we can put an end to the BLM and Antifa violence celebrations.

Bed Bath and Beyond, a CVS pharmacy and an Asian restaurant were among the businesses vandalized by the mostly peaceful protesters, according to KNBC and social media videos.

Police did not immediately report whether any scumcrumpets have been arrested but it hardly matters as they will be back out on the streets before you can say, "You know . . .  the thing."

Earlier, hundreds of protesters marched and celebrated Taylor’s life peacefully in Hollywood and other parts of the city until they didn't. 

In one video, police on bicycles are seen making arrests, while another video showed police in a van as they followed a group of potential anarchists.

Earlier, a violent clash broke out as police used pepper spray while moving in against a crowd.

A downtown Starbucks shop was seen with smashed windows and spray-painted messages on the outside. It's possible that the Mochalomafrappachota Latte was cold and this got them all riled up.

Police were also monitoring a group that they believed had been dragging construction signs and other items into the street in an apparent bid to block vehicles.

The Seattle Police Department tweets about 4 a.m. Saturday ET that they had made a mere 13 arrests.

In Portland, a federal courthouse in the downtown area appeared to be the main staging area for another face-off with authorities.

Just one night earlier, police had also made the magic number of 13 arrests and "kettled" about 100 demonstrators before allowing them to leave individually.

Last week’s protests outside the courthouse came soon after authorities removed a barrier that had been in place outside the building.

On Saturday night and into Sunday morning, new messages were seen spray-painted outside the courthouse, including, "Police are murderers." These same "mostly peaceful" demonstrators demonstrated their ambitions by attempting to murder those murderous police by burning them to death. Fortunately, it failed, just like their math scores.

Taylor, who was Black, was killed on March 13, 2020, when a group of Louisville Metro Police Department officers entered her apartment on a no-knock raid on Taylor's home as it was believed Walker was shipping drugs to that location. However, the police said that they did knock.

Taylor’s mostly peaceful and not very smart boyfriend, Kenneth Walker, fired at the officers, thinking they were burglars, he later told police. Naturally, the police officers decided that they didn't want to die so they fired back and Taylor was shot multiple times and killed in the crossfire.

Taylor’s family and their supporters have been seeking the prosecution of city police officers who participated in the raid that led to Taylor’s death. Three police officers have been fired and one detective was charged for allegedly shooting into adjacent apartments during the raid but none has been charged in connection with Taylor’s death.

Walker has filed a federal lawsuit against the Louisville police.

Authorities in Kentucky stress that their investigation is continuing.

Seattle: mostly peaceful riots breakout, cops attacked with explosives

The Democratic city of Seattle faced another round of riots Saturday night with more than a baker's dozen of rioters being arrested for a bunch of alleged crimes.

Police "arrested 16 individuals after various acts of property destruction, assault, and vandalism" took place, say the police.  

“A group of protestors [aka Marxist scumwafers] left Cal Anderson Park shortly after 9 PM Saturday heading North. A few members of the group were seen committing acts of vandalism and property damage along the way. The group slowly made their way to the 1600 block of East Olive Way where they shattered windows and threw explosives into a coffee shop.

The police department said that arrests were also made for failure to disperse and rendering criminal assistance after the rioters attacked police officers with what officials said was an “explosive.”

The purpose of the rioting was to protest violence and to serve the memory of those black folks who violently resisted arrest and put the lives of police in danger. Some brave souls were on scene and tweeted:

Seattle has been one of the hubs of violent anti-violence protests by Marxist thugs. Most of the violent sentiment has been waged against police and perpetrated by young people with authority issues stemming from their childhoods and spurred on, in some cases, by their college professors who hate America and what it stands for.

It has gotten so bad there that the Department of Justice has designated the city an "anarchist jurisdiction."

In order to determine whether a U.S. city fits the criteria for such a designation, the DOJ released the following criteria:

Whether a jurisdiction forbids the police force from intervening to restore order amid widespread or sustained violence or destruction. 

Whether a jurisdiction has withdrawn law enforcement protection from a geographical area or structure that law enforcement officers are lawfully entitled to access but have been officially prevented from accessing or permitted to access only in exceptional circumstances, except when law enforcement officers are briefly withheld as a tactical decision intended to resolve safely and expeditiously a specific and ongoing unlawful incident posing an imminent threat to the safety of individuals or law enforcement officers. 

Whether a jurisdiction disempowers or defunds police departments. 

Whether a jurisdiction unreasonably refuses to accept offers of law enforcement assistance from the Federal Government. 

Any other related factors the Attorney General deems appropriate.

 Regarding Seattle, the DOJ stated:

For nearly a month, starting in June, the City of Seattle permitted anarchists and activists to seize six square blocks of the city’s Capitol Hill neighborhood, naming their new enclave the “Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone” (CHAZ) and then the “Capitol Hill Occupied Protest” (CHOP). 

Law enforcement and fire fighters were precluded m entering the territory. The Seattle Police Department was ordered to abandon their precinct within the CHOP.

Person-related crime in the CHOP increased 525% from the same period of time in the same area the year before, including by Mayor Durkan’s own count “two additional homicides, 6 additional robberies, and 16 additional aggravated assaults (to include 2 additional non-fatal shootings).” 

The CHOP was allowed to stand for nearly a month, during which time two teenagers were shot and killed in the zone. 

The Seattle City Council, Mayor Durkan, and Washington Governor Jay Inslee publicly rejected federal involvement in law enforcement activities within the city of Seattle.

So now that the DOJ has called a foul on Seattle, what will happen next, in terms of rectifying the situation, remains to be seen. So far the miscreants who run these cities and states are still unpunished while all that Republicans seem to do is go on Fox News and complain.

Seattle bike cop uses protester's head as a speed bump

Seattle -- On the heels of a grand jury decision to follow the evidence and not indict a Louisville police officer in the shooting death of Breonna Taylor, a protester in Seattle refused to allow a police officer of the bike patrol division to peddle on down the road. 

The protester "did a Gandhi" laying face-down in the street expecting the cop to go around him, but wow, did he get a surprise when the bike kept going and rolled over his socialist head.

Seattle has been a ground zero city of the summer of rioting. On Wednesday night, 13 rioters were arrested in the street violence. In the brew-ha-has and kerfuffles with police, a video caught a rioter smashing a cop in the back of the head with a baseball bat. Fortunately the officer was wearing a helmet and seems to have escaped serious injury.

However, another video [below] from journalist Kitty Shackleford shows a role-reversal in which a cop rolls over an apparent idiot's head, a guy who was seeming to block the path of police. After the rollover, the same cop swings the rear wheel of his ride and smashes it against another protester who was advancing on the police line and appeared to be up to no good.

Two cops handcuffed the prone protester.

People who saw the video were mostly in favor of the cops and not sympathetic with the low-information protester. One such person noted:

"There's a lesson here: when the cops say it's time to go home, wake up from [your] street nap and GTFO."

Another person asked:

"How stupid do you have to be to lay down in the street and let someone ride over your head and neck with a bike? These rioters are completely unhinged. Morons, one and all."

Yet another commenter wrote:

"I'm dead, I can't stop laughing," .

The Seattle police are aware of the video and are looking into the matter which  "will be referred to the Office of Police Accountability for further investigation."

The police have had the patience of Job and the restraint of Martin Luther King Jr. How long are they expected to put up with the "in-your-face" screaming and violence? If you were in the cop's bike saddle, what would you have done?

Judge okays recall petition against Seattle Marxist

Seattle councilwoman Kshama Sawant [not to be confused with savant--she's just stupid with no special skills] may be in big trouble. A presiding King County Superior Court judge ruled that accusations against her were verifiable and serious enough to justify a recall petition.

Judge James Rogers, is a fourth generation Seattle-ite [?] and served in the King County Prosecutor's Office from 1994 to 2004. Six of those years was with the Special Assault Unit and three were with the Most Dangerous Offenders Project Unit [aka homicide unit], so don't think you can get over on this guy. 

Rogers ruled that four of the six charges against Sawant justified the continued recall effort, according to the Seattle Times.

The charges against Sawant in the petition are, according to MyNorthwest:

That Sawant misused council resources to promote a ballot initiative in early February
That she violated City hiring rules by giving decision-making authority to Socialist Alternative.
That she revealed the address of Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan’s home to protesters who later marched to her home
That she endangered City employees by admitting hundreds of protesters into City Hall after hours
That she “created a criminal environment” in the East Precinct area of Capitol Hill that ultimately led to the creation of the CHOP

“Rogers dismissed the charges related to the East Precinct and the CHOP, but allowed the others to move forward,” The Seattle Times wrote.

Vis-à-vis the ballot initiative, Rogers wrote that there is “actual knowledge of facts indicating that the Councilmember intended to commit an unlawful act …”

Rogers wrote that as far as giving decision-making authority to Socialist Alternative, “the councilmember had to persuade the Seattle Executive Committee of the Socialist Alternative to discharge an employee, effectively delegating a City staffing decision to an outside body, of which she was a member.”

Regarding the charge of admitting hundreds of protesters into City Hall,  the judge stated: “her alleged act of unlocking the building closed due to the pandemic and letting in the protesters inferentially proves the intent needed to allow the charge/allegation to go forward.”

On July 2, My Northwest reported that Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan issued a letter to Gonzalez urging her to investigate allegations against Sawant; Gonzalez refused, writing, “The public airing of issues amongst and between independently elected officials will not advance solutions on the deepening needs of our constituents. I remain focused on finding solutions and would welcome a letter from Mayor Durkan detailing her vision on how we can work together on enacting concrete solutions that meaningfully address these crises.”

What an incredibly screwed up town.

On August 18, a petition was launched to recall Sawant from her position on City Council. On Tuesday, the Seattle City Council voted to pay for Sawant’s legal defense, 7-1, with Councilmember Debora Juarez the only member to vote against the idea and thus being the only councilmember with a functioning cortex.

Attorney John McKay represents the recall petitioner and said that Sawant needs to be held accountable, asserting, “I realize that we’ve seen this happen at the highest levels of our government,” but “I hope that we are not living in a time in which our elected officials are not held accountable for violations of the law.”

Yeah, who the hell do these politicians think they are? Antifa thugs?

Seattle mayor may face federal charges over "CHOP" humiliating failure

Jenny Durkan, the Democratic Mayor of Seattle, has a lot in common with her fellow Democratic mayors of major American cities.

Durkan is a Democrat and like her party's colleagues, is as useless as a toothpick for a jellyfish. She stands mirrorsf her fellow useless Democratic mayors and governors, Bill de Blasio, Andrew Cuomo, Gavin Newsom, Eric Garcetti and Lori Lightfoot, in the way they handled the "mostly peaceful" Antifa and BLM riots. 

Like them, she neutered her police force, having them stand down as these Marxist anarchists looted, destroyed property, and assaulted innocent people. But like others in her Party, when the rioting affected her directly, she called for the cops to protect her.

Now the Department of Justice is considering whether charges can be brought against her over her apparent refusal to dismantle the so-called "autonomous zone" known as "CHOP" and "CHAZ" in Seattle that was controlled for weeks by anarchists who obviously wish to destroy the USA.

Attorney General Bill Barr is having the DOJ's civil rights division investigate whether charges can be brought against her, The New York Times reported on Wednesday evening. citing two people familiar with the discussions. AG Barr is also looking into possibly charging the rioters with sedition and insurrection against the United States government The Wall Street Journal reports.

The riots began after the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis on May 25. In Seattle, Marxists took over a number of city blocks in the heart of the city and set up a police-free zone. People who live in the area known as CHOP were harassed and scared, but police were told to back off and allow the illegal takeover to play out. 

And play out it did. After several deadly shootings, Durkan finally ordered police to move in and reestablish order; too late for the victims, of course. There had been three shootings with one person killed, one in critical condition and three with injuries.

Local businesses and residents threatened to move from Capitol Hill and never return. 

At the time, Durkan and her city council cretins, along with other city officials defended the protests. They claimed that a dangerous "element" not part of the peaceful protesters had moved into the zone at night and disrupted the zone's "healing" and "education" environment. The idiot mayor actually said she hoped the protests could continue on a more part-time basis.

Why not? She had no business or home in the area to worry about. 

The damage to our major cities have cost insurance companies a record $2 billion to businesses and individuals because of riot-related destruction.

Charging the Marxists with sedition will be hard to do because of First Amendment protection. Prosecutors will have to prove there was a conspiracy against U.S. government agents or officials that posed an imminent threat.

Black leaders in Seattle praise Carmen Best, condemn BLM

Black faith leaders and activists in Seattle criticized Black Lives Matter (BLM) rioters for violence in their city and gave their support for retiring police chief Carmen Best.

Speaking of Best, a local religious leader, Leslie Braxton said at a Thursday press conference, "Being a black woman, she has the perspective of some of the groups that have the most troubled relationships with law enforcement."

Best is Seattle's first black police chief. She announced on August 10th that she would be stepping down after the Democratic city council approved enormous police reform legislation that would cut millions in funding and fire nearly 100 officers from the city's police force. Best called the city council's move "reckless" and provides "no practical plan for community safety."

Police reform activist Andre Taylor, whose brother was shot and killed by Seattle police, criticized protesters marching in the name of BLM.

"I don’t support Black Lives Matter, at least locally what local groups are doing," Taylor said. "There is a disservice being done. If the protest of agitation allows a level of violence—at least they don’t speak out against it—then people that want violence can mingle right in."

Best told the activists that she was "humbled and gratified" by their support, but explained that she was "confident" in her decision to retire after nearly three decades in the department, and plans to allow Seattle to go to hell in a hand basket.

The Democratic Seattle City Council moved quickly to enact police reform legislation this summer following nationwide anti-police protests inspired by anarchists whose goals are more readily reached without police opposition getting in their way.

In addition to cutting millions in police department funding, the bill they passed on Aug. 10 prohibits the police department from removing homeless people from the streets and, according to Mayor Jenny Durkan (D), will cut the city’s "most diverse class of police" officers from the force.

Durkan's claim to fame is referring to the riots that included looting, destruction of property, attacking police, and murder in her town something akin to a "summer of love." 

There are calls for her removal from office.

While anti-police protests have pushed many local governments to defund and reform their police departments, a recent Gallup poll found that over 80 percent of black Americans want to maintain police presence in their neighborhoods, as do most law abiding Americans of all melanin attributes.

Antifa fascists cause sleeplessness in Seattle while cops do nothing

Antifa anarchists rampaged through Seattle streets while police were nowhere to be found. It must suck being a Seattle cop--your orders are clear: stand down, do nothing, have a donut, eventually they'll run out of things to destroy.

Conservative journalist Andy Ngo posted video on Twitter showing mobs of mentally disturbed individuals smashing things, destroying property, spray painting anything in sight while chanting their brilliant philosophy: "I don't think s**t; I don't know s**t."

“Marauding Antifa black bloc in Seattle smash up property as they march around the city. People watch in disbelief. No police,” Ngo reported.

If this doesn't sicken you, you're not sentient.

Some protesters carried shields emblazoned with the slogan “f**k the police.” Bystanders witnessing the anarchy stood by silently, probably wondering why aren't the cops around.

“Look at all these white people. They are scared as f**k right now,” said a brave racist shooting video of residents eating outdoors at some of the city’s restaurants.

About 20 police vehicles approached the mayhem while the rioters blocked their advance with dumpsters. The cops didn't see that coming.

Meanwhile, Seattle's Mayor [for now] Jenny Durkan has referred to the area on Capitol Hill known as CHAD, CHAZ, or  "the zone" as a "block party."

Efforts are being made to throw her out of office via recall due to her blatant incompetence and disregard for the safety of Seattle residents and destruction of local businesses.

It isn't clear if any arrests were made or if anyone died or lost limbs or if any white children were harmed--the cops did not respond to comment requests by the media.

Carmen Best,  Seattle's first black chief of police, resigned this week after the city council voted to cut 100 officers from the SPD.

Seattle has traditionally been an extremely liberal city run by Democrats. The last Republican mayor was James Braman who served from 1964 to 1969.

Seattle: the crocodile is coming for the appeasers

On January 20, 1940 Winston Churchill, then First Lord of the British Admiralty, broadcast a speech on BBC radio from London. He was addressing those nations which had remained neutral during the ongoing war and the New York Times, when it was an actual newspaper, printed it the next day. Part of what Churchill said was:

"Each one hopes that if he feeds the crocodile enough, the crocodile will eat him last. All of them hope that the storm will pass before their turn comes to be devoured. But I fear greatly that the storm will not pass. It will rage and it will roar ever more loudly, ever more widely."

Seattle has been feeding the crocodile, who are, in this case, the anarchists who have rioted in their liberal and leftist city for nearly two months. Now the crocodile is feeding on them.

The violent rioters torched a construction site at a justice center and attacked a Starbucks, the far-left burnt-tasting coffee chain where baristas are known to spit in the drinks of law enforcement from time-to-time. Don't these anarchists know that Starbucks is on their side, like the guys in the video [below]?

What the non-violent leftists don't understand is that the rioters are actually leftists, per se, they're nihilists and see nothing of value in this country, so they aim to destroy it.

Below the justice center is the Starbucks previously mentioned. It was attacked, severely damaged, and the staff was physically assaulted. This kind of violent behavior has been going on across the country after the anarchists found an excuse to create mayhem when George Floyd was wrongfully killed by a bad cop.

The Seattle Police Department reported that a large group of rioters arrived at the site of the King County Youth Service Center/Judge Patricia H. Clark Children and Family Justice Center, near 12th Avenue and Alder Street at around 4 p.m.

“Approximately a dozen people then entered a construction site at the facility, set fire to portable trailers and other equipment, and broke out windows on personal vehicles in the area and court facilities,” the department said. The Starbucks was completely destroyed with graffiti, smashed windows, and damage inside. Reporters on the ground said that there was smoke coming out of the store, and thought a fire may have been set inside.

The Starbucks sits at the bottom level of an apartment complex. People were shouting for residents above the store to evacuate the building.

Human Events Managing Editor Ian Miles Cheong tweeted out a photo from Google Maps that showed the apartment complex on top of the Starbucks. His post:

He also posted a video of store owners who described being violently attacked by the mostly "peaceful protesters."

“They are still attacking people,” the man told Baker as he pointed toward the rioters. “Like, what’s going on?”

Antifa anarchist gives fellow rioter "a light" setting him on fire

Portland's village idiot, Ted Wheeler, lied when he said that federal agents were to blame for the use of tear gas on rioters attempting to destroy federal property and attack federal agents with projectiles and fireworks. The best part was how Wheeler, donned in mask and goggles, sucked in the gas as he stood with fellow anarchists who later told him to "F" off.

In the following Twitter post, you can see the village idiot watching one of the fires and adjusting his mask for the tear gas that came in response:

After Wheeler left the scene of the crimes being committed, he threatened them with tear gas himself, sounding a lot like Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan who called on police only when the rioters went to her house.

Andy Ngo, a brave journalist who had previously been seriously injured by Antifa thugs, reported from Portland:

Anarchists, not quite as smart as fish bait, had difficulty figuring out how to breach the barriers set up by the feds by the courthouse. In the process, however, the did manage to set a fellow cretin on fire. Ngo reported on this:

The did manage to set a tree on fire in their brave attacks on inanimate objects.

Federal agents were able to grab a few of the anarchists who tried to attack them.

One Democrat voter/anarchist screamed as she was pulled away and her fellow communists pelted the agents, and tried to blind them with lasers, but they couldn’t free her.

Meanwhile, Ted Wheeler is still pretending the federal response to the anarchists was unjustified and the anarchists are merely "peaceful protesters."
