No charges filed in Charlotte shooting by cops: stand by

A black Charlotte police officer who shot and killed a black armed man at an apartment complex will not face charges, a North Carolina prosecutor, Andrew Murray, said today.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg DA Murray determined that Officer Brentley Vinson's actions in killing Keith Lamont Scott were justified.

Basically, what the officer did was to protect himself and the lives of other officers by shooting Scott, who was ordered about ten times to drop the gun he held in his hand.

Hopefully, this will be the end of BLM protests along with others who see all blacks, regardless of the situation, as victims of police brutality . . . but I doubt it.

Scott's wife said that her husband was not armed when he was shot--this proved to be false. Others said that the officer who shot Scott was white--this proved to be a lie. Some say Scott was merely holding a book when he exited the vehicle, had his hands in the air when he was shot--this proved to be another lie by a witness who wasn't actually on or near the scene.

"We cannot know what Scott's intention was that day," Murray said.

I would guess that a man with a gun, cocked with a round in the chamber, after smoking pot and having taken medication that often causes aggressive behavior, may have had bad intentions.

Murray held a news conference and showed a nearby store's surveillance video that indicated what appeared to be a holstered gun in a holster on Scott's ankle. All four cops at the scene agreed that Scott had a gun and held it in his hand. Even before the incident, Officer Vinson informed another officer that he saw Scott with a gun.

After Scott was shot, the gun fell to the ground. It was cocked and a round chambered.

Scott's DNA was found on the slide and grip of the gun. It was illegally purchased on September 2nd, Murray explained. "Basically, the seller saw, what we all saw, the video of the incident and said, 'I know that guy and I know that gun,'" he said.

But nothing, absolutely nothing, will matter to people who want to protest for the sake of protesting something, anything that will help them feel morally superior, or simply express free-floating hatred.

Scott's final moments were videod by his wife, Rakeyia, and she shared it with the world on social media. She is heard screaming to police that her husband "doesn't have a gun." She was wrong or she was lying--I prefer to believe the former.

Following the shooting there were two nights of violent protests, including a fatal shooting in downtown Charlotte the next night. The city had to institute a curfew to keep violent protesters from protesting what they called violence by police.

How ironic.

Keith Scott had abusive history and a gun

Charlotte, NC -- The new Black Lives Matter poster person (if I use the word 'boy' that would be considered a racist micro-aggression by college leftists who monitor those things) Keith Lamont Scott, 43, was shot and killed in Charlotte, NC after a confrontation with police.

The police claimed Scott was holding a gun and refused to drop it, but his wife, Rakeyia Scott, claimed that he was holding a book.

What has just been learned is that Scott had allegedly stabbed his wife in the back, hit one of his children and threatened to kill his family, Rakeyia claimed in multiple requests she made for domestic violence protective orders, one of which was filed last year.

According to local media who obtained documents, in 2004, Rakeyia Scott wrote that her husband "assaulted me several times by stabbing me in the back almost puncturing my lungs, he sliced me [sic] ear, and bruised my body," Fox 46 reported.

The more recent report written in October 2015 said: "He hit my 8 year old in the head a total of three times with is [sic] fist . . . He kicked me and threaten [sic] to kill us last night with his gun. He said he is a 'killer' and we should know that."

She also said that Keith carried a 9mm handgun but had no permit for the weapon.

The October 2015 order was dismissed later that month after Rakeyia claimed that her husband no longer posed a threat to the family. But the status of the 2004 request is not yet known.

Scott's wife reportedly recorded video of Keith's encounter with police last week. Police say he was armed with a gun, which was recovered at the scene which police say had been stolen and later sold to Mr. Scott. You can hear Rakeyia in the video yelling at her husband, "Don't do it. Keith, don't do it."

The two and a half-minute video doesn't show the shooting but gunshots can be heard after police command Scott to "Drop the gun," several times.

Portions of body cam video of the shooting has been released and more is hoped to be released after a State Bureau of Investigation probe is complete. Police Chief Kerr Putney said  that a new state law takes effect Oct. 1st requiring a judge's approval for further release of video footage.

Over 100 angry low-information protesters jammed City Council chambers Monday to vent their frustrations with police. Without knowing the full story, the fact that any shooting of a black person by a police officer, black or white, is a racist act in their mind, regardless of whether the cop's life was in danger.

Keith Scott, Michael Brown and all of those who failed to comply with law enforcement and in many cases, broke the law, are not victims of police racism or brutality. Many of them are simply thugs who were too stupid to comply with police and posed a danger to them. But Black Lives Matter does not care about facts. They care about the script they pretend is playing out.

Knowing now what we have learned about Keith Lamont Scott, it becomes easier to believe law enforcement's version of the story. And until other facts prove otherwise, Black Lives Matter and all the rest of the race hustlers can sit on it.

Charlotte police to release video

It's confusing. First the Charlotte police chief Kerr Putney said he could not release the video of the Keith Lamont Scott shooting Tuesday because the case was now with the FBI. Now he announced that he has decided to release the dashboard and body camera video of the shooting that has given rioters a chance to show their stuff.

Putney said the video would be released later Saturday now that the city has had ample time to morph into Detroit. Rioters have attacked bystanders, a white guy, reporters and they've broken windows looted buildings and jumped on police cars.

Not to mention the potty mouths.

Putney, who appears to be making stuff up as he goes along, said he decided to release the video as he's now confident it wouldn't screw up the investigation into the shooting of Scott, who was a felon.

Scott's family has demanded the police release the video which consists of a dashboard camera in one police car, and at least one body camera.

Although Scott's wife claimed that he was only carrying a book, the police say that he had a gun and now the story appears to be changing on the Scott family side. Putney said that Scott was "absolutely in possession of a handgun" and cops saw marijuana in his car, which caused them to perform their sworn duty.

Scumcrumpet nabbed in Charlotte murder

The rioters said it was a cop who shot the protester. Other witnesses said it was a rioter. The Charlotte police, however, now say the have arrested a suspect in the Wednesday fatal shooting of protester Justin Carr.

Rayquan Borum, 21, was charged Friday in the shooting death of Carr, 26, who died the day following the shooting at the Trade Street protests, Charlotte-Mecklenberg Police Chief Kerr Putney said.

Putney said that nearby buildings were used to identify the suspect. Witnesses gave conflicting accounts over who shot Carr. Some said they saw the police gun him down while others said he was shot by a fellow protester.

The shooting occurred on the second night of demonstrations and riots on the heels of a black cop's shooting of another black individual who was said to be holding a gun. The night started with a prayer vigil and culminated in violence. The cops fired tear gas at the crazed scumcrumpets and North Carolina's governor declared a state of emergency in Charlotte.

Seven cops required medical treatment after the Wednesday rioting and video showed rioters kicking and beating a white man in a parking garage. The racist rioters shouted racial epithets, but because they weren't shouting them while white, BLM and the New Black Panthers were okay with it.

Interestingly, both groups did not emphasize the fact that the police officer Brentley Vinson, who shot Keith Lamont Scott, was himself black.

Maybe they forgot. Or maybe it didn't fit their script.

Carr was shot as cops in riot gear gathered up to keep rioters from storming a tony downtown hotel.

Regarding the Scott shooting, there are two police videos--one from a dash-cam and the other from the officer's body-cam. The videos have not been made public as yet, but the family of Scott has been allowed to view them.

Charlotte Mayor Jennifer Roberts said that she believes the videos should be made public, but added that it's a matter of when.

Putney agree that it's a matter of when, not if, the video will be released, but added that he can't give more information on the investigation as his department is no longer leading it, and the FBI has taken the case from him.

Thursday night protests were mainly peaceful but details of five arrests from earlier in the week were released.

Ian Bowzer, 19, was charged with kicking in doors of the Hyatt Hotel and arrested and charged with injury to real property.

Daniel Baker, 49, is accused of breaking into a restaurant and charged with breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering. His IQ coincidentally matches his age.

There are warrants for two other people in the same restaurant break-in and face similar charges as the genius Baker.

One other man is charged with a break-in at another downtown restaurant Tuesday.

Organizers, possibly under the watchful eyes of George Soros, are planning weekend protests in Atlanta Georgia in response to the police shooting deaths of Scott and Terence Crutch in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The officer in the Tulsa case has been charged with first degree manslaughter.

Black man shot and16 Cops hurt in Charlotte protest

Charlotte, NC -- police warned Keith Lamont Scott, 43, several times to drop his handgun. He didn't; an officer, who wanted to go home alive that night, shot and killed him. Riots broke out and at least 16 officers were injured--one from a brick hitting him in the face.

Charlotte Police Chief Kerr Putney spoke at a news conference and said that police were searching for a suspect to serve a warrant Tuesday when they saw Mr. Scott exit a vehicle at an apartment complex; he was holding a handgun.

"The officers gave loud, clear verbal commands which were also heard by many of the witnesses. They were instructing the subject, once he got out of the vehicle, to drop the weapon . . . Mr. Scott exited his vehicle armed with a handgun as the officers continued to yell at him to drop it."

Scott did not comply and Officer Brentley Vinson shot him because the man posed a threat. Vinson is black as was Scott.

Therefore, if these facts are accurate, it is a case in which a police officer determined his life was more valuable than Mr. Scott's, which, to organizations such as Black Lives Matter, believe that it is unfair to make that assumption.

Had events gone the other way and Scott killed Officer Vinson, there would be no story--at least not with the liberal media.

Had Officer Vinson been white, the story would not be about a riot in Charlotte, it would be about rioting in all major cities in the United States and President Obama would speak about it being racism, further dividing the country he claimed that he would unite.

Vinson has been on the force for two years and was placed on administrative leave while the shooting is being investigated--this is normal procedure.

After Scott was shot, officers immediately requested medical help and performed CPR on him.

Protests on Tuesday in Charlotte resulted in 16 officers sustaining injuries and one protester being arrested.

TV footage Wednesday shows protesters on Interstate 85 apparently looting trucks and setting their contents on fire, which makes perfect sense to go after truckers and their companies. Some of the protest can be seen here

On Tuesday night, a larger group of protesters gathered near the scene of the shooting, destroying police vehicles and injuring 12 officers. Police fired tear gas to break it up.

What appears to be happening throughout the country is that anarchists are looking for any excuse to cause harm and damage in the name of any cause that has the appearance of legitimate indignation. Many of these protests are covertly funded by scum like George Soros and his ilk.

Not all police shootings are "kosher," but generally speaking, cops are not looking to kill innocent people--they just don't want anyone to kill them. But the knee-jerk response from the left has been to blame them first, riot and disregard the truth when it's discovered later.

Charlotte Mayor Jennifer Roberts, a liberal Democrat, appealed for calm and tweeted that "the community deserves answers."

How does that statement sound to you?

Please feel free to comment.
