BONGINO’S HAD IT WITH BONDI: FBI Deputy Director Ready to Bolt Over Epstein File Fiasco

Dan Bongino and Pam Bondi are at each other’s throats, and it’s all about those Jeffrey Epstein files.

Word on the street is Dan Bongino, the FBI’s Deputy Director, is ready to walk if Attorney General Pam Bondi keeps her job, as per a source speaking to the Daily Wire. Bongino’s reportedly as angry as a box of wild cats over how Bondi’s handling the Epstein case, and it’s got him eyeing the exit from his FBI post. The source says Bongino’s laid down the law: it’s him or Bondi.

Bongino ditched a sweet broadcasting career to join Trump’s team, but he was MIA at the FBI on Friday after a reported blow-up with Bondi earlier this week over the Epstein mess which started in February when she stated in answer to a question on Fox News that the Jeffrey Epstein "client list" was "sitting on my desk right now to review." But in July 2025, in a Cabinet meeting, she claimed to be referring to the general Epstein case file, not a specific client list when originally making that statement. She also said that there was no evidence of an incriminating "client list." White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt also defended Bondi, stating she was referring to the entirety of the Epstein files, not a specific list.

Well kids, things got heated Wednesday, right after the DOJ claimed there’s no proof Epstein had a client list, was blackmailing big shots, or got whacked in prison. Bondi had hyped up major Epstein case reveals five months back, but delivered zilch and everyone is now pissed off at her.

Bongino, who’s been skeptical about Epstein’s death since before his Trump admin days, said in May that his deep dive into the file and hours of jail video proved Epstein offed himself.

FBI Director Kash Patel backed him up, saying the bureau’s evidence shows no murder here. But there’s more.

A Justice Department source told The Daily Wire that Patel’s also fed up with Bondi and might bounce with Bongino. Patel’s pushing to unseal more documents, too. Bongino’s so fed up, he’s mulling resignation, and his usually chatty social media’s been dead silent since Wednesday’s Bondi clash.

One source close to Bongino told Axios, “He ain’t coming back.” Trump admin folks, though, insist he’s still in the game.

As I said, Bondi’s catching heat for saying in February she had Epstein’s client list “on her desk,” only to backtrack this week when the DOJ said no such list exists. The DOJ and FBI also got slammed after dropping over 10 hours of Epstein’s jail hallway footage, minus one suspicious minute.

“In February, I did an interview on Fox, and it’s been getting a lot of attention because … I was asked a question about the ‘client list’ and my response was, ‘It’s sitting on my desk to be reviewed, meaning the file, along with the JFK, MLK files as well,” Bondi said during a Cabinet meeting on Tuesday. “That’s what I meant by that.”

Do you believe her or do you think she might have been told to say that by someone in more power than her?

At that same meeting, President Trump tore into a reporter for daring to bring up Epstein. "That is unbelievable. … I mean I can’t believe you’re asking a question on Epstein at a time like this when we’re having some of the greatest success and also tragedy with what happened in Texas," Trump said. "It just seems like a desecration."
