Cornell defends its "No Whites Need Apply" rock-climbing class

There used to be a time when racism was unacceptable. We fought a Civil War to end it and more people died in that war than any other on our soil. But now racism has become acceptable, but only when it's aimed against people born white.

And it's disgusting, and it's immoral.

Cornell University, an anti-White Ivy League school in New York, developed a rock-climbing class for the spring, offered to minority groups only; no Whites need apply.

The Outdoor Education offering was a course called "BIPOC Rock Climbing." The term "BIPOC" stands for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color. It includes pretty much every group of people except for "Whitey." It even includes Asians in spite of the fact that they are discriminated against in admissions to some schools such as Harvard because they score higher than the other BIPOCers.

The course description, according to The Cornell Daily Sun, specified that the class was “for people who identify as Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Asian, or other people of color.”

The term "Latinx" is a term used by morons to replace the word "Latinos" because they need to change everything to feel important and virtuous, although they never did anything virtuous themselves but condemn others for not being as good as they claim to be, often by implying so. This is one of the main reasons they are morons.

The racist rock-climbing BIPOC pukes prompted people from across the internet to hit back at their racism.

Cornell was accused of violating federal and state civil rights law while one Reddit user decried what they described as a “horrifically and monstrously racist practice that has no place in the modern world” and “literally evil.”

Earlier this year, the course description for “BIPOC Rock Climbing” was changed to read: “This class is designed to enable Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Asian, or other people of color underrepresented in the sport of rock climbing to learn the sport and to feel included and supported. The class is open to all Cornell students interested in learning rock climbing with this special focus.”

Is it possible that people of color are "underrepresented" in the sport because they find it even less exciting than, say, "Chutes and Ladders"? And by excluding White people from the class, how does that increase the number of non-whites from enrolling in it? It simply excludes one racial group and favors all others.

Sorry, but I cannot help being White anymore than my wife can help being a woman of color. Our skin color doesn't define us for who we are other than the differences that need to be taken into account in photography and sunbathing.

Instructor Matthew Gavieta, a junior, explained that the BIPOC course was meant to help alleviate what he called “an issue of inaccessibility for minorities in this white-centric sport.”

So how does allowing all students to enroll in this class make it inaccessible for minorities? Explain that please because it doesn't make logical sense how excluding White people from the class would somehow alleviate what is claimed to be the problem. In fact, it's a fallacy known as the appeal to probability: if white people are allowed to enroll in the class, this will exclude people of color who want to enroll.

According to the National Center for Education Statistics, 36% of Cornell’s 15,000-plus undergraduate students in the fall of 2019 were White. The second-largest racial group was Asians (20%), followed by Hispanic/Latino students (14%). Black or African-American students made up 7% of Cornell’s undergraduate population, behind “Race/ethnicity unknown” (8%) and “Non-resident alien” (11%).

This is racism and it's time for everyone to stand up against it.
