Dem staffer who doxxed GOP senators WAS NOT an intern

Jackson Cosko, the Democratic staffer arrested last week for 'doxxing' Republican senators was definitely not an "intern" for Rep. Shiela Jackson Lee (D-CA) as originally reported. The 27-year-old scumquat was actually a "fellow" paid by an "outside institution" who served as a primary adviser in Lee's Congressional office.

According to the Tennessee Star, "[w]hile [Lee] claims Cosko was an 'unpaid intern' in her office, the Washington Post reports that Cosko was actually a 'fellow.' This was confirmed by Cosko's lawyer, who said his client was a "fellow" in Jackson-Lee's office and that he was being paid by an 'outside institution.'"

The identity of the "outside institution" it isn't yet known, but a "fellow" is a lot different than an "intern." According to Lee's correspondence, Cosko was routinely trusted to advise Lee and communicate with other congressional members, especially those co-sponsoring Lee's bills.

This raises questions, as the Tennessee Star elucidated: "It seems clear Cosko isn't some unlucky and overzealous intern who got caught being a naughty boy. Rather, it seems Cosko might be a Democratic operative, paid by an outside organization, planted in an unpopular congresswoman's office possibly so he could engage in exactly the type of behavior that just got him arrested."

Federal investigators arrested Cosko last week when they discovered he was the person responsible for editing a Wikipedia article that revealed their personal date: names, addresses and phone numbers of three GOP senators. This came almost immediately after Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) ended a fiery speech defending Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh [who has since been confirmed as Justice Brett Kavanaugh].

Cosko is charged with "publishing restricted personal information, threats in interstate communication, unauthorized access of a government computer, identity theft, witness tampering, second degree burglary, and unlawful entry," as Fox News reports.

Cosko may also be charged with threatening a fellow Congressional aide, to reveal names, social security numbers and health information of unnamed Senators' children. and may be charged for that as well.
