A rap singer is dead at the age of 26, possibly for taking either bad drugs or too many drugs at the same time. His stage name was Mac Miller. His real name was Malcolm James McCormick. He had a history of substance abuse.
Miller was found unresponsive in his Studio City, California home and was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:51 a.m. which was confirmed by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner in a statement to Fox News.
"At this time, an autopsy is pending and a cause of death has not been determined."
But the Los Angeles Times, citing sources and not yet deemed as "fake news" by President Trump, said Miller died of an apparent overdose, which means he took too much of the drug.
In a statement obtained by Rolling Stone, the late rapper's family called him a "bright light in this world."
"Malcolm McCormick, known and adored by fans as Mac Miller, has tragically passed away at the age of 26," the statement read and did not mention the stupidity of taking drugs and dying from it. "He was a bright light in this world for his family, friends and fans. Thank you for your prayers. Please respect ur privacy. There are no further details as to the cause of his death at this time."
It's really a tragedy that people do stupid things and if they're famous and especially if they're physically attractive, their followers idealize their reckless behavior and unfortunately, sometimes they emulate them.
Drugs are not cool and drug overdoses are not pretty.
Sadly, there's a serious probability that others will overdose.
