4 dead after minivan crashes into crowd in Beijing

Four people were killed on Wednesday and dozens injured, some critically, when a minivan plowed into a farmer's market in Beijing, China.

The driver of the van was detained by authorities, the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau said. It is still not known whether the episode was intentional or an accident.

Obviously, tensions are high as this incident comes only two days after a terror attack in Berlin in which a Muslim jihadist killed 12 people when he drove a semi truck into a crowd at a Christmas market.
