Kasich: my hands are tied; I'm speechless

The Cleveland Police Union called on Ohio Governor John "Karate Chop" Kasich to ban the open carry of firearms during the Republican National Convention. This comes on the heels of a shooting in Baton Rouge where at least 3 police officers were killed by one man who was also killed by police.

Kasich claims to be powerless to make that call.

Steve Loomis, the president of the Cleveland Police Patrolmen's Association was the person who made the request to ban open carry this week in Cuyahoga County. But a Kasich spokeswoman, Emmalee Kalmbach, said that it's basically out of the hands of the governor.

"Law enforcement is a noble, essential callingand we all grieve that we've again seen attacks on officers. Ohio governors do not have the power to arbitrarily suspend federal and state constitutional rights or state laws as suggested," she said.

Thankfully, Kasich was never in contention for the GOP nomination in the presidential primary because Kasich is an impotent twit.
