Some Republicans repeat same mistakes, expect different results

It's a fact--Republicans are sadists who enjoy shooting themselves in the foot. Or maybe we're just stupid.

Anti-Trump GOPers are trying to get Mark Cuban, billionaire businessman and owner of the Dallas Mavericks, to jump into the presidential race as a third-party candidate in order to hand over the presidency once again to the left.

Cuban told the Washington Post that an anonymous Republican said to him that a loud persona along with his "ability to connect with voters" could make him POTUS, but he rejected the offer but agreed that he could beat Trump if push came to shove, which it would.

"He could come after me all he wanted, and he knows I would put him in his place," Cuban told the Post. "All that said, again, I don't see it happening. There isn't enough time."

In a blog post in February, Cuban wrote that there has "not been a single instance of leadership from any of the candidates."

But if there is a third=party candidate, the GOP will lose again, I predict.

Imagine if Hillary Clinton is indicted after the "security inquiry" shows she committed espionage based on what the Federal Bureau of Inquiries finds on her illegal, private email server. Then let's pretend Bernie Sanders becomes the first Jewish socialist president.

Sanders' socialism would be a disaster to our country. Even the childish followers who support him now would eventually realize they have to pay for all that 'free stuff'. Worse still, our enemies would see their opportunity in a president even weaker than Obama (who may actually be shrewdly weak) and the country would become overrun by foreigners and the term 'illegal' would be stricken from the record.

Even if Bernie nor Hillary are nominated, and Joe Biden, for example, gets the nod, the Supreme Court is going to go uber liberal and possibly the Congress. Worse is the way liberals tend to deal with terrorism and foreign affairs in general. Think of Obama's 'red line' for example and see the way the world now views us.

Like him or not, Donald Trump will bring more people into the GOP, and that is an important thing for the Grand Old Party because right now, we are outnumbered by liberals and ganged up on by the media.

So I will vote Trump, no matter who the third-party candidate happens to be, because that's the only way to beat the Democrats and regain a leg-up in checks and balances in the judiciary and congress.

Can I get an "Allahu Akbar!"
