When is a scandal, not a scandal? When the Obama administration is involved in it.
The scandal reappeared with the release of White House e-mails sent by Ben Rhodes to UN ambassador, Susan Rice, regarding her 5 appearances on the Sunday morning talk shows in which she blamed an anti-Islam video on the September 11, 2012 attack that killed 4 Americans in Benghazi. The Obama administration declared it was a non-scandal and old news, so let's forget about it, okay?
But the e-mails clearly show that the White House prepped Susie, yet Press Secretary, Jay Carney claimed the "prep call," as one e-mail put it, wasn't even about Benghazi. He said it was about demonstrations in the Muslim world, not including Benghazi. "It is not about Benghazi--it is about the protests around the Muslim world," the White House Press Liar said.
The White House claimed all along that Sue relied on the "best available intelligence," proving they either have none, or are lying through their caviar-stained teeth.
It was Judicial Watch, a conservative watchdog group, who did what congress failed to do: they obtained the un-redacted e-mails through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). Prior to this, congress was only able to get their manicured hands on e-mails that were so redacted, they resembled Picasso's Blue Period. Like those politicians who made the request, the e-mails were useless.
The e-mail was sent Friday, September 14, 2012 and the subject line read: "RE: PREP Call with Susan: Saturday at 4:00 pm ET." Obama's inner circle, including Jay Carney, David Plouffe, and Dan Pfeiffer, and it was quite clear that it spoke to the anti-Islam video and made no mention as to whether the Benghazi attack differed from other protests in the world of orthodox Islam and its merry band of terrorists.
The 4 goals of the e-mail were the following:
1. "To convey that the United States is doing everything we can to protect our people and facilities abroad."
2. "To underscore that these protests are rooted in an Internet video, and not a broader failure of policy."
3. "To show that we will be resolute in bringing people who harm Americans to justice, and standing steadfast through these protests."
4. "To reinforce the President and Administration's strength and steadiness in dealing with difficult challenges."
In spite of Carney yelling, "squirrel, squirrel," and pointing elsewhere, this is the smoking gun, particularly number 2. For Carney to tell reporters that the e-mail wasn't about Benghazi, is an insult to the intelligence of the American people, not counting leftists.
Now that we know the truth, what are our "leaders" in congress going to do about it? It took a non-government organization to bring the truth into the light of day, un-redacted and damning to Obama's inner circle. And who knows, it might go all the way to the top. We definitely know Hillary Clinton lied to the families of the dead; I believe she knew the whole story within the first day.
Charles Krauthammer spoke on Fox News' Special Report and said that he believes the media will say the sandal is too complicated to cover. I wonder what's complicated about it. The facts? Truth?
Nobody involved with the Benghazi attack has been brought to justice. Not the terrorists nor the scum who covered up the truth. Our empty-suit president has vowed to bring those responsible for the Benghazi attack to justice, and just like his string of promises, he lied.

In my latest novel, a New York reporter is
taken hostage by terrorists. If POTUS refuses to release 3 Gitmo jihadists, the
reporter will die in 24 hours—they will behead him and show it on the Internet.
There is only one way out but the clock is ticking . . .
