Bernie D, prosecutor in the George Zimmerman's case, almost had a slam-dunk in his closing today, but he left out the dunk part. He got out of the gate light a thoroughbred and finished up like a pack mule as he (forgive the expression) droned on and on. At least no Americans were killed in his droning.
The next step will be the defense summation and that should be interesting. O'Mara has a calm demeanor and seems very bright.
So this case is going to go to the jury very soon, and how long it will take to come to a verdict is anyone's guess. But the real story isn't about Zimmerman's innocence or guilt, the real story is about the left, and I'm talking about people as high in the food chain as Obama, who want this to be made a racial issue and again put a wedge in the center of this country. In an article that discusses the left's involvement in not only spinning the story this way, but in actually paying people to protest and create a scene with strong racial implications, go here .
The point is, Obama got involved and it's clear that the DoJ is involved in this case. If both Zimmerman and Martin were both black or both white, this would be a non-story.
