Media Matters: Watchdog or Obama Lap Dog?

Even paranoids have enemies, but most of the time their true enemies are in their crazy head.  David Brock, the high, exalted, superior, bonafied leader of Media Matters, a left wing public-funded institution, (more on that later) is the poster boy for paranoid, and has his own enemy list consisting of conservatives in the media that matters to the majority of the country.

It has been alleged that Brock is using illicit drugs and has body guards to protect him from the deep recesses of his mind that keeps whispering, "The conservatives are out to get you, be afraid; be very afraid." The dude has dudes carrying Glocks to ensure his safety, according to The Daily Caller, and he's reached the point where he probably has one of his minions flush the toilet for him lest it blow up in his face, or elsewhere, (that's my guess, not the Daily Caller's).  In interviews with past and present Media Matters staff, it was said about Brock: "He had more security than a Third World dictator," explaining how he cannot go anywhere without his body guards, and they, allegedly, are packing heat where heat is banned--for example, in Washington D.C.

Brock founded Media Matters in 2004 and since that time, it has become instrumental in getting conservative journalists and media personalities fired from their jobs. They bragged about getting rid of Don Imus, Lou Dobbs, and Glenn Beck, mostly for having different points of view politically, but in Imus's case, for making a comment about Rutgers University cheerleaders, when Imus was on MSNBC. Racial pawn broker, Al Sharpton was all over that case--this is how Sharpton makes his money, and now makes it on MSNBC as resident race baiter.

Liberals cannot tolerate opinions that oppose theirs, but rather than debate them, they want to shut them up.  Conservatives are happy to let liberals talk and talk, because they make the case by what they say for becoming a conservative.

The staffers who spoke to the DC told of "reporters" who were fed information by Media Matters and spit out whatever they were told.  Some of them are: Greg Sargent of Plum Line, his Washington Post blog; Ben Smith, formerly of Politico and now at BuzzFeed.com; Eugene Robinson and E.J. Dionne of the Washington Post.  All of the people (I cannot call them "reporters" twice in the same paragraph), seem to represent those lazy leftists who want stuff for nothing, like the Occupy Something Unwashed want stuff they didn't earn.  But in this case, a situation where American journalism is involved, these people have disgraced our sacred trust.  Sure there's freedom of the press guaranteed in our First Amendment of the Constitution, but this is not honest press, and these charlatans know it.

It is sickening to see what is happening to our country.  Our values have no value anymore--election results cannot be trusted, the news media is disreputable, and we have a president who is so blatantly arrogant that he cannot admit his mistakes, his blunders, and his total incompetence in running our country.

Liberals
There is much more to this story and I will be blogging again tomorrow to fill in some of the gaps.  This is big--this is about a company that is receiving taxpayer funding from you and me, and is using that money for a totally slanted agenda.  If this was a Republican organization doing it, I would be just as angry--freedom of the press trumps political party every time. Just like freedom of religion, which, as you know, is being trampled on by the same arrogant person.  Now does my having this opinion make me a racist? If so, then we have even less freedom to speak our minds than I could imagine.

If you are interested in terrorism and suspense, I have provided 2 links (below) for a hard copy (soft cover) edition and an eBook edition of my latest novel, Jihad Joe.  It's a story about Zed Nill, a New York based reporter, taken hostage by Islamic terrorists.  He must escape, or be beheaded the following day . . . the clock is ticking.
