I Lied, So Sue Me

I promised myself and my readers that I would not talk about Anthony Weiner, nee Putz, after my last blog about his sextextcapades two days ago. But with all that is happening with the Weiner, his family, his constituents, and the Democratic party, I simply had to get back into the fray. It's an extremely interesting situation, especially if you're the kind of person who, like me, is amazed at the elasticity of the ego and the sicker side of politics.

A Match Made in Washington
Weiner, like many politicians and virtually all liberals, believes that because he is on the side of truth, justice, and the American way, he can do anything he wants because he has earned it through his heroic efforts at making our country great. What's even more incredible than his claims is the recent pole (no, not his) taken among his constituents whereby 56% of them still support him in spite of his professional and marital misconduct-- he'd been tweeting and texting various young women online, and photographing himself and sending rather explicit shots to women. What I believe this shows the American people is that 56% in his district who support weiner are immoral & have bad judgment, while the others just have bad judgment.  In addition, it was also learned that his wife, Huma Abedin, is pregnant with their first child, a child the couple created using the same technique that Mr. Weiner suggested he try out with at least one of the female internet acquaintances.

Weiner Needing a "Time Out"
Through all of this difficulty with the liberal media and his fellow Democrats throwing him under the bus, and all the Twitterers twittering about the twit called Weiner, the senator remained strong to his committment and pledge he made to himself. He loudly and forcefully proclaimed that he will not resign. If he did, his resignation would further inflate the nation's already high unemployment numbers and, as a great American and a person who isn't very good at doing anything else, he was planning on staying in Washington a very long time.

They couldn't believe they got caught
Sometimes wonderful things come out of bad situations and the messy Weiner case is no exception. Huma, his beautiful and adoring big with seed wife of several months, is standing by her man. If you were surprised to learn that a Muslim woman married a Jewish man, well, stand in line and take a number. But if you're even more surprised to learn that a certain, shall we say, imam, counciled Mrs. Weiner to stay with her man, well you're just as surprised as me, but that is exactly what happened. Imagine that, an imam, a man of Islam, the one religion that looks at Jews as the scourge of the earth, and he is telling Huma to hang in there and support her husband. Now what reason could there be for that? I suppose a conspiracy theorist might claim that the imam wants Huma to stay close to Capitol Hill where the seats of power render policy and law. Perhaps she can eventually have political power of her own and render Sharia policy. That's a nice conspiracy theory. The really scary part is that it doesn't sound all that crazy, but let's just wait and see.

Weiner lied, but after he was challenged about that lie, he did what any good liberal does--he lied to cover up his lie. Politicians who lie never think they'll get caught, but they usually do just for that reason. These liars seem to all have the same facial expression. It isn't the shame of being caught, nor is it the humiliation of being found out. It's the anger that they didn't get away with it. A picture is worth a thousand words.

Handing in his resignation would be the most honorable thing for Weiner to do, and by gum, Anthony Weiner would never be accused of that. Never. He plans to go down in flames. I suspect he will.
