CIA employee who leaked classified docs re: Israel's plans to strike Iran will plead guilty

Well, here we have another fine example of how the internal workings of the intelligence community can become as leaky as a sieve. As if William Rahman, a CIA employee since 2016, decided it was his personal mission to become the unofficial town crier of classified information. On Friday, he pleaded guilty to charges that he not only retained but also merrily transmitted national defense secrets, according to the US Department of Justice.

In his own words, or rather, in the legal confession that he made, Rahman admitted to having downloaded, printed, and distributed classified documents. Not once, but several times throughout 2024. In the spring, he was caught with his hands in the cookie jar of secrets, printing five documents labeled 'secret' and 'top secret', taking them home like they were his personal reading material. He then engaged in a bit of home-based espionage, altering these documents before distributing them to those who had no legal right to see them.

To cover his tracks, he deleted his digital footprints, returned the documents to the CIA for shredding, and presumably patted himself on the back for his cleverness. But, as autumn turned the leaves, he repeated this performance, this time with ten more top-secret documents.

The plot thickens—or rather, the leak widens—on October 17, 2024, when he printed two documents detailing Israel's plans to strike Iran. These plans, which were supposed to stay within the confines of secure briefings, found themselves on the internet, courtesy of a pro-Iranian Telegram channel named "Middle East Spectator".

Rahman, aged 34, from Vienna, Virginia, now faces the consequences of his actions in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. One wonders if the irony of leaking secrets to protect one's own secrets is lost on him.

This case is not just about one man's indiscretions; it's a stark reminder of the fragility of our security apparatus when individuals decide to play fast and loose with national secrets. It's a narrative that could be straight out of a spy novel, if only it weren't so disturbingly real.

Senate unanimously passes bill to declassify COVID intel

The Senate unanimously passed a bill on Wednesday that demands the Mumbles administration to declassify all the "intelligence"  related to the Wuhan Institute of Virology and its links to the COVID-19 virus that the US medical profession, among others, covered up. This comes following the Department of Energy's conclusion that the coronavirus pandemic stemmed from a laboratory leak, and not the wet market down the block. What the DOE has to do with investigation such things is beyond the scope of this blog.

The bill was introduced by Sens. Josh Hawley (R-MO) and Mike Braun (R-IN) and amazingly passed the Senate in unanimous consent, but it now has to go to the House where the pro-China Democrats already signaled

Now the bill goes to the House where the pro-China Democrats have signaled that they oppose the bill that they oppose such a measure arguing that such matters of declassification should be made by a cognitively impaired old man who needs assistance walking up stairs and walking off stage, but still has a "special relationship" with China and Dr. Anthony Fauci.

"We believe in letting committees of jurisdiction guide the discussions ahead, working with the administration and asking the administration tough questions," House Democratic Caucus Chair Pete Aguilar, (D-CA) said Wednesday.

"And when we can do that in a way that can be shared with the American public we will, but declassification conversations are best left to the executive," he claimed.

Still, with Republicans holding a slim majority in the House, the measure is likely to succeed and the American public can decide just how deep into Chinese corruption some top politicians are, not to mention Hunter Biden.

In an interview with Fox News that aired Tuesday, FBI Director Chris Wray said "the FBI has for quite some time now assessed that the origins of the pandemic are most likely a potential lab incident in Wuhan."

But the American people weren't told this and instead were treated like mushrooms--kept in the dark and fed bull crap.

Chief Justice Roberts likely to call for FBI investigation into leaked SCOTUS draft: leftists pounce

As CBS reported, Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts will probably order a full investigation by the FBI into the unprecedented leak of a draft majority opinion indicating the Court might overturn the 1973 Roe v. Wade landmark ruling regarding abortion.

CBS Mornings tweeted Monday morning:
Chief Justice Roberts is likely to order a full investigation involving the FBI into the reported leak of a draft majority opinion, reports @JanCBS — as some question if it will throw the Supreme Court’s legitimacy into question. pic.twitter.com/rJsIlQqjEU

While it isn't yet known who in the Court released the leaked draft, Politico was the first to report on it Monday evening.

Roberts, who is obviously not a constitutional contextualist, was initially said to have not signed on with majority opinion along with the other five conservative justices who allegedly held that “Roe was egregiously wrong from the start.”

Textualism interprets the U.S. Constitution with a focus on the plain meaning of the text of a legal document and emphasizes how the wording in the Constitution would be understood by people at the time they were ratified and the context in which those terms appear.

Justice Alito writes in the draft of the majority opinion:
“We hold that Roe and Casey must be overruled. It is time to heed the Constitution and return the issue of abortion to the people’s elected representatives.”
Politico reported, “The three Democratic-appointed justices – Stephen Breyer, Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan – are working on one or more dissents, according to the person. How Chief Justice John Roberts will ultimately vote, and whether he will join an already written opinion or draft his own, is unclear.” Because Roberts never wants to "rock the boat," and Sotomayor is a dolt.

After the leak on Monday night, the typical crowd of unattractive abortion supporters comprised of people with birth canals and others with twigs and berries, appeared near the Supreme Court building, along with supporters of those who do not agree that innocent babies should be killed.

Some experts believe the leak was a political move to pressure the justices and throw shade on the other issues leftists worry or whine about: the filibuster, Joe Biden's brain atrophy, and the November midterm elections.

Carrie Severino, president of the Judicial Crisis Network, told The Daily Wire “That type of leak is an outrageous betrayal of trust. The Supreme Court is the only institution in town that doesn’t leak, and to do this is a real attack on the institution of the court. Not to mention just an outrageous breach of trust to the justices to do so.”

So not only does Joe Biden leak, along with the rest of Capitol Hill in a different way, now we have a leak in the Supreme Court. If the leaker cannot be identified, perhaps all the clerks need to go. But with the FBI on the case, we would have a better chance of finding him or her with The Paw Patrol.
