Greece extending its wall, sends more border guards amid fears of illegal influx from Afghanistan

While the U.S. has its arms open wide at our southern border and at airports where Afghan immigrants are being flown in, Greece is taking a different stance on illegal immigration and the lack of vetting of the clusterfrack of Afghans who are trying to get into their country--they are increasing their border guard numbers along its border with Turkey and have extended its wall to keep illegal aliens from entering without scrutiny.

It appears that Greece is treating illegal immigrants a lot like coronavirus infiltrators.

Just because Greece has no idea of how many terrorists are hiding among the illegal immigrants, and just because Greece doesn't want illegal immigrants who will add a burdensome financial drain to an already damaged economy, and a substantial number of whom are COVID-19 positive, is no reason to prevent them from making the country go down the proverbial toilet of self-destruction.

Soon, some 250 officers will join the 1,500 border force along with an additional 800 extra border guards who will be hired to protect airports and regions close to the Greece-Turkey border.

In direct counterpoint to the United States, Greece has toughened its immigration policy and policing of their border. They have, in addition to extending the wall, installed a sophisticated high-tech surveillance network to deter asylum-seekers from sneaking into the country.

The increase in staffing comes on the heels of the Taliban victory in Afghanistan.

Greece, Poland, and Lithuania were among 12 countries that sent a letter to the European Commission last week to call for more extensive EU measures against illegal immigration.

Greece has denied mounting allegations from human rights groups that migrants caught after crossing into Greece are being deported without being allowed to claim asylum. It's almost as if Greece can smell bull crap better than Joe Biden who is too busy smelling hair.

It's about time: Trump makes major move to build the wall

Getty Images/Alex Wong

BREAKING -- The Trump administration is reportedly planning to divert $3.6 billion from military construction projects to build the border wall on the southern border. If he can do it, it's goodbye Joe Biden and Liz Warren and hello to four more years.

Politico, a far left leaning media outlet reported that the administration has already began calling lawmakers whose congressional districts "will take a hit," as a result of the decision that was one of President Trump's main campaign promises.

"Defense Secretary Mark Esper called Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Tuesday to detail the cash grab, explaining that about half of the funding will come from military construction projects outside the United States and half will come from projects within the country," Politico reported, using the term cash grab to sound as if Trump is stealing the money from the people, rather than living up to the promise he made to those who elected him.

The move comes after the United States Supreme Court ruled in late July that the Trump administration could use $2.5 billion in military funding to build the border wall, but that's chicken feed in terms of the total cost for such a project.

It should not come as a surprise to find that the left will try to challenge the Trump administration in court, in spite of their claim that they want to do what's best for the undocumented immigrants who wouldn't put their kids in danger if they knew the journey would be fruitless.

This story is still developing.

Robert O'Rourke 'out-stupids' the field of 2020 contenders [so far] on border wall

Just when you thought that Rep. Alexandria Obviously Communist-Cortex (Dummy-NY) was the dumbest person in politics, with just a slight lead over NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) and his brother Chris, along comes Almost Senator Robert [aka Beto] O'Rourke (Loser--TX) with a breathtakingly dumb proposal.

O'Rourke, sans skateboard, was asked by MSNBC's "All In With Chris Hayes" to answer a question posed to him on Twitter by former Navy SEAL, war hero, and newly elected Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX):
"If you could snap your fingers and make El Paso’s border wall disappear, would you?"
Bob O, recently back from a journey into the heartland and transcribing his heavy thoughts in his diary, [a suggestion made to him by Jim Acosta], said on Thursday that he would "absolutely" tear down the border wall and let freedom ring, as he broke out his trusty guitar, the very same one he riffed on with "Foss," and sang the Fred Neil song by that title.

Liberals who identified as women "creamed in their jeans" and nearly swooned. Some even wanted to have his baby to abort.

Crenshaw's tweet also said"
"Because this DHS graph shows that when the wall was built, illegal crossings dropped significantly."
"If you could, would you take the wall down now?" Hayes asked. "Knock it down?"
Foss and the Fearless Fossdicks
"Yes, absolutely," O'Rourke answered. "I would take the wall down after I had my teeth cleaned. Check these beauties out, Chris," he said as he opened his mouth.

O’Rourke’s comments come after his rally on Monday night in El Paso where he claimed that walls kill people, which makes as much sense as farting cows, cars and planes will kill us all in twelve years.

"With the eyes of the country upon us, all of us together are going to make our stand, here in one of the safest cities in the United States of America -- safe not because of walls, but in spite of walls," O’Rourke said with facts proving otherwise. "We treat each other with dignity and respect. That is the way we make our community and our country safe."

"Walls do not save lives," O’Rourke added in a tone that actually sounded as if he had facts to back up his claim. "They end lives." Duh. That is really the winner of the Dumbass Awards for 2019.
Existing border barriers on the southern border have already proven to be highly effective but it also has a negative effect on the Democratic Party as they hope to harvest Democrats from the influx of illegal immigrants and criminals.

"Of course nothing is impenetrable or foolproof, but the fencing in Yuma, Arizona, is a great example of what works," The Hill reported. "Since its construction in 2005, it has yielded better than a 90 percent drop in illegal traffic. Similar numbers have been registered at other physical barriers in San Diego, El Paso, Texas, and Tucson, Arizona, since their construction."

Again, that isn't what Democrats want.

Insofar as the effectiveness of walls on illegal crossings into a country, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu tweeted: "President Trump is right. I built a wall along Israel's southern border. It stopped all illegal immigration. Great success. Great idea."

In fact [something the left hates] after Israel built a wall, they saw a 99% reduction in illegal immigration

But the Democratic Party doesn't particularly want to listen to the Israeli PM. In fact, there are a number of people in that Party who would like to see Israel and the Jews wiped off the map altogether. Ilhan Omar (DJ-MN) and Rashid Tlaib (D-MI) for example. And the acceptance of anti-Semitism by the Democrats is quite disturbing, but that's another issue for another time.

As the border battle has escalated in Washington, D.C., the RNC launched a website that contained some facts about the crisis on the border:

Fact #1: In four Customs and Border Protection sectors where physical barriers have been expanded — El Paso, Yuma, Tucson, and San Diego — illegal traffic has dropped by at least 90%.

Fact #2: In fiscal year 2018, U.S. Border Patrol seized or helped seize 282,000 pounds of cocaine, 248,000 pounds of methamphetamine, 6,500 pounds of heroin, and 2,400 pounds of fentanyl.

Fact #3: In 2018, over 17,000 adults arrested at the border had prior criminal records. This included over 6,000 gang members, a major number of those members were from MS-13.

Fact #4: The Democrats would rather risk the safety of hard-working Americans than work with President Trump to secure our nation’s borders. But in 2013, all 54 Senate Democrats, including Chuck Schumer, voted to pass legislation that provided $46 billion to build a physical barrier on the border.

Fact #5: Nancy "Dancing Hands" Pelosi and her leftist Congressional colleagues just passed a bill to hand over $54 BILLION to foreign governments, but Democrats won’t allow just $5 billion to secure our borders and protect American citizens.

That's seditious.

Another caravan preparing to attack the southern border

The Washington Post "fact-checkers" checking the facts are not checking off the box that asks if the migrant situation is getting worse because, let's face it, we're talking about the leftist Washington Post," the paper now preferred by Mitt Romney.

"Another migrant caravan is forming in Honduras, with plans to set out next week on a journey that will once again test the immigration policies of Mexico and the United States," the Washington Post reported.

The Post notes that, as with the previous caravan, a flier was "circulating on Honduran social media" announcing the plan to form a new group to head north. The flier provides the location where the new caravan is gathering — San Pedro Sula, a city close to the northern Honduran border — and says the group will set out at 5 a.m. on Jan. 15. "We're looking for refuge," the flier reads. "In Honduras, we are being killed."

Which may be partially true, but it's also possible and fairly likely that those who are doing some of the killing are in the caravan coming here. We have no foolproof way of knowing this for a fact, but we have plenty of Democratic fools in Washington who don't care about facts.

The Mexican government is now preparing for the new caravan's arrival at the southern border with Guatemala, interior minister Olga Sánchez Cordero said Monday at a press conference.

After having failed to stop thousands of migrants from illegally crossing into the country last year, Sánchez Cordero said this time they plan to more effectively lock down the border, in part by placing guards at 370 potential crossing points, the Post reports.

Like many in the previous caravan, which included around 7,000 migrants, the Honduran migrants who manage to make it into Mexico and to its northern border to apply for asylum in the U.S. will likely end up finding themselves having to wait in Mexico while their applications are processed, thanks to a deal between the Trump administration and Mexican government in order to keep asylum seekers south of the border during the process.

Though most of the migrants from the previous caravan have found themselves stuck in Mexico, the Post notes that down in Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala, "there is a widespread perception that the earlier group succeeded."

This is what's known as "propaganda," folks.

With pressure over the government shutdown mounting, President Trump gave his first national address from the Oval Office Tuesday on the "growing humanitarian and security crisis at our southern border," a situation further inflamed by the migrant caravan late last year.

The press went into what they called "fact checking" mode, which merely indicates what their interpretation of the facts are and discarding facts that don't matter to them.

"Every day, Customs and Border Patrol agents encounter thousands of illegal immigrants trying to enter our country," the President said. "We are out of space to hold them and we have no way to promptly return them back home to their country. America proudly welcomes millions of lawful immigrants who enrich our society and contribute to our nation, but all Americans are hurt by uncontrolled illegal migration. It strains public resources and drives down jobs and wages. Among those hardest hit are African Americans and Hispanic Americans."

The latter statement is a fact that the media doesn't mention. As we take in more and more low-skilled labor, those with jobs in this area will either have to accept less pay or find another low-skilled job, if they can.

What we need now is for Jim Acosta to go down to the border wall again, and show the nation just how great walls work.

Will 2019 be the year you follow Brain Flushings and have a few laughs while you get a conservative viewpoint? Let's hope so, because politics is the new NFL without the mindless kneeling and this blog will both inform you and hopefully entertain you bigly.

Triple amputee veteran tries to collect $1 Pelosi pledged for border wall

Brian Kolfage is a triple-amputee war veteran and the founder of the GoFundMe page "We The People Will Fund The Wall." The wall, of course, is the U.S.-Mexico border wall President Trump promised during his campaign. Brian went to Washington, D.C. after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said she would give one dollar to fund the wall, and he wants he to put her money where her mouth and her dancing hands are.

Last week, the California Democrat mockingly said she'd give a single dollar for the barrier that President Trump has been pushing since his campaign in 2016. In a press conference, Pelosi was asked by a reporter if there was "any situation in which you would accept even a dollar of wall funding?"

"A dollar?" she said, looking confused as reporters laughed. "A dollar? One dollar?" she said, holding up her index finger and mugging for the camera. "Yeah, one dollar."

So Brian decided to try to go collect the buck.

"We are going to meet with Nancy Pelosi to collect our one dollar that she said she was going to give toward Trump's border wall, " Kolfage says in a Daily Caller video as he rolls along in his wheelchair. "I highly doubt she expected anyone to kind of take her serious and call her out on it, but we're going to see if she'll fess up and give us her buck."

"We're taking one dollar at a time to build that wall," he said. In fact, Kolfage's campaign has raised $19,294,995 of a $1 billion goal from 319,896 people in 20 days.

Kolfage wasn't expecting much as he rolled into the Capitol's visitor center. "I'm sure if this goes through and she meets with me and has like an honest discussion, I think that she's probably going to try to spin for her own agenda," he said.

On his page, Kolfage, a Purple Heart recipient, supports Trump's efforts to build a barrier at the border. In fact, anyone in their right mind supports Trump's efforts to build the wall.

"Like a majority of those American citizens who voted to elect President Donald J Trump, we voted for him to Make America Great Again. President Trump’s main campaign promise was to BUILD THE WALL. And as he’s followed through on just about every promise so far, this wall project needs to be completed still," Kolfage wrote.

"As a veteran who has given so much, 3 limbs, I feel deeply invested to this nation to ensure future generations have everything we have today. Too many Americans have been murdered by illegal aliens and too many illegals are taking advantage of the United States taxpayers with no means of ever contributing to our society."

"I have grandparents who immigrated to America legally, they did it the correct way and it's time we uphold our laws, and get this wall BUILT! It’s up to Americans to help out and pitch in to get this project rolling," he said.

Walls work. Ask people in Israel after they built a wall due to the ongoing terrorist attacks they were experiencing by Hamassholes. They built a wall in the area where it was happening and the attacks virtually stopped in that area.

But it's obvious Pelosi, like the rest of those in her party, don't want to keep illegal immigrants out because they are potential Democratic voters. If we all knew they'd vote GOP, the wall would make Jack's beanstalk look like asparagus.

Well here we are in the beginning of a new year and the world still hasn't come to an end with President Trump in the White House, in spite of what the media and the left [but I repeat myself] would have you believe.

Getting past the wall by any means necessary

Shovel ready illegal migration
When President Trump went all out to hawk the border wall, a GoFundMe page was created to pay for it because the Democrats refused to go along with it which would allow him to succeed. But when the left saw that the public was digging into their pockets to fund it privately, they created a GoFundMe page to buy ladders to scale the wall.

Now Rigo Torres, a guy from Florida, created another GoFundMe page known as "Support Tunnels Under Trumps Wall" campaign to collect money to build a tunnel to go under the wall. It has been shared on social media over 300,000 times.

"To the thousands of people raising money for a wall...... I’m raising money to supply tunnel builders with shovels...... I’m sure we won’t need the $150,000,000 but In all reality who gives a shit..... let’s see how much I can raise...." he writes using a Tom Perez-like potty mouth style.

"The American Civil Liberties Union which is focused on defending the rights of immigrant families and says it 'won't stop fighting until families are reunited.' The organization already has raised over $1 million, thanks in part to donations from celebrities like musician John Legend and his wife Chrissy Teigen. Let’s help these kids and parents be together and spend time with family, and not in detention centers...." Torres writes on and on.

But by Dec. 28, the page had collected only $2,995 of a $15 million goal from 256 people.

Another new page recently popped up, created by Charlotte Clymer, a guy who thinks he's a woman. He is also an Army veteran and human rights activist from Texas. The GoFundMe page is titled "Ladders to Get Over Trump's Wall."

"We saw some folks are raising money for a border wall to keep out our migrant siblings and fellow human beings, who are fleeing violence and persecution and whose tragically-underpaid labor is essential to the U.S. economy. Seems like a bad idea on countless levels for everyone involved. Maybe we should focus on human rights and creating a community that reflects our supposed values," Clymer wrote on the page.

That page has raised $153,965 of $100 million goal in eight days from 6,854 contributors.

Both campaigns pale in comparison to the “We The People Will Fund The Wall” campaign started by Purple Heart veteran and triple amputee Brian Kolfage has raised $17,814,670 of $1 billion goal from 293,413 people in 11 days.

With the recent murder of a California police officer, Cpl. Ronil Singh, the public seems to be getting disgusted with the stagnation of the government to get things done as they would rather do anything that opposes the president--never mind those of us who elected him.

It's obvious the nation needs immigration reform and new ways of discouraging illegal border crossings. A wall would be a psychological deterrent and perhaps an actual physical barrier too. Ensuring that people who enter illegally are never allowed to work would clearly create a negative incentive and stop a large portion of migration.

Let the government figure it out, but we need our sovereignty as a country. The cost of a wall, say $5 billion or so, is like pizza money compared to our budget spending. It's obvious the Democrats are standing firm against immigration reform because it would be a Trump win.

But really, it would be a win for America.

Pelosi: 'The border wall is immoral'

Nancy "Dancing Hands" Pelosi (D-Calif.) spoke and gestured at a press conference Thursday as she is yet again, the presumptive incoming Speaker of the House. She criticized the idea of having a border wall to protect U.S. sovereignty and enhance our ability to screen who comes into the country.

She said that a border wall is "immoral" when asked by a reporter about the chances that a Continuing Resolution (CR) passed by the House of Representatives might fund the project. Pelosi's incoherent response was that such funding is for "border security." She thinks a wall, like the one around her home for security, goes a step too far.

She waved her hands around as she searched her failing mind for the right words and spaketh in dentures and tongues:
". . . most of us, speaking for myself, consider the wall immoral, ineffective, expensive, and the president said he promised it. He also promised Mexico would pay for it. So, even if they did, it's immoral still . . .
"We have a responsibility, all of us, to secure our borders – north, south, and coming in by plane...and that's a responsibility we honor, but we do so by honoring our values as well."
And let us never forget that even those coming here illegally who belong to MS-13 or other gangs, or have criminal records, DUI's, drug crimes, and other felonies, still have a spark of that good ole "Pelosi divinity."

The battle over the wall, a campaign promise of a southern border wall, hit a fever pitch as the House and Senate on Thursday passed a stopgap spending bill, [as has become a political habit], in order to continue funding the government and avoid a shutdown. Both parties have until December 21 to devise a budget plan.

Democratic leaders were supposed to meet with President Trump this week, but the meeting had to be rescheduled following the death of former President George H.W. Bush and a funeral that would make a king blush if he weren't dead.

The meeting will now take place on Tuesday morning.

I know of one way we can save some spending that can then be redirected for the wall: stop funding Planned Parenthood! That should have been done when Trump first sat in the Oval Office and the House and Senate had a GOP majority.

On Thursday, Senate Minority Leader Chuck "Meganostrils" Schumer (D-NY) echoed Pelosi's feelings about a border wall, whining:
"As everyone knows, Democrats have offered to pass the bipartisan DHS appropriations bill, agreed to six months ago, which includes $1.6 billion for border security.
"Now there has been some confusion about that figure. Let me be clear: the $1.6 billion cannot be used to construct any part of President Trump’s 30-foot-tall concrete border wall. It can only be used for fencing, using technology currently deployed at the border, and only where the experts say fencing is appropriate and makes sense as a security feature. This is something Democrats have always been for – smart, effective, appropriate border security.
"This is so good that every Republican appropriator signed off on that bill a few months ago, including Leader McConnell, Senator Shelby, Senator Rubio, and Senator Graham. They were all for it. This is a bipartisan compromise proposal. Now if they cannot go for that, the proposal they signed off on and negotiated, because President Trump is pounding on the table in an irrational way, there’s a second option."
Time is running out for the GOP's power options. They have until January 3rd to get something done. Trump needs to put his tweeting on hold long enough to get things done--even if it's just defunding PP.

And forget Mexico--ain't gonna happen.

GOP bill to make it tougher for illegal aliens to 'disappear' after being released

Sen. James Inhofe (R-OK) will be introducing a bill aimed at preventing illegal aliens, who are detained once crossing the border, from disappearing into the country due to overcrowding in detention centers.

The Oklahoma senator said the U.S. detention facilities release thousands of illegal immigrants into the country every year and provide them with a court date, [which is really ridiculous since few ever return].

They broke the law to come here, so why would they honor the law to be put out of the country?

"What they should do is send them back to the country they came from until their court date," Inhofe told the Washington Examiner. "But as it is now, they just give them a court date and they turn them over to church groups and others and they just disappear and they end up in our society" [and sanctuary cities give them more rights than those of American citizens].

Inhofe met with officials at the Port Isabel Service Processing Center in Los Fresnos, a 1,200 bed facility that receives illegal immigrants who cross the border. He said facility officials couldn't provide information about the illegals it releases to prevent overcrowding when new illegal immigrants are delivered to them and the beds are needed.

Senator Inhofe will introduce a bill that would call for processing asylum seekers in Mexico before they cross the border. This would ensure applicants will appear for their hearings before they enter the U.S.

A second bill Inhofe wants to introduce would limit where illegal immigrants can go once released from a detention center. [How they can ensure this is unclear, unless they make them swallow a GPS pill.]

In 2017, a former Miami immigration judge, Mark H. Metcalf, wrote a report claiming almost one million illegal immigrants may have disobeyed deportation orders and have remained in the United States. The report, written for the low-immigration advocacy group Center for Immigration Studies, says the immigration courts have a huge backlog.

Metcalf says 46,000 illegal aliens fail to appear for court cases each year and are probably living in the U.S.

However, many virtue-signaling leftist groups for immigration rights oppose expanding detention facilities. They say conditions are inhumane for the future Democratic voters and the cost to taxpayers is too high--something they never worry about unless it fits their political agenda.

President Trump wants immigration detention facilities to be expanded but the American Civil Liberties Union wants them abolished altogether in spite of the fact that illegal immigrants aren't Americans nor are they privy to the same rights and benefits as Americans.

"The 'lock 'em up' approach to detention is contrary to common sense and our fundamental values," ACLU officials wrote on their issues blog. "In America, liberty should be the norm for everyone--and detention the last resort."

This obviously makes the case for a serious border wall. Then there would e no need for detention facilities and all immigrants, legal and illegal, would have to wait their turn to enter the greatest country on Earth.

Migrants scoff at Trump's wall and promise to go over it

Tijuana, Mexico -- With breathtaking arrogance, Eladio Sanchez made it clear that he isn't going to let a little border wall stop him from coming into the United States if he wants to.

Sanchez has seen the
eight border wall prototypes near his house in Tijuana. At age 30, he has already sneaked across the border several times and believes that Trump's eventual wall will have about as much an effect on stopping illegal migration as Flex Seal tape would have had on stopping the Titanic from sinking.

Speaking from his home, he pointed to the only wall with an angular barrier at the top, a concrete structure built by Texas Sterling Construction Company, saying that it might slow him down a bit more than the others, but like yo man, no problemo. "You can get over it anyway," he told AFP.

"It's just a little more complicated. But people are always looking for a way to get over--out of necessity, not because we want to."

Which says a lot about Mexico.

Not a prototype
President Trump's visit to the prototypes may look like symbolic slaps to the face after he called some Mexican immigrants "criminals" and "rapists." That probably wasn't the smartest thing to say and it has hurt relationships between our two countries.

Each 30 foot tall prototype costs $300,000 to $500,000 each. To cover about 2,000 miles of border, it will cost taxpayers up to $20 billion, although Trump still insists that Mexico will pay for it.

Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto canceled plans (for the second time) to visit Washington recently over this issue.

"He firmly repeated what all Mexicans have always said: We will never pay for a wall on the border," said Foreign Minister Luis Videgaray.

Approximately 11 million illegal aliens live in the USA, many of them Mexican or other Latino. "They are the proof that it's possible to get through. More Mexicans are getting through all the time," said Sergio Tamai, founder of the immigrant advocacy group Angels Without Borders.

"The desert. The mountains. Human traffickers. You can't take away that desire to cross to the other side. That desire to build a better life for your family is such a strong, powerful energy."

It sure beats making your own country a better place to live.

"Everything is more difficult with Trump. He's really racist," says Carmelo Alfaro, 56, a former gardener in San Francisco and a member of the Mexican race.

Alfaro was deported recently for disregarding the sovereignty of the USA and refusing to wait in line to obtain legal residency and eventually citizenship, like many before him.

But that isn't how liberals see his "plight."

Illegal border crossings surge back to Obama levels

According to the latest data released Friday, illegal immigration across the Southwest border is back to Obama-era levels (aka Obama error). So the gains touted by President Trump when he first took office, are gone by the wayside.

Build that wall.

Nearly 40,000 illegal immigrants (yes, people who commit illegal acts and are not American citizens are illegal immigrants) were nabbed as they tried to jump the border in November. That's up about 12 percent since October and over twice the monthly numbers from March and April when President Trump was speaking of his accomplishments.

The rise in families traveling together has surged 45 percent last month and unaccompanied minors traveling without parents rose 26 percent in November.

However, Homeland Security said that overall, things are better than Obama's worst years, which is like a woman saying that things were better when her boyfriend stopped beating her every day and only struck her on alternate days.

Tyler Q. Houlton (Quentin? Quincy? Quigley? Quaid? Quon?) said, "Under President Trump, illegal immigration has declined dramatically over the last year." But he admitted more needs to be done.

There were 29,086 people caught by Border Patrol, and 9,920 caught trying to enter through official ports of entry without permission. This total is still less than 2015 or 2016, but it's more than 2012, 2013 or 2014.

Last week the Trump administration bragged over its overall gains, but admitted to their concerns over the latest trends.

Build the wall.

Mexico Pres. will not meet with POTUS

Mexico President Enrique Pena Nieto canceled his plans to meet with President Trump in the aftermath of the latter's ongoing tweets demanding Mexico pay for a border wall. However, according to Mr. Trump, who spoke Thursday in Philadelphia, his first official visit and flight on Air Force One, it was he who decided to call off the meeting.

Is that an alternate reality?

Maybe not--Trump said in an early Thursday message that Nieto should cancel the visit to Washington if Mexico refuses to pay for the wall he has ordered to be constructed along the border and which he sees as a major campaign promise that he needs to deliver.

Nieto fired his own salvo on Twitter after Trump again called for Mexico to pay for the wall. He received a ton of calls to cancel the meeting.

Nieto said that Mexico doesn't believe in walls and this may be due to their willingness to allow their people to illegally enter the United States. A wall will put a damper on that.

"We have informed the White House that I will not attend the working meeting planned for next Tuesday with @POTUS," Nieto tweeted. "Mexico reiterates its willingness to work with the United States to reach agreements that favor both nations."

Relations with Mexico aren't at its best right now since Trump's campaign characterized Mexican migrants as murderers and rapists (although Trump admitted that "some" are good people).

Trump already signed the executive order for construction of the wall on the same day his aides spoke with Mexico's foreign minister.

After Nieto tweeted, the Mexican peso fell another 1 percent from an already deflated value.
