Michigan Democrat Mallory McMorrow Flees the Red Dawn She Helped Unleash, Leaving Michigan One Step Closer to the People's Republic of the Great Lakes

In a scene straight out of a Bolshevik fever dream, complete with hammer, sickle, and probably a few portraits of Che on the campaign wall, Democrat Michigan state senator Mallory McMorrow has suddenly suspended her campaign for U.S. Senate, just weeks before the August 4th primary. Comrades, the revolution is eating its own again.

This leaves the Democratic primary as a glorious two-way cage match between establishment moderate Rep. Haley Stevens (the Chuck Schumer-approved choice, because nothing says “fighting for the working class” like a career politician backed by super PACs) and the full-throated socialist Abdul El-Sayed, endorsed by the anti-Zionist deadbeat Comrade Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Obviously-Communist, the dynamic duo of “free stuff for everyone except the kulaks.”

McMorrow’s name stays on the ballot because, in true Democrat fashion, the ballots were already printed and mailed out like Soviet ration cards. The eventual winner, whichever flavor of leftism triumphs, will face former Rep. Mike Rogers in November for the seat being vacated by retiring Sen. Gary Peters.

This is a must-hold for the Democrats if they want to claw back the Senate from the evil, freedom-loving GOP, which currently holds a 53-47 edge. Nonpartisan handicappers call it a toss-up. Let's be serious, America is one bad primary away from the gulag

In her weepy little video on X, McMorrow offered no real reason for bailing. She just thanked her staff and supporters for a campaign powered by “small-dollar donations and no corporate PAC money.” Sure, Mallory. You built that plucky little progressive dream right up until the polls showed you getting steamrolled by both the corporate Dems and the actual Reds. Then poof; vanishing act.

But fear not, comrades! She pledged full support to whichever Democrat wins and faces off against Rogers. Quote: “So here's what we do next. Every day through November 3rd. We win this Senate seat and send Mike Rogers back to Florida for good. Whoever wins this primary on August 4th will have my full support.”

How touching. A true display of socialist solidarity, right before the knives come out.

Stevens, naturally, called McMorrow an “important voice” for Michigan families and positioned herself as the electable one who’ll “lower costs, protect manufacturing jobs, and stand up to Trump’s abuses of power.” Of course, Michigan's manufacturing is 'protected' by the party that plans to regulate, tax, and green-new-deal everything to death.

Meanwhile, El-Sayed, the man who would be America’s first Muslim senator and who looks at Bernie Sanders the way a lovesick teenager stares at a Che Guevara poster, praised McMorrow for challenging the “rigged system.” Quote: “Throughout this campaign, Senator McMorrow showed what it looks like to fight back against politics that rigs the system against too many of us. . . .  The same party insiders she had the courage to challenge have been bullying anyone who opposes their chosen candidate. . . . I welcome her supporters to our movement to stand up against money in politics, to put money back in pockets, and pass Medicare for All. We cannot allow the establishment to decide our nominee for us.”

So come join the glorious people’s struggle! We’ll abolish ICE, call Israel’s fight against Hamas “genocide,” demand single-payer socialism, and make sure the only people with money are the ones running the re-education camps.

This is the choice Michigan Democrats face: Schumer’s corporate shell or Bernie’s full Commie. El-Sayed wants Medicare for All, open borders, and to turn Michigan into a sanctuary state for every radical idea short of immediate collectivization of the auto plants. The establishment is terrified he’ll push the party so far left that even the state Trump carried by a whisker two years ago will finally go full Venezuela.

The NRSC nailed it: “Bernie Sanders’ radical socialist flank is completely taking over the Democrat Party.” Exactly. The mask is off. What used to be hidden behind flowery rhetoric about “progress” and “equity” is now out in the open: government control of health care, demonization of Israel, abolition of borders, and the slow march toward the dictatorship of the proletariat.

Michigan’s Senate primary has gone from clown car to flaming wreck. And the rest of America gets to watch as the Democrats decide exactly how fast they want to drive the country off the Marxist cliff.

God help us all if they win. The red flag is already waving over the primary. Next it’ll be over the Capitol.

NJ Dem congressional candidate has a history you wouldn't believe, or maybe you would

Adam Hamawy, running to represent the state’s 12th district, told prosecutors he had a years-long relationship with the so called cleric whose followers carried out the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

Hamawy is a New Jersey reconstructive surgeon, U.S. Army veteran who served as a combat trauma surgeon in Iraq, and now a Democratic candidate for Congress in NJ-12 to replace the retiring Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman. He shot to prominence by volunteering as a doctor in Gaza in 2024 at the European Hospital in Khan Younis, where he got briefly trapped after the Rafah crossing shut down.

The guy has racked up endorsements from all the usual suspects: Justice Democrats, CAIR Action, PAL PAC, Senator Comrade Bernie Sanders, Rep. Ro Khanna, and the rest of the pro-Palestine progressive crowd. His platform is the standard leftist greatest hits: Medicare for All, ending U.S. funding for Israel's military actions, and the ever-so-clever slogan "healthcare not bombs."

The real fireworks, as always with these candidates, center on his blistering criticism of Israel amid the Israel-Hamas war. Hamawy popped up on streamer Hasan Piker's show and came out swinging against U.S. funding for Israel's Iron Dome missile defense system. He argued it "insulates Israel from having to make decisions to make peace" and "isolates them from having to deal with the consequences," likening it to "giving a bully body armor." He backed a full arms embargo on Israel and insisted that Israelis need to "feel the effects of war" to get serious about peace.

That did not sit well with fellow progressive Democrat Sue Altman in the same primary. Altman accused him of "cheerleading and wishing for the deaths of Israeli children" and said she draws the line at rhetoric that seems to treat more Israeli civilian deaths as some kind of goal.

Hamawy's supporters immediately cried smear and Islamophobia, pointing to his humanitarian record (including saving Sen. Tammy Duckworth's life in Iraq). Altman eventually issued an apology (though it was apparently unwritten), which Hamawy graciously accepted. Critics, however, figured the damage from the inflammatory exchange was already done.

During and after his Gaza stint, Hamawy insisted he saw no weapons, no military presence, and "definitely no tunnels" under the European Hospital or places like Nasser. He described it as a purely civilian facility treating mostly civilians, many of them children, in the middle of the devastation. Later reports about Hamas command centers and tunnels under or near the hospital (including the strike that took out Mohammed Sinwar in a tunnel beneath it) led critics to call him naive, in denial, or worse. Hamawy and his backers stand by his firsthand medical observations and dismiss the rest.

A shiny new Super PAC called American Priorities (or PAL PAC) is dumping serious cash, around $2 million, to boost him as a counter to pro-Israel money in the race. There is also some past testimony linked to the "Blind Sheikh" from the 1993 World Trade Center bombing that conservative outlets have dusted off. His strong progressive bona fides get him cheers from the Sanders wing and eye rolls from everyone else who thinks his Israel rhetoric veers into antisemitism territory or puts civilians at risk.

Hamawy likes to frame it all as principled opposition to U.S.-funded wars and military aid overseas while focusing on domestic priorities like healthcare. To his fans he is a heroic humanitarian. To his detractors he is another example of the Democratic Party's lurch into territory that endangers allies and excuses terrorists. The NJ-12 primary remains a messy fight between the pro-Israel and anti-Israel factions as of early May 2026. For the unvarnished details, primary sources like the Jewish Insider piece or his own campaign site are worth a look.

Newsom PAC his biggest readers: they bought thousands of copies of his memoir and his tough life, spiking sales

In a development that surprised absolutely no one who has ever watched a Democrat try to game the system, Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s political action committee spent more than $1.5 million buying thousands of copies of his new memoir, accounting for about two-thirds of all copies sold nationwide, according to campaign finance filings.

The PAC spending helped propel Newsom’s memoir, "Young Man in a Hurry," onto the New York Times bestseller list and is raising new scrutiny as his national profile builds ahead of a possible 2028 presidential run.

In November, the Campaign for Democracy Committee launched a book campaign asking donors to contribute any amount to the PAC to receive the memoir when it was released on Feb. 24. Newsom spokesperson Nathan Click told the New York Times that the PAC bought about 67,000 copies, representing a substantial portion of the 97,400 total sold.

"We were thrilled with the response," Click told the New York Times. "Our goal was to deepen the relationship between him and the millions of folks who have already expressed support for Governor Newsom’s work."

Campaign finance filings reveal Gavin Newsom's PAC bought 67,000 copies of his memoir for over $1.5 million amid his 2024 presidential positioning. The PAC made two payments totaling over $1.5 million to Porchlight Book Company, according to a FEC filing posted on Wednesday and reviewed by Fox News Digital. The governor will not receive royalties from the books sold through the campaign, the New York Times reported.

The Joker

When asked about the book's ranking on the best seller list, a New York Times spokesperson explained the outlet places a dagger symbol on the list to indicate when a book's ranking has been influenced by a bulk purchase.

"When The Times has reason to believe that sales of a book include a mix of organic and bulk sales, the book's best-seller ranking is accompanied by a dagger. That's what we did with the Newsom book," Nicole Taylor, spokesperson for The Times, said in a statement to Fox News Digital.

Book promotion is common among politicians, but Newsom’s PAC spending outpaces similar political committee purchases. The Republican National Committee, for example, spent about $100,000 in 2019 purchasing Donald Trump Jr.’s book, the New York Times noted in its report. Newsom’s memoir is focused on the challenges he faced in his upbringing, addressing his battle with dyslexia and having divorced parents, as well as his political career.

Newsom's book tour, which included visiting cities across the nation, drew criticism from conservatives for the Democrat governor allegedly putting himself over leading California.

Chairwoman of the California Republican Party Corrin Rankin told Fox Digital, in response to the book campaign, she believes Newsom is trying to "rebrand his national image" while abandoning issues at home, as recent data underscores ongoing challenges in the state.

Social media commenters have not shied away from mocking Newsom over the book sales, including Republican California gubernatorial candidate and former Fox News host Steve Hilton."Gavin Newsom’s ‘bestseller’ memoir just got the ultimate California treatment: his PAC dropped $1.56 million of donor cash to buy 67,000 free copies and mail them to anyone who donated any amount," Hilton posted to X on Thursday. "That’s two-thirds of all print sales. Nothing says ‘Young Man in a Hurry’ like rigging your own book numbers with political slush funds while California burns."

Newsom is considered a top potential 2028 presidential candidate for the Democrat Party, though he has not confirmed whether he will officially throw his hat in the ring.

Democrats angry at David Hogg for using DNC contact list to fundraise for his PAC

David Hogg, who made a cottage industry off the dead bodies of his classmates at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in 2014, was recently appointed as vice chairman of the Democratic National Committee (DNC).

The slender-armed leftist is being criticized by some in his own party for allegedly using DNC resources (their donor list) to solicit donations for his persona action committee (PAC); and while it isn't illegal to do so, it's as scummy as a grease trap at a Popeye's restaurant at the end of a long day.

According to a report by the New York Post, Hogg has been sending fundraising messages to DNC contact lists, asking people to donate to his PAC, from which he reportedly earns over $100,000 a year. One of the eight messages sent out said: “David Hogg here: I was just elected DNC Vice Chair! This is a huge win for our movement to make the Democratic Party more reflective of our base: youthful, energetic, and ready to win.”

The messages included a link to Hogg’s “Leaders We Deserve” PAC.

This has caused some controversy among party officials. An unnamed top Democrat reportedly told the New York Post, “David Hogg — talk about living up to your name. A trough of DNC dollars all for him and he doesn’t seem to give an oink.”

Hogg co-founded Leaders We Deserve in August 2023 with the aim of electing young progressive candidates. Since its inception, he has personally made over $175,000 from the PAC. Although his fundraising methods don't break any official DNC rules, some officials argue it raises ethical concerns.

“It’s especially important for all Democratic national officials to focus on raising support for the party and not using their position to raise money for themselves or their personal political PACS,” another senior Democratic Party official stated. “It’s a stunning lack of judgment that is concerning to many people.”

Hogg, who is 24, was appointed as the party's vice chair just under two weeks ago. He became well-known for his activism against gun rights after the 2018 mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, where he was a student. He has also publicly supported radical left-wing policies like defunding the police and abolishing ICE.

“I mean it’s just very frustrating to be in a party in desperate need of increased accountability for our struggling leadership, and watch someone who is never held accountable ascend to leadership,” said Cameron Kasky, another survivor from Stoneman Douglas.

Hogg responded to the report by stating he “was not doing any interviews,” according to the New York Post. A spokesperson later added, “David has already raised money for the DNC since becoming Vice Chair, and many times before.”

Was MSNBC's Al Sharpton's NAN in compliance with election law

Now that we know that the Kamala Harris campaign paid both HARPO and NAN, owned by Oprah Winfree and the very right "Reverend" Al Sharpton, respectively, I wondered just how legal the payments were in terms of election law.

In the Oprah [HARPO] case, a million dollars was paid for her endorsement, and in the National Action Network [NAN] case, the very incredibly Reverend Sharptongue did a powderpuff interview [see below if you have a strong stomach] to make Harris appear lucid and NAN received $500 thousand in two installments of $250 thousand.

Oprah said that she didn't take any payment for kissing up to Harris, but we all know her company did, so there's that.

On the other hand, the very incredible right, race baiter Reverend Al Sharptongue did a media interview with Harris and was able to pull off the idea to the public that Harris is a political genius with ideas that go beyond the burden of time. Is that really legal since his company received payment for it?

Well, I went to Grok and asked it this question: is it legal for a campaign to pay a member of the media who has their own company, money for an interview?

The answer Grok gave me was this:

In the United States, the legality of a political campaign paying a member of the media for an interview can be a nuanced issue due to several factors:

Disclosure Requirements: If a campaign pays for an interview, this payment must be disclosed. [My italics.] According to the Federal Election Commission (FEC), any public communication that is paid for by a campaign, political party, or political action committee (PAC) requires a disclaimer identifying who paid for it. This means the media member or their company would need to reveal that the interview was paid for by the campaign.

Federal Election Campaign Act (FECA): Contributions from corporations are prohibited, which could extend to payments for interviews if they're considered contributions rather than payments for services. However, if the media member's company is not incorporated or falls under a different legal structure like an LLC treated as a partnership, different rules might apply.

Personal Use of Campaign Funds:Campaign funds can be used for campaign-related expenses, but not for personal use. Paying for an interview might be seen as a campaign expense if it's clearly for the purpose of promoting the candidacy or discussing campaign issues.

Journalistic Ethics:Even if legal, accepting payment for interviews by journalists or media members can be ethically questionable. Many journalistic codes of ethics prohibit such payments to maintain impartiality and avoid conflicts of interest.

Independent Expenditures: If the media member's company is making an independent expenditure (not coordinated with the campaign), they could spend money on communications supporting or opposing candidates without violating contribution limits, as long as there's no coordination with the campaign.

Regulatory and Public Perception
: While there might not be a direct legal prohibition against paying for an interview, the practice could attract scrutiny from regulatory bodies like the FEC or lead to public outcry if perceived as an attempt to buy media coverage or influence editorial content.

Conclusion: Legally, if the payment is disclosed and the media member's company complies with campaign finance laws (like not being a corporation that can't contribute directly to campaigns), it could be argued that it's permissible. However, this practice would be highly scrutinized for both legal compliance and ethical considerations. Campaigns often look for ways to engage with media, but direct payments for interviews might cross ethical lines for many in the journalism community, potentially affecting the credibility of both the journalist and the campaign.

So what do you think?

It's incredible that the money NAN/Sharpton got from the Harris campaign was not disclosed and MSNBC needs to be held accountable.
