AOC refuses to talk about skyrocketing gas prices

A representative of many New Yorkers refused to talk to reporters about the skyrocketing gas prices that affect her constituents, and they want answers with solutions.

Rep. Alexandria Obviously-Comatose (Socialist-NY) was seen in a video obtained by Fox News showing her rudely walking away when questioned about the record high prices at the pump.

Specifically, she, as well as Energy Secretary Victoria Nuland, refused to answer when asked what she would say to Americans who are facing record high prices mainly because she isn't very bright when she didn't rehearse the script she prepared for the media, and the truth is, there are no good answers when the truth is obvious: prices will continue to rise if we refuse to use our own natural resources and drill for oil and natural gas like we did when Trump was President.

It is not very inspiring to see our so-called leaders refuse to answer to the public they are supposed to represent. But people still vote for them or those who put them in power.

So the video shows AOC ignoring questions on her take with PINO Biden's sanctions against Russia and his ban on Russian oil. She just continued with her dinner at a restaurant half-correctly named, Bullfeathers, just across from the U.S. Capitol building where AOC nearly lost her life on January 6, several blocks away from a protest where the only death resulting from it was that of a protester shot by a trigger-happy Capital Police officer, Michael Byrd.

The price for a gallon of gasoline hit a record high on Wednesday for the second day in a row, according to AAA, not to be confused with AA, a group that many on Capitol Hill need to attend.

Fox News' Hillary Vaughn spoke with Obviously-Comatose on Tuesday about the so-called Biden Administrations' ban on Russian oil. When asked if the U.S. should buy oil from Iran and Venezuela, the not so gifted AOC said that, "None of these options are good ones."

"It's very alarming that many people are pushing to increase either imports or production of oil," she added. "What we really need to be doing is rapidly investing in solar and wind."

And hope for sunny, windy days and shorter nights.

What we should be doing, in this writer's humble opinion, is drill for oil here at home. Become energy independent, stop buying our pharmaceuticals from China, and vote all of these progressives, Democrats and RINOs out of office in November. Then vote out that house plant who cannot string a coherent thought together even when he reads it off a Teleprompter.

Energy Sec'y Granholm knows less about energy than otters know about calculus

Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm is without a doubt not qualified to be an energy secretary. She was stumped by a simple question asked by a reporter about the number of barrels of oil that are consumed in the U.S. on a daily average.

“I don’t have that number in front of me,” Energy Secretary Granholm told the liberal reporter during a White House press briefing on Tuesday.

The question was asked in response to alleged President Biden decided along with Granholm to tap into the Strategic Petroleum Reserve in order to try bringing the price of sky high gas prices down to earth. So you would think Granholm would have clear knowledge of how much petroleum is consumed on a daily basis. She was as clueless as a time traveler from the Ottoman Empire.

As it turns out, the amount of oil the administration decided to release is 50 million barrels. That should cover about two and a half days of U.S. supply and that's it, as The Federalist highlighted:

“File this one under ‘not qualified to be Energy Secretary,'” Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) said about the clip of her speaking with the press.

This is the same incompetent Energy Secretary who, when asked in an interview by Bloomberg News “In Sturgis, Michigan, (gas) is $2.89 a gallon. I guess that’s better than in California. What is the Granholm plan to increase oil production in America?” laughed uncontrollably and quite patronizingly.

“Would that I had the magic wand on this. As you know, of course, oil is a global market. It is controlled by a cartel. That cartel is called OPEC. And they made a decision yesterday that they were not going to increase beyond what they were already planning.”

Rather than restarting oil production in the country, Biden's [alleged] decision to tap oil reserves, the supply normally used for emergencies such as hurricanes, shows the administration's desperation to lower the seven-year high current gas prices.

The enormous rise in fuel prices is due to the White House's war on fossil fuels which is compounded by inflation that is also engineered by this administration.

Biden's well-deserved approval rating is lower than whale droppings. While he goes to his Thanksgiving dinner at a friend's  $31 million mansion, and idiot media leftists tell us to forgo the turkey this year, Americans are concerned about being able to afford the big dinner.

Meanwhile, Crenshaw called Granholm “a joke” and “a liar” in response to her statements and lack of knowledge regarding energy. You know, her job.

Crenshaw tweeted, “Our US Energy Secretary is a joke. And a liar. … No, prices are not controlled by OPEC. They have influence, but then again SO DO WE. Our vast increase in production over the past decade drove prices down. All we have to do is get the government boot off the neck of US producers, and let them do their job.”

He added, “But instead, this incompetent administration has done the opposite. They’re (sic) cancelled land leases and cancelled pipelines. They’re threatening the energy sector with more regs and taxes, and you wonder why no one wants to invest in more production?”

Seriously, if the Republicans don't take back the House and Senate, they have only themselves to blame.
