More arrests made in gutsy statue mugging

Two additional socialists were arrested Wednesday for destroying a century-old statue of a Confederate soldier in Durham, North Carolina.

Dante Strobino and Ngoc Loan Tran were arrested as they stupidly attended a court hearing for another socialist-anarchist woman who was charged Tuesday for climbing a ladder and attaching a rope to the bronze statue, in a move reminiscent of ISIS destroying Christian statues.

The Durham County Sheriff's office said the two were charged with two felonies related to inciting and participating in a riot that damaged property.

The ladder-climbing woman, Takiyah Thompson, was charged with the same counts the previous day.

Fun Fact: Takiyah, usually spelled 'Taqiyya' means to lie in the service of Islam.

Thompson is a student at North Carolina Central University, allegedly majoring in lesbian dance theory.

All three anarchists belong to the Workers World Party, a communist party in the United States founded in 1959 and led by Sam Marcy of the Socialist Workers Party. The group helped organize the Durham protest in response to the deadly violence in Charlottesville, Va. over the weekend.

Thompson allegedly climbed up and attached a rope to the statue and her colleague commies pulled it down.

After the statue fell, protesters thought it safe to kick the Confederate soldier while he was down. Some spit at it, others flipped him "the bird."

"I'm tired of white supremacy keeping its foot on my neck and the necks of people who look like me," Thompson said at a news conference. "That statue glorifies the conditions that oppressed people live in, and it had to go."

Yes, the anarchists are tired of waiting for lawful change--blame it on faster internet and leftist attention deficit disorder.

Insofar as white supremacists putting their feet on the necks of people like Thompson, there has never been a time in the United States, with more opportunities in education and employment than now.

The number of neo-nazis and white supremacists in the U.S. is relatively quite low, however, it seems that the number is on the rise. On the other side we have the alt left, Antifa and other forms of mental illness.

The Durham anarchy event was in response to a white supremacist rally held in Charlottesville, Va. over the weekend, which led to three deaths. While Charlottesville sparked new debate by government officials over removing symbols of the Confederacy and slavery around the South, the state of North Carolina has a 2015 law protecting their monuments--not that it made any difference to the actual law enforcement officials who sat on their hands while the statue of a Confederate soldier was being pulled down. The law prevents removing such monuments on public property without permission from state officials.

Durham County Sheriff Mike Andrews said Tuesday that his deputies got off their butts and are now working on finding out who was involved in the incident that they could have prevented by upholding the 2015 law. The department plans to pursue felony charges against those perpetrators.

Late Tuesday, NC Gov. Roy Cooper suddenly realized after all his years on the planet, that the remaining Confederate monuments on state property ought to be removed and directed officials to study the cost and logistics of moving them to historical sites or museums. He also tallied up the likely number of votes, both plus and minus, such a move would render him come next election.

"We cannot continue to glorify a war against the United States of America in the defense of slavery," Cooper said in a statement. "These monuments should come down."

So where this epiphany come from, Gov?

It's all politics. Everything has become politics. Everything has become us against them.

Fragile LSU flake muffins protest "Violent" Tiger Mascot

Oppressive 'white' tiger
White oppression--it's everywhere--from your toothpaste to your snowmen, white people, or 'the man' as we used to be called because many of us had jobs, have finally become the victim of the 'make believe oppressed.'

Fragile flake muffins at Louisiana State University's School of Victimhood and Whining have started an online petition urging the school's management to change its "Tigers" mascot, claiming it's the symbol of "white oppression."

The petition has thus far attracted 450 low-functioning victims. They say the mascot was chosen by "powerful white males" with big bulging muscles coming from their arms, just above their elbows, and it's in tribute to "a Confederate regiment called Louisiana Tigers" who were "known for their propensity for violence on and off the battlefield."

And violence has no place in war, they claimed.

As a way to continue finishing the job that former President Obama began of dividing the country by color, sexual orientation and religion, the petition reads: "Louisiana State University named their mascot the Tigers, and they named it during the height of Jim Crow South. This was a time when black men feared for their lives, and were treated as sub human. This symbol is the most prevalent confederate symbol in the United States."

The petition's author claims the mascot is "incredibly insulting" for African Americans because they have to "attend a school that honors Confederate militantism [which is not a real word]."

I agree that the Democrats' Jim Crow Laws sucked, much like students who refuse to allow conservatives, (as opposed to confederates) speak on campus without shouting them down or creating a violent, destructive atmosphere.

But this is just an example of the "Offense Nazis" looking for something to be offended over.

"It is already hard enough to be black at LSU, and these symbols must be changed." [Because taking down the traditional school mascot will make it easier to be black on campus?]

The mentally challenged student gave another reason the tiger mascot ought to be changed: "It's also cruel to cage a wild animal for the amusement of privileged white people. They've never been in a cage!" [Ending the sentence with a Donald Trump exclamation point is brilliant!]

How does the author know so much about white people? He or she or whatever gender it goes by, is not white. If it is white, then how does it know how hard it is to be black at LSU. However, I will henceforth refer to the author as 'it.'

You can't have it both ways, it.

The anger it seems to have toward white people is as racist as it claims white people have for it.

According to it's petition, the history of the mascot shows that it's racist towards black people and is, in fact, a "symbol of white oppression" that should be "torn down [in abject rage]."

Now comes the bullpucks: "We must speak truth to power, and continue to march toward justice. That day is coming, the day when every symbol of white oppression is torn down," it wrote.

Many people weren't fooled and saw the petition as the toilet paper it represented.

"This is getting f***ing ridiculous! The past Is the past. LSU has been the tigers since its inception," wrote Charlotte Read.

"This is the most f**king ignorant thing I have ever heard of! You people are never happy!" said another post.

So it responded to criticism with this short, semi- illiterate reply:
"People are posting this in defiance, and posting many things which shows there [sic] racism. It's these actions that let me know I'm doing the right thing. Thank you for your support," it wrote.

This is an example of how our educational institutions have gone the way of the commode. Where everything offends those who are seeking to be offended in order to feel self-important.

Yes, we are marching to that sunset where every man, woman, lesbian, gay, transgender, queer, confused, and gender neutral person can walk arm-in- arm and perhaps other body parts touching, walking in glory and love.

Hal, Lee, Lou, yeah!
