Donald Trump, never one to shy away from a megaphone, took to Truth Social Monday morning, hammering out a call for a “major investigation” into Kamala Harris.
The President is alleging that Harris shelled out cash to snag endorsements from big names like Bruce Springsteen and Beyoncé during her failed presidential run. Trump’s not just tossing pebbles here—he’s lobbing boulders, accusing Harris of straight-up illegal payoffs.
Here’s the man himself, in all-caps glory: “HOW MUCH DID KAMALA HARRIS PAY BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN FOR HIS POOR PERFORMANCE DURING HER CAMPAIGN FOR PRESIDENT? WHY DID HE ACCEPT THAT MONEY IF HE IS SUCH A FAN OF HERS? ISN’T THAT A MAJOR AND ILLEGAL CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTION? WHAT ABOUT BEYONCÉ? …AND HOW MUCH WENT TO OPRAH, AND BONO??? I am going to call for a major investigation into this matter.”
Trump doubled down, claiming Hahaharris broke the law by masking these payments as “entertainment” gigs. “Candidates aren’t allowed to pay for ENDORSEMENTS, which is what Kamala did, under the guise of paying for entertainment,” he wrote.
Now, let’s zoom in on Springsteen, who strummed his way into this mess at a Harris rally in Atlanta back in October.
But here’s where it gets sticky. The Harris campaign’s been under the microscope before for funneling hefty sums to celebrity production companies. The Washington Free Beacon dug up some dirt last month, reporting that Harris’s team dropped $50,000 on LeBron James’s production company for “campaign event production.” LeBron didn’t show up to any rallies, mind you, but he did post a video endorsing Harris and tossing a racism jab at Trump.
So, what’s the deal? Is this just Trump stirring the pot, or did Harris’s campaign play fast and loose with the rulebook? The truth’s probably somewhere in the gray, but one thing’s clear: when you’ve got this much star power and cash changing hands, people are going to talk.

You can almost hear the keyboard groaning under the weight of those exclamation points.

Tonight, we ask all who believe in democracy and the best of our American experiment to rise with us, raise your voices against authoritarianism and let freedom ring!”
Sounds like Bruce isn’t just singing about the Promised Land—he’s preaching against Trump’s and he has no receipts to support his blather. I mean, where's the treason?
