Father of alleged school shooter abandoned 2 dogs, wedding pix, during eviction--'kicked in door' to retrieve his guns

The so called father of the accused Georgia high school shooter, the wonderful dad who gave his child the weapon he used to kill four students and teachers and wound nine more, is now off the candidate list for Father of the Year. This is a guy who abandoned two of his family's dogs and left the wedding photos behind when they were evicted from their home but later returned and "kicked in the door" to retrieve his guns, according to his ex-landlord.

Colin Gray has since been arrested for providing his son with the weapon.

Both Colin and his wife Marcee Gray were described as chaotic tenants who eventually fell way behind in the rent and were evicted from their home in 2020. They had to vacate along with their three children, including the now 14-year-old mass school shooter of Apalachee High School.

The once loving couple are now estranged.

The landlord, who remains anonymous, told the media that the family was slow to leave the rental property and left behind their two German Shepherds and several priceless memories.

“I imagine the next place where they were renting didn’t allow dogs, so they just left them,” he explained, saying that the couple had ignored his attempts at reuniting them with their dogs, an archery set, tools, wedding photos, and a golf bag.

“They left their wedding photos,” he said. “My wife tried to contact (Marcee) to say, ‘Hey, do you want these? Like, you can have them.’ And she never responded. So we ended up having to throw away their wedding pictures.”

The young shooter's mother, Marcee, 43, has a lengthy rap sheet with drug and domestic violence arrests, but to her credit, she never killed anyone.

Colin had only returned to the house after the locks were changed to retrieve the firearms he left behind.

The 54-year-old father reportedly “kicked in the door to get his guns out.” But cops advised the landlord to let it slide because there was only minimal damage and besides, the guy is probably bat excrement crazy.

Colt Gray made his first appearance in court on Sept. 6 after he was arrested and charged with killing four people in a school shooting on Sept. 4, 2024. He is charged with four counts of manslaughter, two counts of second-degree murder, and eight counts of cruelty to children.

The property owner says he had forgotten about the family until earlier this week when the couple’s names came across his news feed, “And then it all comes back,” the shocked landlord said.

Students Mason Schermerhorn and Christian Angulo, both 14, and math teachers Richard “Ricky” Aspinwall, 39, and Christina Irimie, 53, were killed in the massacre.

In court Friday, Gray, who will be tried as an adult, was warned he will face life in prison. [Why isn't it called 'death in prison' instead of life?]

The charges come after it was revealed that Colin, not the brightest light in the drawer, bought an AR-15 style rifle that his son used in the shootings and gave it to him last Christmas.

“These charges stem from Mr. Gray knowingly allowing his son, Colt, to possess a weapon,” GBI Director Chris Hosey told reporters at a press conference, without providing any additional details.

The FBI had the shooter on their radar, and like what happened to former President Donald Trump, the agency was as useful as bubble gum for a blowfish. They had received tips online about school shooting threats and went into action by acting like they knew nothing, hoping to trick the shooter into thinking they were like the Secret Service. Turns out they were.

Lauren Vickers, who lived next door to the Grays in Jefferson, Georgia, said there were “problems immediately” when the Grays and their children moved into the well-manicured neighborhood 60 miles east of Atlanta in 2022.

“There were nights where the mom would lock him and his sister out the house. And they would be banging on the back door, just screaming like ‘Mom! mom! mom!’ and crying. It was absolutely devastating,” she said.

Now it's time for the pundits on the far-left to blame the gun for the shooting. These are often the same geniuses who blame Israel for the October 7 attack.
