The Times Square shooter who injured a tourist and fired at cops was bagged on Friday, law enforcement reports. When he was caught, he cried like a little girl whose dolly's head came off.
The teen, Jesus Alejandro Rivas-Figueroa, 15, is from Venezuela. He was taken into custody in Yonkers, NY at around 3:30 p.m. a short time after he was identified by NYPD Chief of Patrol John Chell as an "armed and dangerous" person of interest regarding the incident at the Crossroads of the World on Thursday evening.
Rivas-Firueroa came across the southern border last September and stayed at a temporary shelter at the Stratford Hotel on West 70th Street in Manhattan.
The teen is also a suspect in an armed robbery in the Bronx on January 27th, and in yet another incident in which shots were fired in Midtown Manhattan, the police official said.
The teen is considered “armed and dangerous” with what police believe is a “very large” .40-caliber handgun, Chell added at the initial report about the suspect.
He allegedly fired two shots at police officers when fleeing Thursday night. The gunfire occurred at around 7:15 p.m.

“He [Rivas-Figueroa] had no problems firing into a crowd at a store … and not shooting at cops once, but shooting at them twice,” Chell said of the illegal alien.
“We’re not gonna put up with this,” he insisted, hoping someone from the Biden administration was listening and agreeing, but alas, they were too busy trying to cover up for his press conference clusterfrack.

Sources said Friday that a 15-year-old and a third person were taken into custody and later released.
Rivas-Figueroa and the two additional unnamed 16- and 15-year-old suspects went to school together, Chell said
While the other 15-year-old was detained at the scene Thursday night, police are still trying to determine the 16-year-old’s role in the incident, the police official said.

We need to deport these people.
