George Santos wants plea deal before corruption trial as he would feel unsafe in prison

Since George Santos (R-NY) got booted out of Congress for his chronic fraudulent, unethical behavior, he now hopes to make a plea deal to keep his lying butt out of prison.

The liar who is charged with unauthorized donor credit card charges, stolen identities of donors, lying to the Federal Election Commission, illegally receiving unemployment benefits, laundering money, and inflating his campaign's financial statements has been negotiating with Eastern District of New York prosecutors involved in the 23-count indictment he faces, according to court records.

“The parties are presently engaged in plea negotiations with the goal of resolving this matter without the need for a trial,” government lawyers wrote in a Monday court filing ahead of a Tuesday morning pretrial status conference — where the disgraced Santos is expected to appear in person.

The lying former lawmaker is facing more than 22 years in prison for the allegations he faces.

Santos, 35, has publicly expressed his scared feces-less about getting thrown behind bars where he would likely be the go-to guy in the showers should he drop the soap.

“I think everybody should be afraid of going to jail. It’s not a pretty place. I definitely want to work very hard to avoid that,” he told CBS New York’s “The Point” Sunday.

“I’m going to negotiate the best I can,” the delicate flower said.

Santos indicated he would be amenable to community service or some sort of plea deal that would spare him prison time. He would even be willing to taking in wash, sweeping floors, doing dishes, and attending protests no matter the cause.

Funny how things have changed since September when he told reporters,  “I will not take a plea deal” and vowed “I can prove my innocence.”

Let him prove it in court.

The scumcrumpet even attempted to throw his former campaign treasurer, Nancy Marks, under the bus after she pleaded guilty to a conspiracy charge in October. [H/T NY Post.]

A former Santos fundraiser, Samuel Miele, has also pleaded guilty to federal charges.

Santos, who on Dec. 1 became only the sixth-ever House member to be expelled, is scheduled to stand trial September 9, 2024, but prosecutors have attempted to move up the trial date to May or June.

Never one to avoid scamming the naive, Santos made a load of money on Cameo, a video-sharing platform in which celebrities film messages requested by peons of society. He basically gives them "pep-talks" but now seems to need one himself.

A little more about the guy.

He was raised Catholic but at times lied about being Jewish, then after being found out about that lie claimed to be "Jew-ish." Kinda sorta like a Jew. He also claimed to be "half Jewish;" a non-observant Jew; "a proud American Jew;" but he isn't.

In 2019 and 2020 he claimed that as a child he attended the Horace Mann School, an elite preparatory school in the Bronx, but had to withdraw due to family hardship. The school had no record of him ever attending so Santos then claimed he attended ninth grade there for only six months and claimed that he used one of his other names [or aliases, in his case]. The school then said there was no record of any student attending classes there at that time frame using any of the names the fraudster gave.

Santos lied about holding a bachelor's degree in finance and economics from Baruch College and graduated in the top percentile of his [make-believe] class with a 3.89 GPA. Unfortunately for him and his credibility, this claim of that time period clashed with his time in Brazil.

Earlier this year, Nassau County Republican Chairman Joe Cairo, said at a press conference that Santos told him that he was a "star player" on the Baruch volleyball team, and had won the league championship. He went on a pre-election radio interview where he claimed that his volleyball career led him to needing both knees replaced, but later admitted to lying about graduating from any college.

So his masters degree in business administration from NYU and his score of 710 on the Graduate Management Admission Test was a fantasy too, as was his lie about having to pay off student loans by 2020.

And there are more lies by the digital ink in my computer is getting low.

Suffice it to say, whether found guilty or not guilty in court, if George Santos was an inanimate thing, he would be a cesspool proudly overflowing with, you know, stuff.
