UPDATE: It has been learned that the shooter may have been a former employee or current employee at the bank where the shooting occurred. Gov. Beshear spoke with emotion as he knew two of the five dead. The latest information says that there are now 9 confirmed injuries, 3 are in surgery as this is being written.
"He just started firing," the witness reportedly said. "I didn't see his face. We were in the conference room. Whoever was next to me got shot, their blood's on me."
The area in Louisville, Kentucky where police say an "active aggressor" situation is unfolding Monday morning.
The Mayor also said there was an "active police situation downtown" and for the public to "please avoid the area around Slugger Field until further notice."

A witness at the scene said the male shooter had a "long assault rifle" and began shooting on the first floor.
